0:01:12 > 0:01:15This trick works because the two cards that you started with,
0:01:15 > 0:01:17the eight of spades and the nine of clubs,
0:01:17 > 0:01:20are not the two cards that you end with -
0:01:20 > 0:01:22the eight of clubs and the nine of spades.
0:01:22 > 0:01:24And the beauty of this trick is the audience never even
0:01:24 > 0:01:27- realise they switch.- Sneaky.
0:01:27 > 0:01:30The first thing you need to do is go through the deck and take out the
0:01:30 > 0:01:32eight of spades and the nine of clubs,
0:01:32 > 0:01:34and the eight of clubs and the nine of spades.
0:01:34 > 0:01:37Then you need to take the eight of clubs and place it face down
0:01:37 > 0:01:41on the top of the deck, and the nine of spades on the bottom of the deck.
0:01:41 > 0:01:44- Got it so far. - Then place the nine of clubs
0:01:44 > 0:01:46and the eight of spades face down on the table,
0:01:46 > 0:01:47and you're ready to start.
0:01:47 > 0:01:51Remember, do this bit before your audience arrive.
