0:06:21 > 0:06:24"Morning, Mouse. How's it going?"

0:06:24 > 0:06:27Mouse looked out into the bright morning sun,

0:06:27 > 0:06:30and realised the strange shape there

0:06:30 > 0:06:35was the familiar shape of a large and strange anteater called Bob.

0:06:35 > 0:06:37That's a funny name for an anteater.

0:06:43 > 0:06:44"What?" said Bob.

0:06:44 > 0:06:50"The noise!" said Mouse. "Oh, that noise," said Bob, and he grinned.

0:06:50 > 0:06:55Mouse looked up at him. When Bob said, "Ah," and grinned like that,

0:06:55 > 0:06:58it usually meant that Bob was up to something.

0:06:58 > 0:07:02"It might be something to do with these," said Bob,

0:07:02 > 0:07:05and pointed to the large springs tied to his feet.

0:07:05 > 0:07:08"And that," said Bob, pointing to the top of tree,

0:07:08 > 0:07:14where one great big red apple was hanging from the branch.

0:07:14 > 0:07:16Bob was an anteater who loved apples.

0:07:16 > 0:07:20He'd eaten all the apples on the tree except this one.

0:07:24 > 0:07:26Boing, boing, ker-whump!

0:07:26 > 0:07:28"Ah!" said Mouse.

0:07:28 > 0:07:30Bob lay on the ground rubbing his nose.

0:07:30 > 0:07:34Mouse looked at him and said, "I can help."

0:07:34 > 0:07:38"You?!" said Bob, jumping up. "How can you reach that apple?

0:07:38 > 0:07:42"I'm bigger than you, and with this bouncer, I'm sure I can."

0:07:42 > 0:07:45Boing, boing, ker-whump!

0:07:45 > 0:07:47"I'm sure I can help," said Mouse.

0:07:47 > 0:07:52"How can you reach that apple? I'm much bigger than you,

0:07:52 > 0:07:55"and with this jumpy thing, I'm sure I can."

0:07:55 > 0:07:59"I really can help if you let me try," said Mouse.

0:07:59 > 0:08:04"Thanks," said Bob, "but that apple is up there and you're very small."

0:08:04 > 0:08:06He likes apples as much as I do.

0:08:06 > 0:08:10Mouse stepped back as Bob bounced.

0:08:10 > 0:08:13He bounced left, and right, and up and up.

0:08:13 > 0:08:16Then he bounced into the tree with a big crash!

0:08:16 > 0:08:20Bob lay in a heap and rubbed his nose.

0:08:20 > 0:08:23He looked up at the apple in the tree.

0:08:23 > 0:08:25"I know I can help," said Mouse.

0:08:25 > 0:08:28"But..." said Bob, but Mouse shh-ed him,

0:08:28 > 0:08:33and scampered up the trunk, along the branch and leaned out above Bob.

0:08:33 > 0:08:37"Careful!" said Bob. Mouse bit through the apple stem,

0:08:37 > 0:08:42and to Bob's delight, the big juicy apple fell down, down,

0:08:42 > 0:08:44right onto Bob's nose.

0:08:44 > 0:08:46Bump!

0:08:46 > 0:08:48"Brilliant," said Bob.

0:08:48 > 0:08:52Mouse scampered back down the tree to Bob.

0:08:52 > 0:08:56"You know, Mouse, I'm sure I probably..." Bob paused.

0:08:56 > 0:09:00Mouse looked at Bob. "..couldn't have done it without you.

0:09:00 > 0:09:03"Would you like some?" "Don't mind if I do."

0:09:03 > 0:09:08They cheerfully shared a slightly late but very tasty apple breakfast.
