0:00:13 > 0:00:15Scorpion Island.
0:00:15 > 0:00:19Isolated in the vast depths of a wild and brutal ocean.
0:00:21 > 0:00:23There are only two ways to reach its shore -
0:00:23 > 0:00:29by air, or, for the very brave, via the ferocious sea.
0:00:30 > 0:00:33Ten daring adventurers are about to experience
0:00:33 > 0:00:35the challenge of their lives.
0:00:35 > 0:00:37- Faster, faster!- It's hard.- Yes!
0:00:37 > 0:00:42- That's enough! Bring it up! Bring it up!- Don't throw it, Zach. No!
0:00:42 > 0:00:44We have got to try our best.
0:00:44 > 0:00:46- Are you ready?- Ready!
0:00:46 > 0:00:48- Ohh!- Yes!
0:00:48 > 0:00:50There will be conflict...
0:00:50 > 0:00:53Someone has to tell them what they're doing is wrong.
0:00:53 > 0:00:55Maybe it's time that somebody else had a go.
0:00:55 > 0:00:58Shall we just move on from this and set it aside now?
0:00:58 > 0:01:02But just when they think they're about to conquer the island
0:01:02 > 0:01:05it will find devastating ways to sabotage their mission...
0:01:05 > 0:01:08- What?!- What?
0:01:08 > 0:01:10..to Escape From Scorpion Island!
0:01:40 > 0:01:42Hello, welcome to Scorpion Island.
0:01:42 > 0:01:47I'm Myleene. This time the island has a really big sting in its tail.
0:01:47 > 0:01:50I'm Johny and, in just a moment, ten brave adventurers
0:01:50 > 0:01:53will be arriving on the island, to take on its terrifying challenges
0:01:53 > 0:01:55and devious twists and turns.
0:01:55 > 0:01:57Of course, they'll make some new friends
0:01:57 > 0:01:59and, no doubt, some enemies, along the way.
0:01:59 > 0:02:01Scorpion Island never lets up.
0:02:01 > 0:02:03Their time here will push them to the edge.
0:02:03 > 0:02:05It's going to be a real test.
0:02:07 > 0:02:10The waters around Scorpion Island are treacherous,
0:02:10 > 0:02:13filled with intimidating and deadly creatures.
0:02:15 > 0:02:20The ten new adventurers are totally unaware of what they're up against,
0:02:20 > 0:02:23as they prepare to make their way towards Scorpion Island.
0:02:24 > 0:02:28They will be racing high above the murky depths of the ocean,
0:02:28 > 0:02:30across the treacherous, unknown waters.
0:02:30 > 0:02:32Who knows what will lurk beneath them?
0:02:32 > 0:02:35A launch boat is taking the adventurers
0:02:35 > 0:02:37to an unknown destination.
0:02:40 > 0:02:42They're boarding rescue speed boats
0:02:42 > 0:02:45and getting ready to race against the powerful currents.
0:02:45 > 0:02:46But for one adventurer,
0:02:46 > 0:02:49the thought of facing the raging seas is terrifying.
0:02:50 > 0:02:53I'm really nervous about going on the boats today,
0:02:53 > 0:02:56because when I've looked at them I've thought,
0:02:56 > 0:02:58"That looks really unstable
0:02:58 > 0:03:00"and I don't really want to do that."
0:03:00 > 0:03:02So, I'm feeling really nervous about it,
0:03:02 > 0:03:05but I really want to conquer my fear and go on one.
0:03:05 > 0:03:09But this frightening, yet exciting, journey to Scorpion Island
0:03:09 > 0:03:14is challenging other adventurers. They must face their fears, too.
0:03:14 > 0:03:18The thing about water that I'm so nervous about is I feel like,
0:03:18 > 0:03:21when I look in the water, all I see is something blue
0:03:21 > 0:03:25and when I stare down, I just feel like I'm going to fall into it.
0:03:28 > 0:03:32I'm new to swimming. I haven't really been swimming a lot,
0:03:32 > 0:03:36before I knew I was coming to Scorpion Island.
0:03:37 > 0:03:40Because the crashing waves are too aggressive for the launch boat,
0:03:40 > 0:03:42it must leave the adventurers isolated
0:03:42 > 0:03:45in the middle of the turbulent waters.
0:03:45 > 0:03:49They must ready themselves for the final stage of their journey,
0:03:49 > 0:03:52through the ocean barrier that protects the island.
0:03:52 > 0:03:54They're going to need to hold on tight.
0:03:54 > 0:03:57They're about to face the ride of their lives.
0:04:01 > 0:04:04THEY SCREAM
0:04:04 > 0:04:07It's very choppy today, so that boat is going up and down.
0:04:07 > 0:04:09I can hear the screams from here!
0:04:09 > 0:04:13They must be torn between terror and exhilaration,
0:04:13 > 0:04:17to be racing this fast knowing they might fall in at any moment.
0:04:21 > 0:04:23Some of our adventurers are confident.
0:04:23 > 0:04:27I'm fearless and nothing about Scorpion Island scares me.
0:04:27 > 0:04:29I'm really good at skiing and I've started snowboarding
0:04:29 > 0:04:33and that's helped with my balance and my co-ordination.
0:04:37 > 0:04:38I'm not worried about going.
0:04:38 > 0:04:40I'm going to do my best when I go there
0:04:40 > 0:04:45and I think that this is maybe a good way to express myself.
0:04:48 > 0:04:53Others may be worried, but they are ready for a new adventure.
0:04:54 > 0:04:56I've never left Wales before,
0:04:56 > 0:05:00except for once, when I went to Lapland with my mum and dad,
0:05:00 > 0:05:02then I've never been out of Wales before.
0:05:02 > 0:05:03But I should be OK.
0:05:06 > 0:05:09I'm worried about Scorpion Island,
0:05:09 > 0:05:14because Scorpion Island is mischief and just throws things
0:05:14 > 0:05:16out of the blue at you.
0:05:22 > 0:05:26Scorpion Island means an adventure. I want to achieve something
0:05:26 > 0:05:27and, hopefully, win.
0:05:33 > 0:05:36I don't know how to explain it, but I get worried
0:05:36 > 0:05:38that I'm going to let my team down in certain things.
0:05:45 > 0:05:47Going to Scorpion Island scares me a little bit,
0:05:47 > 0:05:52because I'm not going there with any parents or the people
0:05:52 > 0:05:54that I'm with I've only met once,
0:05:54 > 0:05:56so it's, sort of, like a trust issue,
0:05:56 > 0:05:58but I'm sure, as soon as I get there,
0:05:58 > 0:06:00within the first two days, I'll be fine.
0:06:01 > 0:06:04THEY SCREAM
0:06:08 > 0:06:14They're approaching the beach, ready to take on Scorpion Island.
0:06:14 > 0:06:17Legend is about to be re-written.
0:06:17 > 0:06:18THEY SCREAM
0:06:20 > 0:06:21Amazing!
0:06:25 > 0:06:26This is awesome!
0:06:26 > 0:06:29THEY CHEER
0:06:36 > 0:06:38And they've done it! They've arrived.
0:06:44 > 0:06:47That was the best fun I've ever had in my whole entire life.
0:06:47 > 0:06:48I'm so glad I didn't chicken out.
0:06:50 > 0:06:53And that was so much fun. I loved that!
0:06:55 > 0:07:01Woooo! Ah ha ha ha ha!
0:07:06 > 0:07:09Welcome to Scorpion Island.
0:07:09 > 0:07:11You've been selected because you are the best
0:07:11 > 0:07:14and you're the only ones who can take on the island.
0:07:14 > 0:07:16You're going to be following the trail
0:07:16 > 0:07:18of the mysterious fortune hunter.
0:07:18 > 0:07:22He came to the island and plundered the island's treasure.
0:07:22 > 0:07:24However, he didn't manage to escape the island
0:07:24 > 0:07:26and has since disappeared.
0:07:28 > 0:07:33Scorpion Island relishes in its splendid isolation
0:07:33 > 0:07:37and uses its natural world as its impenetrable defence system.
0:07:39 > 0:07:41Its virtually impossible ocean and shore
0:07:41 > 0:07:46gives way to its dangerous jungles, thick swampy lagoons,
0:07:46 > 0:07:48exotic plants and creatures.
0:07:50 > 0:07:52The island is alive.
0:07:55 > 0:07:58Our ten adventurers are not the first to take on the island.
0:07:58 > 0:08:04In recent times, an adventurer came from far across the seas.
0:08:04 > 0:08:06He was a fortune hunter, whose mission it was
0:08:06 > 0:08:10to plunder the island of its legendary treasure -
0:08:10 > 0:08:12the treasure that represents its precious life.
0:08:19 > 0:08:24He took on the island's challenges, succeeded and won all the treasure.
0:08:26 > 0:08:29But he failed in his final escape.
0:08:30 > 0:08:33As an ultimate act of revenge, the furious island
0:08:33 > 0:08:36threw the treasures deep into its dense jungles
0:08:36 > 0:08:40and mischievously captured the fortune hunter's spirit
0:08:40 > 0:08:41and locked it away.
0:08:41 > 0:08:45'Ahhhgggggghhhhh!'
0:08:49 > 0:08:52His legacy remains scattered across the island.
0:09:01 > 0:09:04But now the island is more guarded than ever
0:09:04 > 0:09:08and our ten new adventurers must follow the path that he created.
0:09:09 > 0:09:13So, guys, the island has hidden the treasure, once more.
0:09:13 > 0:09:14It's up to you to find it.
0:09:14 > 0:09:18You're going to be split up into two teams.
0:09:18 > 0:09:22It's up to your team to find an island treasure each day.
0:09:22 > 0:09:25The more island treasure you find, the better your chances
0:09:25 > 0:09:27of escaping Scorpion Island.
0:09:27 > 0:09:30The island is trying to communicate with you right now.
0:09:30 > 0:09:31I don't know if you can see,
0:09:31 > 0:09:33over there are a bunch of bottles
0:09:33 > 0:09:35with a message in it from the island.
0:09:35 > 0:09:38What I want you to do is go over to the bottles
0:09:38 > 0:09:40and find your own message.
0:09:40 > 0:09:42What you waiting for? Off you go!
0:09:47 > 0:09:51Each bottle contains a parchment with a name of an adventurer.
0:09:51 > 0:09:56The number 1 or 2 and a unique, mysterious symbol.
0:09:56 > 0:09:59What could the island be trying to tell them?
0:10:02 > 0:10:06- I've got 1! Who's got 2? - I've got a shell.
0:10:06 > 0:10:09What does 2 mean? What does 2 mean?
0:10:09 > 0:10:13- I don't know, but I've got 1. - It's a map! It's a map!
0:10:14 > 0:10:18- Maybe the way to the treasure is when we find each symbol.- Yeah.
0:10:18 > 0:10:21I've got an idea. The challenges -
0:10:21 > 0:10:24there could be symbols on the wall, and whatever one lights up,
0:10:24 > 0:10:27it's that person who's doing the challenge.
0:10:30 > 0:10:33Come in, then, guys. Come in, come in, come in.
0:10:33 > 0:10:35Have you all got your parchments? Yeah? OK.
0:10:35 > 0:10:39Now, on your parchment you should have a number - 1 or 2.
0:10:41 > 0:10:43Will Team One please stand to my left.
0:10:48 > 0:10:49And Team Two to my right.
0:10:51 > 0:10:53As you can see, guys,
0:10:53 > 0:10:58for the first time ever, the island has decided its boys against girls.
0:10:58 > 0:11:00Yes!
0:11:02 > 0:11:06After defeating the fortune hunter, the island made its defences
0:11:06 > 0:11:07stronger than ever before.
0:11:07 > 0:11:11And, in an attempt to surprise the unexpecting adventurers,
0:11:11 > 0:11:13for the first time in Scorpion history,
0:11:13 > 0:11:17it's a battle of boys versus girls.
0:11:17 > 0:11:21But who's going to be their first team captain? It's decision time.
0:11:21 > 0:11:24- Well, have you decided on team captains?- Yep.
0:11:24 > 0:11:27- OK, so who's going to be team captain for the boys?- Me.
0:11:27 > 0:11:30- Zach. OK, are you ready to lead your team into battle?- Yes!
0:11:30 > 0:11:33- Feeling confident? - Yes, I don't want to lose.
0:11:33 > 0:11:35OK, good on you, good luck.
0:11:35 > 0:11:38- Girls, have you decided on a team captain?- Lizzie!
0:11:38 > 0:11:40- Are you feeling confident?- Yep.
0:11:40 > 0:11:42- Do you think you can take on Zach? - Yes.
0:11:42 > 0:11:45We can take them on any day!
0:11:45 > 0:11:47Brilliant, so everyone's feeling very confident,
0:11:47 > 0:11:50but this might switch things up a little bit.
0:11:50 > 0:11:52On your parchments, you should also have a symbol.
0:11:52 > 0:11:55- Have you noticed that?- Yeah.
0:11:55 > 0:11:58You'll find that, throughout your island life,
0:11:58 > 0:12:00these symbols will be quite important.
0:12:00 > 0:12:02In fact, they're very important now,
0:12:02 > 0:12:05because in this bag I have ten symbols
0:12:05 > 0:12:08and I'm going to pick one out and if it's your symbol,
0:12:08 > 0:12:13you'll get to choose who goes first in today's island challenge.
0:12:14 > 0:12:16Who has this symbol?
0:12:19 > 0:12:20Peter, you have this symbol.
0:12:20 > 0:12:23That means you get the choice of who goes first
0:12:23 > 0:12:25in the island challenge. This is important.
0:12:25 > 0:12:28I'm going to give you a few seconds to talk amongst yourselves.
0:12:28 > 0:12:31Let's go second. If we get to watch or something...
0:12:31 > 0:12:32Let's go second.
0:12:32 > 0:12:38- First.- Second, second, second.- So we can see how the girls are going on.
0:12:38 > 0:12:41Come on then, guys. I'm going to have to rush you.
0:12:41 > 0:12:42Zach, you took the lead.
0:12:42 > 0:12:44Have you made a decision together?
0:12:44 > 0:12:48Yeah, second. So that way we can see the girls, see what they're like
0:12:48 > 0:12:50and, hopefully, beat them by more.
0:12:50 > 0:12:54- Very clever. See how the girls fail, that's what you are hoping?- Yes.
0:12:54 > 0:12:56How do you feel about that girls, going first?
0:12:56 > 0:12:59We feel all right, but a bit annoyed.
0:12:59 > 0:13:01Guys, it is time for your first island challenge.
0:13:01 > 0:13:05So I suggest you all run off and go and join Myleene in the jungle.
0:13:05 > 0:13:06Off you, go on, guys.
0:13:06 > 0:13:09Who'll win today's challenge? It's all to play for.
0:13:13 > 0:13:17As they prepare to play the first round of the island challenge,
0:13:17 > 0:13:19let's get to know the girls.
0:13:19 > 0:13:20Khadie.
0:13:20 > 0:13:23I do football a lot,
0:13:23 > 0:13:27so I have to do training two times a week.
0:13:27 > 0:13:30And because I'm the youngest in that group, its quite hard,
0:13:30 > 0:13:32so I have to keep up with them.
0:13:32 > 0:13:33Natty.
0:13:33 > 0:13:36When I'm all fired up and stuff I get a bit pushy.
0:13:36 > 0:13:38Like, when you're on a netball court
0:13:38 > 0:13:40and you're really going for it.
0:13:40 > 0:13:42You start pushing the other team around, you know,
0:13:42 > 0:13:43trying to get the ball.
0:13:43 > 0:13:46So I do get a bit carried away like that.
0:13:46 > 0:13:50But I'll try my hardest on Scorpion Island not to get too carried away.
0:13:50 > 0:13:51Eleanor.
0:13:51 > 0:13:54At school, I'm the oldest of my little group of friends
0:13:54 > 0:13:58and I'm quite good at bossing people around, but I think that
0:13:58 > 0:14:00I like everyone to be happy what they're doing.
0:14:00 > 0:14:02Lizzie.
0:14:02 > 0:14:06If I was chosen for the challenge I would just focus hard.
0:14:06 > 0:14:11Because I'm profoundly deaf, I have to wear a cochlea implant,
0:14:11 > 0:14:13but that makes me listen to people instead.
0:14:13 > 0:14:18I've learned to lip-read from such a young age - since I was
0:14:18 > 0:14:23one and a half - so I've had the practice all these years,
0:14:23 > 0:14:25so I've got better at it.
0:14:25 > 0:14:28I lip-read people by the movement of their lips, like,
0:14:28 > 0:14:33even though I can't hear them. I just look at the movement of it
0:14:33 > 0:14:36and then I can know the words.
0:14:36 > 0:14:37And Jeremy.
0:14:37 > 0:14:40If I have an opinion I will put it forward.
0:14:40 > 0:14:46Sometimes I get into arguments, cos sometimes I like things my own way.
0:14:46 > 0:14:48So, when I have feelings, I kind of put them forward.
0:14:48 > 0:14:51Other people might take it nastily and sometimes
0:14:51 > 0:14:55you have little arguments, but I always make sure that they know
0:14:55 > 0:14:58it wasn't really to mean anything mean to them.
0:15:03 > 0:15:07So, it's time to reveal the island's first treasure, The Silver Eagle.
0:15:11 > 0:15:14The eagle represents Freedom, from the island,
0:15:14 > 0:15:18something that both our teams want but the fortune hunter was denied.
0:15:22 > 0:15:24First up, it's the girls.
0:15:24 > 0:15:26That's Eleanor...
0:15:26 > 0:15:28Natty...
0:15:28 > 0:15:29Khadie...
0:15:29 > 0:15:32Jeremy...
0:15:32 > 0:15:34and today's captain, Lizzie.
0:15:37 > 0:15:40This is Chasm Of Chaos.
0:15:42 > 0:15:46In the heart of the island is a huge ravine, with two crossings.
0:15:46 > 0:15:51Lower down is a flimsy bridge, on which four team members will stand,
0:15:51 > 0:15:52holding coloured nets.
0:15:54 > 0:15:57More than three storeys high is a precarious cable
0:15:57 > 0:16:00and the team captains will have to make their way across this,
0:16:00 > 0:16:03with nothing more than hoops and monkey bars for balance.
0:16:04 > 0:16:08Strapped to the edge of the wobbly platforms are four coloured cogs,
0:16:08 > 0:16:12which the captains have to detach one at a time and drop down
0:16:12 > 0:16:15into the matching coloured nets as quickly as possible.
0:16:15 > 0:16:18If a cog misses a net, or is otherwise lost,
0:16:18 > 0:16:22the captain has to head all the way across to the end platform,
0:16:22 > 0:16:24where there are two spares of each colour.
0:16:24 > 0:16:27So they have got three chances at each drop,
0:16:27 > 0:16:30but, of course, the more they use up, the more time is wasted.
0:16:30 > 0:16:34And the team which catches the right cogs in all four of their nets
0:16:34 > 0:16:38and then gets their captain onto the end platform the quickest, wins.
0:16:40 > 0:16:42They're playing for the first island treasure,
0:16:42 > 0:16:46The Silver Eagle, because the more treasures they win,
0:16:46 > 0:16:49the greater the advantage they'll have in the final race to escape.
0:16:53 > 0:16:56The boys have chosen to take this challenge on second,
0:16:56 > 0:16:58so they can watch the girls and learn from their tactics.
0:16:58 > 0:17:03It could be a real advantage when they take on the Chasm Of Chaos.
0:17:03 > 0:17:06OK, girls, are you ready?
0:17:06 > 0:17:07Yeah!
0:17:07 > 0:17:11Three, two, one, go!
0:17:13 > 0:17:15Lizzie's wasting no time grabbing the red cog.
0:17:15 > 0:17:18- It's got to go into Khadie's red net.- To me, Lizzie!
0:17:20 > 0:17:21As quick as you can!
0:17:21 > 0:17:24They're asking her to get across to Khadie faster,
0:17:24 > 0:17:26but it's not easy at such a height.
0:17:26 > 0:17:28Lizzie is around five metres above the rest of the girls
0:17:28 > 0:17:32and they're already two storeys off the bottom of the chasm.
0:17:33 > 0:17:36So, with that in mind, Lizzie's moving impressively quickly
0:17:36 > 0:17:39and it's already giving the boys some ideas for their turn.
0:17:39 > 0:17:43I need to go down to whoever's holding that net and drop it in.
0:17:43 > 0:17:47- Do what they're doing. - Brilliant! Right, you ready?
0:17:47 > 0:17:48Bring it in a bit!
0:17:48 > 0:17:52So, Lizzie's in place, trying to gauge the perfect drop.
0:17:52 > 0:17:54At this height, it's so difficult.
0:17:54 > 0:17:56Please drop it, please drop it.
0:17:56 > 0:17:59- I'm not sure.- Try! Just try!
0:17:59 > 0:18:00And here she goes.
0:18:00 > 0:18:02Go!
0:18:02 > 0:18:03- Oh, no.- Yes!
0:18:03 > 0:18:05Oh, Khadie missed it.
0:18:05 > 0:18:08Lizzie makes great time in getting in position for her first drop
0:18:08 > 0:18:11and Khadie seemed braced for the catch
0:18:11 > 0:18:15but Lizzie's aim is off and it just plummets past Khadie's net.
0:18:15 > 0:18:18Unlucky, but is it just the practise shot the girls needed?
0:18:19 > 0:18:24- Go again! Get a yellow!- Get the blue one. Get the blue, go on, quickly!
0:18:24 > 0:18:28- OK, I've got the yellow. - She's got a yellow. Yeah.
0:18:28 > 0:18:30That's a good idea. Instead of going back to get blue
0:18:30 > 0:18:33- and then over here... - Yeah, get the closest one.
0:18:33 > 0:18:36Come on, you're doing really well.
0:18:36 > 0:18:39Everyone seems to think this is a good tactic from Lizzie, but can
0:18:39 > 0:18:42she get the yellow cog in Natty's yellow net at the end of the bridge?
0:18:42 > 0:18:46She is moving so quickly across those ropes.
0:18:46 > 0:18:47The blue. Drop it in Natty's
0:18:47 > 0:18:49and then get the blue coming back.
0:18:49 > 0:18:52- The hard bit is trying to catch them.- Yeah.
0:18:52 > 0:18:54The boys think they're learning a lot here.
0:18:54 > 0:18:57Now, are they about to find out how to make a successful catch?
0:18:59 > 0:19:02- Go... Go!- Ready?
0:19:04 > 0:19:06- Oohh!- Missed!
0:19:06 > 0:19:10Lizzie takes a long time to aim this cog,
0:19:10 > 0:19:13but it bounces off the edge of Natty's net,
0:19:13 > 0:19:14it was certainly closer,
0:19:14 > 0:19:17but it's still two drops, two misses, for the girls.
0:19:17 > 0:19:18They really need to improve.
0:19:22 > 0:19:23- Line it up before you drop.- Yeah.
0:19:25 > 0:19:27Lizzy's collected the blue cog,
0:19:27 > 0:19:31but she can't afford to let the pressure get to her.
0:19:31 > 0:19:35Go. Go, quickly! Jeremy's got it, quickly!
0:19:35 > 0:19:36Eleanor seems to be taking charge,
0:19:36 > 0:19:40telling Lizzie to head all the way over to Jeremy. Good advice,
0:19:40 > 0:19:43- but can Lizzie follow it? - You're doing really well, Lizzie.
0:19:43 > 0:19:45The boys look nervous.
0:19:45 > 0:19:48Can Lizzie give them a real reason to fret?
0:19:48 > 0:19:50She's going for the drop.
0:19:50 > 0:19:52Yes!
0:19:52 > 0:19:55First cog, it's the blue cog, Jeremy caught it.
0:19:56 > 0:19:59It's third time lucky for the girls.
0:19:59 > 0:20:02Lizzie throws the blue cog over, nearer the lower bridge.
0:20:02 > 0:20:04It's only a tiny adjustment,
0:20:04 > 0:20:07but enough for it to be within Jeremy's reach. Great stuff!
0:20:07 > 0:20:09- Lizzie!- Good job!
0:20:09 > 0:20:12- Go and get the green and the yellow! - OK.
0:20:12 > 0:20:15- Get yellow first!- Get the green one beneath your plank.
0:20:15 > 0:20:18- Get yellow first!- OK.
0:20:19 > 0:20:23Lizzie's heading all the way across to the spare cogs,
0:20:23 > 0:20:25but it must be so confusing for her.
0:20:25 > 0:20:29Her team mates are all giving her different advice.
0:20:29 > 0:20:32- Lizzie! Just get one at a time! - Come back and get the green.
0:20:34 > 0:20:37Still, she's collected another yel-... Oh, no!
0:20:38 > 0:20:40This could be bad news.
0:20:40 > 0:20:42While collecting a spare yellow,
0:20:42 > 0:20:45Lizzie manages to dislodge the other.
0:20:46 > 0:20:50Just over three minutes in, the girls have only made
0:20:50 > 0:20:53one successful catch - and they've lost two yellow cogs.
0:20:53 > 0:20:54If they're going to fill the nets,
0:20:54 > 0:20:59they've got to get this last yellow cog into Natty's net.
0:20:59 > 0:21:02They have to move fast now, but have to be bang on target.
0:21:02 > 0:21:06I need to get the aim perfect.
0:21:06 > 0:21:09Try to go as fast as you can, but take your time when you drop it.
0:21:09 > 0:21:12- Yeah.- And I'm not being funny.
0:21:12 > 0:21:14If I tell you to go left or right, please go,
0:21:14 > 0:21:16cos that'll help me greatly.
0:21:16 > 0:21:20The boys sound like they've got their plans together,
0:21:20 > 0:21:22but while they're in deep discussion
0:21:22 > 0:21:26they're missing some impressive cable-crossing from Lizzie.
0:21:26 > 0:21:29So brave. Now can she match this with an accurate drop?
0:21:29 > 0:21:33It's our last chance for yellow! We can do this!
0:21:33 > 0:21:35I'm holding it here. It's up to you.
0:21:35 > 0:21:37- You can do this.- Is it in there?
0:21:39 > 0:21:40OK, is it right?
0:21:40 > 0:21:42- Guys?- Oh, no!
0:21:42 > 0:21:45- Yes! They're not going to get that. - They haven't got yellow cog.
0:21:45 > 0:21:50Lizzie's aim is good, but Natty's concentration is off
0:21:50 > 0:21:51at the very moment of the drop.
0:21:51 > 0:21:53It catches her by surprise,
0:21:53 > 0:21:56so she doesn't react quickly enough to catch the cog.
0:21:56 > 0:22:01So their last yellow cog has gone, as well as any chance the girls had
0:22:01 > 0:22:03of filling all four nets. Nightmare!
0:22:06 > 0:22:09There's no telling the boys won't make an equally big mistake,
0:22:09 > 0:22:13so the girls really need to push on and try to make three catches.
0:22:13 > 0:22:15It could still be enough to win.
0:22:15 > 0:22:18Brilliant!
0:22:18 > 0:22:20Come on, Lizzie, that's how to do it!
0:22:20 > 0:22:22Well done, Lizzie. I'm green.
0:22:22 > 0:22:24Lizzie's heading to the middle,
0:22:24 > 0:22:27to drop this green cog into Eleanor's net.
0:22:27 > 0:22:29Can they both keep their cool?
0:22:29 > 0:22:31And what are the boys learning from watching?
0:22:31 > 0:22:35I've noticed why she's dropping them.
0:22:35 > 0:22:37they're not putting the net out far enough.
0:22:37 > 0:22:44So put it out a bit further for me, so that way I can just drop it.
0:22:44 > 0:22:46Zach has got this worked out,
0:22:46 > 0:22:49but it seems much tougher when you're way up there,
0:22:49 > 0:22:53with nothing but the hoops and monkey bars for balance.
0:22:53 > 0:22:56Can Lizzie keep focussed and make a successful drop to Eleanor?
0:22:57 > 0:22:59OK, right, there.
0:22:59 > 0:23:01OK! Go!
0:23:02 > 0:23:05- Ready?- Concentrate.- Ready!
0:23:05 > 0:23:07Catch it, catch it, catch it.
0:23:07 > 0:23:08Go!
0:23:08 > 0:23:10- ALL: Yes!- Yes!
0:23:10 > 0:23:11She got it.
0:23:13 > 0:23:16This is just what the girls needed,
0:23:16 > 0:23:19and with some terrific team work just what they deserved.
0:23:19 > 0:23:22Lizzie's aim is perfect and Eleanor follows it with her eyes,
0:23:22 > 0:23:23all the way into her net,
0:23:23 > 0:23:27so in just under six minutes they've made two catches.
0:23:27 > 0:23:29Now, can they make it three?
0:23:31 > 0:23:33Lizzie is racing across towards the spare cogs
0:23:33 > 0:23:36at the far end of the cable again.
0:23:36 > 0:23:40It's so wobbly up there, but she's not letting it worry her.
0:23:40 > 0:23:42Then again, perhaps you wouldn't expect it
0:23:42 > 0:23:46to worry the girl who arrived on the island and said this...
0:23:46 > 0:23:49I'm fearless and nothing about Scorpion Island scares me.
0:23:50 > 0:23:54Well, that much is clear - and it could be great news for the girls.
0:23:56 > 0:23:58You can do it, Lizzie!
0:23:58 > 0:24:01Excellent work! She's made it to the spare cogs.
0:24:01 > 0:24:02She's got a red one.
0:24:04 > 0:24:07If they get this, we need to get four.
0:24:08 > 0:24:12Three's the safe point, if they get three, but four is the one to get.
0:24:12 > 0:24:14- We need to get four. - We have to beat them!
0:24:14 > 0:24:16The boys sound defiant,
0:24:16 > 0:24:20but also a little anxious. They can see how hard this is.
0:24:20 > 0:24:23Can the girls give them something to really worry about,
0:24:23 > 0:24:25by getting this into Khadie's net?
0:24:27 > 0:24:29Brilliant! Right, go onto the plank.
0:24:31 > 0:24:35The first cog Lizzie dropped here was a red one,
0:24:35 > 0:24:38but Khadie had no chance of catching it.
0:24:38 > 0:24:41Lizzie seems to have her eye in, so will she be able to make it
0:24:41 > 0:24:43- easier for Khadie this time? - OK.- Come on!
0:24:43 > 0:24:45Lizzie is concentrating
0:24:45 > 0:24:47and she's really leaning
0:24:47 > 0:24:48into the drop.
0:24:48 > 0:24:49GIRLS: Yes!
0:24:49 > 0:24:51She got it, Khadie got it.
0:24:51 > 0:24:53We've got a blue, a green and a red.
0:24:53 > 0:24:55- Girls are flying through this. - Brilliant!
0:24:55 > 0:24:59At just over seven minutes, the girls made their third catch.
0:24:59 > 0:25:01Maybe Khadie learnt from Eleanor,
0:25:01 > 0:25:03because she doesn't let the cog out of sight
0:25:03 > 0:25:05until it hits her net, either.
0:25:05 > 0:25:08Because they haven't got any more yellow cogs
0:25:08 > 0:25:10this was the last catch they can make.
0:25:10 > 0:25:14So they just need Lizzie to get to the end platform, ASAP.
0:25:15 > 0:25:19Right, get back to the platform, quickly! Get onto the platform!
0:25:19 > 0:25:22She is racing back. Oh, but what's she up to now?
0:25:22 > 0:25:26No! You just need to get onto the platform and then we're finished!
0:25:26 > 0:25:28Lizzie is confused, but the clock's ticking
0:25:28 > 0:25:32and she needs to start doing what Eleanor says - and fast.
0:25:32 > 0:25:34Get on the platform!
0:25:34 > 0:25:37Do whatever you think is right.
0:25:37 > 0:25:38And she's there!
0:25:38 > 0:25:42Guys, that's the end of the game!
0:25:42 > 0:25:45Well, Lizzie's across, but just when her team needed her
0:25:45 > 0:25:48to move at top speed, she wasted time,
0:25:48 > 0:25:52which, depending on how the boys do, could prove crucial.
0:25:52 > 0:25:56Still, it was a good effort, but what did they make of it?
0:25:56 > 0:25:59It's a lot harder than it looks, cos when you see it from here
0:25:59 > 0:26:01you think "Oh, that's going to be so easy."
0:26:01 > 0:26:04But it wasn't and I think Lizzie did really well.
0:26:04 > 0:26:08My team mates performed really well, because they put all the...
0:26:08 > 0:26:10They tried their hardest
0:26:10 > 0:26:14and three of them out of four got their cogs in. So it was all good.
0:26:14 > 0:26:16Over all, I think we all did perfectly.
0:26:16 > 0:26:18I think we did fine for a first time.
0:26:20 > 0:26:25You didn't do perfectly, Jeremy, but it was a strong first showing.
0:26:25 > 0:26:28Captain Lizzie never seemed troubled at having to work
0:26:28 > 0:26:32at such an extraordinary height and moved at impressive speed.
0:26:32 > 0:26:34She did send the first two cogs tumbling,
0:26:34 > 0:26:38but with solid back-up from Jeremy, managed to get the third in.
0:26:38 > 0:26:42And this was where things really went wrong for the girls.
0:26:42 > 0:26:46Lizzie dislodged one spare yellow cog while collecting the next.
0:26:46 > 0:26:49Then, Natty wasn't paying attention when it dropped. She missed it.
0:26:49 > 0:26:51That meant, with all three yellow cogs lost,
0:26:51 > 0:26:54they could not fill all four nets.
0:26:54 > 0:26:55They did battle on,
0:26:55 > 0:26:58and with the help of some outstanding direction from Eleanor,
0:26:58 > 0:27:03managed to net three cogs, finishing in seven minutes, 40 seconds.
0:27:03 > 0:27:06The question is, have they done enough to win The Silver Eagle,
0:27:06 > 0:27:08or can the boys do better?
0:27:11 > 0:27:13Next time, the girls and the boys
0:27:13 > 0:27:16discover the fortune hunter's extraordinary camps,
0:27:16 > 0:27:19but it's been a while since they've been lived in.
0:27:19 > 0:27:23It's a little dark and dull, and it's smelly, too.
0:27:23 > 0:27:25Looks like it's been dumped there.
0:27:25 > 0:27:30Who is this mysterious character that breached the island's defences?
0:27:30 > 0:27:34I'm not really sure about the fortune hunter.
0:27:34 > 0:27:37I'm just a bit curious about where this person is.
0:27:39 > 0:27:41And the boys have to face the Chasm of Chaos,
0:27:41 > 0:27:45to win the first island treasure. But the pressure is on.
0:27:45 > 0:27:47Yes!
0:27:47 > 0:27:51And you can join all the action online at...
0:27:51 > 0:27:53So, we'll see you next time...
0:27:53 > 0:27:56..as both teams try to Escape From Scorpion Island. Bye.
