0:14:31 > 0:14:32Then check this out.

0:14:37 > 0:14:40Hey, I'm Herman Li, guitarist of the band Dragonforce,

0:14:40 > 0:14:42and this is how to be epic on the rock guitar.

0:14:45 > 0:14:47Rock on, man!

0:14:47 > 0:14:51To really rock, you need an electric guitar and an amplifier.

0:14:51 > 0:14:54First, let's get the right height on the guitar strap.

0:14:54 > 0:14:58You don't want the strap too high - you want it around waist height,

0:14:58 > 0:14:59so we can really rock out.

0:15:01 > 0:15:05Right, we've got the kit - we're ready to rock!

0:15:05 > 0:15:09- But how do you play?- Let's start with playing an epic A minor chord.

0:15:09 > 0:15:11- Ooh!- With your index finger,

0:15:11 > 0:15:14press on the top string here, on the fifth fret.

0:15:14 > 0:15:18The frets are the lines across the neck.

0:15:18 > 0:15:20And two frets down, on the string below,

0:15:20 > 0:15:22use your ring finger and press it down.

0:15:22 > 0:15:24Hold the pick with the right hand.

0:15:24 > 0:15:26You use your index finger and your thumb.

0:15:26 > 0:15:30Strum down on the two strings of the frets which you're holding.

0:15:33 > 0:15:37To play a basic rock chord, you put your index finger on the top string,

0:15:37 > 0:15:40and then your ring finger two frets up.

0:15:40 > 0:15:43- CHORD PLAYS - Et voila - a rock sound!

0:15:43 > 0:15:46Once you're comfortable with this, you can move your fingers up and

0:15:46 > 0:15:49down the neck to play all different kind of chords - look at this.

0:15:55 > 0:15:57With enough practice, using the same chords,

0:15:57 > 0:15:59you can do something like this.

0:15:59 > 0:16:03HE PLAYS A ROCK RIFF

0:16:03 > 0:16:06Now, that's how you become epic on the rock guitar.

0:16:08 > 0:16:09Cheers, mate!

0:16:11 > 0:16:12Right, onto the next,

0:16:12 > 0:16:15and this one is going to make you look totally cool

0:16:15 > 0:16:17on the basketball court!

0:16:19 > 0:16:22And we've got a four-time Paralympian from Team GB

0:16:22 > 0:16:24to show you how to do it.

0:16:25 > 0:16:29I'm Terry Bywater. I play wheelchair basketball for Great Britain,

0:16:29 > 0:16:32- and this is how to spin a ball on your finger.- Epic!

0:16:32 > 0:16:35Firstly, find a comfortable way to hold the ball -

0:16:35 > 0:16:37I have two hands on either side, like this -

0:16:37 > 0:16:39to spin...

0:16:39 > 0:16:41OK - that looks easy enough.

0:16:41 > 0:16:44The faster the ball spins, the easier it is to land on your finger.

0:16:46 > 0:16:49When the ball's spinning, allow the ball to find your finger.

0:16:49 > 0:16:53Keep your finger really steady, and this will keep the ball rotating.

0:16:53 > 0:16:54Still sounds easy...

0:16:54 > 0:16:55To keep the ball spinning,

0:16:55 > 0:16:58you just need to keep tapping the side of the ball.

0:16:59 > 0:17:02With a bit of practice, you're going to be able

0:17:02 > 0:17:04to spin the ball for as long as you like.

0:17:04 > 0:17:06And that's how to spin a basketball on your finger.

0:17:08 > 0:17:11If you thought that was epic, then wait for this - it's tap-dancing,

0:17:11 > 0:17:14which is definitely a lot more epic than dancing...

0:17:14 > 0:17:16with a tap.

0:17:18 > 0:17:20Hi. I'm Naomi Wilkinson, and I'm going to teach you

0:17:20 > 0:17:22how to...tap-dance!

0:17:25 > 0:17:28To begin with, you're going to need a pair of tap shoes

0:17:28 > 0:17:31and obviously, a hard floor so you can hear your taps.

0:17:31 > 0:17:34Tap shoes are made with metal plates on the toes and heels

0:17:34 > 0:17:38so they make sounds as they hit the floor.

0:17:38 > 0:17:40Hard floor and noisy footwear - got it.

0:17:40 > 0:17:43So let's...get moving!

0:17:43 > 0:17:45I'm going to show you how to do a shuffle ball change.

0:17:45 > 0:17:47Shu-ffle

0:17:47 > 0:17:48ball change.

0:17:48 > 0:17:50A shuffle is simply two taps -

0:17:50 > 0:17:52a simple forwards

0:17:52 > 0:17:53and backwards tap,

0:17:53 > 0:17:57all using the front, or the ball, of your foot -

0:17:57 > 0:17:59like this. Shu-ffle.

0:17:59 > 0:18:01Once you've got the hang of the shuffle,

0:18:01 > 0:18:02you can move onto the ball change.

0:18:02 > 0:18:05Again, it's just making two very simple sounds,

0:18:05 > 0:18:07the first one with the ball of your right foot,

0:18:07 > 0:18:09slightly behind... TAP

0:18:09 > 0:18:11Then the ball of the left foot... TAP

0:18:11 > 0:18:13Ball change!

0:18:13 > 0:18:15Now, put those two moves together.

0:18:15 > 0:18:18Shu-ffle ball change.

0:18:18 > 0:18:22Shu-ffle ball change.

0:18:22 > 0:18:24Once you've got the hang of that, speed it up!

0:18:24 > 0:18:26Shu-ffle ball change, shu-ffle ball change,

0:18:26 > 0:18:28shu-ffle ball change, shu-ffle ball change.
