0:00:14 > 0:00:16Last time on Scorpion Island.
0:00:16 > 0:00:20Team captains Natty for sting and James for claw went head to head
0:00:20 > 0:00:24in the first ever Sting verses Claw island challenge.
0:00:24 > 0:00:25CLAWS CHEER
0:00:25 > 0:00:29James came out on top and won an advantage for his new team-mates.
0:00:29 > 0:00:32Captains then had to choose their team-mates
0:00:32 > 0:00:34to play in the next round,
0:00:34 > 0:00:38but James has creeping doubts over his big decision.
0:00:38 > 0:00:40So, sting and claw go head to head
0:00:40 > 0:00:43in the second fearsome round of Flight Of Fear.
0:00:43 > 0:00:46- Go higher!- I can't.
0:00:46 > 0:00:51Claw are desperate to win and take the Butterfly Island treasure.
0:00:51 > 0:00:53But Sting will be no pushover.
0:00:53 > 0:00:56- THEY CHEER - It's all coming up.
0:01:25 > 0:01:28Hello and welcome to Escape From Scorpion Island. I'm Johnny.
0:01:28 > 0:01:29And I'm Myleene.
0:01:29 > 0:01:32It might look like paradise, but the island is tricky
0:01:32 > 0:01:35and there are two teams of adventurers battling to be the best
0:01:35 > 0:01:36and escape.
0:01:36 > 0:01:37You join us on day six
0:01:37 > 0:01:40and both Sting and Claw want to win today's island treasure.
0:01:46 > 0:01:51So, jubilant Claw are back at camp, having won the advantage,
0:01:51 > 0:01:54and captain James should be in high spirits.
0:01:54 > 0:01:55THEY CHEER
0:01:58 > 0:02:02However, he is having nagging doubts about his choices
0:02:02 > 0:02:06for the impending second round of the island challenge.
0:02:06 > 0:02:09When we were choosing people it was a bit pressurized
0:02:09 > 0:02:12because I was trying to pick good people,
0:02:12 > 0:02:16but people who wanted to do it as well. Trying to mix it up together.
0:02:16 > 0:02:18I want Lizzie cos she's tall
0:02:18 > 0:02:21and that's an advantage when your doing those things.
0:02:22 > 0:02:25'But then there was Zach, who I thought would be very good at it'
0:02:25 > 0:02:28and who wanted to do it as well,
0:02:28 > 0:02:31'but then Dilhan wanted to do it as well.
0:02:31 > 0:02:34'So, I wasn't sure if I wanted to pick Zach or Dilhan.'
0:02:34 > 0:02:38Zach put the pressure on James
0:02:38 > 0:02:42'so, then James ended up choosing Zach'
0:02:42 > 0:02:46even though he wasn't really into choosing him.
0:02:46 > 0:02:48'He would have preferred Dilhan, I believe.'
0:02:48 > 0:02:51I think I am going to go with...
0:02:51 > 0:02:53Zach.
0:02:53 > 0:02:55I didn't force James at all to pick me.
0:02:55 > 0:03:00I told him, "I am up for it and I think I would be good for it."
0:03:00 > 0:03:03I don't mind that today I wasn't chosen
0:03:03 > 0:03:07as the person to be selected to do the challenge
0:03:07 > 0:03:12and maybe next time the team captain will go with their instinct
0:03:12 > 0:03:14and pick whoever they think will do their best.
0:03:14 > 0:03:16I think I'm going to go...
0:03:16 > 0:03:20'But now thinking back to it I might have gone for Dilhan.'
0:03:20 > 0:03:24I think I might have accidentally made the wrong choices.
0:03:24 > 0:03:27Only time will tell who will get the island treasure,
0:03:27 > 0:03:30as Sting and Claw take on the second round of the island challenge.
0:03:34 > 0:03:37In round two, the island is, for the first time,
0:03:37 > 0:03:40setting Sting and Claw against each other as teams
0:03:40 > 0:03:44to try to win the latest all-important island treasure.
0:03:44 > 0:03:47Because the adventurers took the treasures they'd won
0:03:47 > 0:03:50in the boy's verses girl's challenges into the new teams.
0:03:50 > 0:03:55As it stands, Sting has three treasures while Claw have just two.
0:03:55 > 0:03:56It's amazingly close
0:03:56 > 0:04:00and so both teams will be doing everything they can to win here
0:04:00 > 0:04:02and add the Silver Butterfly to their trove,
0:04:02 > 0:04:06which means there's immense pressure on Khadie and Peter for Sting,
0:04:06 > 0:04:12as they take on Lizzie and Zach for Claw in round two of Flight Of Fear.
0:04:13 > 0:04:16Amongst the tallest trees on the island,
0:04:16 > 0:04:19one team member will have to climb an angled cable ladder
0:04:19 > 0:04:21collecting giant cogs one at a time,
0:04:21 > 0:04:26before passing to their team-mate who's climbing a matching ladder
0:04:26 > 0:04:29on the other side of the forest clearing.
0:04:29 > 0:04:32To make these passes the adventurers have to swing towards each other,
0:04:32 > 0:04:36so this is going to be an immense test of coordination
0:04:36 > 0:04:37and communication.
0:04:37 > 0:04:40As well as a huge physical challenge.
0:04:40 > 0:04:44Once the cog's been passed the second team member has to deliver it
0:04:44 > 0:04:47into the collection tub at the base of the angled ladder.
0:04:47 > 0:04:49If a cog hits the ground it's out of play
0:04:49 > 0:04:53and if an adventurer completely loses momentum
0:04:53 > 0:04:56and can't reach either ladder they'll be lowered right down.
0:04:56 > 0:04:58A real waste of time.
0:04:58 > 0:05:02Both teams have eight minutes to deliver as many cogs as possible
0:05:02 > 0:05:06and whoever has the most cogs when the time runs out wins.
0:05:06 > 0:05:08Sting starts with nine cogs on their ladder,
0:05:08 > 0:05:11but because the cogs that James won round one, Claw have ten.
0:05:11 > 0:05:14Meaning they have the potential to score more.
0:05:14 > 0:05:19Will this be decisive, or can Sting power their way to glory here?
0:05:19 > 0:05:23With the latest island treasure, the Silver Butterfly, up for grabs
0:05:23 > 0:05:27you just know that both teams are going to give it 100%.
0:05:31 > 0:05:35Sting and claw welcome to round two, A Flight Of Fear.
0:05:35 > 0:05:39The captains played in round one and it was full of drama, weren't it?
0:05:39 > 0:05:41Are you ready for round two?
0:05:41 > 0:05:42ALL: Yeah.
0:05:42 > 0:05:44- Are you a bit scared? - BOTH: No.
0:05:44 > 0:05:48- What's makes you so confident? - I'm just not scared of heights.
0:05:48 > 0:05:49- No-one's scared of heights?- No.
0:05:49 > 0:05:53Team Claw, you're going first and you have the advantage in this round.
0:05:53 > 0:05:57Team Sting had it last round and they didn't capitalise on that.
0:05:57 > 0:06:00You think you'll capitalise on having an extra cog?
0:06:00 > 0:06:02We'll get all of them in, hopefully. So...
0:06:02 > 0:06:06- You don't reckon you need it? - No. Let's hope we don't need it,
0:06:06 > 0:06:10but I'm sure Lizzie will keep it in the aim and yeah.
0:06:10 > 0:06:13Well, let battle commence for round two.
0:06:16 > 0:06:21First up Team Claw and they're in position for the game.
0:06:21 > 0:06:25Zach's ready to climb up and collect the cogs and pass over to Lizzie,
0:06:25 > 0:06:29- who'll and drop them into the tub. - Zach and Lizzie of Team Claw.
0:06:29 > 0:06:32- Are you ready?- Ready.
0:06:32 > 0:06:35Three, two, one, go!
0:06:35 > 0:06:37And they're off!
0:06:38 > 0:06:41The boys and girls haven't worked together in a challenge.
0:06:41 > 0:06:44It's the first time we can see if they work together well.
0:06:44 > 0:06:48We're going to see it in a challenge which is the ultimate test
0:06:48 > 0:06:49of team work and communication.
0:06:49 > 0:06:52- Keep going, Lizzie. - Go to the top one first.
0:06:52 > 0:06:57Hmm, interesting technique, they're going for the top cog first.
0:06:57 > 0:06:59And this could be a clever tactic.
0:06:59 > 0:07:03Heading up to where the distance between the ladders is shortest.
0:07:03 > 0:07:07Guys you have to talk to each other. Communicate!
0:07:07 > 0:07:08Go on, Lizzie!
0:07:08 > 0:07:10Come on, Zach?
0:07:10 > 0:07:12Zach's nearly at the top of the ladder.
0:07:12 > 0:07:14More than ten metres off the ground.
0:07:14 > 0:07:15Amazing!
0:07:17 > 0:07:20- Ready?- Here we go, it's the top cog. The first cog.
0:07:20 > 0:07:22- And he's got it.- Ready?
0:07:22 > 0:07:26- One, two, three!- So, they're going for their first swing.
0:07:27 > 0:07:29Oh, they missed. They have to try again.
0:07:29 > 0:07:33They need to be a whole lot closer than that.
0:07:33 > 0:07:34Oh!
0:07:34 > 0:07:36Lizzie you need to go up.
0:07:36 > 0:07:39- Zach, go down! - Zach, go down, or Lizzie go up.
0:07:39 > 0:07:41Three, two, one, go!
0:07:43 > 0:07:46Just throw it instead. Just throw it, I'll catch it!
0:07:46 > 0:07:48- Sure?- Yeah.
0:07:49 > 0:07:52Can this possibly work? He's going for it!
0:07:52 > 0:07:53Oh, no.
0:07:53 > 0:07:55That's one cog down,
0:07:55 > 0:07:57but remember, Team Claw do have a spare cog.
0:07:57 > 0:08:00So they've still got the full nine cogs that they can try and get.
0:08:00 > 0:08:03Don't do that again that was a spare!
0:08:03 > 0:08:06But will Zach listen to Eleanor here?
0:08:09 > 0:08:11ALL: Yeah!
0:08:11 > 0:08:13That's great they've got the first cog.
0:08:13 > 0:08:16Great work there by Zach and Lizzie. Great team work.
0:08:16 > 0:08:21At last! They managed to transfer a cog and they do so in style,
0:08:21 > 0:08:24with a terrific mid-swing throw from Zach.
0:08:24 > 0:08:27Followed with a brilliant catch from Lizzie,
0:08:27 > 0:08:29just as she turns back from the ladder.
0:08:32 > 0:08:37It's great stuff, but now she needs to get it into the tub ASAP.
0:08:37 > 0:08:39Could this be the first cog?
0:08:40 > 0:08:43And it's a success. One cog is in the basket.
0:08:43 > 0:08:46But it's taken them more than three minutes.
0:08:46 > 0:08:50They really need to speed up and that's going to be hard work
0:08:50 > 0:08:52if they stick to going for the highest cogs.
0:08:52 > 0:08:55Lizzie has got to climb so far back up the ladder.
0:08:55 > 0:08:57Bit higher!
0:08:59 > 0:09:01Don't throw it, OK?
0:09:01 > 0:09:03- Just throw it.- No, don't throw it!
0:09:03 > 0:09:07Well, they are going for another swing.
0:09:07 > 0:09:11Oh, no throw and Zach just didn't get enough momentum.
0:09:11 > 0:09:14It's really tough because it's about coordination,
0:09:14 > 0:09:17as they've both got to leave at the same time.
0:09:17 > 0:09:19Well, they are going again.
0:09:19 > 0:09:21Oh, no! Zach didn't let go.
0:09:21 > 0:09:24Communicate with each other! Go up and then swing out.
0:09:24 > 0:09:26You have to throw it.
0:09:29 > 0:09:33Oh, no that's another cog that's been wasted by Team Claw.
0:09:33 > 0:09:35This is bad news for Claw.
0:09:35 > 0:09:39Zach threw the cog well, but it slipped between Lizzie's fingers
0:09:39 > 0:09:41and plummeted down to the ground.
0:09:41 > 0:09:44The rest of their team had been frantically shouting
0:09:44 > 0:09:45not to go for the throw.
0:09:45 > 0:09:48Did Lizzie and Zach ignore them,
0:09:48 > 0:09:51or was their advice lost in a wall of noise?
0:09:54 > 0:09:58Either way, it means they have less than half their time left
0:09:58 > 0:10:01and they've still only got one cog in the tub.
0:10:01 > 0:10:06Zach you need to push harder off the ladder.
0:10:08 > 0:10:10Zach are you listening?
0:10:10 > 0:10:12He's not going to listen.
0:10:12 > 0:10:15He's not listening to what we're saying.
0:10:15 > 0:10:19This is tough and I think Team Claw are starting to panic a little bit.
0:10:20 > 0:10:24You have to throw it! Doesn't matter, just throw it!
0:10:24 > 0:10:27Zach! You need to push harder.
0:10:27 > 0:10:30OK, mate.
0:10:30 > 0:10:33Three, two, one...
0:10:33 > 0:10:35Well, they're going for another pass
0:10:35 > 0:10:37and yes, she's got it.
0:10:37 > 0:10:40Lizzie, a great catch there and a good throw by Zach.
0:10:40 > 0:10:42She's got to get down.
0:10:42 > 0:10:44It doesn't count until it's in the basket.
0:10:44 > 0:10:46And it's such a long climb down to it too.
0:10:46 > 0:10:49Claw are working SO hard here.
0:10:52 > 0:10:54Lizzie's nearly at the bottom,
0:10:54 > 0:10:57but she can't afford to take any risks here.
0:10:58 > 0:11:02Yes, it's in and that's Claw's second cog in the tub,
0:11:02 > 0:11:05but they've only got just over a minute and a half left.
0:11:05 > 0:11:09Zach and Lizzie are both hauling themselves up their ladders.
0:11:09 > 0:11:14This must be utterly exhausting.
0:11:14 > 0:11:17- Lizzie keep going up. - I can't my fingers hurt!
0:11:17 > 0:11:18Oh, no!
0:11:18 > 0:11:21Lizzie's fingers are hurting, she's really struggling.
0:11:21 > 0:11:25She has to do so much climbing to keep going so far up.
0:11:25 > 0:11:27Lizzie, you have to go higher,
0:11:27 > 0:11:31- otherwise you're not going to be close enough.- I can't!
0:11:31 > 0:11:35A really tough challenge, this. Round two is proving to be difficult.
0:11:35 > 0:11:39But if claw want to win the latest island treasure
0:11:39 > 0:11:43they have absolutely got to drive themselves on here.
0:11:43 > 0:11:46Three...two...one.
0:11:46 > 0:11:48Another swing!
0:11:49 > 0:11:50ALL: No!
0:11:50 > 0:11:52Oh, no! They have dropped another cog.
0:11:52 > 0:11:56The rest of Team Claw will not be happy about that.
0:11:56 > 0:11:59Lizzie couldn't climb any higher,
0:11:59 > 0:12:01so Zach had to pass the cog down to her.
0:12:01 > 0:12:04If he'd have thrown a moment earlier it might have worked,
0:12:04 > 0:12:08but as it was, she was already swinging back to the ladder,
0:12:08 > 0:12:12leaving the cog frustratingly uncatchable.
0:12:15 > 0:12:17But with less than 30 seconds left,
0:12:17 > 0:12:20have they got time to get another cog across
0:12:20 > 0:12:23and all the way down in to the tub...
0:12:23 > 0:12:24Two, three!
0:12:24 > 0:12:27..Could this be their last swing?
0:12:27 > 0:12:30Ooh, what a catch! Amazing work from Lizzie,
0:12:30 > 0:12:33but there's just seconds left on the clock
0:12:35 > 0:12:38Oh! She looks like she's going for the drop, yes!
0:12:38 > 0:12:40Oh, no!
0:12:43 > 0:12:48Three, two, and one, that's it! That's game over for Team Claw.
0:12:48 > 0:12:53A heartbreaking moment for Claw and they are gutted.
0:12:53 > 0:12:55Really disappointed.
0:12:55 > 0:12:57I think Lizzie did really try her best,
0:12:57 > 0:13:00her catching and throwing skills are really good,
0:13:00 > 0:13:03but I don't know if I could do any better.
0:13:03 > 0:13:07Our communication skills between me and Lizzie were good,
0:13:07 > 0:13:12but our communication between us two, to those three, was appalling.
0:13:12 > 0:13:15Well, you're being a bit tough on yourself there, Zach.
0:13:15 > 0:13:19This was a valiant effort from you and Lizzie.
0:13:19 > 0:13:22They swung bravely and made some impressive swaps,
0:13:22 > 0:13:26though if they had been more in sync they could have made even more.
0:13:26 > 0:13:31Nonetheless, they managed to end up with two cogs in the tub.
0:13:31 > 0:13:35So, that's the target Sting have got to try and beat and they're up next.
0:13:39 > 0:13:42- Team Sting, are you ready?- Ready.
0:13:42 > 0:13:46In three, two, one, go!
0:13:46 > 0:13:50And they're off and they're RACING up there!
0:13:50 > 0:13:54So, let's see if team Sting can work as team better than Claw.
0:13:54 > 0:13:56They're going for a different technique.
0:13:56 > 0:13:59Remember, Team Claw went right to the top...
0:13:59 > 0:14:01Ready?
0:14:01 > 0:14:04..these guys are lower, that could make the difference.
0:14:04 > 0:14:05A big swing, ready?
0:14:05 > 0:14:09Careful, don't let go, don't let go of the cog!
0:14:09 > 0:14:12Three, two, one, swing!
0:14:12 > 0:14:15They're going for the swing. Can they make the pass?
0:14:15 > 0:14:16Oh, no!
0:14:20 > 0:14:22Peter and Khadie seem to be communicating well
0:14:22 > 0:14:27and swing together at just the right time, but Khadie fumbles the catch.
0:14:27 > 0:14:31So, the cog plummets down to the ground. Bad news.
0:14:33 > 0:14:37And remember, these cogs have only got nine cogs to play with.
0:14:37 > 0:14:39They haven't got that extra cog.
0:14:39 > 0:14:41- Come on!- Careful!
0:14:41 > 0:14:43Ready?
0:14:43 > 0:14:46There are so many things at work here, they've got to be quick,
0:14:46 > 0:14:50accurate, strong and they've got to have balance.
0:14:50 > 0:14:53Three, two, one...
0:14:53 > 0:14:55Here they go again.
0:14:55 > 0:14:58Keep it, keep it, keep it!
0:14:59 > 0:15:00Good work by Khadie.
0:15:00 > 0:15:03She told Peter to keep the cog. She wasn't sure she'd get it.
0:15:03 > 0:15:05Peter is swinging wildly.
0:15:07 > 0:15:09Peter, one, two...
0:15:09 > 0:15:11But Khadie is taking control.
0:15:11 > 0:15:12Oh, he's late for the swing!
0:15:12 > 0:15:14They are going for it.
0:15:14 > 0:15:18Yes! A great catch from Khadie this time.
0:15:18 > 0:15:20Oh, but Peter's out of control.
0:15:22 > 0:15:25Slowly. Don't throw it and don't touch the floor.
0:15:25 > 0:15:29Well, she is carefully lowering it down into the tub...
0:15:29 > 0:15:30And yes!
0:15:30 > 0:15:32THEY CHEER
0:15:32 > 0:15:33Next one, come on!
0:15:33 > 0:15:35They've got to get back up.
0:15:35 > 0:15:37The higher they go, the more difficult it becomes.
0:15:37 > 0:15:40Team claw are already looking worried.
0:15:40 > 0:15:46Impressively, the heights don't seem to be bothering Khadie or Peter.
0:15:46 > 0:15:49Three, two, one, swing!
0:15:50 > 0:15:52Another swing!
0:15:52 > 0:15:54Oh!
0:15:54 > 0:15:56They're being very careful and cautious.
0:15:56 > 0:15:58They don't want to waste any cogs.
0:15:58 > 0:16:00They haven't got many to play with.
0:16:00 > 0:16:01Ready? Three...
0:16:01 > 0:16:04They're going again, straightaway.
0:16:04 > 0:16:07- Oh, no!- So close Peter.
0:16:07 > 0:16:11This is one of those games that is so much harder than it looks.
0:16:11 > 0:16:13- Swing!- Here they go again
0:16:13 > 0:16:15- Catch it! - THEY CHEER
0:16:15 > 0:16:17And this time they made it look easy!
0:16:17 > 0:16:20Khadie's still got to get back onto the ladder
0:16:20 > 0:16:22and deliver the cog into the collection tub,
0:16:22 > 0:16:26while Peter climbs up to get the next cog. Great team work!
0:16:28 > 0:16:30And Khadie is getting into position now,
0:16:30 > 0:16:34the rest of Sting look concerned. Here she goes for the drop.
0:16:34 > 0:16:36Yes, it's in!
0:16:36 > 0:16:37THEY CHEER
0:16:37 > 0:16:40So, with just under half their time left
0:16:40 > 0:16:43Sting have matched Claw's final score.
0:16:43 > 0:16:46Now, can they do even better? Peter's poised with another cog,
0:16:46 > 0:16:49set to swing when Khadie's climbed back up.
0:16:49 > 0:16:52- Ready, Khadie? - Three, two, one, swing!
0:16:52 > 0:16:55They are going in again, looking good.
0:16:55 > 0:16:56Ooh!
0:16:57 > 0:16:59Keep your focus, come on, guys!
0:17:00 > 0:17:03Oh, no, Peter didn't get a hold of the ladder.
0:17:03 > 0:17:06He's wasting valuable time now.
0:17:06 > 0:17:10Yes, he is back and he is in position to try again.
0:17:10 > 0:17:15She has counted them in for another swing and what a catch!
0:17:15 > 0:17:18Come on, Khadie!
0:17:18 > 0:17:22Oh, no! She has lost all momentum. Nightmare!
0:17:22 > 0:17:25Khadie trying to reach but she is just missing out.
0:17:25 > 0:17:27I can't reach the tree!
0:17:27 > 0:17:30That means she is going to have to be lowered all the way down.
0:17:30 > 0:17:35How frustrating and, of course, that cog goes out of play.
0:17:35 > 0:17:38They need one more and they've beaten Team Claw.
0:17:40 > 0:17:43But they have only got just over a minute and a half left
0:17:43 > 0:17:48and each and every climb back up is more exhausting for Khadie.
0:17:48 > 0:17:50Three, two, one.
0:17:51 > 0:17:54Oh, and they are swinging out again and the throw,
0:17:54 > 0:17:58- Yes!- Khadie has caught it, all she has to do is get down that ladder.
0:17:58 > 0:18:01But at this stage in the game that's much harder than it looks.
0:18:01 > 0:18:04- This is really draining work. - Khadie going down.
0:18:04 > 0:18:06They are working great together,
0:18:06 > 0:18:09Khadie and Peter never worked together before.
0:18:09 > 0:18:12Before they were rivals and now they are team-mates.
0:18:12 > 0:18:15And it seems to be getting results.
0:18:16 > 0:18:17Come on!
0:18:17 > 0:18:19She is carefully going for the drop.
0:18:20 > 0:18:23- Yes!- Come on, Khadie!
0:18:23 > 0:18:25So, that's three cogs in the tub
0:18:25 > 0:18:29and that means Sting are the winners here, but have they realised?
0:18:29 > 0:18:32They're not sure how many cogs Team Claw got,
0:18:32 > 0:18:33so they're want to make sure.
0:18:33 > 0:18:37They're keeping going, but there is so little time left.
0:18:37 > 0:18:3820 seconds left now.
0:18:38 > 0:18:40One, two, three!
0:18:40 > 0:18:42Here they go once again and they look shattered!
0:18:42 > 0:18:44Oh, but that is a great catch!
0:18:44 > 0:18:48They have got another cog. Can they get it in before the time is up?
0:18:48 > 0:18:52It's going to be really tough, Khadie looks so tired.
0:18:52 > 0:18:53THEY CHEER
0:18:53 > 0:18:55Three, two, one...
0:18:55 > 0:18:57She's dropped it and it's gone in!
0:18:57 > 0:19:01What a drop and what a finish from Khadie,
0:19:01 > 0:19:03but how was Flight Of Fear for Team Sting?
0:19:05 > 0:19:08The hardest part was when you had to release the cog.
0:19:08 > 0:19:10I am happy that on the last 20 seconds
0:19:10 > 0:19:13I listened to my team to just drop it.
0:19:15 > 0:19:17And it's a good thing you did, Khadie,
0:19:17 > 0:19:21because you sealed the deal on an impressive turn from you and Peter,
0:19:21 > 0:19:25which really showed up the contrasts between the teams.
0:19:25 > 0:19:27Where Team Claw went for the highest cogs,
0:19:27 > 0:19:30causing Lizzie to climb up and down, exhausting her,
0:19:30 > 0:19:32which ate into their time,
0:19:32 > 0:19:36Team Sting went for the lower, quicker to deal with, cogs.
0:19:36 > 0:19:38Where Claw became exasperated
0:19:38 > 0:19:41with Zach and Lizzie not communicating well enough...
0:19:41 > 0:19:42Talk to each other.
0:19:42 > 0:19:45..Team Sting must have been delighted to see Khadie and Peter
0:19:45 > 0:19:47working so well together.
0:19:47 > 0:19:51And where Claw dropped three cogs and had one bounce out of their tub,
0:19:51 > 0:19:53Sting only dropped one cog
0:19:53 > 0:19:57and lost another when Khadie had to be lowered down to the ground.
0:19:57 > 0:20:01It all added up to a comfortable 4-2 win for Team Sting
0:20:01 > 0:20:04in this first Sting verses Claw island challenge
0:20:04 > 0:20:07and it means they will collect the treasure,
0:20:07 > 0:20:08the Silver Butterfly.
0:20:11 > 0:20:13Well, thrills and spills galore!
0:20:13 > 0:20:16That looked like the toughest challenge yet.
0:20:16 > 0:20:18- Guys, was that pretty difficult? ALL:- Yeah.
0:20:18 > 0:20:21It looked easy, but it really, really wasn't.
0:20:21 > 0:20:25It was, er, and especially, my hands were OK
0:20:25 > 0:20:27cos I didn't have to do as much as Lizzie,
0:20:27 > 0:20:30but Lizzie's hands have got blisters on,
0:20:30 > 0:20:34the amount of up and down she had to do must have really killed.
0:20:34 > 0:20:36Of course, I didn't think about that.
0:20:36 > 0:20:39You didn't have to go down as many times, did you?
0:20:39 > 0:20:41Lizzie, you were up and down so quickly!
0:20:41 > 0:20:42What was difficult for you?
0:20:42 > 0:20:46Just the holding on to it cos the ladder's moving around.
0:20:46 > 0:20:49So, it's all about balance, but who won today's island challenge?
0:20:49 > 0:20:51The first challenge between Sting and Claw.
0:20:53 > 0:20:56We are going to find out at tonight's island fire.
0:20:56 > 0:20:58THEY GRUMBLE Sorry, guys!
0:20:59 > 0:21:01Captain James takes a moment
0:21:01 > 0:21:04to analyse what went wrong for Team Claw.
0:21:04 > 0:21:05Go down!
0:21:05 > 0:21:07Zach, go down or Lizzie, go up.
0:21:07 > 0:21:08No!
0:21:10 > 0:21:12I think it all went wrong by communication
0:21:12 > 0:21:15because before they started counting down to go
0:21:15 > 0:21:17he said, "Lizzie, we're going right to the top,"
0:21:17 > 0:21:20and I was like, "What you are doing?"
0:21:20 > 0:21:23Lizzie, should we go to the top one first?
0:21:23 > 0:21:25'I don't think he did it on purpose.'
0:21:25 > 0:21:28I think he might have misunderstood because I said,
0:21:28 > 0:21:31"Why don't you go about their-ish and work your way down?",
0:21:31 > 0:21:34and I thought he might think I was pointing to the top.
0:21:35 > 0:21:37Zach, go down!
0:21:37 > 0:21:39Zach, just go down or Lizzie, go up.
0:21:39 > 0:21:43I was screaming like anything and it was so loud
0:21:43 > 0:21:47and all of them speaking at once, it was confusing.
0:21:47 > 0:21:49'I had to shout down and then up
0:21:49 > 0:21:52'and then I had to also communicate with Lizzie.'
0:21:52 > 0:21:55Zach you need to push harder.
0:21:55 > 0:22:00'You're trying to listen, but you're also trying to get the cog as well.
0:22:00 > 0:22:02Lizzie you have to go higher,
0:22:02 > 0:22:05otherwise you are not going to be close enough.
0:22:05 > 0:22:10What we were trying to do was swing down and then Zach drop it
0:22:10 > 0:22:12and then I catch it below him,
0:22:12 > 0:22:15but then the rest of the team didn't seem to agree.
0:22:15 > 0:22:20'They didn't understand the concept of what was happening.'
0:22:20 > 0:22:21Go up!
0:22:22 > 0:22:23THEY GROAN
0:22:23 > 0:22:28James isn't very happy and James is a bit upset of his choices
0:22:28 > 0:22:29and I think he is feeling a bit down
0:22:29 > 0:22:32cos he doesn't think he did well as a captain.
0:22:32 > 0:22:34'Which he did, he did do well.'
0:22:36 > 0:22:39I think Zach might feel like he lost the challenge today
0:22:39 > 0:22:42and he really thinks it was him himself that did it,
0:22:42 > 0:22:44but I don't, that's how the cookie crumbles.
0:22:44 > 0:22:47It doesn't always work the way you want it to work.
0:22:52 > 0:22:57James and Zach meet up at the rusty car to discuss the island challenge.
0:22:57 > 0:22:59James, you know the end, when, er,
0:22:59 > 0:23:06I, sort of, felt like you and Dilhan were, sort of, really mad at me.
0:23:06 > 0:23:09Were you, or were you just concentrating at the game?
0:23:09 > 0:23:14We were a bit mad at you because you seemed to be doing one thing,
0:23:14 > 0:23:16but then, it looks much easier than it actually is...
0:23:16 > 0:23:18You know how I was telling you,
0:23:18 > 0:23:21"I'll be perfect for that challenge?"
0:23:21 > 0:23:22Yes, it's much harder.
0:23:22 > 0:23:25Well, it looked perfect for me, but it just wasn't. I'm sorry.
0:23:25 > 0:23:28Yes, I think that's why we were a bit mad,
0:23:28 > 0:23:30but we weren't really mad at you.
0:23:30 > 0:23:33Just a bit, like, I would say a bit argumentative about it
0:23:33 > 0:23:36because we thought we could have done better,
0:23:36 > 0:23:39but it really looks, it looks really easy.
0:23:40 > 0:23:44- Shall we just move on from this and set it aside now?- Yeah, OK.
0:23:44 > 0:23:46- Deal?- Friends.
0:23:48 > 0:23:52The dust has settled and the adventurers are about to find out
0:23:52 > 0:23:55who has won today's challenge at the island fire.
0:23:57 > 0:24:03The only place where the island will communicate directly with the teams.
0:24:06 > 0:24:10Team Sting, how was your first day together as a team?
0:24:10 > 0:24:12- Brilliant.- Amazing.
0:24:12 > 0:24:14Jeremy, what was so good about it?
0:24:14 > 0:24:16Cos we all really bonded really quickly
0:24:16 > 0:24:18and it was faster than we expected.
0:24:18 > 0:24:23We have got to a point where we have trusted everyone now.
0:24:23 > 0:24:26So, it looks like Team Sting are bonding. How about Team Claw?
0:24:26 > 0:24:30- It was a tough island challenge today, wasn't it?- Yes.
0:24:30 > 0:24:33We bonded, but a loss, in one way, is a win
0:24:33 > 0:24:38because we win the knowledge of how to work better in a team.
0:24:38 > 0:24:40OK, that's good, positive thinking.
0:24:40 > 0:24:45Today, both teams took part in Flight Of Fear.
0:24:45 > 0:24:47As you know, only one team can be the winner
0:24:47 > 0:24:51and only the island knows who that winner is.
0:24:52 > 0:24:55The team that beat the island in Flight Of Fear is...
0:25:06 > 0:25:07..Sting!
0:25:07 > 0:25:08THEY CHEER
0:25:10 > 0:25:11Well done, Sting.
0:25:11 > 0:25:13- Congratulations, guys. Nice surprise?- Yeah.
0:25:13 > 0:25:17Not only have you won the challenge, you've also won the Butterfly.
0:25:17 > 0:25:20It represents your change and growth on the island.
0:25:20 > 0:25:23However, only one of you can own the Butterfly.
0:25:23 > 0:25:24That's right
0:25:24 > 0:25:27and that treasure will go to the adventurer
0:25:27 > 0:25:30you think was the most valuable team-mate.
0:25:30 > 0:25:32Every night, at the island fire,
0:25:32 > 0:25:36only one adventurer from the winning team can be awarded the treasure,
0:25:36 > 0:25:39but what is the true significance of these treasures?
0:25:39 > 0:25:43The island knows, but will not let on just yet.
0:25:45 > 0:25:47THEY WHISPER
0:25:48 > 0:25:50You don't mind do you, Peter?
0:25:50 > 0:25:52Yeah, OK.
0:25:52 > 0:25:54Thank you.
0:25:54 > 0:25:58So, guys, you have had a talk, who have you voted for?
0:25:58 > 0:26:00- Khadie.- Khadie. Why have you chosen Khadie?
0:26:00 > 0:26:04She was up and down that ladder so fast today,
0:26:04 > 0:26:07we are all so proud of her and we think she did SUCH a good job.
0:26:07 > 0:26:10Well, Khadie, congratulations, step forward.
0:26:10 > 0:26:14You have been voted the most valuable adventurer.
0:26:14 > 0:26:15APPLAUSE
0:26:24 > 0:26:27Well, so far, Sting are in the lead with four island treasures,
0:26:27 > 0:26:29Claw only have two.
0:26:29 > 0:26:32Who would you like to see win the next island treasure?
0:26:32 > 0:26:35You can catch all the action online now,
0:26:35 > 0:26:39- we will see you next time on Escape From Scorpion Island.- Bye.- Bye.
0:26:41 > 0:26:45Next time, captain for Claw, Eleanor faces the toughest battle she's had
0:26:45 > 0:26:47to bring a treasure home for her team.
0:26:47 > 0:26:51I would really like to wipe the smile off Sting's faces.
0:26:51 > 0:26:55But captain Jeremy is determined to cement Sting's lead.
0:26:55 > 0:27:00I am going to lead them to victory, not Claw obviously.
0:27:00 > 0:27:03The Sting and Claw rivalry is about to reach boiling point.
0:27:03 > 0:27:08- Friendship today, not tomorrow. Yeah?- Deal.
