0:00:51 > 0:00:53PLAYS GUITAR

0:00:58 > 0:01:00OK, you're going to take your index finger

0:01:00 > 0:01:02and put it on the smallest string on the guitar,

0:01:02 > 0:01:04which is the E string, on the fifth fret.

0:01:04 > 0:01:08- The frets are the lines across the neck on the guitar.- OK.

0:01:08 > 0:01:10And with your right hand,

0:01:10 > 0:01:12tap with your middle finger

0:01:12 > 0:01:14on the 12th fret, OK, like this.

0:01:16 > 0:01:20Right hand, middle finger on the 12th fret, got it.

0:01:20 > 0:01:22At the same time, you see little pinky there?

0:01:22 > 0:01:25Press on and off the string on the eighth fret.

0:01:25 > 0:01:29OK, so put your pinky, also known as the little finger,

0:01:29 > 0:01:31- on the eighth fret. - So let's see how it works.

0:01:31 > 0:01:33PLAYS NOTES

0:01:39 > 0:01:42Ooh, that sounds lovely. But...what's the endgame?

0:01:44 > 0:01:46Start slow, build up your speed,

0:01:46 > 0:01:50and once you're comfortable with it, you can do something like this.

0:01:50 > 0:01:52PLAYS NOTES AT SPEED

0:01:53 > 0:01:54Whoa, hang on, there!

0:01:54 > 0:01:58That is brilliant, but it might take a while to get THAT good, though.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03And that's how you do tapping on the electric guitar.

0:02:03 > 0:02:05Thanks, Herman!

0:02:05 > 0:02:08On we go. Ever needed the loo? Yes.

0:02:08 > 0:02:11Don't want the whole room to know you need a wee? Obviously.

0:02:11 > 0:02:13Well, try some toilet-based sign language.

0:02:13 > 0:02:16Hi, I'm Matt.

0:02:16 > 0:02:20And I'm going to tell you how to sign "I need the toilet".

0:02:20 > 0:02:23This guy is a sign-tastic superstar. Watch and learn.

0:02:23 > 0:02:25Firstly, it's important to know

0:02:25 > 0:02:27in sign language, they drop loads of words.

0:02:27 > 0:02:31- So "I need the toilet" essentially becomes, "Toilet where?"- OK.

0:02:31 > 0:02:34The first word is toilet and to do this you take your middle finger

0:02:34 > 0:02:37- and rub it on the right side of your chest.- Understood.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40The next word is where, and all you have to do to sign this

0:02:40 > 0:02:43is put your hands out in front of you and wave them around in circles.

0:02:43 > 0:02:46- Dead easy.- Put them together and it looks like this.

0:02:48 > 0:02:51And that is how to sign "I need the toilet".

0:02:51 > 0:02:56Yeah, but Matt, I actually do need the loo. Where is it?

0:02:56 > 0:03:00OK, this next one will have all your mates cracking up.

0:03:01 > 0:03:04Hi, I'm Debra Stephenson and I'm going to show you

0:03:04 > 0:03:05how to be epic at impression.

0:03:05 > 0:03:09Sounds good to me, Debra. Tell us more.

0:03:09 > 0:03:12If you want to do an impression of someone,

0:03:12 > 0:03:13you need to study them really carefully.

0:03:13 > 0:03:15It's not just the voice you're looking for,

0:03:15 > 0:03:18it's all sorts of things. So let's break it down.

0:03:18 > 0:03:23- Mannerisms are important to look for. Stacey Solomon.- For a second time.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26- I know. - What you have to do is this. "Oh!

0:03:26 > 0:03:31- "Oh, I can't believe it."- OK, Debra, what else should we be doing?

0:03:31 > 0:03:33Don't forget to look for the accent.

0:03:33 > 0:03:36It seems obvious but if someone has a regional accent,

0:03:36 > 0:03:39that gives you something definite to work with.

0:03:39 > 0:03:40Somebody like Cheryl Cole, for instance.

0:03:40 > 0:03:44Playing to Newcastle was always a childhood dream of mine.

0:03:44 > 0:03:47Practise saying, Cheryl Cole's soul.

0:03:47 > 0:03:51That was amazing, you totally nailed that.

0:03:51 > 0:03:55Look out for catchphrases and key words cos that makes things easier.

0:03:55 > 0:03:59For instance, Tess Daley always says, "Keep dancing!"

0:03:59 > 0:04:02Keep dancing!

0:04:02 > 0:04:05Finally, look out for any minor speech impediments

0:04:05 > 0:04:07such as a lisp or a lazy R.

0:04:07 > 0:04:10If you have a lisp and a lazy R and you put it back in your throat

0:04:10 > 0:04:13and you have a Northern accent as well,

0:04:13 > 0:04:17with an enthusiastic personality, all of a sudden you have Helen Skelton.

0:04:17 > 0:04:20It's everything rolled into one. Good luck!

0:04:20 > 0:04:22Let me tell you a secret.

0:04:22 > 0:04:25Well done, Debra, you can have a Blue Peter badge for that.

0:04:25 > 0:04:28That is how to be epic at impressions.

0:04:28 > 0:04:33Thanks, Debra. So there you have it. Your quick blast of epicness.

0:04:33 > 0:04:37Now go forth and be epic at everything!
