0:00:20 > 0:00:23But jubilation turned to despair when once again,

0:00:23 > 0:00:26Sting snatched the Island Treasure.

0:00:30 > 0:00:33With the final escape looming ever closer,

0:00:33 > 0:00:37Claw must do everything they can to win the next Island Treasure.

0:00:37 > 0:00:40We have to win, no matter what happens.

0:00:40 > 0:00:43But the island has decided to shake things up.

0:00:43 > 0:00:46The island is giving us no break today.

0:00:46 > 0:00:48It's pure challenges.

0:00:48 > 0:00:52And today will force the adventurers to go head-to-head

0:00:52 > 0:00:54in a multitude of gruelling trials.

0:00:54 > 0:00:58But in this arduous test, some will face their fears.

0:00:58 > 0:01:01It would seriously be a disppointment

0:01:01 > 0:01:04if I were the one to lose for the team.

0:01:04 > 0:01:06Whilst others feel the burn.

0:01:06 > 0:01:08Keep them up, Khadie. You're pushing your luck.

0:01:08 > 0:01:12Everything is about to change on Scorpion Island.

0:01:39 > 0:01:42Hello, and welcome to Escape From Scorpion Island -

0:01:42 > 0:01:45the island that's as unpredictable as the weather.

0:01:45 > 0:01:46- I'm Johny. - And I'm Myleene.

0:01:46 > 0:01:50Two teams of adventurers are battling it out against the island.

0:01:50 > 0:01:53Their only mission - to escape. But this is a tricky place,

0:01:53 > 0:01:55and only one team will escape on the final day.

0:01:55 > 0:02:00Scorpion Island relishes in its splendid isolation,

0:02:00 > 0:02:06and uses its natural world as its impenetrable defence system.

0:02:06 > 0:02:10The island is teeming with life, its precious treasure.

0:02:12 > 0:02:16In recent times, an adventurer came from far across the seas.

0:02:16 > 0:02:19He was a fortune hunter whose mission it was

0:02:19 > 0:02:21to plunder the island of its legendary treasure.

0:02:26 > 0:02:29He took on the island's challenges and succeeded,

0:02:29 > 0:02:32but when he failed in his final escape, the furious island

0:02:32 > 0:02:37mischievously captured the fortune hunter's spirit and locked it away.

0:02:43 > 0:02:48So what happened to the mysterious fortune hunter all those years ago?

0:02:48 > 0:02:51And what role does he play in the final race to escape?

0:02:51 > 0:02:54All we know is he's mysteriously helping our adventurers,

0:02:54 > 0:02:56but the island is trying to stop him and the teams.

0:02:56 > 0:02:59It's all about winning the Island Treasures,

0:02:59 > 0:03:02and last time, Sting won the ninth - the coral sponge.

0:03:02 > 0:03:05Here's what happened at the island fire last night.

0:03:09 > 0:03:13Well, now it's time to reveal which team captains will be playing

0:03:13 > 0:03:15in tomorrow's Island Challenge.

0:03:26 > 0:03:31Congratulations, Dilhan and Khadie! You're going to be playing tomorrow.

0:03:31 > 0:03:35- Anything that you guys are going to do differently?- Win again!

0:03:35 > 0:03:38Win again? So you don't want to do anything differently?

0:03:38 > 0:03:40We're going to continue our streak,

0:03:40 > 0:03:44- and then going to win another treasure.- You are on quite a streak!

0:03:44 > 0:03:46- Dilhan, what have you got to say to that?- Em...

0:03:46 > 0:03:49You need to make some big changes.

0:03:49 > 0:03:52Enjoy sucking up and mopping the floor with your sponge!

0:03:52 > 0:03:55We're going to win something a bit better than a sponge, hopefully.

0:03:55 > 0:03:58Listen, guys, you might laugh at the sponge,

0:03:58 > 0:04:00but it is an Island Treasure.

0:04:00 > 0:04:01And the Island Treasures

0:04:01 > 0:04:04really do count towards the final race to escape.

0:04:04 > 0:04:08So Dilhan from Claw faces Khadie from Sting.

0:04:08 > 0:04:11They took each other on when the boys faced the girls,

0:04:11 > 0:04:14but then it was Dilhan who was on the winning team.

0:04:16 > 0:04:19And Khadie was playing catch-up.

0:04:19 > 0:04:23How will the captains cope now the tables have turned?

0:04:23 > 0:04:27We are going to concentrate tomorrow on winning and we have to catch up.

0:04:27 > 0:04:32We're falling behind a lot now, and we really need the Island Treasures

0:04:32 > 0:04:34as well for the final escape.

0:04:34 > 0:04:38I want to win so badly because it would be a great feeling to know

0:04:38 > 0:04:41that you're part of that team which won,

0:04:41 > 0:04:45and the feeling would be a great feeling.

0:04:45 > 0:04:48So it's our adventurers' tenth day on the island.

0:04:48 > 0:04:51So far, Sting are in the lead with seven Island Treasures.

0:04:51 > 0:04:52Claw still have only two.

0:04:52 > 0:04:54Remember, the more Island Treasures they win,

0:04:54 > 0:04:57the greater their advantage in the final race to escape.

0:04:57 > 0:05:01Let's go to the camps and see what they were all up to this morning.

0:05:04 > 0:05:08The island has unleashed a torrent of rain on the adventurers,

0:05:08 > 0:05:11and even the old fortune hunters' rusty metal camps

0:05:11 > 0:05:14are taking a battering from the hard showers.

0:05:15 > 0:05:20Over in a rainy tree camp, Team Sting are brimming with confidence.

0:05:20 > 0:05:24They've won an impressive seven Island Treasures.

0:05:24 > 0:05:27They may be in the lead, but they can't afford to let their guard down.

0:05:27 > 0:05:31So, Jeremy has decided to run a karate lesson.

0:05:31 > 0:05:33Right guys, I'm a red belt in karate.

0:05:33 > 0:05:36To get you all in the fighting spirit,

0:05:36 > 0:05:41- I'm going to teach you a little bit of karate. Is that OK?- Yeah.

0:05:41 > 0:05:43Punch!

0:05:43 > 0:05:45All the way round and down.

0:05:46 > 0:05:49Punch!

0:05:49 > 0:05:5090 degrees.

0:05:52 > 0:05:57Meanwhile, Team Claw, after days of losing, know how important it is

0:05:57 > 0:06:01that they win their first challenge of the day, the Code Cracker.

0:06:01 > 0:06:04Right, we've got to get through to the 2nd round.

0:06:04 > 0:06:06You've got to work as fast as you can,

0:06:06 > 0:06:09because if we win this for once,

0:06:09 > 0:06:12and then you lose it in the Code Cracker, it would be so devastating

0:06:12 > 0:06:16if we actually won the first trial, and then lose the second round.

0:06:16 > 0:06:20I think everyone's got to work their hardest as much as they can.

0:06:20 > 0:06:27The day has come, and I think today Claw are fighting back.

0:06:27 > 0:06:32There's a couple of days left until we escape this horrid place

0:06:32 > 0:06:39and we're going to escape and hopefully leave Sting behind.

0:06:39 > 0:06:41We have to win, no matter what happens,

0:06:41 > 0:06:44we have to pull together as a team and do our best.

0:06:44 > 0:06:46No pressure, no pressure.

0:06:46 > 0:06:50No pressure at all. If everyone gives their 100%, that's fine.

0:06:50 > 0:06:53Even if we lose, everyone's tried their best.

0:06:53 > 0:06:55You can always say that. It doesn't really matter.

0:06:57 > 0:07:00But the adventurers are about to find out that today

0:07:00 > 0:07:02is a day like no other.

0:07:02 > 0:07:06The island, livid that one team will soon escape its clutches,

0:07:06 > 0:07:09has a devious plan to unsettle the adventurers,

0:07:09 > 0:07:13by sabotaging their daily routine.

0:07:13 > 0:07:17The adventurers will still take on the island in an Island Challenge,

0:07:17 > 0:07:22but first, Sting and Claw must face three separate trials.

0:07:22 > 0:07:26The winner of each trial will be awarded a five-second advantage.

0:07:27 > 0:07:31So there are a total of 15 seconds up for grabs,

0:07:31 > 0:07:35and the teams will take the time advantage they won from the trials

0:07:35 > 0:07:38to the Island Challenge when they play for today's treasure.

0:07:40 > 0:07:43But the adventurers can sense the change.

0:07:43 > 0:07:45I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

0:07:45 > 0:07:48Don't know whether the island wants to mix up our teams,

0:07:48 > 0:07:50or if he wants to swap a few of us around,

0:07:50 > 0:07:53or whether the island wants to be really devious,

0:07:53 > 0:07:54or if he wants to make sure

0:07:54 > 0:07:57it's hard for us to get to the Fortune Hunter and escape.

0:07:57 > 0:07:59I really don't know what's happening.

0:08:01 > 0:08:03Some adventurers are confused,

0:08:03 > 0:08:06but because the island's making changes,

0:08:06 > 0:08:10the Fortune Hunter must prepare the teams for this change.

0:08:13 > 0:08:16Once again, the adventurers must piece together the shards

0:08:16 > 0:08:20of the symbol ring, but this is not like any ring they've seen before.

0:08:20 > 0:08:22It's made up of numbers.

0:08:24 > 0:08:27The numbers have changed it completely now.

0:08:27 > 0:08:30Can you see the piece that goes in here?

0:08:30 > 0:08:32Look at the colour of it was well.

0:08:32 > 0:08:36Now, will who piece the new symbol ring together in the quickest time?

0:08:37 > 0:08:41Only five pieces make the ring complete.

0:08:41 > 0:08:43The adventurers may have memorised

0:08:43 > 0:08:46the way the symbol ring was put together,

0:08:46 > 0:08:48but that knowledge has been ripped from them.

0:08:48 > 0:08:51Any familiarity with the symbol ring has gone.

0:08:51 > 0:08:53That one there! This!

0:08:53 > 0:08:54- This?- Yes!

0:08:56 > 0:08:57There, the seven!

0:08:57 > 0:09:00You need a small piece to go there.

0:09:01 > 0:09:06However, even with a new number ring, Team Sting look confident.

0:09:10 > 0:09:14That's it, Sting completed it the quickest.

0:09:14 > 0:09:18So, Team Sting may have mastered the Fortune Hunter's puzzle,

0:09:18 > 0:09:21but they must prove themselves in the next stage of the trial,

0:09:21 > 0:09:25with the chance of winning the first time advantage up for grabs.

0:09:30 > 0:09:34This time, the new number ring will relate to the symbols.

0:09:34 > 0:09:37Natty and Khadie have to work out an equation

0:09:37 > 0:09:41and each symbol on the board relates to a number.

0:09:42 > 0:09:45They must line up the correct number to each symbol

0:09:45 > 0:09:48and work out the missing numbers that complete the equation

0:09:48 > 0:09:51and place them into empty boxes.

0:09:53 > 0:09:56If they identify these three numbers correctly,

0:09:56 > 0:09:58they will have cracked the code.

0:09:58 > 0:10:03Ladies, you're going to have three minutes to try and crack this code.

0:10:03 > 0:10:06It's going to involve a lot of number crunching. How's your maths?

0:10:06 > 0:10:07Pretty good.

0:10:07 > 0:10:10- How is your maths?- Pretty good. - Excellent.

0:10:10 > 0:10:12- Are you ready?- Yes.

0:10:12 > 0:10:173, 2, 1, go!

0:10:18 > 0:10:21OK, the square equals nine, so...

0:10:23 > 0:10:26Square equals nine. Got it.

0:10:26 > 0:10:31- OK, the mountain, the mountain one.- Yes.- What does that equal?

0:10:31 > 0:10:34This has got to be the most difficult Code Cracker yet.

0:10:34 > 0:10:37The confusion starts almost immediately.

0:10:37 > 0:10:39No, to do with the numbers, the numbers.

0:10:39 > 0:10:42It says two on it.

0:10:42 > 0:10:44No, no, don't use these, use the numbers.

0:10:44 > 0:10:48So what number does that equal? OK?

0:10:48 > 0:10:49Maybe that's what it is,

0:10:49 > 0:10:52- what does the monkey equal in the numbers?- Seven.

0:10:52 > 0:10:55The monkey symbol is lined up with the number seven.

0:10:55 > 0:10:57Umm, what are the mountains?

0:10:59 > 0:11:00Three.

0:11:03 > 0:11:04That cactus thing.

0:11:04 > 0:11:06Erm, two.

0:11:07 > 0:11:09The X?

0:11:09 > 0:11:10Minus.

0:11:11 > 0:11:15Mountains were three, weren't they?

0:11:15 > 0:11:16Cloud?

0:11:16 > 0:11:21Cloud, erm, plain cloud is five.

0:11:21 > 0:11:22Erm, Jail.

0:11:22 > 0:11:23Erm...

0:11:26 > 0:11:27That is 8.

0:11:29 > 0:11:35OK, erm, the X with the... in a square.

0:11:35 > 0:11:38X in a square, equals.

0:11:38 > 0:11:40Equals.

0:11:40 > 0:11:42Two knives.

0:11:42 > 0:11:45Erm, X, times.

0:11:49 > 0:11:51- Shark.- One.

0:11:53 > 0:11:55They're focused.

0:11:55 > 0:11:58Now they have to do the maths and fill in the blanks

0:12:02 > 0:12:05But as the rain pours, Natty's feeling the pressure,

0:12:05 > 0:12:09and Claw have spotted that she's written the wrong answer in the box.

0:12:09 > 0:12:14372 minus 358 is 14, not 72.

0:12:16 > 0:12:18From this point on, the sum will never work,

0:12:18 > 0:12:20and time is running out fast.

0:12:20 > 0:12:265, 4, 3, 2, 1.

0:12:26 > 0:12:27CHEERING

0:12:27 > 0:12:31- They've got it wrong and time is up. - We won by doing nothing!

0:12:31 > 0:12:34The Code Cracker was the first trial

0:12:34 > 0:12:37and this means Team Claw have won the first five seconds up for grabs.

0:12:37 > 0:12:40Claw, congratulations, you're the winners

0:12:40 > 0:12:42and you win the time advantage

0:12:42 > 0:12:44for the challenge later on today.

0:12:44 > 0:12:46I'm guessing you're pretty happy about that.

0:12:46 > 0:12:50Well, we look forward to seeing them play the next challenge.

0:12:50 > 0:12:53So, Sting and Claw know that the island is testing them

0:12:53 > 0:12:55in a series of trials today.

0:12:55 > 0:12:59But the Fortune Hunter also knows of the island's plans.

0:12:59 > 0:13:02He too went through the very same trials on his 10th day,

0:13:02 > 0:13:05and intends to help the adventurers.

0:13:07 > 0:13:09Now that team captains Khadie and Dilhan

0:13:09 > 0:13:11know today's different, they're checking to see

0:13:11 > 0:13:14if the Fortune Hunter has left them a message.

0:13:16 > 0:13:20They've found his note and gather both teams at River Camp.

0:13:20 > 0:13:23"On my 10th day, there was a different test from the island.

0:13:23 > 0:13:27"So, the island will be testing you today.

0:13:27 > 0:13:30"Who's the strongest? All will be revealed.

0:13:30 > 0:13:34"Team captains, pick two players today."

0:13:34 > 0:13:37Well, we'll have to pick two.

0:13:37 > 0:13:42The island's giving us no break today.

0:13:42 > 0:13:47It's pure challenges, pure hard strength and finding out

0:13:47 > 0:13:49the strengths and weaknesses for the final escape

0:13:49 > 0:13:52so we can trap some of us here.

0:13:52 > 0:13:55Dilhan know the remaining trials will be formidable.

0:13:55 > 0:13:57He and Khadie have to pick two team-mates,

0:13:57 > 0:13:59each worthy of taking on the island.

0:14:00 > 0:14:02It's decision time.

0:14:03 > 0:14:08Well, I'm going to pick James and Eleanor.

0:14:09 > 0:14:16James is the, the strong person, the person that's a bit more emotional

0:14:16 > 0:14:18and he is just really strong hearted.

0:14:19 > 0:14:24From what happened yesterday, I'm going to pick Peter...

0:14:25 > 0:14:30Peter...is a very, as they say, nimble person.

0:14:30 > 0:14:35He's really quite good at everything, really.

0:14:35 > 0:14:40He's a really good part of the team and he contributes so much

0:14:40 > 0:14:43that he makes us win a lot.

0:14:44 > 0:14:47And...

0:14:53 > 0:14:56Peter and...

0:14:56 > 0:14:59Oh!

0:15:01 > 0:15:04Peter and...

0:15:04 > 0:15:06From yesterday, Jordan as well.

0:15:08 > 0:15:11Jordon is a very smart person.

0:15:11 > 0:15:13He's amazing at the memory challenges

0:15:13 > 0:15:15and code cracker challenges.

0:15:15 > 0:15:20He's also very good with his rope skills and going upside down.

0:15:26 > 0:15:30On this unusual day, Team Claw really need to win the Island Treasure

0:15:30 > 0:15:34because Sting are in the lead with seven,

0:15:34 > 0:15:36while Claw still have only two.

0:15:36 > 0:15:39Their final day on the island is getting close

0:15:39 > 0:15:43and both Sting and Claw want the Island Treasure

0:15:43 > 0:15:46because the more their team is awarded, the greater the advantage

0:15:46 > 0:15:48they'll gain in the final race to release

0:15:48 > 0:15:52the Fortune Hunter's spirit and escape.

0:15:54 > 0:15:58The 10th Island Treasure to be won is the Clam Shell.

0:16:00 > 0:16:03Lurking at the bottom of the deep and cavernous ocean,

0:16:03 > 0:16:06the Clam Shell represents the scheming island

0:16:06 > 0:16:09and how it can trap the adventurers at any time -

0:16:09 > 0:16:11just like the Fortune Hunter's spirit.

0:16:18 > 0:16:22As Sting failed in the Code Cracker, this gave Claw the win,

0:16:22 > 0:16:26and they were rewarded with a five-second time advantage

0:16:26 > 0:16:28to take with into the Island Challenge,

0:16:28 > 0:16:29or rather Island Challenges,

0:16:29 > 0:16:33because the island has really mixed things up.

0:16:33 > 0:16:36It's making Sting and Claw enter into three ultra intense

0:16:36 > 0:16:37one-on-one face-offs.

0:16:37 > 0:16:42Ring of Steel, a test of strength and stamina,

0:16:42 > 0:16:45Waterfall, a test of bravery and tactics,

0:16:45 > 0:16:51and finally, Tower of Stones, a test of speed and mental agility.

0:16:51 > 0:16:52The winners of these games

0:16:52 > 0:16:56will be rewarded a further five-second advantage.

0:16:56 > 0:16:59And all of these advantages will be applied in the last

0:16:59 > 0:17:03extraordinary contest, that will determine which team

0:17:03 > 0:17:07takes the latest island treasure, the Clam Shell.

0:17:07 > 0:17:10Now, first up, it's Claw's captain Dilhan

0:17:10 > 0:17:13versus Sting's captain Khadie.

0:17:13 > 0:17:16This is the first time they've represented Sting and Claw

0:17:16 > 0:17:19on their own, but we've seen them throw everything

0:17:19 > 0:17:21into the team challenges.

0:17:21 > 0:17:26Khadie's demonstrated what a physical and courageous adventurer she is.

0:17:26 > 0:17:28Will these qualities help her to victory here?

0:17:28 > 0:17:33Dilhan has shown his competitive side and tactical prowess.

0:17:33 > 0:17:36Could these be just the traits he needs?

0:17:37 > 0:17:41Well, they're two outstanding captains,

0:17:41 > 0:17:43but who will win the next five-second advantage?

0:17:43 > 0:17:46Time to find out.

0:17:47 > 0:17:52Guys, welcome to the wettest part of Scorpion Island, the island's arena.

0:17:52 > 0:17:55That final race to escape is getting ever closer.

0:17:55 > 0:17:59The island's laid on a whole heap of challenges for you all.

0:17:59 > 0:18:03Playing the first challenge is Khadie and Dilhan.

0:18:03 > 0:18:06You're going to take on the Rings Of Steel.

0:18:10 > 0:18:13Right. Dilhan, Khadie, this will test your strength

0:18:13 > 0:18:15and definitely your stamina.

0:18:15 > 0:18:17Here's what'll happen.

0:18:17 > 0:18:19Your team mates are going to put the rings on your arms

0:18:19 > 0:18:24and you need to keep your arms aloft like this. Straight.

0:18:24 > 0:18:29If I see you putting them up higher or lower, the game will have ended.

0:18:29 > 0:18:32The player who manages to keep their arms straight

0:18:32 > 0:18:33for the longest time possible

0:18:33 > 0:18:36will be the winner.

0:18:36 > 0:18:42This is real pressure. Which captain has the stamina to triumph here?

0:18:42 > 0:18:45If your team mates could come in now, please

0:18:45 > 0:18:50and place the Rings Of Steel on the arms of the team captains.

0:18:50 > 0:18:52Hold your arms out straight

0:18:52 > 0:18:55and I'll be watching you like a hawk, guys.

0:18:55 > 0:18:59Remember, a total of a 15 seconds time advantage is available

0:18:59 > 0:19:03to the teams, but will it be Khadie or Dilhan who wins

0:19:03 > 0:19:05the five seconds up for grabs here?

0:19:06 > 0:19:09Team mates, release the Rings Of Steel.

0:19:09 > 0:19:11And here they go.

0:19:11 > 0:19:15Each of these rings is as heavy as ten fizzy-drink cans.

0:19:15 > 0:19:19Just imagine what this must feel like!

0:19:20 > 0:19:22Dilhan's closed his eyes.

0:19:22 > 0:19:24He's clearly trying to go deep within himself

0:19:24 > 0:19:28to take his mind off the sheer strain on his arms.

0:19:28 > 0:19:31Khadie's sailing so close to the wind.

0:19:31 > 0:19:32With this sagging,

0:19:32 > 0:19:35it's a wonder the island hasn't called time already.

0:19:35 > 0:19:37Keep those arms aloft Khadie,

0:19:37 > 0:19:40I don't want to see them drooping too far.

0:19:40 > 0:19:43She doesn't look like she's enjoying this,

0:19:43 > 0:19:46and having had her first public warning, she's really got to focus.

0:19:46 > 0:19:49What amazing fortitude this is.

0:19:49 > 0:19:53They've been keeping the rings up for more than 30 seconds now.

0:19:53 > 0:19:56The island clearly wants to see them suffer.

0:19:56 > 0:20:00Ooh, and Khadie's starting to look properly uncomfortable.

0:20:00 > 0:20:03Dilhan seems so determined.

0:20:03 > 0:20:08Looking at his face you wouldn't know he was carrying anything at all.

0:20:17 > 0:20:20Keep those arms aloft. I don't want to see them drooping.

0:20:20 > 0:20:25And Khadie is raising her arms, but the tension is getting to her.

0:20:25 > 0:20:28This must be so worrying for the rest of Team Sting.

0:20:28 > 0:20:32Keep them up, Khadie, I'm watching you. You're pushing your luck.

0:20:37 > 0:20:42Oh, and Dilhan might be as strong as an ox, but he is feeling the burn.

0:20:42 > 0:20:45They've been holding the rings up for almost a minute and a half.

0:20:45 > 0:20:50This is becoming a real endurance challenge.

0:20:50 > 0:20:53But Khadie's let this ring slip down to her wrist.

0:20:53 > 0:20:57It's got to be so uncomfortable, and it's left her totally unbalanced.

0:20:57 > 0:21:02Oh, Dilhan's starting to control his breathing.

0:21:02 > 0:21:04The longer Rings Of Steel goes on,

0:21:04 > 0:21:08the more it becomes a mental, as well as physical challenge.

0:21:08 > 0:21:10Khadie's looking really distressed now

0:21:10 > 0:21:13and she's letting her rings droop right down,

0:21:13 > 0:21:15while Dilhan's are still horizontal.

0:21:15 > 0:21:18Surely she's not going to be able to pull back from this?!

0:21:18 > 0:21:20It's got to be the end for her!

0:21:20 > 0:21:23Khadie, I'm going to have to stop the game there.

0:21:23 > 0:21:26Dilhan, you can now drop the Rings Of Steel.

0:21:26 > 0:21:30Khadie, that was so close. Your arms must have been aching so much there.

0:21:30 > 0:21:35It was really sagging on me and in the end I was creaking

0:21:35 > 0:21:40to the right and creaking to the left, and then I dropped down.

0:21:40 > 0:21:43I could feel everywhere shaking and it was like, "Aaargh!"

0:21:43 > 0:21:45And I was "I'm not going to drop this,

0:21:45 > 0:21:47"I'm never going to drop it until she drops it."

0:21:47 > 0:21:51Well, Dilhan, it was a hugely impressive display.

0:21:51 > 0:21:57You showed some signs of discomfort, but never any hint you might give in.

0:21:57 > 0:22:00Khadie, on the other hand, struggled right from the start.

0:22:00 > 0:22:04She did show terrific perseverance in keeping her rings aloft,

0:22:04 > 0:22:08more or less, for over two minutes. But it clearly felt like a lifetime,

0:22:08 > 0:22:13and so, when Johny had to call time, there was no doubting which captain

0:22:13 > 0:22:15had come out on top here.

0:22:15 > 0:22:19So, what do their team mates think of their captain's performances

0:22:19 > 0:22:20in the Rings Of Steel?

0:22:20 > 0:22:25- It was easier for Dilhan because he is quite strong.- A power house.

0:22:25 > 0:22:30Yeah, he was quite strong and good stamina.

0:22:30 > 0:22:35But he told us that he could have gone another 20 seconds

0:22:35 > 0:22:38and not even moved his arms.

0:22:38 > 0:22:42The Rings of Steel, I think Dilhan and Khadie, they did really well, but

0:22:42 > 0:22:46- Dilhan, I think, he was just the powerhouse.- Yeah.

0:22:46 > 0:22:48He's definitely a powerhouse.

0:22:48 > 0:22:51He was so determined and he arms straight.

0:22:51 > 0:22:56All the way through. Whereas Khadie, I think her got bent.

0:22:56 > 0:23:01She was just tired after a while and she just gave up.

0:23:02 > 0:23:05Peter and Zach are the firmest of friends, but now they are on

0:23:05 > 0:23:09different teams, Sting and Claw rivalry is always present.

0:23:10 > 0:23:14I think Claw are still putting 100% effort even though we're losing.

0:23:14 > 0:23:16But I think Sting have given up a bit.

0:23:16 > 0:23:18I absolutely disagree with that.

0:23:18 > 0:23:22I think as the escape day looms closer we're getting more tired

0:23:22 > 0:23:26and both of the teams are getting tired.

0:23:26 > 0:23:31Really, I don't think Sting is relaxing and, you know,

0:23:31 > 0:23:35chilling, because they are in front.

0:23:35 > 0:23:37But we are still putting in 110%,

0:23:37 > 0:23:41and we will keep it that way all the way through.

0:23:41 > 0:23:45As we get closer to the escape, as a whole team

0:23:45 > 0:23:51we, I think, we're not relaxing or laying about, we're, you know,

0:23:51 > 0:23:54we're at 100%, 110%!

0:23:54 > 0:23:59You can't relax, mate, you've got Claw on your behind.

0:24:10 > 0:24:13This may be an extraordinary day,

0:24:13 > 0:24:16but Claw have seized the opportunity for a comeback

0:24:16 > 0:24:19and have netted two five-second advantages.

0:24:19 > 0:24:22And team captain Dilhan is pleased,

0:24:22 > 0:24:26because this is the first time he has personally won a challenge.

0:24:26 > 0:24:30I won for the team, and I am really proud of myself.

0:24:30 > 0:24:34Being team captain and winning the same day, I'm very proud of myself.

0:24:34 > 0:24:39My team are extremely happy with me because they saw that determination

0:24:39 > 0:24:43and the shakiness of my face and my arms and my legs

0:24:43 > 0:24:48have led to a wonderful victory and a five-second advantage.

0:24:48 > 0:24:50But now he knows that he's going to have to hand over

0:24:50 > 0:24:53to the rest of the team to keep up the pace.

0:24:53 > 0:24:57My time has come to show my full potential.

0:24:57 > 0:25:00Now it's up to the rest of the team.

0:25:00 > 0:25:04Now James and Eleanor for Claw

0:25:04 > 0:25:08will face Peter and Jordan for Sting.

0:25:08 > 0:25:14But now Sting have fallen behind, their captain, Khadie, is concerned.

0:25:14 > 0:25:18I'm a little bit worried about how Sting are doing today

0:25:18 > 0:25:21and I hope they'll do well in the next challenge,

0:25:21 > 0:25:24so we can still have an all right advantage

0:25:24 > 0:25:28and hopefully still win the Island Treasure.

0:25:28 > 0:25:31Claw won the Code Cracker, now they've won the Rings Of Steel.

0:25:31 > 0:25:32It's time for the next challenge.

0:25:38 > 0:25:42The island made the captains select who was going to play for each team.

0:25:42 > 0:25:48For Sting, Khadie chose Jordan, while for Claw, Dilhan chose James.

0:25:48 > 0:25:50Having both been captains themselves,

0:25:50 > 0:25:54they have both represented their teams on their own before now.

0:25:54 > 0:25:57Jordan put in a courageous performance in Hard Wired,

0:25:57 > 0:26:01and James absolutely threw himself into Flight of Fear.

0:26:01 > 0:26:04So they are two rock-solid adventurers, but there can only be

0:26:04 > 0:26:09one winner, and here is what they're taking on.

0:26:13 > 0:26:19This is Waterfall - a mighty wall with three holes through it.

0:26:19 > 0:26:23An adventurer on one side of it has to choose a seat under one

0:26:23 > 0:26:27of these holes before their opponent on the other side tips a bucketful

0:26:27 > 0:26:30of freezing water through a hole of his choosing.

0:26:30 > 0:26:34James and Jordan will both have three turns at pouring,

0:26:34 > 0:26:37and three turns at trying not to get soaked.

0:26:37 > 0:26:41One point is earned for every drenching they give each other,

0:26:41 > 0:26:47and whoever ends up with the most points wins. Sounds extremely simple,

0:26:47 > 0:26:51but in fact, Waterfall is a real mind game in which you've really got to

0:26:51 > 0:26:58think through every move and you only win if you outwit your adversary.

0:26:58 > 0:27:02So will it be Jordan or James who's crafty enough to triumph here

0:27:02 > 0:27:05and bag the last five-second time advantage for their team?

0:27:08 > 0:27:12- Jordan and James, are you ready? - Ready!

0:27:12 > 0:27:15Jordan, take your final position.

0:27:15 > 0:27:18So James is pouring first and that means Jordan

0:27:18 > 0:27:21is going to be doing everything he can to dodge the water.

0:27:21 > 0:27:25It will be very interesting to see where he goes first.

0:27:25 > 0:27:28It might seem like just a game of chance,

0:27:28 > 0:27:31but actually, this is deeply tactical.

0:27:31 > 0:27:34He's made his decision, so now it's up to James to make his first choice,

0:27:34 > 0:27:38and of course, he has a one-in-three chance of soaking Jordan.

0:27:38 > 0:27:42Jordan's getting worried. OK, James, pour!

0:27:42 > 0:27:48He went for the nearside hole and that means it's a miss.

0:27:48 > 0:27:50Good news for Jordan and gutting for James.

0:27:50 > 0:27:53But this is where it gets really interesting.

0:27:53 > 0:27:57Jordan's selected the nearside seat without hesitation.

0:27:57 > 0:28:02He's banking on James not pouring through the same hole twice in a row.

0:28:02 > 0:28:07So no points yet for James and Team Claw.

0:28:07 > 0:28:09Pour!

0:28:09 > 0:28:11It's a hit! He got him.

0:28:11 > 0:28:16That's one point for James and Team Claw and a very drenched Jordan.

0:28:16 > 0:28:18James double bluffs Jordan here,

0:28:18 > 0:28:23cunningly repeating himself to pour just where Jordan least expected.

0:28:23 > 0:28:25OK, we're going to go to the final round.

0:28:25 > 0:28:28Jordan, please take your final position.

0:28:33 > 0:28:34He's having a think.

0:28:36 > 0:28:38It must be horrible waiting,

0:28:38 > 0:28:42sitting in that seat knowing that something's coming.

0:28:42 > 0:28:46Is Jordan now trying to play James at his own bluffing game

0:28:46 > 0:28:48and take the same position again?

0:28:52 > 0:28:55He is! He's chosen the nearside seat.

0:28:55 > 0:28:59So, will James keep consistent and go nearside too?

0:28:59 > 0:29:03Jordan seems worried he's about to fall straight into a trap of James's.

0:29:03 > 0:29:08- But no, he's gone for the middle. - And it's a miss, so that's it.

0:29:08 > 0:29:11One point for Team Claw and James. Let's have a look at that again.

0:29:14 > 0:29:18James and Jordan seemed evenly matched here. Jordan wrongly assumed

0:29:18 > 0:29:21James wouldn't pour through the same hole twice in a row,

0:29:21 > 0:29:27and got soaked as a consequence, much to James's delight.

0:29:27 > 0:29:30But then, after much deliberation, Jordan turned the tactical tables

0:29:30 > 0:29:35on his opponent, opting to sit in the same position twice in a row himself.

0:29:35 > 0:29:38So he avoided James's last bucket load, meaning midway through this

0:29:38 > 0:29:45challenge, James has only scored one point. Will Jordan do any better?

0:29:45 > 0:29:48Still to come - despite their lead,

0:29:48 > 0:29:50there are concerns in Claw about their attitude.

0:29:50 > 0:29:53When we're positive, you act like winners.

0:29:53 > 0:29:56When you're negative, you act like losers. That's what you're doing.

0:29:56 > 0:30:01James feels the pressure to win for his team...

0:30:01 > 0:30:05It was really scary, I didn't know where to go.

0:30:05 > 0:30:09..but Sting's Jordan isn't going down without a fight. Jordan, pour!

0:30:09 > 0:30:13At the end when James just screamed, he was like, "Aargh!"

0:30:13 > 0:30:14HE SCREAMS

0:30:16 > 0:30:20And it rests on Peter's shoulders to bring it back for Sting.

0:30:20 > 0:30:26It would be a disappointment if I were the one to lose for the team.

0:30:26 > 0:30:28And that's it, stop the clock.

0:30:37 > 0:30:41Claw maybe riding on a winning streak today,

0:30:41 > 0:30:44but the impact of losing to Sting four times in a row

0:30:44 > 0:30:46- has left its mark. - STING CHEER

0:30:48 > 0:30:52When he was captain, Zach was on a mission to boost Claw's morale

0:30:52 > 0:30:55and get them thinking positive.

0:30:55 > 0:30:57I'm getting all of Team Claw swimming, to have some fun.

0:30:57 > 0:30:59Thought it might be a nice idea.

0:30:59 > 0:31:06Just try and keep the team positive and make sure Claw has some hope.

0:31:06 > 0:31:09Today he wants to make sure Claw stay on track.

0:31:09 > 0:31:12I know I say this every day...

0:31:12 > 0:31:14No, we're not going to be positive.

0:31:14 > 0:31:16But you have to be positive.

0:31:16 > 0:31:20Stop saying it. You say it every day.

0:31:20 > 0:31:22Zach, we've got your point about being positive,

0:31:22 > 0:31:25but you can't force us to be positive.

0:31:25 > 0:31:28Yes, I know. I'm not saying to be over positive,

0:31:28 > 0:31:30I'm saying not to be negative

0:31:30 > 0:31:33cos that's all you guys are doing and it's bringing me down.

0:31:33 > 0:31:35- We're not being too negative. - You are!

0:31:35 > 0:31:38It's good being that negative because at least,

0:31:38 > 0:31:41when we do win, hopefully we do win, we're surprised.

0:31:41 > 0:31:46If we're being negative then we haven't anything to disappoint us...

0:31:46 > 0:31:47- We act, so...- Listen.

0:31:47 > 0:31:51But then, if we're negative, if we do win, it's even better.

0:31:51 > 0:31:54Yeah. When we're positive you act like winners.

0:31:54 > 0:31:57When you're negative you act like losers and that's what you're doing.

0:31:57 > 0:32:02- It's just annoying.- That's how we are. We want to be like this.

0:32:02 > 0:32:05You know you can be positive. I've seen you positive,

0:32:05 > 0:32:07you just choose not to be.

0:32:07 > 0:32:11Like, we're being positive except not over positive,

0:32:11 > 0:32:15we are actually continuing to try and not giving up

0:32:15 > 0:32:17and so we're still working as a team,

0:32:17 > 0:32:21but after the challenges have been finished,

0:32:21 > 0:32:23even though we might be losing,

0:32:23 > 0:32:25we're still trying to work harder to win.

0:32:25 > 0:32:28We're not actually saying, "I quit, I quit, I can't play any more,"

0:32:28 > 0:32:30we still keep going. We all do.

0:32:30 > 0:32:32We want to keep as a team,

0:32:32 > 0:32:35even though people have their differences between each other,

0:32:35 > 0:32:37let's leave it. Don't fight over it,

0:32:37 > 0:32:41otherwise we'll split up like Sting and it's all going to turn bad.

0:32:41 > 0:32:42Even though we're losing,

0:32:42 > 0:32:46we'll lose by more in the final challenge. If we keep like this,

0:32:46 > 0:32:49we're not going to do our best or try our best.

0:32:49 > 0:32:51We're all going to go our separate ways.

0:32:51 > 0:32:55We have to stick together now. This is the major part of it.

0:32:55 > 0:32:56We cannot split now.

0:32:56 > 0:32:59As long as I'm positive

0:32:59 > 0:33:06and you two, you three, maybe just...stay as you are,

0:33:06 > 0:33:10but are a bit more positive, then I will be happy.

0:33:10 > 0:33:13If I could be a bit less positive

0:33:13 > 0:33:16then we can just all be friends

0:33:16 > 0:33:21and win the challenges and hopefully escape from Scorpion Island.

0:33:21 > 0:33:23Claw have come to an understanding

0:33:23 > 0:33:27and now they must face Sting in the second half of Waterfall.

0:33:32 > 0:33:34In Waterfall, James and Jordan

0:33:34 > 0:33:38are competing for a five-second time advantage for their team-mates

0:33:38 > 0:33:42in the last of today's singular spread of island challenges.

0:33:42 > 0:33:45In the first half we saw Jordan on one side of a massive wall,

0:33:45 > 0:33:48choosing one of three holes to sit under,

0:33:48 > 0:33:51before James on the other side selected through which hole

0:33:51 > 0:33:55he was going to tip a bucketful of icy water.

0:33:55 > 0:33:59This played out three times. It seemed straightforward,

0:33:59 > 0:34:03but it actually proved to be a real game of strategy.

0:34:03 > 0:34:07James managed one soaking, ramping up the pressure on Jordan,

0:34:07 > 0:34:11who now needs to score at least two to win.

0:34:11 > 0:34:15It's the second half and this time James is doing the dodging for Claw,

0:34:15 > 0:34:18while Jordan is pouring the water for Sting.

0:34:18 > 0:34:21- Jordan, are you ready?- Ready.

0:34:21 > 0:34:23- James, are you ready?- Yeah.

0:34:23 > 0:34:24Take your position.

0:34:24 > 0:34:28James is making his first crucial choice of seat.

0:34:28 > 0:34:32Oh, and he's gone for the far side. Just where Jordan went for first.

0:34:32 > 0:34:36But the question is which hole is Jordan going to pour through now?

0:34:38 > 0:34:41James looks terrified he's going to get a drenching.

0:34:41 > 0:34:43- Jordan, pour!- He's gone near side.

0:34:45 > 0:34:48And it's a miss and a very relieved James.

0:34:49 > 0:34:52Intriguingly, both adventurers repeat each other's opening gambits

0:34:52 > 0:34:56in the first half, sitting far side and pouring near side.

0:34:56 > 0:35:00No score for Jordan here, but how will the strategic battle continue?

0:35:02 > 0:35:05James is choosing again. He's gone nearside.

0:35:05 > 0:35:09- James, I need a thumbs up. - So what's Jordan's next move?

0:35:09 > 0:35:11He's stepping really cautiously.

0:35:11 > 0:35:14He doesn't want to make any give-away noise,

0:35:14 > 0:35:17but yes, he's going near side again, too.

0:35:19 > 0:35:23Oh, and it's a direct hit. He's hit the target.

0:35:23 > 0:35:28Once again, James and Jordan both go for the same tactics

0:35:28 > 0:35:31as their opponent did at this point in the first half -

0:35:31 > 0:35:34sitting near side and pouring near side.

0:35:34 > 0:35:36Was James boldly trying a double bluff?

0:35:36 > 0:35:41If so, it really backfired and it means it is 1-1.

0:35:41 > 0:35:44The best James can now hope for for Claw is a draw.

0:35:44 > 0:35:47So can Jordan make his final bucketful count?

0:35:47 > 0:35:53If Jordan manages to hit the target on this pour, he'll have won.

0:35:53 > 0:35:56So, James, pick very carefully.

0:35:56 > 0:35:58I want you to pick your final position.

0:35:58 > 0:36:02What will James do? He doesn't want to get soaked again

0:36:02 > 0:36:04and so he's crept over to the far side.

0:36:04 > 0:36:07Is this a good decision?

0:36:08 > 0:36:11They both seem unbelievably nervous.

0:36:13 > 0:36:17OK, Jordan, remember, this is to win this point. It's crucial.

0:36:17 > 0:36:18What can he do?

0:36:18 > 0:36:22Oh, it seems like he's already decided where he's going.

0:36:22 > 0:36:24James looks petrified and he's right to be,

0:36:24 > 0:36:29Jordan has gone far side too, as if he read his rival's mind.

0:36:29 > 0:36:32- He is struggling to reach, but, yes! - Aaaargh!

0:36:32 > 0:36:36Ha-ha-ha! And the scream indicates

0:36:36 > 0:36:38that Jordan did, in fact, hit the target.

0:36:38 > 0:36:41Oh, it was really scary, I didn't know where to go.

0:36:41 > 0:36:44My tactic was to sit on where it just went,

0:36:44 > 0:36:47but I thought, as he's already been there twice,

0:36:47 > 0:36:50he might go there for the third time because he knew he hit me

0:36:50 > 0:36:54and so I came here and I got soaked.

0:36:54 > 0:36:59At the end, when James just screamed he was like "arrrrgh!"

0:36:59 > 0:37:03because he knew he had lost. It was just so relieving

0:37:03 > 0:37:06because you knew you'd got the time advantage

0:37:06 > 0:37:08and you're helping your team-mates.

0:37:11 > 0:37:15Jordan sounds proud of his efforts here and well he might be

0:37:15 > 0:37:18because this was a close run challenge

0:37:18 > 0:37:19which might have gone either way.

0:37:19 > 0:37:23The first half saw James trick Jordan

0:37:23 > 0:37:25by pouring through the same hole twice

0:37:25 > 0:37:30then Jordan flipped this by sitting in the same place twice.

0:37:33 > 0:37:36And the second half started exactly the same way,

0:37:36 > 0:37:40with James sitting where Jordan had and Jordan pouring where James had,

0:37:40 > 0:37:42to gain precisely the same result.

0:37:42 > 0:37:46It was as if they were daring each other to break the pattern.

0:37:46 > 0:37:50All that split the adventurers were their third turns.

0:37:50 > 0:37:52In the first half,

0:37:52 > 0:37:55James depended upon Jordan moving to a new position and missed,

0:37:55 > 0:37:57while in the second half,

0:37:57 > 0:38:00Jordan relied on James going back to where he started

0:38:00 > 0:38:03and achieved the decisive drenching.

0:38:05 > 0:38:07So it's a 2-1 victory for Jordan

0:38:07 > 0:38:11and it means Sting win this final five-second time advantage

0:38:11 > 0:38:15for the last of today's extraordinary Island Challenges.

0:38:15 > 0:38:20I am here with a very wet Jordan and James. How did you find that round?

0:38:20 > 0:38:22- Wet.- Wet, yeah, that's one way to describe it.

0:38:22 > 0:38:26Well, Jordan, you won this round, but you'll both be taking

0:38:26 > 0:38:29your time advantages into the final round - the Tower Of Stones.

0:38:33 > 0:38:37The island made the captains pick who was to play for their teams.

0:38:37 > 0:38:42For Sting, Khadie chose Peter while for Claw, Dilhan chose Eleanor.

0:38:42 > 0:38:45As they both captained their teams,

0:38:45 > 0:38:48they've both got experience of competing on their own.

0:38:48 > 0:38:53Eleanor showed her speed and her strength in Double Crossing

0:38:53 > 0:38:57while Peter showed both mental and physical strength in the Jigzag.

0:38:59 > 0:39:01So they are two terrific adventurers,

0:39:01 > 0:39:03but only one of them can win here.

0:39:04 > 0:39:07Remember, whoever wins this challenge

0:39:07 > 0:39:11will win today's Island Treasure - the clam shell.

0:39:11 > 0:39:15- Lots to play for. Feeling the pressure?- Yeah.

0:39:15 > 0:39:19Basically, you can see the Tower Of Stones there,

0:39:19 > 0:39:22all you've got to do is get that Tower Of Stones

0:39:22 > 0:39:24onto the last plinth. Sounds easy.

0:39:24 > 0:39:27Well, nothing is ever that easy on Scorpion Island.

0:39:27 > 0:39:30What you've got to do is make sure that you never

0:39:30 > 0:39:33let a small piece be underneath a big piece.

0:39:33 > 0:39:36So a smaller piece must always be on top of a larger piece.

0:39:36 > 0:39:38Now, you can use this middle plinth, here.

0:39:38 > 0:39:42You can go back and forth as many times as you want,

0:39:42 > 0:39:44but only move one piece at a time

0:39:44 > 0:39:48and the team player who manages to complete this in the quickest time

0:39:48 > 0:39:50will win today's Island Treasure.

0:39:50 > 0:39:54However, as Sting won Waterfall, they have one time advantage

0:39:54 > 0:39:58and five seconds will be removed from Peter's final time,

0:39:58 > 0:40:02but as Claw have won both the Code Cracker and Rings Of Steel,

0:40:02 > 0:40:04they have two time advantages

0:40:04 > 0:40:07and ten seconds will be taken off Eleanor's final time.

0:40:07 > 0:40:09And of course, those five extra seconds

0:40:09 > 0:40:13could really mean the difference between winning and losing.

0:40:13 > 0:40:15So now it's time to get ready

0:40:15 > 0:40:18for some top notch, top speed puzzling,

0:40:18 > 0:40:20to find out who is top dog.

0:40:20 > 0:40:21This game might sound simple,

0:40:21 > 0:40:25but there are a multitude of different ways to play it.

0:40:25 > 0:40:27When you have completed the challenge

0:40:27 > 0:40:31we'll take away all the time you've earned across today's challenges.

0:40:31 > 0:40:33- Are you ready, guys?- Ready.

0:40:33 > 0:40:36It's time to play the Tower Of Stones.

0:40:39 > 0:40:42Eleanor is up first for Claw.

0:40:42 > 0:40:45- Eleanor, are you ready?- Yes.

0:40:45 > 0:40:49In three, two, one, go!

0:40:50 > 0:40:53And she's off. This is great speed and yep, the smallest piece

0:40:53 > 0:40:56is all the way over, now one to the middle.

0:40:56 > 0:40:59And it really seems like she knows what she is doing.

0:40:59 > 0:41:01Has she got it all worked out?

0:41:02 > 0:41:04Pretty quick work.

0:41:04 > 0:41:07But of course, this challenge isn't simply about speed,

0:41:07 > 0:41:11it's about brain power too. There's no use racing along here

0:41:11 > 0:41:15unless you know... Oh! Is Eleanor starting to look a bit confused?

0:41:15 > 0:41:18After a confident start, perhaps she's realising

0:41:18 > 0:41:19what she's up against.

0:41:19 > 0:41:23It's a lot harder than it looks. There's definitely a method to it

0:41:23 > 0:41:25and if you haven't cracked that method,

0:41:25 > 0:41:27you could be here a long time.

0:41:27 > 0:41:29And that would be really bad news for Team Claw

0:41:29 > 0:41:34who desperately need the win here to up their island treasure count.

0:41:34 > 0:41:37Eleanor's moving fast and looking decisive.

0:41:37 > 0:41:38It seems as if she's working hard

0:41:38 > 0:41:42to get down to the largest stone and clear the end plinth for it.

0:41:42 > 0:41:44Could moving that one across

0:41:44 > 0:41:47be the key to solving this oh, so devious puzzle?

0:41:48 > 0:41:50Well, she has reached it

0:41:50 > 0:41:53and she has to give it her all to move it across.

0:41:53 > 0:41:55I think Eleanor might have sussed it.

0:41:55 > 0:41:58Well, even if she has, she's certainly not finished yet.

0:41:58 > 0:42:01There's a long way still to go and she...

0:42:01 > 0:42:05Oh, no! Is she losing faith in her plan?

0:42:05 > 0:42:09The trouble is, every move dictates the ones that follow it.

0:42:09 > 0:42:10You've got to keep going,

0:42:10 > 0:42:15but even one mistake can snowball into a world of wasted moves.

0:42:15 > 0:42:17But no, this is starting to look really good.

0:42:17 > 0:42:21She's surely on the home straight now.

0:42:21 > 0:42:23Just four more moves and then she's got it.

0:42:23 > 0:42:26That's two stones in position, there's the third,

0:42:26 > 0:42:29just a tiny one left to go, and yes!

0:42:29 > 0:42:30Stop the clock!

0:42:33 > 0:42:35That was very nerve-racking

0:42:35 > 0:42:39because I'd sussed out what to do at the start and then I was like,

0:42:39 > 0:42:42"What the heck do I do now?" but then I got it.

0:42:42 > 0:42:45Fingers crossed, Peter doesn't get it as quickly as I did.

0:42:47 > 0:42:50Well, Eleanor, this was a terrific effort.

0:42:50 > 0:42:54You moved quickly and placed the stones with great self assurance.

0:42:56 > 0:43:00There were moments where she seemed to falter, but she did manage

0:43:00 > 0:43:05to move the Tower Of Stones in an impressive, 1 minute and 39 seconds.

0:43:05 > 0:43:06Can Peter go any faster,

0:43:06 > 0:43:09and what will be the impact of the time advantages

0:43:09 > 0:43:12the teams played for in the earlier challenges?

0:43:13 > 0:43:18Now Peter's up for Sting. He was confident in the earlier challenges

0:43:18 > 0:43:22as part of the team, but the prospect of facing the island alone

0:43:22 > 0:43:24is making him nervous.

0:43:24 > 0:43:27It would seriously be a big embarrassment and a disappointment

0:43:27 > 0:43:31if I were the one to lose for the team.

0:43:31 > 0:43:33I would feel so gutted.

0:43:33 > 0:43:36- Peter, are you ready?- Ready.

0:43:36 > 0:43:40Three, two, one, go!

0:43:40 > 0:43:42And he's off.

0:43:42 > 0:43:45Same first move as Eleanor and he's going so quickly too.

0:43:45 > 0:43:51Peter is known for being a brainbox, but can he figure out this puzzle?

0:43:51 > 0:43:54Oh, that was a pointless move.

0:43:54 > 0:43:56Unless it's the bottom one,

0:43:56 > 0:43:59there's no benefit to moving a solo stone to an empty plinth.

0:43:59 > 0:44:01Eleanor made a couple of these bad moves too,

0:44:01 > 0:44:05and so, if Peter wants to waste less of his precious time,

0:44:05 > 0:44:09he's got to focus and try to avoid making simple mistakes.

0:44:09 > 0:44:13Oh, no! And he's looking really unsure of himself now.

0:44:13 > 0:44:15But he's keeping the pace up.

0:44:15 > 0:44:20The question is, is he making all the right moves with the stones

0:44:20 > 0:44:22or just causing himself even more problems?

0:44:24 > 0:44:27This must be worrying for the rest of Team Sting.

0:44:27 > 0:44:30You can almost hear Peter's brain whirring away.

0:44:30 > 0:44:33Has pressure put paid to his puzzling prowess?

0:44:33 > 0:44:35Looks like he's stuck.

0:44:35 > 0:44:38In fact, this looks like an utter mid-game meltdown.

0:44:38 > 0:44:41He's ground to an almost complete halt.

0:44:41 > 0:44:45And he's looking uncertain about all of these moves

0:44:47 > 0:44:51Oh, but this is an important moment. He's hauling the biggest stone

0:44:51 > 0:44:54- across to its final position. - He's definitely making some headway.

0:44:54 > 0:44:57And what's more, for all the hesitation,

0:44:57 > 0:44:59he got the largest stone over

0:44:59 > 0:45:03a full eight seconds quicker than Eleanor got hers in position.

0:45:03 > 0:45:07This challenge is going down to the wire.

0:45:07 > 0:45:12Oh, that's another wasteful move and he's slowed right down again.

0:45:12 > 0:45:15Whoa, he nearly slipped over, but this is good stuff.

0:45:15 > 0:45:18He's really ramping up his speed

0:45:18 > 0:45:21and you can see his confidence levels are back to maximum too.

0:45:21 > 0:45:26He knows he's just two moves away from completing the tower.

0:45:26 > 0:45:28- And there it is. - That's it, stop the clock.

0:45:30 > 0:45:33Before the game, I literally had butterflies flying in my stomach

0:45:33 > 0:45:35and I was really, really nervous.

0:45:35 > 0:45:39But after starting the game, I think I got the swing of it,

0:45:39 > 0:45:44but I don't really know if it's good enough to beat Eleanor.

0:45:47 > 0:45:50Well, Peter, it was incredibly close

0:45:50 > 0:45:52and both of you did your teams proud here.

0:45:54 > 0:45:58The Tower Of Stones is a legendarily fiendish puzzle,

0:45:58 > 0:46:00with a near limitless number of solutions.

0:46:00 > 0:46:05However, it is possible to complete the transfer of the four-stone tower

0:46:05 > 0:46:06in just 15 moves.

0:46:09 > 0:46:13Eleanor set about it with enormous vigour and clear focus.

0:46:13 > 0:46:17She did have minor moments of panic, but battled on through.

0:46:18 > 0:46:21Peter was really nervous before he started

0:46:21 > 0:46:24and seemed to cycle through giant peaks of confidence

0:46:24 > 0:46:29and deep troughs of uncertainty before reaching completion.

0:46:29 > 0:46:34It took Eleanor 28 moves to finish moving the Tower Of Stones,

0:46:34 > 0:46:37but Peter only needed 22.

0:46:37 > 0:46:39So he was only seven away from perfection

0:46:39 > 0:46:43and this much greater level of efficiency was enough

0:46:43 > 0:46:46to compensate for his moments of inactivity,

0:46:46 > 0:46:49giving him a finishing time of 1 minute 30 seconds

0:46:49 > 0:46:51to Eleanor's 1 minute and 39.

0:46:54 > 0:46:55But don't forget,

0:46:55 > 0:46:59the teams had been collecting five second time advantages.

0:46:59 > 0:47:02In the Code Cracker...

0:47:02 > 0:47:03which Claw won.

0:47:05 > 0:47:06In Rings Of Steel...

0:47:06 > 0:47:09Khadie, sorry, I have to stop the game there.

0:47:09 > 0:47:11..which Claw also won.

0:47:13 > 0:47:15And in Waterfall, which Sting won.

0:47:18 > 0:47:22That's one advantage for Sting, but two for Claw.

0:47:24 > 0:47:26So, ten seconds comes off Eleanor's time

0:47:26 > 0:47:29putting her on 1 minute and 29 seconds,

0:47:29 > 0:47:31while five come of Peter's time,

0:47:31 > 0:47:35leaving him on 1 minute and 25 seconds.

0:47:36 > 0:47:40And that means, by just four seconds, Peter is the winner,

0:47:40 > 0:47:44it's Sting who'll take the latest island treasure - the clam shell.

0:47:46 > 0:47:48It's a brilliant victory for Peter,

0:47:48 > 0:47:51but the sheer hecticness of achieving it

0:47:51 > 0:47:55might just have spoiled his enthusiasm for mental challenges.

0:47:55 > 0:47:59I do love doing puzzles and mental challenges,

0:47:59 > 0:48:05but after doing this one, I think... I don't want to do one ever again.

0:48:07 > 0:48:11Eleanor of Claw, Peter of Sting, that was pretty close.

0:48:11 > 0:48:13How did you find that last challenge?

0:48:13 > 0:48:15When I first saw it, I was like,

0:48:15 > 0:48:18"Oh, my gosh. I am going to be so rubbish at this!"

0:48:18 > 0:48:19And then, when I got going,

0:48:19 > 0:48:22I sort of got into the swing of it and I did it quite fast.

0:48:22 > 0:48:25Peter, how did you find it? You were pretty speedy as well.

0:48:25 > 0:48:29Well, before the game, I was really, really nervous,

0:48:29 > 0:48:32but I think I surprised myself and I got into the swing of things.

0:48:32 > 0:48:36Well, I bet you're both wondering who won today's Island Treasure.

0:48:36 > 0:48:38Course.

0:48:38 > 0:48:43Team Sting, Team Claw, I am going to tell you at tonight's Island Fire.

0:48:50 > 0:48:52So, the Island Challenge is over,

0:48:52 > 0:48:57but the teams are left with no idea who has won the Island Treasure.

0:48:59 > 0:49:01Peter is worried about his efforts

0:49:01 > 0:49:04as he waits for the results at the Island Fire.

0:49:04 > 0:49:07In today's challenge, the Tower Of Stones,
