0:04:40 > 0:04:43Bittersweet and The Allsorts. We're going to talk to Resonate first.

0:04:43 > 0:04:45Hello, Harriet. Am I right in thinking you guys

0:04:45 > 0:04:47are all responsible for your own outfits?

0:04:47 > 0:04:49Yeah, we all pitch in our own ideas

0:04:49 > 0:04:51and then we decide on the best one in the end.

0:04:51 > 0:04:53And you sort of based it on your performance, have you?

0:04:53 > 0:04:55Talk me through this outfit.

0:04:55 > 0:04:57Well, we've been described before as angelic

0:04:57 > 0:05:00so we thought we'd put our look into that as well.

0:05:00 > 0:05:04It's simple and it brings more attention to our voices.

0:05:04 > 0:05:07Well, I think you're pulling off the angelic look beautifully.

0:05:07 > 0:05:09Good luck today. Over here to Bittersweet.

0:05:09 > 0:05:11I remember you guys last time.

0:05:11 > 0:05:14You had those magazines with your faces on the front, didn't you?

0:05:14 > 0:05:16You've got something in your hand.

0:05:16 > 0:05:18Actually, we made you a magazine with your face on it.

0:05:18 > 0:05:21I was kind of hoping you might do that. That's amazing!

0:05:21 > 0:05:24Shall I hold it up like that? Is that better?

0:05:24 > 0:05:27I'll just present like that. You are the only group from Glasgow.

0:05:27 > 0:05:31- Does that feel a bit of pressure? - Just a bit.- A little bit.

0:05:31 > 0:05:34A little bit. Have you made any changes to your style

0:05:34 > 0:05:36based on what the judges said to you last time?

0:05:36 > 0:05:39Well, before we got really positive comments

0:05:39 > 0:05:44so we just decided to keep up the energy and just go with the flow.

0:05:44 > 0:05:46If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

0:05:46 > 0:05:49And over here to the Allsorts who are so bright today.

0:05:49 > 0:05:52You're dazzling. I should have bought my sunglasses for you lot.

0:05:52 > 0:05:53You're quite newly-formed,

0:05:53 > 0:05:55especially for Comic Relief Does Glee Club,

0:05:55 > 0:05:59but I understand you've already got some unusual nicknames amongst you.

0:05:59 > 0:06:01Is that right? Who's Baby? Who's Granny?

0:06:01 > 0:06:04- You're...?- Baby.- And who's Granny? - I'm Granny.

0:06:04 > 0:06:07Does that mean you've got your pension sorted already?

0:06:07 > 0:06:09- Oh, yeah(!)- Why those names?

0:06:09 > 0:06:13I'm called Granny because I'm the oldest of the group and I sort of

0:06:13 > 0:06:17look after the group and then Phoebe is the Baby because she's only ten.

0:06:17 > 0:06:20- Awwww. How are you feeling today? - Excited.

0:06:20 > 0:06:22I can't wait to see your performance.

0:06:36 > 0:06:37Allsorts...

0:06:37 > 0:06:41and Bittersweet, things may be about to heat up

0:06:41 > 0:06:43when they take to the stage.

0:06:43 > 0:06:46But the three glee clubs were dressed for a much colder climate

0:06:46 > 0:06:50when they got together for the first time in Glasgow.

0:08:18 > 0:08:21I think that we'll make a lot of good friends from this, actually.

0:08:21 > 0:08:23I think we've met some lovely people

0:08:23 > 0:08:27- and it just makes the experience more fun, doesn't it?- Yeah.- Yeah!

0:08:27 > 0:08:29Have you rehearsed before you came here?

0:13:13 > 0:13:16CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:13:20 > 0:13:23That was absolutely fantastic. Let's see what the judges thought.

0:13:23 > 0:13:26Carrie, what did you think to the vocals there?

0:13:26 > 0:13:28Wow. My goodness.

0:13:28 > 0:13:30Today is going to be a really tough show. Allsorts,

0:13:30 > 0:13:32I'm going to start with you guys.

0:13:32 > 0:13:36Your unison singing, when you're all singing the same notes,

0:13:36 > 0:13:39was absolutely brilliantly blended. Well done.

0:13:39 > 0:13:42Now I'm going to go to Resonate over here.

0:13:42 > 0:13:45You probably are technically the strongest singers.

0:13:45 > 0:13:48What you need to work out is...

0:13:48 > 0:13:50Each harmony in its own right is great,

0:13:50 > 0:13:53but the sound of each harmony is very different to the next.

0:13:53 > 0:13:56So there's not a blend between the harmonies. That's something

0:13:56 > 0:14:00you need to look at. Bittersweet, you absolutely blew me away.

0:14:00 > 0:14:03Such energy coming off you.

0:14:03 > 0:14:06I think you would definitely give Little Mix a run for their money.

0:14:06 > 0:14:08Wow.

0:14:08 > 0:14:10- That's not bad. - Not bad comments, really.- No.

0:14:10 > 0:14:13David, how do you compare those performances?

0:14:13 > 0:14:16OK. Three very different performances again.

0:14:16 > 0:14:19The thing is that the purpose of this round is that each group

0:14:19 > 0:14:23takes the same song, they bend it to their will,

0:14:23 > 0:14:26they make the song suit their style by their delivery.

0:14:26 > 0:14:28Now, I felt with Resonate, what you did...

0:14:28 > 0:14:31I think the song slightly got the better of you.

0:14:31 > 0:14:34I actually feel like you weren't quite able to make it work

0:14:34 > 0:14:37completely to your strengths because your strengths are

0:14:37 > 0:14:40your facial connection and I could just see you thinking

0:14:40 > 0:14:43about what you were doing rather than just connecting.

0:14:43 > 0:14:47Allsorts, for me, your unison was tight and it was good

0:14:47 > 0:14:50and it was fine. But when you got to be harmonies,

0:14:50 > 0:14:54it was like a recording. It was so together and so tight.

0:14:54 > 0:14:57Bittersweet, I've just got three words for you.

0:14:57 > 0:15:01Confidence, attitude and swagger.

0:15:03 > 0:15:05Amazing. You were fantastic.

0:15:05 > 0:15:08APPLAUSE

0:15:10 > 0:15:12John, which act did it for you there?

0:15:12 > 0:15:15Well, that track particularly makes me want to take up boxing.

0:15:15 > 0:15:17I feel like Rocky Balboa.

0:15:17 > 0:15:21- So, in the spirit of boxing, Round One, Bittersweet.- OK.- All right.

0:15:23 > 0:15:26Right. Sisco, where you entertained?

0:15:26 > 0:15:28I was very entertained.

0:15:28 > 0:15:30I really appreciated how each group

0:15:30 > 0:15:31had a different version of the song.

0:15:31 > 0:15:34How they incorporated, it was very interesting to see.

0:15:34 > 0:15:38I'm going to start with Resonate. I can see that you guys...

0:15:38 > 0:15:41This isn't your type of song. I felt like the song slightly exposed you.

0:15:41 > 0:15:44You're more musical theatre and I feel you should have embedded

0:15:44 > 0:15:46the style of the song a bit more.

0:15:46 > 0:15:49When it comes to Allsorts, I just loved the unison singing,

0:15:49 > 0:15:53as Carrie said. It was so, so beautiful. So well done on that.

0:15:53 > 0:15:55But, Bittersweet, you guys are like a girl band.

0:15:55 > 0:15:57You're like the new S Club or I don't know.

0:15:57 > 0:16:01You guys, you're like a group and as soon as the first word started

0:16:01 > 0:16:05you were, like, "Bam!" And I believed every single word.

0:16:05 > 0:16:08I loved the choreography and the conviction. Well done.

0:16:08 > 0:16:10APPLAUSE

0:16:10 > 0:16:13And everybody likes a party like an S Club party,

0:16:13 > 0:16:15you know what I'm saying?

0:16:15 > 0:16:18Whilst we check and verify the scores for Round One,

0:16:18 > 0:16:21let's take a look at some messages from some famous folk that we know.

0:16:23 > 0:16:26If you have been inspired by the incredible performances

0:16:26 > 0:16:28on today's show, then why not get involved

0:16:28 > 0:16:31and do something funny for money for this Red Nose Day?

0:16:33 > 0:16:34- ALL:- Hi. We're Little Mix.

0:16:34 > 0:16:37If you have been inspired by the glee clubs on today's show,

0:16:37 > 0:16:39then get a group of friends together

0:16:39 > 0:16:41and put on your own performance for Red Nose Day.

0:16:41 > 0:16:43- ALL:- Thank you.

0:16:46 > 0:16:48The scores have been checked and verified

0:16:48 > 0:16:51and the results for Round One are in. So it's over to you, Mark.

0:16:51 > 0:16:53Okey-dokey, Samuel.

0:16:53 > 0:16:56I can reveal that the judges' combined score for Resonate

0:16:56 > 0:16:58out of a possible 120 points is...

0:17:02 > 0:17:03..59.

0:17:03 > 0:17:06APPLAUSE

0:17:08 > 0:17:11The judges' combined score for Bittersweet is...

0:17:14 > 0:17:16..104.

0:17:16 > 0:17:19CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:17:20 > 0:17:24And finally, the judges' combined score for Allsorts is...

0:17:27 > 0:17:28..82.

0:17:28 > 0:17:31APPLAUSE

0:17:33 > 0:17:36Well done. Now, don't worry. There's still time to add

0:17:36 > 0:17:39some more points to your total. But before that, let's take a look

0:17:39 > 0:17:41at the scoreboard after Round One.

0:17:41 > 0:17:43Resonate have 59 points,

0:17:43 > 0:17:46Bittersweet take the lead with 104 points

0:17:46 > 0:17:49and Allsorts have 82 points.

0:17:49 > 0:17:52But with 120 points available to each group in Round Two,

0:17:52 > 0:17:54it could all change.

0:17:56 > 0:17:59All right then. Three very different performances, as the judges said.

0:17:59 > 0:18:02Let us talk to the angelic Resonate first.

0:18:02 > 0:18:05Now, they said you were technically the strongest group,

0:18:05 > 0:18:09but perhaps it's not the sort of music that you're used to singing.

0:18:09 > 0:18:12What do you think about that? Did you enjoy singing Little Mix?

0:18:12 > 0:18:14I think they kind of hit the nail on the head

0:18:14 > 0:18:18when they said that we're more musical theatre types.

0:18:18 > 0:18:21Our strength is really our ballads. They're the experts so...

0:18:21 > 0:18:23But you've got your ballad coming up

0:18:23 > 0:18:26so you're ready to knock their socks off with your second song?

0:18:26 > 0:18:29- Yeah, we're staying positive for the second round.- As you should.

0:18:29 > 0:18:32Over to Bittersweet with your swagger on, uber-confident.

0:18:32 > 0:18:34Compared to Little Mix -

0:18:34 > 0:18:36what do you make of what the judges said to you?

0:18:36 > 0:18:38I think it was really good comments

0:18:38 > 0:18:42and that we do represent a little girl band.

0:18:42 > 0:18:45Would you like to be the next big thing? The next big girl band?

0:18:45 > 0:18:49- That would be amazing, if that did happen.- It could happen.

0:18:49 > 0:18:53And over to the oh-so-bright Allsorts. Ah, my eyes! So dazzling.

0:18:53 > 0:18:55Let's have a little chat with you.

0:18:55 > 0:18:58Now, David said to you that you sounded like a recording.

0:18:58 > 0:19:01So how are you going to up your game for the next level

0:19:01 > 0:19:02if you sound that good now?

0:19:02 > 0:19:07I guess we'll try and match it and be even better. But, um...

0:19:07 > 0:19:09No, we really enjoyed performing that

0:19:09 > 0:19:12and singing's one of our high points so we try our best.

0:19:12 > 0:19:14Well, you could tell you enjoyed it.

0:19:14 > 0:19:17Three fantastic performances. But you're all going to have to turn up

0:19:17 > 0:19:20the heat now because next you've got to sing for your survival.

0:19:20 > 0:19:22So please give them all a great big round of applause

0:19:22 > 0:19:24and it's back to you, Sam and Mark.

0:19:24 > 0:19:25CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:19:25 > 0:19:28Thank you very much, Naomi. It is getting hot in here.

0:19:28 > 0:19:30While the groups get ready for round number two,

0:19:30 > 0:19:32let's remind ourselves why we're here and how Comic Relief

0:19:32 > 0:19:36really does make a difference to young people in the UK and in Africa.

0:19:38 > 0:19:41Comic Relief works hard to support people who are leading

0:19:41 > 0:19:45incredibly difficult lives by funding projects all over Africa

0:19:45 > 0:19:47as well as right here in the UK.

0:19:48 > 0:19:52In fact, the charity has funded over 15,000 projects in the UK,

0:19:52 > 0:19:57working 365 days a year to change things for the better.

0:20:30 > 0:20:33You really can make a difference so go on, get involved

0:20:33 > 0:20:35and do something funny for money.

0:20:35 > 0:20:37Get this, I know this one guy who is going to

0:20:37 > 0:20:40sit in a bath of maggots for 24 hours!

0:20:40 > 0:20:41AUDIENCE GROANS

0:20:41 > 0:20:45- That's disgusting!- I don't know what you're laughing at. You're the guy.

0:20:45 > 0:20:46What?!

0:20:46 > 0:20:48Anyway, Round Two is the last chance for our groups

0:20:48 > 0:20:50to deliver a show-stopping performance.

0:20:50 > 0:20:53They need to score as many points as they can to secure a top spot

0:20:53 > 0:20:55on the Glee Club leaderboard.

0:20:55 > 0:20:58Remember, only the top five will go through to the live finals.

0:20:58 > 0:21:00OK, Mr D, can you please do the honours

0:21:00 > 0:21:01and introduce the final round?

0:21:01 > 0:21:03I'm off in the bath.

0:21:03 > 0:21:06Round Two, Survival Song. The groups have to give it their all.

0:21:06 > 0:21:09It's their final chance to build those all-important points.

0:21:09 > 0:21:10CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:21:13 > 0:21:15They've come all the way from the Isle of Wight,

0:21:15 > 0:21:17which is off the south coast of England.

0:21:17 > 0:21:19Thanks for that, Mr Geography.

0:21:19 > 0:21:21Let us take a look at Resonate's journey to the heats.

0:21:21 > 0:21:24- I'm guessing it involved a boat. - Probably.

0:21:26 > 0:21:28Resonate have shown the skills

0:21:28 > 0:21:32to be a resounding success on their journey to Glasgow.

0:21:32 > 0:21:34They grabbed the chance to have a bit of fun

0:21:34 > 0:21:36at the judges' auditions in London,

0:21:36 > 0:21:38before taking the stage

0:21:38 > 0:21:42and walking away with the sound of high praise ringing in their ears.

0:21:42 > 0:21:45- How are you feeling today?- Excited.

0:21:45 > 0:21:50# Cry me a river that leads to your ocean

0:21:50 > 0:21:54# You'll never see me fall apart. #

0:21:54 > 0:21:57The vocals were really soothing and smooth.

0:21:57 > 0:21:59I could have sat and listened to that sound all day.

0:21:59 > 0:22:03I absolutely loved that song and the good news is I still love it!

0:22:03 > 0:22:06I didn't like that one though.

0:22:06 > 0:22:09- What's this? - You don't notice anything.

0:22:09 > 0:22:12You're so busy listening to singing!

0:22:13 > 0:22:17So can Resonate keep their Glee Club dream alive?

0:22:17 > 0:22:21Resonate's style is kind of... we're into ballads

0:22:21 > 0:22:26- and quite slow songs but we can definitely do upbeat stuff.- Yeah.

0:22:26 > 0:22:29- We're definitely looking forward to getting in the studio.- Yeah.

0:22:29 > 0:22:32- Performing in front of the judges. - It is going to be so fun!

0:22:32 > 0:22:35- I'm a bit nervous, though. - Yeah. I was going to say that!

0:22:37 > 0:22:39It is quite clear there is tough competition.

0:22:39 > 0:22:42It is down to the last 15. Everyone's at a high standard.

0:22:42 > 0:22:45- It is. A really high standard. - It's pretty obvious now.

0:22:45 > 0:22:48Have you got what it takes to get through to the semifinal?

0:22:48 > 0:22:50It's just so hard to say, isn't it?

0:22:50 > 0:22:53Everyone's amazing, but we're going to give it our best.

0:22:54 > 0:22:56CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:22:56 > 0:22:59They've performed with opera legend Lesley Garrett,

0:22:59 > 0:23:02so let's hope this performance will be a walk or a RUN in the park.

0:23:02 > 0:23:04Singing Run by Snow Patrol,

0:23:04 > 0:23:07then later covered by Leona Lewis, it's Resonate!

0:23:07 > 0:23:10CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:23:17 > 0:23:24# I'll sing it one last time for you

0:23:24 > 0:23:31# Then we really have to go

0:23:31 > 0:23:37# You've been the only thing that's right

0:23:37 > 0:23:45# In all I've done

0:23:45 > 0:23:49# Light up, light up

0:23:49 > 0:23:54# As if you have a choice

0:23:54 > 0:24:01# Even if you cannot hear my voice

0:24:01 > 0:24:09# I'll be right beside you, dear

0:24:12 > 0:24:13# Louder, louder... #

0:24:13 > 0:24:14Yeah!

0:24:15 > 0:24:20# And we'll run for our lives

0:24:20 > 0:24:28# I can hardly speak, I understand

0:24:28 > 0:24:30# Why you can't raise your voice

0:24:30 > 0:24:38# To say

0:24:39 > 0:24:41# Light up

0:24:41 > 0:24:44# Light up. #

0:24:44 > 0:24:48CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:24:50 > 0:24:54- Wow!- Well done, guys, that was great.- Haunting!

0:24:54 > 0:24:59David, did Resonate pull it out of the bag there?

0:24:59 > 0:25:02The bag? They're back in the game.

0:25:02 > 0:25:05That was...fantastic!

0:25:05 > 0:25:08Beautiful arrangement, beautifully performed,

0:25:08 > 0:25:10wonderfully blended.

0:25:10 > 0:25:12I loved every minute of it.

0:25:12 > 0:25:16From the very first note that you sang to the very last harmony,

0:25:16 > 0:25:19- that was wonderful. - John, did you like it?

0:25:19 > 0:25:21I would buy that single tomorrow if you released it.

0:25:21 > 0:25:23That's the Resonate I saw on Day One

0:25:23 > 0:25:27and that's the Resonate I'm seeing in front of me now. Well done.

0:25:27 > 0:25:30APPLAUSE Sisco, were they good enough?

0:25:30 > 0:25:35That's probably, vocally, the best performance of all three seasons.

0:25:35 > 0:25:37- WOW!- Amazing work!

0:25:37 > 0:25:39CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:25:39 > 0:25:43I think the arrangement, the quality of your voices, the blend

0:25:43 > 0:25:49and the way you guys incorporated the song was absolutely amazing.

0:25:49 > 0:25:52Which just shows, if you're that good, you have to make sure

0:25:52 > 0:25:55that, in other styles, you consistently give as much.

0:25:55 > 0:25:58Try to be versatile because with that vocal ability,

0:25:58 > 0:26:01you guys are unstoppable. That was beautiful.

0:26:01 > 0:26:03CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:26:03 > 0:26:05Carrie, do you still think it was the right decision

0:26:05 > 0:26:07to put Resonate through?

0:26:07 > 0:26:10Well, that was a world-class performance.

0:26:10 > 0:26:13You could sing that on a world stage

0:26:13 > 0:26:16and stand against any of the top artists that we have out there

0:26:16 > 0:26:19and you would equal them. Absolutely brilliant.

0:26:19 > 0:26:21What I want to say to you is this -

0:26:21 > 0:26:25you were clearly really intimidated by your first song today.

0:26:25 > 0:26:29Do YOUR thing. Make it your own. This is what you have.

0:26:29 > 0:26:33Stop trying to be something else on those songs that you find tricky,

0:26:33 > 0:26:35do this on that and we'd have gone,

0:26:35 > 0:26:38"I love how they've taken a Little Mix track and made it choral."

0:26:38 > 0:26:39Yeah? So that is my advice.

0:26:39 > 0:26:44If you get through, please give us this on every single song.

0:26:44 > 0:26:46Well done, guys. Well done.

0:26:46 > 0:26:48CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:26:48 > 0:26:49Well, they were not bad comments.

0:26:49 > 0:26:53You totally redeemed yourselves! All right! Back in the game.

0:26:53 > 0:26:55Thank you very much, judges, and give it up one more time

0:26:55 > 0:26:57for the brilliant Resonate.

0:26:57 > 0:26:58CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:26:58 > 0:27:00Well done, guys.

0:27:02 > 0:27:05A quality performance there. You gave me goose bumps.

0:27:05 > 0:27:08So you're back in the game. That's what David said.

0:27:08 > 0:27:11John said he would buy your single if it was released tomorrow.

0:27:11 > 0:27:13Sisco said the best, vocally, of any series.

0:27:13 > 0:27:16- You must be happy with those comments.- Definitely.

0:27:16 > 0:27:19They are amazing comments and we are so glad that we could just

0:27:19 > 0:27:22show you what we've got with that song.

0:27:22 > 0:27:24Well, Carrie said, "world-class", so if you ever got to perform

0:27:24 > 0:27:28on a world stage, who would you like to perform alongside?

0:27:29 > 0:27:32Um, I don't know.

0:27:32 > 0:27:35The Les Miserables cast at the West End.

0:27:35 > 0:27:40- Sam and Mark.- "Sam and Mark!" They are shouting out. Yes.- Of course.

0:27:40 > 0:27:43Fingers crossed you've done enough to get through to the next round.

0:27:43 > 0:27:46Please put your hands together for Resonate.

0:27:46 > 0:27:48CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:27:48 > 0:27:51Oh, it just got interesting. Thank you very much, Naomi.

0:27:51 > 0:27:54Now, the next act is our only group from Glasgow.

0:27:54 > 0:27:57Let's take a look at Bittersweet's journey to the heats.

0:28:02 > 0:28:06Bittersweet's performance put a smile on John's face in Glasgow.

0:28:06 > 0:28:09There's nothing "Bittersweet" about you. You're all sweet.

0:28:09 > 0:28:13Really enjoyed that. I'm going to be smiling all day after that one.

0:28:13 > 0:28:15They went all-out to impress at the judges' auditions.

0:28:15 > 0:28:17And didn't disappoint!

0:28:17 > 0:28:21# Cos we are living in a material world

0:28:21 > 0:28:24# And I am a material girl

0:28:24 > 0:28:28# You know that we are living in a material world

0:28:28 > 0:28:31# And I am a material girl... #

0:28:31 > 0:28:34I really loved that performance. I loved the choreography.

0:28:34 > 0:28:36I thought you were really original.

0:28:36 > 0:28:39I loved the vocals, the doop-doop-doo-doo.

0:28:39 > 0:28:41I am going to be singing that for days now.

0:28:41 > 0:28:44It is like watching a little mini performance from a musical.

0:28:44 > 0:28:46It was really very, very good.

0:28:46 > 0:28:49So can they top that performance again?

0:28:49 > 0:28:54- How much have you been practising? - Lots.- Everyday?

0:28:54 > 0:28:56Nearly.

0:28:56 > 0:28:59# I want to sing, sing, sing

0:28:59 > 0:29:01# I want to dance, dance, dance

0:29:01 > 0:29:02# I want to sing

0:29:02 > 0:29:04# I want to dance. Hallelu! #

0:29:04 > 0:29:06I would say Bittersweet are girly.

0:29:06 > 0:29:11- We're quirky and cute. - Bubbly.- Bubbly. Energy.

0:29:11 > 0:29:13- Energetic, I should say.- Energetic.

0:29:13 > 0:29:16One of the really good things about Bittersweet

0:29:16 > 0:29:19and one of the reasons we feel so comfortable performing

0:29:19 > 0:29:23is because we're almost like a family. Bittersweet. Girl power.

0:29:23 > 0:29:25CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:29:25 > 0:29:28Let's hope their performance is anything but "Bittersweet".

0:29:28 > 0:29:31Singing and dancing for a place in the live finals,

0:29:31 > 0:29:33it's Bittersweet with The Promise.

0:29:33 > 0:29:36CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:29:39 > 0:29:41# One, two, three, four

0:29:41 > 0:29:46# Everything he does, better than anything ordinary

0:29:46 > 0:29:50# Everything he wants, he gets, cos

0:29:50 > 0:29:52# Everything he does is kinda necessary

0:29:52 > 0:29:58# I believe in love, tell me, can anything last for ever?

0:29:58 > 0:30:00# Life can live up to love

0:30:00 > 0:30:04# Got a hand on my heart, never saying never

0:30:04 > 0:30:06# You're gonna make me, make me love you

0:30:06 > 0:30:08# Nothing at all, nothing that I do

0:30:08 > 0:30:10# Promise I made, promise I made

0:30:10 > 0:30:14# Starting to fade, starting to fade, fade

0:30:14 > 0:30:17# You're gonna make me, make me love you

0:30:17 > 0:30:19# Nothing at all that I cannot do

0:30:19 > 0:30:21# Promise I made, promise I made

0:30:21 > 0:30:23# Starting to fade, starting to fade.

0:30:25 > 0:30:29# Maybe next time I'll take the ride on by

0:30:29 > 0:30:32# I wanna feel you near

0:30:34 > 0:30:37# Cos I can't play this like I'm meant to now

0:30:37 > 0:30:42# My Aladdin's lamp is down and I got a fear

0:30:42 > 0:30:45# Oh, baby, right here

0:30:45 > 0:30:50# Giving up just looking into windows

0:30:50 > 0:30:56# Yeah, I've had enough of wishing I've found you

0:30:56 > 0:30:59# You're gonna make me, make me love you

0:30:59 > 0:31:02# Nothing at all that I cannot do

0:31:02 > 0:31:05# Promise I made, promise I made

0:31:05 > 0:31:09# Starting to fade. #

0:31:11 > 0:31:13CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:31:17 > 0:31:21- We need a cleaner.- Cleaner! - Well done, guys.

0:31:21 > 0:31:23Let's go to the judges, see what they thought.

0:31:23 > 0:31:25John, did that performance work for you?

0:31:25 > 0:31:27Yeah, you guys do.

0:31:27 > 0:31:32I mean, it's basically your use of props, your fashion sense,

0:31:32 > 0:31:34your choreography, your vocals.

0:31:34 > 0:31:40Everything you guys do for me, so far, has been pretty spot on.

0:31:40 > 0:31:42And, again, I've got a smile on my face.

0:31:42 > 0:31:46I love listening to you girls sing. You could easily be a girl band.

0:31:46 > 0:31:47APPLAUSE

0:31:47 > 0:31:50- All right. - Sisco, did that performance

0:31:50 > 0:31:53PROMISE everything you'd hoped for? See what I did there?

0:31:53 > 0:31:55I really enjoy you guys.

0:31:55 > 0:31:58I think you guys have a really nice sense of unity

0:31:58 > 0:32:01and you can tell you guys enjoy each other's company.

0:32:01 > 0:32:03That reads on stage. That is really good.

0:32:03 > 0:32:08I think I prefer you when you sing in a more contemporary format.

0:32:08 > 0:32:10So the Little Mix song, I think, suited you more.

0:32:10 > 0:32:14It's more hip and you guys have more attitude than that song.

0:32:14 > 0:32:16You guys were playing this very sweet character

0:32:16 > 0:32:19and I felt it restricted you slightly. A good performance.

0:32:19 > 0:32:23- Good use of props but I'd prefer something more contemporary.- OK.

0:32:23 > 0:32:26APPLAUSE

0:32:26 > 0:32:29Carrie, do you think it was the right song for their voices?

0:32:29 > 0:32:32I don't know that it was the wrong song, actually.

0:32:32 > 0:32:34I think that the challenge always

0:32:34 > 0:32:36when you've got lots of choreography

0:32:36 > 0:32:38is how you keep the vocal energy lower,

0:32:38 > 0:32:41so it stays nice and smooth with a song like that,

0:32:41 > 0:32:43whilst doing those punchy moves.

0:32:43 > 0:32:46For me, it was a little bit shouty.

0:32:46 > 0:32:48So the vocal sound was not so good

0:32:48 > 0:32:50but very entertaining and I must point out you.

0:32:50 > 0:32:53- You have a beautiful solo voice. - Thank you, Carrie.

0:32:53 > 0:32:55CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:32:55 > 0:32:58David, what did you like about that performance?

0:32:58 > 0:33:00What I liked about the performance was the fact that,

0:33:00 > 0:33:02as John pointed out, you look like a group.

0:33:02 > 0:33:04You're a Glee Club that look like a gang.

0:33:04 > 0:33:08You work together. You play to each other's strengths.

0:33:08 > 0:33:10What I think is different about this song

0:33:10 > 0:33:12is it had a different requirement to the first song.

0:33:12 > 0:33:14The first song required energy and swagger

0:33:14 > 0:33:17and attitude, which you have 100% of.

0:33:17 > 0:33:19What this song required,

0:33:19 > 0:33:23that you seemed unable to really give it fully, is warmth.

0:33:23 > 0:33:26I would love to hear you vocally working on how to sing

0:33:26 > 0:33:28within yourselves, not at 100%,

0:33:28 > 0:33:31and just blend and put warmth into a song.

0:33:31 > 0:33:33Thank you very much, Judges.

0:33:33 > 0:33:34CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:33:34 > 0:33:38- Not bad at all, guys. Are you happy with those comments?- All: Yes.

0:33:38 > 0:33:39- Well done, girls.- Props as well.

0:33:39 > 0:33:43Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Bittersweet!

0:33:43 > 0:33:44CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:33:47 > 0:33:48Bittersweet, come on over here.

0:33:48 > 0:33:50Top comments to you there, girls.

0:33:50 > 0:33:53Obviously coming across as great mates onstage. That's really good.

0:33:53 > 0:33:56Lovely comments about your beautiful solo voice, Danielle.

0:33:56 > 0:33:58- What do you think of that? - Yes, I was really happy.

0:33:58 > 0:34:01I think I was just in the moment.

0:34:01 > 0:34:05- You just want to do a good job and go all-out.- Well, you obviously did.

0:34:05 > 0:34:07Now, you have done all you can. How does it feel?

0:34:07 > 0:34:09There's nothing more you can do.

0:34:09 > 0:34:11Well, it feels really good to let it all out.

0:34:11 > 0:34:14We have been doing it for ages and we have worked really hard on it.

0:34:14 > 0:34:17Like, we will take the judges' criticism in

0:34:17 > 0:34:21- and, if we get through, then we will do what they say.- Excellent!

0:34:21 > 0:34:23Now, you clearly love your props.

0:34:23 > 0:34:24I was just wondering,

0:34:24 > 0:34:27if you get through to the next stage, what props are next?

0:34:27 > 0:34:32- Well, you'll just have to wait and find out.- A top-secret prop. Ooh!

0:34:32 > 0:34:36I like the sound of that. Please give a big cheer for Bittersweet.

0:34:36 > 0:34:37CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:34:39 > 0:34:42Thank you very much, Naomi. Our last act is from Milton Keynes.

0:34:42 > 0:34:47Did you know that "silent monkey" is an anagram of Milton Keynes?

0:34:47 > 0:34:49OK! Let's meet Allsorts.

0:34:51 > 0:34:53Good afternoon, everybody.

0:34:56 > 0:35:00Allsorts' journey began when they caught John's attention in London.

0:35:00 > 0:35:03Well done! Give yourselves a round of applause!

0:35:03 > 0:35:06And they carried on doing just that at the judges' auditions,

0:35:06 > 0:35:09with David and Dionne full of praise.

0:35:09 > 0:35:12# Like the bright sunlight burning down

0:35:12 > 0:35:15# Burning down on me... #

0:35:15 > 0:35:19The performance was there, the energy was there, the joy was there.

0:35:19 > 0:35:23I loved it. I absolutely loved it. You were giving all this sassiness.

0:35:23 > 0:35:25I was singing along with you.

0:35:25 > 0:35:27Can this all-girl group continue their journey

0:35:27 > 0:35:29all the way to the top five?

0:35:31 > 0:35:35How did you feel, walking into the studio for the first time?

0:35:35 > 0:35:38It was...overwhelming.

0:35:38 > 0:35:41What are you going to be thinking about as you are performing?

0:35:41 > 0:35:42Just to give it our all, really,

0:35:42 > 0:35:45because we worked so hard to be here and loads of energy

0:35:45 > 0:35:48because it requires loads of energy to do what we do.

0:35:48 > 0:35:50You say you are feeling "excitous"? What is that?

0:35:50 > 0:35:54- It is a cross between excited and nervous.- I love it!

0:35:54 > 0:35:56I get excitous as all the time.

0:35:56 > 0:36:01Our style is, like, bubbly, fresh and fierce.

0:36:01 > 0:36:02THEY LAUGH

0:36:02 > 0:36:05It just sums up who we are and what we want to show to the judges.

0:36:05 > 0:36:07And our costumes and that.

0:36:07 > 0:36:09We have tried so hard to impress the judges

0:36:09 > 0:36:13and this is what we love doing, so hopefully we can portray that.

0:36:13 > 0:36:17- We have worked really hard.- It is overwhelming just to be this far.

0:36:17 > 0:36:20- It is very special.- It has been a really good experience as well.

0:36:20 > 0:36:21CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:36:21 > 0:36:24They're our last act to perform for the judges.

0:36:24 > 0:36:27Let's hope they can add some valuable points to their score.

0:36:27 > 0:36:31Singing and dancing to Joyful, Joyful from Sister Act II...

0:36:31 > 0:36:33- Great film!- ..it's Allsorts!

0:36:33 > 0:36:35CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:37:35 > 0:37:37# Come and join the chorus

0:37:37 > 0:37:39# The mighty, mighty chorus

0:38:16 > 0:38:17Well done, guys.

0:38:17 > 0:38:21OK. Sisco, how does that performance compare to the others we've seen.

0:38:21 > 0:38:25Well, it's hard because you guys are really performance-based

0:38:25 > 0:38:28and you really used the movement to your advantage.

0:38:28 > 0:38:31Um...I have to say, I don't know your name, the first soloist?

0:38:31 > 0:38:34- Bethany. - Bethany, your voice is incredible.

0:38:34 > 0:38:37So crisp, so clear, so beautiful! Oh, it's amazing!

0:38:37 > 0:38:41Such a hard song cos it's iconic and I thought you guys did really good.

0:38:41 > 0:38:44- It's going to be really hard to choose.- Definitely.

0:38:44 > 0:38:47APPLAUSE

0:38:47 > 0:38:50Carrie, quite a gospel song, did you feel uplifted after that?

0:38:50 > 0:38:53I like the way... I didn't feel they did it in a particularly gospel way,

0:38:53 > 0:38:55which I thought was good. A bit of a twist on it.

0:38:55 > 0:39:00I have to agree with Sisco, what a great first solo! Beautiful!

0:39:11 > 0:39:13Actually, the title of that song

0:39:16 > 0:39:20- You just look really joyful up there and I enjoyed it.- Fantastic.

0:39:20 > 0:39:22CHEERS AND APPLAUSE

0:39:26 > 0:39:29It's amazing. Yes, it is a huge song

0:39:29 > 0:39:31and you starting, Bethany, was fantastic

0:39:31 > 0:39:34cos I think that solo was probably the best solo

0:39:34 > 0:39:37I've heard this series anyway, which is fantastic.

0:39:37 > 0:39:40And it's fantastic to see the different age groups.

0:39:40 > 0:39:43But the older girls don't eclipse the younger girls.

0:39:43 > 0:39:45You girls just are real fighters

0:39:45 > 0:39:48and you are right there right to the end and the momentum stayed there.

0:39:48 > 0:39:49Well done.

0:39:49 > 0:39:53APPLAUSE AND CHEERS

0:39:53 > 0:39:56Thank you very much, Judges. Give it up for Allsorts.

0:40:01 > 0:40:05That was wicked! You guys were doing the rapping thing.

0:40:05 > 0:40:08Do you think we could fool this audience into believing

0:40:08 > 0:40:09I was the ninth member?

0:40:09 > 0:40:11Because I feel like a sort of match.

0:40:11 > 0:40:14- Do you think we could pull the wool over their eyes?- Definitely.

0:40:14 > 0:40:16Just need some neon legwarmers.

0:40:16 > 0:40:21So, for John, Bethany, he said possibly the best solo this series.

0:40:21 > 0:40:25- What do you feel about that? - It just feels overwhelming.

0:40:25 > 0:40:27We've worked so hard to get here

0:40:27 > 0:40:30and it's amazing to hear that feedback because we all want

0:40:30 > 0:40:33to be in performing arts or singers and so that is incredible to hear.

0:40:33 > 0:40:35My mum will be happy about that!

0:40:35 > 0:40:38I was going to say, I bet all your family and friends
