0:00:13 > 0:00:15Last time, the girls battled it out
0:00:15 > 0:00:19to be one of the founding captains of Sting or Claw.
0:00:19 > 0:00:21She hit the board, but it wasn't enough.
0:00:21 > 0:00:25- Everybody has a challenge they're not very good at.- How'd that happen?
0:00:25 > 0:00:28I'd really like to be captain, it'd be so cool.
0:00:28 > 0:00:32And now it's the boys turn, but have they got what it takes?
0:00:32 > 0:00:37- Feeling confident?- Um, yeah.- Um, OK.
0:00:38 > 0:00:42As they face the island alone, the pressure is mounting.
0:00:42 > 0:00:46I'm really nervous, yeah, because I really want to be captain.
0:00:46 > 0:00:48I have pretty good hand-eye coordination.
0:00:48 > 0:00:51Hopefully, I can pull out the big guns.
0:00:51 > 0:00:57But their overwhelming competitive spirit goes one step too far.
0:00:57 > 0:01:00I crushed them slightly in my hand, so that when I throw them
0:01:00 > 0:01:02they'll easily crash.
0:01:02 > 0:01:04I've done it.
0:01:04 > 0:01:06This is Scorpion Island.
0:01:34 > 0:01:37Hello and welcome to Escape From Scorpion Island.
0:01:37 > 0:01:41You join us on a very tense day five as both teams of girls and boys
0:01:41 > 0:01:45are battling it out to become team captains for Sting and Claw.
0:01:46 > 0:01:50Scorpion Island relishes in its splendid isolation
0:01:50 > 0:01:53and uses its natural world as its impenetrable defence system.
0:01:56 > 0:01:59The island is teeming with life, its precious treasure.
0:02:01 > 0:02:05In recent times, an adventurer came from far across the seas.
0:02:05 > 0:02:08He was a fortune hunter, whose mission it was
0:02:08 > 0:02:10to plunder the island of its legendary treasure.
0:02:17 > 0:02:21He took on the island's challenges and succeeded,
0:02:21 > 0:02:25but when he failed in his final escape, the furious island
0:02:25 > 0:02:29mischievously captured the fortune hunter's spirit and locked it away.
0:02:29 > 0:02:33Aaaarrrrggggghhhh!
0:02:35 > 0:02:39Now, ten adventurers must follow the path he created.
0:02:39 > 0:02:42Their mission - to escape the island.
0:02:42 > 0:02:44They must battle it out in terrifying challenges
0:02:44 > 0:02:47and the victors will win an island treasure.
0:02:47 > 0:02:50The more they win, the greater the advantage they'll have
0:02:50 > 0:02:52in the final race to escape.
0:03:00 > 0:03:03We're going to, maybe, touch up the paint a bit
0:03:03 > 0:03:05and make it look really pretty.
0:03:05 > 0:03:10Maybe collect some wild flowers and make a sort of formation on the table
0:03:10 > 0:03:13just to really show that this was the girl's camp.
0:03:13 > 0:03:17The boys, meanwhile, have a very different plan.
0:03:17 > 0:03:20We're building a boat, cos we live at the river camp
0:03:20 > 0:03:23and it's our last day together.
0:03:23 > 0:03:26We use bottles, sticks, leaves
0:03:26 > 0:03:29and we need water, obviously, for it to float.
0:03:30 > 0:03:33Natty may be the current captain of the girls,
0:03:33 > 0:03:36but she also wants to lead a different team altogether.
0:03:36 > 0:03:40I would feel, like, really amazing if I was chosen to be
0:03:40 > 0:03:43the first captain of Sting or Claw.
0:03:43 > 0:03:46I'd be so happy. I'd just feel elated.
0:03:46 > 0:03:49I would try and lead our team to victory
0:03:49 > 0:03:53and just be a captain that everyone could just put their trust in
0:03:53 > 0:03:56and know that I won't let them down.
0:03:56 > 0:04:00But it's not just Natty with her eye on the ultimate prize.
0:04:00 > 0:04:01It would be
0:04:01 > 0:04:05amazing if I could be the very first captain
0:04:05 > 0:04:07for Sting or Claw.
0:04:07 > 0:04:10I really, really want to be captain,
0:04:10 > 0:04:15because it's just such an honour. I was the first captain for the boys
0:04:15 > 0:04:17EVER on Scorpion Island
0:04:17 > 0:04:21and I want to be the first captain for Sting or Claw on the island.
0:04:21 > 0:04:27The triumphant team captains will have to pick who's in Sting and Claw
0:04:27 > 0:04:30and some adventurers know who they'd like to be in a team with.
0:04:30 > 0:04:32My first choice for the boys
0:04:32 > 0:04:36would be James, because he's a very good swimmer.
0:04:36 > 0:04:41And for the girls, it would probably be Natty,
0:04:41 > 0:04:45because she's very good with her aim and target.
0:04:47 > 0:04:52I would pick Lizzie, if I could,
0:04:52 > 0:04:55because Lizzie has quite a lot of skills
0:04:55 > 0:05:00and to have some girls mixed in with some boys
0:05:00 > 0:05:04I think would be a really nice experience,
0:05:04 > 0:05:09because girls have a great brain, whilst boys are very physical.
0:05:09 > 0:05:12But before Jordan can take on The Divider,
0:05:12 > 0:05:14there's one last thing he must do.
0:05:14 > 0:05:21I think this is a great opportunity to say goodbye to the boy's team
0:05:21 > 0:05:24- ..and the girl's team.- Yeah, and represent...- Sting and Claw.- Yeah.
0:05:24 > 0:05:26- A new beginning.- Yeah.
0:05:26 > 0:05:32- Let's launch... - ALL: Bessie- ..into the water.
0:05:32 > 0:05:36See if it floats. Goodbye. We should bless it.
0:05:36 > 0:05:39QUEEN-ESQUE: God bless that ship and all who sail on it.
0:05:39 > 0:05:42God bless it. THEY LAUGH
0:05:42 > 0:05:45Scorpion Island is ever treacherous
0:05:45 > 0:05:48and even Bessie has a bumpy ride on her maiden voyage.
0:05:48 > 0:05:51Let's hope the boys have a smoother time
0:05:51 > 0:05:54when they face the island alone in the Island Challenge.
0:05:58 > 0:06:00Next up, it's the boys.
0:06:00 > 0:06:02That's Dilhan,
0:06:02 > 0:06:04Zack,
0:06:04 > 0:06:06Jordan,
0:06:06 > 0:06:07Peter
0:06:07 > 0:06:09and today's captain, James.
0:06:14 > 0:06:17The girls have already taken on The Divider.
0:06:17 > 0:06:20In a clearing in the jungle, they each had three swings
0:06:20 > 0:06:24at a giant target suspended seven metres up
0:06:24 > 0:06:27and with each swing, they had to throw a paint-filled rock
0:06:27 > 0:06:29as close to the centre as possible.
0:06:31 > 0:06:33The stakes were as high as their swings,
0:06:33 > 0:06:36because the girl who splattered nearest the bull's-eye
0:06:36 > 0:06:38will join the most successful of the boys, in becoming
0:06:38 > 0:06:42the first captains, when the island brings back Sting and Claw.
0:06:42 > 0:06:45Plus, the adventurer who throws the best splat overall,
0:06:45 > 0:06:48will also win the latest island treasure, the silver crab.
0:06:51 > 0:06:54Despite some misfires and some problems hurling the rocks
0:06:54 > 0:06:58hard enough so that they splattered, the girls did generally do well,
0:06:58 > 0:07:01proving it's not size, but skill, that counts here.
0:07:01 > 0:07:04And with an incredible splat, right in the bull's-eye,
0:07:04 > 0:07:06it was Natty who came out on top.
0:07:10 > 0:07:13So she'll be captaining Sting or Claw, but we don't know
0:07:13 > 0:07:17if she'll also be taking the silver crab, until the boys have played.
0:07:17 > 0:07:21And as they won the memory trial, The Fortune Hunter
0:07:21 > 0:07:23has rewarded them with an advantage here
0:07:23 > 0:07:27and they're about to find out it's a really unusual one.
0:07:27 > 0:07:30An extra swing, but only for one of their team-mates.
0:07:30 > 0:07:35Could this make all the difference and who will conquer The Divider?
0:07:35 > 0:07:37- Hello, boys, how are you doing? - ALL: Good.
0:07:37 > 0:07:41Good? Excellent. As you know, this morning, during the memory trial
0:07:41 > 0:07:42you boys won it by default.
0:07:42 > 0:07:48As a result of this, in addition to the three throws each of you get,
0:07:48 > 0:07:51one of you will get an extra throw.
0:07:52 > 0:07:55However, who gets that extra throw will be decided
0:07:55 > 0:07:57between the five of you.
0:07:57 > 0:08:01I want you to now talk and decide who deserves that extra throw
0:08:01 > 0:08:06and an extra shot at being the captain of either Sting or Claw.
0:08:11 > 0:08:15- Who is the worst thrower here? - Jordan. Give it to Jordan.
0:08:15 > 0:08:18- OK.- I don't mind if you want to give it to anybody else.
0:08:18 > 0:08:20Shall we have a vote?
0:08:20 > 0:08:25Put your hands in the middle to vote for Jordan.
0:08:25 > 0:08:27Jordan it is then.
0:08:27 > 0:08:30OK, that seemed pretty conclusive.
0:08:30 > 0:08:33- Just to confirm, who have you voted for?- Jordan.
0:08:33 > 0:08:35Can I ask why you voted for Jordan?
0:08:35 > 0:08:39Because Jordan says he can't throw as well and it's his weakness.
0:08:39 > 0:08:43So we need to develop on that weakness and give him an extra shot
0:08:43 > 0:08:45and I think he'll use it wisely
0:08:45 > 0:08:49and if he is the captain, I don't mind, because he is perfect for it.
0:08:49 > 0:08:51That's very nice. Very democratic.
0:08:51 > 0:08:56Jordan, how do you feel? The team have voted you get the fourth throw.
0:08:56 > 0:09:01I feel it's a pleasure because I want to be a captain,
0:09:01 > 0:09:04to bring peace and harmony to the camp.
0:09:04 > 0:09:07OK, Jordan wants to bring peace and harmony to you all. Jordan,
0:09:07 > 0:09:11with the fourth throw you might just get that chance. We shall find out.
0:09:14 > 0:09:18So, now it's the boys turn and James is up first.
0:09:18 > 0:09:21Meanwhile, the rest of the boys will be watching on.
0:09:21 > 0:09:24- James, are you ready?- Ready.
0:09:24 > 0:09:27- Feeling confident?- Um, yeah.
0:09:27 > 0:09:30Um, OK. Are you ready?
0:09:30 > 0:09:34Three, two, one, off you go.
0:09:34 > 0:09:40James' first swing and he's going for the throw. Looks good... Oh!
0:09:40 > 0:09:42It didn't break.
0:09:42 > 0:09:45And that's bad news for James because only splats count here.
0:09:45 > 0:09:49So, although this one hit the target really close to the bull's-eye,
0:09:49 > 0:09:53it's a wasted throw. Can he give it more power next time?
0:09:53 > 0:09:58- Are you ready?- Yeah. - Three, two, one, go.
0:09:58 > 0:10:01This looks like a much more confident launch.
0:10:01 > 0:10:04- This is a great pace... Oh, dear. - No!
0:10:04 > 0:10:07- It didn't break. - They're not breaking.
0:10:07 > 0:10:11The rest of the boys are sounding worried but this challenge
0:10:11 > 0:10:15requires force as well as accuracy and sadly James had neither here,
0:10:15 > 0:10:18with his rock not only failing to splat,
0:10:18 > 0:10:21but also hitting the board outside the target.
0:10:21 > 0:10:24So, if he's going to have any chance of being one of the first
0:10:24 > 0:10:26captains of Sting or Claw
0:10:26 > 0:10:29he needs to pull something spectacular out of the bag
0:10:29 > 0:10:30with his last throw.
0:10:30 > 0:10:34- James, are you ready?- Yeah!
0:10:34 > 0:10:37Take your time and hurl that rock.
0:10:37 > 0:10:39Three, two, one, go.
0:10:39 > 0:10:45- This is another really quick leap. He's going for the throw...- No!
0:10:45 > 0:10:47Well, that means I'm not captain.
0:10:47 > 0:10:49The third and final try there from James.
0:10:49 > 0:10:52He did hit the board, however, the rock didn't splatter.
0:10:52 > 0:10:55I thought it would break straight away but it didn't.
0:10:55 > 0:10:59I was really throwing it on the third one and it just didn't break at all.
0:10:59 > 0:11:02What's worse, your first two throws didn't splat either,
0:11:02 > 0:11:05which really troubled your team-mates.
0:11:05 > 0:11:08I can't hit them any harder than James.
0:11:08 > 0:11:11James' second throw was off target
0:11:11 > 0:11:14and his third hit just on the edge of the target,
0:11:14 > 0:11:16but his first was the most unlucky for him
0:11:16 > 0:11:19as it was so close to the bull's-eye.
0:11:19 > 0:11:23If it had splatted he would be in an extremely strong position here.
0:11:23 > 0:11:26As it stands, he knows the captaincy has slipped away.
0:11:26 > 0:11:28I would've loved the opportunity
0:11:28 > 0:11:31but it doesn't really matter now. It's over and done with.
0:11:31 > 0:11:34My friends, I hope, will pick me so I don't really mind.
0:11:34 > 0:11:38Right, Zack's up next. Let's see what his tactics are like.
0:11:38 > 0:11:43- Zack, are you ready?- Yeah! - Three, two, one, go.
0:11:45 > 0:11:49- But will it be a good throw? - BOYS: Ooh.- Not bad.
0:11:50 > 0:11:53So, this was a solid first throw from Zack.
0:11:53 > 0:11:56It hit on target and just as importantly, it was a splat.
0:11:56 > 0:11:58Now, can he get nearer the bull's-eye?
0:11:58 > 0:12:00It's Zack's second attempt.
0:12:00 > 0:12:04Let's see if he gives that target a real pelt. OK, Zack, here we go.
0:12:04 > 0:12:08Three, two, one, go.
0:12:08 > 0:12:12He's running off the edge here, keeping his eyes on the target.
0:12:12 > 0:12:15Wow! Another splat.
0:12:15 > 0:12:17I threw it that hard and it wouldn't break.
0:12:17 > 0:12:22James sounds outraged but it seems Zack must be doing something here
0:12:22 > 0:12:24because that's two for two
0:12:24 > 0:12:27and this one splatted really close to the bull's-eye.
0:12:27 > 0:12:30Can he get even nearer the centre with his last throw?
0:12:30 > 0:12:33The third and final attempt here for Zack.
0:12:33 > 0:12:35He was the team captain on the very first day
0:12:35 > 0:12:39and he certainly wants to be team captain again. Are you ready, Zack?
0:12:39 > 0:12:42- Yes!- Three, two, one, go.
0:12:44 > 0:12:48Not such a strong leap this time and it's a slower swing too. No.
0:12:48 > 0:12:53The third rock didn't break, however, other two did, which means
0:12:53 > 0:12:56Zack is in with a really good chance of being the first captain.
0:12:56 > 0:12:59Being captain means so much to me
0:12:59 > 0:13:03because if I was the captain I would do it right this time.
0:13:03 > 0:13:06Last time, I made a few mistakes when I was captain.
0:13:06 > 0:13:09But you didn't make many mistakes here, Zack.
0:13:09 > 0:13:13All of your throws hit the target and the first two were proper splats
0:13:13 > 0:13:16and remember, James didn't get a single splat.
0:13:16 > 0:13:19I'm surprised James didn't get any. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't.
0:13:19 > 0:13:22But I'm very surprised, I thought he was stronger.
0:13:22 > 0:13:25Well, Zack, that's what you said to camera
0:13:25 > 0:13:28but the island is all-seeing and nothing gets past it.
0:13:28 > 0:13:33James, I crushed them slightly in my hand so that when I throw them
0:13:33 > 0:13:35they'd easily crash.
0:13:35 > 0:13:39What will the island have to say about this? We'll find out later.
0:13:39 > 0:13:43For now, it's left Zack in pole position to be one of the captains
0:13:43 > 0:13:47with his second splat being so close to the bull's-eye.
0:13:47 > 0:13:49But, of course,
0:13:49 > 0:13:54with three boys left to swing, everything could still change.
0:13:54 > 0:13:58Now, Peter said he really wanted to be captain.
0:13:58 > 0:14:00Well, to be captain for Sting or Claw
0:14:00 > 0:14:03I think would be an amazing opportunity
0:14:03 > 0:14:07and would give me the confidence and the power
0:14:07 > 0:14:12to believe in myself and hopefully escape and be victorious in the end.
0:14:12 > 0:14:14So, let's see if he can make that a reality.
0:14:14 > 0:14:18He's up next. Peter, are you ready?
0:14:18 > 0:14:20- Ready!- Feeling confident and focused?
0:14:20 > 0:14:23- Yes.- That's the spirit, good man.
0:14:23 > 0:14:27Three, two, one, go.
0:14:27 > 0:14:30Strong positive launch here, all ready to throw.
0:14:30 > 0:14:32Oh, yes! A great green splat there.
0:14:32 > 0:14:35A good start for Peter.
0:14:35 > 0:14:38He swung fearlessly and managed to get an on-target splat.
0:14:38 > 0:14:40He just needs to get nearer the centre
0:14:40 > 0:14:43if he's going to beat Zack. Can he do it?
0:14:43 > 0:14:49- OK, Peter, are you ready?- Ready. - Three, two, one, go.
0:14:49 > 0:14:55Terrific running leap from Peter here and it's another early... Oh!
0:14:55 > 0:14:58Woah! Peter proved you have to pelt it pretty powerfully.
0:14:58 > 0:15:01And it got him his second splat in a row.
0:15:01 > 0:15:04In almost exactly the same spot as his first.
0:15:04 > 0:15:07So, it's incredibly consistent work
0:15:07 > 0:15:11but he really needs to break out of this pattern with his final throw.
0:15:11 > 0:15:14Peter seems so determined here.
0:15:14 > 0:15:18He looks like he is willing this last rock to find the bull's-eye.
0:15:18 > 0:15:20Can he make it happen?
0:15:20 > 0:15:23Three, two, one, go.
0:15:23 > 0:15:26Another really great leap. He is swinging sideways.
0:15:26 > 0:15:29And ready to drop... Ooohhh!
0:15:29 > 0:15:32This was Peter's closest hit yet and his third splat in a row,
0:15:32 > 0:15:36so this was a sound performance overall.
0:15:36 > 0:15:40But none of his splats were as close to the centre as Zack got.
0:15:40 > 0:15:44It means Peter must wave goodbye to his dreams of being the first leader
0:15:44 > 0:15:45of Sting or Claw.
0:15:46 > 0:15:49- Now time for Dilhan. - And he's extremely confident.
0:15:49 > 0:15:53It doesn't look like the other boys succeeded, you know,
0:15:53 > 0:15:57but hopefully I can pull out the big guns.
0:15:57 > 0:15:59- Dilhan, are you ready?- Ready!
0:15:59 > 0:16:02Three, two, one, go.
0:16:02 > 0:16:05He's really thrown himself into this one.
0:16:05 > 0:16:09Oh, dear! This was not the start Dilhan wanted.
0:16:09 > 0:16:14He seems to have a strong swing but then managed to entirely misthrow,
0:16:14 > 0:16:16sending his rock flying below the board.
0:16:16 > 0:16:19He's got two throws left to get his act together.
0:16:19 > 0:16:22Right, let's just hope he's learnt from his first attempt.
0:16:22 > 0:16:24He has to hit the board this time.
0:16:24 > 0:16:26Dilhan. Three,
0:16:26 > 0:16:29two, one, go.
0:16:29 > 0:16:34He properly got out on the swing this time, looking so good. Yes!
0:16:34 > 0:16:37Good stuff. This was a much more controlled throw,
0:16:37 > 0:16:41which not only hit the target but was a proper splat too.
0:16:41 > 0:16:44Now with his last swing, can he get nearer the bull's-eye
0:16:44 > 0:16:46and put the pressure on Zack?
0:16:46 > 0:16:48Third and final for Dilhan, here we go.
0:16:48 > 0:16:52Dilhan. Three, two, one, go.
0:16:54 > 0:16:58Another full-on launch from Dilhan but it looks like an early... Oh!
0:16:58 > 0:17:02Well, Dilhan does manage a second splat on the edge of the target
0:17:02 > 0:17:05but it's further from the centre than his second throw
0:17:05 > 0:17:08and neither were anywhere near as close to the bull's-eye as Zack's.
0:17:08 > 0:17:12It looks like Zack's still in line to be one of the first captains
0:17:12 > 0:17:15unless Jordan can pull off something incredible.
0:17:15 > 0:17:19Remember, the team decided that Jordan wasn't the strongest thrower,
0:17:19 > 0:17:24so they gave him the fourth go. Is he going to prove them all wrong?
0:17:24 > 0:17:28- Jordan, are you ready?- Ready.
0:17:28 > 0:17:29- Are you focused?- Yes.
0:17:29 > 0:17:34Three, two, one, go.
0:17:34 > 0:17:38A careful first swing and he's going for the throw... Oh!
0:17:39 > 0:17:45Yes, James, it did but it only hit the bottom edge of the target.
0:17:45 > 0:17:48Of course, Jordan's still got three more throws.
0:17:48 > 0:17:50Can he make the most of having an extra turn
0:17:50 > 0:17:52and get some real smash hits here?
0:17:53 > 0:17:57Jordan seems to be psyching himself up, toying with the rock
0:17:57 > 0:18:00and getting ready for a second swing.
0:18:00 > 0:18:04Three, two, one, go.
0:18:04 > 0:18:09Wow, an athletic launch but he's swinging backwards. Ohh!
0:18:10 > 0:18:13Jordan did not make this easy for himself.
0:18:13 > 0:18:16A throw from a backwards swing was obviously going to be tough
0:18:16 > 0:18:18and so he did well, even to hit the target.
0:18:18 > 0:18:21He struck just where Peter had his second rock
0:18:21 > 0:18:24but unlike Peter, didn't get a proper splat.
0:18:24 > 0:18:26- Come on, Jordan.- Come on, mate.
0:18:26 > 0:18:30So he's got to get a better splat this time.
0:18:30 > 0:18:33Hang on, is he trying a similar tactic to Zack's?
0:18:33 > 0:18:36He's poking his finger into the rock to ensure the paint comes out.
0:18:43 > 0:18:47Am I allowed to do that?
0:18:47 > 0:18:51Well, I've done it. Oops.
0:18:51 > 0:18:53And don't think the island hasn't noticed.
0:18:53 > 0:18:55Jordan, focus.
0:18:55 > 0:19:01- Are you ready?- Ready! - Three, two, one, go.
0:19:01 > 0:19:06A neater launch this time and he's keeping a straighter line. Yes!
0:19:06 > 0:19:10The finger in rock plan combined with a more controlled swing here
0:19:10 > 0:19:16to get Jordan an on target splat, even from a relatively weak throw.
0:19:16 > 0:19:18So it was good but not a lead-grabbing effort.
0:19:18 > 0:19:21Nonetheless, Zack still seems fretful.
0:19:21 > 0:19:26I'm feeling nervous, yeah, because I really want to be captain
0:19:26 > 0:19:28and I'm the closest so far,
0:19:28 > 0:19:32but you never know what Jordan can do till he's done it.
0:19:32 > 0:19:36And we are about to find out what he can do with his last rock.
0:19:36 > 0:19:39This is now Jordan's fourth and final attempt.
0:19:39 > 0:19:43He really wants to bring peace and harmony to his team as captain.
0:19:43 > 0:19:44Will he be able to do it?
0:19:44 > 0:19:50- Jordan, last attempt. Are you ready? - Ready.- Good man.
0:19:50 > 0:19:53I can't wait to see this one. If he hits the board I am doomed.
0:19:53 > 0:19:55If he doesn't...
0:19:55 > 0:19:57I am definitely not being captain.
0:19:57 > 0:20:01Three, two, one, go.
0:20:01 > 0:20:04A really full-on launch, swinging smoothly
0:20:04 > 0:20:07but this is a really late throw. Oh. Oh!
0:20:09 > 0:20:12Jordan doesn't manage a splat but, bizarrely,
0:20:12 > 0:20:14does manage to catch his rock on the rebound.
0:20:14 > 0:20:18It's impressive but it doesn't earn him any bonus points.
0:20:18 > 0:20:21So how was The Divider for the boys?
0:20:21 > 0:20:24It would've been quite cool If I'd been captain
0:20:24 > 0:20:26but it doesn't really matter.
0:20:26 > 0:20:28I think I didn't do it too well,
0:20:28 > 0:20:30because Zack got closer to the middle.
0:20:34 > 0:20:36- So, well done, boys. Did you enjoy The Divider?- ALL: Yes.
0:20:36 > 0:20:39- Good fun?- ALL: Yeah.
0:20:39 > 0:20:43- How do you think you all did? - Not good.- Really?
0:20:43 > 0:20:46- I think I did OK. - You think you did well?- Yeah, I do.
0:20:46 > 0:20:48Is it hard to tell, though?
0:20:48 > 0:20:52Yeah. I didn't see what the girls were doing, so I was like "Hmm."
0:20:52 > 0:20:57This is true. What did you find the hardest bit of the whole task?
0:20:57 > 0:20:59Cracking them open on the board and throwing them so hard.
0:20:59 > 0:21:02- I had a bit of a technique. - What was that?
0:21:02 > 0:21:05Don't crush them all the way so it's bleeding out of your hand,
0:21:05 > 0:21:10just loosen the rock a bit and then woochaa!
0:21:10 > 0:21:13And remember, it's not the first time the island's heard you
0:21:13 > 0:21:15talking about this approach.
0:21:15 > 0:21:18I crushed them slightly in my hand,
0:21:18 > 0:21:20so when I throw them they'd easily crash.
0:21:20 > 0:21:23And it saw Jordan putting this into practice.
0:21:23 > 0:21:26Am I allowed to do that? I've done it.
0:21:26 > 0:21:29This technique naturally gave some of the adventurers
0:21:29 > 0:21:33a massive advantage over the others.
0:21:33 > 0:21:37But the island needs games to be played on a level playing field,
0:21:37 > 0:21:40especially games with as much riding on them as this one.
0:21:41 > 0:21:44So in an effort to restore fairness, it has decided
0:21:44 > 0:21:50to reassess all of the throws and judge the adventurers on their aim.
0:21:50 > 0:21:53Splats now become irrelevant and what counts
0:21:53 > 0:21:55is each rock's point of impact.
0:21:56 > 0:21:59This doesn't really alter the girls' results.
0:21:59 > 0:22:03Natty still reigns triumphant, with Lizzie second and Khadie third,
0:22:03 > 0:22:06but it does mean Eleanor, who went entirely splatless,
0:22:06 > 0:22:10does knock Jeremy into last place.
0:22:10 > 0:22:12However, going from splats to points of impact
0:22:12 > 0:22:16has a radical effect on the boys' results.
0:22:16 > 0:22:20As it brings James, who, like Eleanor, got no splats whatsoever,
0:22:20 > 0:22:23all the way from last place right up into first place.
0:22:23 > 0:22:27Leaving Zack, Peter, Jordan and Dilhan trailing behind.
0:22:29 > 0:22:33And so, in bringing fairness back the island has caused it to be
0:22:33 > 0:22:37James rather than Zack who will captain Sting or Claw opposite Natty
0:22:37 > 0:22:40and because her bang on the bull's-eye splat
0:22:40 > 0:22:41was the best shot of all,
0:22:41 > 0:22:44it's Natty who will take the island treasure -
0:22:44 > 0:22:48the silver crab. Great stuff and it just goes to show
0:22:48 > 0:22:51there is no hiding from the all-seeing island.
0:22:54 > 0:22:56A full moon rises in the night sky
0:22:56 > 0:22:59and finally, it's the moment of truth.
0:22:59 > 0:23:02The island is ready to reveal who will become
0:23:02 > 0:23:05the new captains of Sting and Claw.
0:23:10 > 0:23:14Hello, teams, welcome to the island fire.
0:23:14 > 0:23:18As you know, this is where all will be revealed about your mission here
0:23:18 > 0:23:22and most importantly where the island communicates with you.
0:23:22 > 0:23:26Girls, how did you find today's Island Challenge?
0:23:26 > 0:23:30I want more goes, I'd do it again.
0:23:30 > 0:23:32Boys, would you say it was as fun?
0:23:32 > 0:23:35Yeah, I felt like I was flying. It was amazing.
0:23:35 > 0:23:40Well, guys, I can now tell you that the island has told us
0:23:40 > 0:23:44that some of you were seen poking your fingers into the rocks
0:23:44 > 0:23:50to try and help them splat, giving you an unfair advantage.
0:23:51 > 0:23:56As a result of this, the scores will be based purely on the impact
0:23:56 > 0:23:59and not on the splats.
0:24:01 > 0:24:05The island is now ready to tell us who the new team captains are
0:24:05 > 0:24:08for Team Sting and for Team Claw.
0:24:11 > 0:24:16The boy and girl adventurers that hit nearest to the target are...
0:24:26 > 0:24:29- ..Natty.- Woo!
0:24:31 > 0:24:32And...
0:24:40 > 0:24:44- ..James. - Oh! I thought it would be Zack.
0:24:46 > 0:24:50Now, Natty, you hit nearest the target
0:24:50 > 0:24:53so you also get today's island treasure - the silver crab.
0:24:56 > 0:24:58Every night at the island fire,
0:24:58 > 0:25:03only one adventurer from the winning team has been awarded the treasure.
0:25:05 > 0:25:08Now, these adventurers will take their treasures with them
0:25:08 > 0:25:10to their new teams.
0:25:12 > 0:25:13Well done.
0:25:18 > 0:25:21Well, congratulations, Natty. Double win there.
0:25:21 > 0:25:26Now it's time for you to tell us which team you'd like to captain.
0:25:26 > 0:25:29I would really like to captain Sting.
0:25:29 > 0:25:31Team Sting for Natty.
0:25:31 > 0:25:35Well done, James, you will be the captain for team Claw.
0:25:35 > 0:25:36Well done, man.
0:25:36 > 0:25:39So we've got our two new team captains
0:25:39 > 0:25:43and they'll decide which adventurers they want in their teams.
0:25:43 > 0:25:46Who would you pick? You'll see the new teams next time.
0:25:46 > 0:25:48You can catch all the action online now.
0:25:48 > 0:25:51We will see you next time on Escape From Scorpion Island.
0:25:51 > 0:25:53- Bye-bye.- Bye.
0:25:53 > 0:25:58Next time on Scorpion Island, tough decisions await James and Natty
0:25:58 > 0:26:01as they must choose the rest of their team-mates one by one.
0:26:01 > 0:26:03I'm really sorry!
0:26:03 > 0:26:07And if that won't be pressure enough, they'll have to face off
0:26:07 > 0:26:10in an Island Challenge high in the tree tops.
0:26:10 > 0:26:13Who will keep their head? Who will strike first?
0:26:13 > 0:26:17And which of the captains will lead their new team to victory?
0:26:17 > 0:26:20It could only be Scorpion Island.
