0:01:42 > 0:01:47- Hello and welcome to Scorpion Island. I'm Myleene.- And I'm Johny.

0:01:47 > 0:01:50It may look like a tropical paradise here, but the island is out

0:01:50 > 0:01:53to cause mischief for anyone who decides to visit.

0:01:53 > 0:01:56There are two teams on the island who are determined to escape

0:01:56 > 0:01:59its clutches and, believe me, they have had a tough ride of it so far.

0:01:59 > 0:02:02The pressure is mounting, cos only one team can escape

0:02:02 > 0:02:03on the final day.

0:02:03 > 0:02:07Scorpion Island relishes in its splendid isolation

0:02:07 > 0:02:12and uses its natural world as its impenetrable defence system.

0:02:12 > 0:02:16The island is teeming with life, its precious treasure.

0:02:18 > 0:02:23In recent times, an adventurer came from far across the seas.

0:02:23 > 0:02:26He was a fortune hunter, whose mission it was to plunder

0:02:26 > 0:02:28the island of its legendary treasure.

0:02:35 > 0:02:39He took on the island's challenges and succeeded,

0:02:39 > 0:02:41but when he failed in his final escape,

0:02:41 > 0:02:45the furious island mischievously caught the fortune hunter's spirit

0:02:45 > 0:02:47and locked it away.

0:02:54 > 0:02:58Now, ten adventurers must follow the path he created.

0:02:58 > 0:03:01Their mission - to escape the island.

0:03:01 > 0:03:05Sting and Claw must battle it out in terrifying challenges

0:03:05 > 0:03:08and the victors will win an island treasure.

0:03:08 > 0:03:11The more that they win, the greater advantage

0:03:11 > 0:03:13they will have in the final race to escape.

0:03:15 > 0:03:19The adventurers are about to find out who today's captains are going

0:03:19 > 0:03:23to be and little do they know that two former friends

0:03:23 > 0:03:25will become scorpion rivals.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27It's time to announce the team captains

0:03:27 > 0:03:30for tomorrow's island challenge.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41Congratulations, Eleanor and Jeremy.

0:03:41 > 0:03:44You guys are going to captain your team. How does that feel?

0:03:44 > 0:03:48- Great.- Are you ready to carry on Sting's winning streak?- Oh, yeah!

0:03:48 > 0:03:50No, won't happen.

0:03:50 > 0:03:54- No, girlfriend! - THEY LAUGH

0:03:54 > 0:03:57Eleanor, Jeremy, you were on the same team not long ago

0:03:57 > 0:04:01and now it's rivalry. How do you think you are going to beat Jeremy?

0:04:01 > 0:04:04I am going to beat her, obviously. How dare you question my winning?

0:04:04 > 0:04:07I'll win by communication and team work.

0:04:07 > 0:04:11The bad thing about it is they used to be really, really good

0:04:11 > 0:04:16friends on the team and stuck together and now they are...

0:04:16 > 0:04:18Battle partners!

0:04:19 > 0:04:22So, now we know the names of the new team captains,

0:04:22 > 0:04:26Jeremy and Eleanor, you'll go head to head in the first round

0:04:26 > 0:04:27of the challenge.

0:04:29 > 0:04:31Now it's time to find out who is going

0:04:31 > 0:04:34to compete in the second round of the island challenge.

0:04:46 > 0:04:48- Everyone. - THEY LAUGH

0:04:50 > 0:04:53After your team captains have gone head to head,

0:04:53 > 0:04:55everyone will then face each other

0:04:55 > 0:04:58in the second round of the challenge.

0:04:59 > 0:05:04Jeremy...and Eleanor will face each other as the new

0:05:04 > 0:05:08team captains of Sting and Claw.

0:05:08 > 0:05:10The battle is on, Jeremy.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12The battle is on, Eleanor!

0:05:12 > 0:05:14We're friends, though.

0:05:14 > 0:05:16Aren't we?

0:05:17 > 0:05:19- Awww!- Most of the time.

0:05:19 > 0:05:22- Friendship today, not tomorrow.- Deal.

0:05:32 > 0:05:35When Jeremy and Eleanor were in the girls' team,

0:05:35 > 0:05:37they were the firmest of friends.

0:05:37 > 0:05:39There was a little bit of tension between me

0:05:39 > 0:05:42and Eleanor, because when we started out

0:05:42 > 0:05:44we were really good friends

0:05:44 > 0:05:48and girls versus boys just added to that friendship

0:05:48 > 0:05:54and once we got split into Sting and Claw, we started to discuss

0:05:54 > 0:05:55what teams we would like to be in.

0:05:55 > 0:05:58- I would like Sting. - I would like Claw.

0:05:58 > 0:06:01See we're enemies already and see what it's doing to us,

0:06:01 > 0:06:05because we started bonding properly and we made this camp ours

0:06:05 > 0:06:10and then, boom, we have suddenly been told we are going to Sting and Claw.

0:06:10 > 0:06:14But the island has placed them in an impossible situation

0:06:14 > 0:06:18and these two friends must now face each other as rivals.

0:06:18 > 0:06:23We are good friends and I like beating friends.

0:06:23 > 0:06:26I don't know why, but I want to wipe the smile off her face.

0:06:27 > 0:06:31I'm going to be a better captain than Eleanor, obviously,

0:06:31 > 0:06:34because I'm going to make sure my team has the skills they need

0:06:34 > 0:06:37and I'm going to make sure I show them how it's done.

0:06:37 > 0:06:39I am going to lead them to victory.

0:06:39 > 0:06:44- Not Claw, obviously. - Not Sting.- Not Claw!

0:06:44 > 0:06:49Your imagination is good, so just keep imagining you are going to win.

0:06:50 > 0:06:53But the girls need to turn their words into action

0:06:53 > 0:06:56when they took on the island, just as the fortune hunter did

0:06:56 > 0:06:58all those years ago.

0:06:58 > 0:07:02Now he's helping Sting and Claw on their journey.

0:07:02 > 0:07:05He knows only the very best can escape this treacherous island

0:07:05 > 0:07:09and free his spirit, and has left a system of clues in a symbol ring

0:07:09 > 0:07:11to help them on their way.

0:07:15 > 0:07:18But the island, always furious that the fortune hunter is

0:07:18 > 0:07:24attempting to help Sting and Claw, has smashed the ring into pieces

0:07:24 > 0:07:29and now Eleanor and Jeremy, with their team mates, must attempt

0:07:29 > 0:07:33to piece the symbol ring together again in the fastest time.

0:07:33 > 0:07:35Three, two, one!

0:07:35 > 0:07:36Time starts now.

0:07:36 > 0:07:41- Khadie, how much do you remember? - Remember, eight pieces here now.

0:07:41 > 0:07:43Four pieces will not fit.

0:07:43 > 0:07:47Only four pieces will make the ring complete.

0:07:47 > 0:07:49No, it's this one.

0:07:49 > 0:07:51No, which one goes there?

0:07:51 > 0:07:54- There was a small one.- Can you see a square? Can you see a square?

0:07:54 > 0:07:58- Square...yes, got it! Is this part of the square?- Yes.

0:07:58 > 0:08:01Jeremy and Eleanor are both on a mission to beat each other.

0:08:01 > 0:08:03That one fits, it fits!

0:08:03 > 0:08:07Driving their team mates on, the captains have one goal.

0:08:07 > 0:08:10To win the right to play for the fortune hunter's

0:08:10 > 0:08:12island challenge advantage.

0:08:13 > 0:08:14Come on!

0:08:14 > 0:08:16- Come on!- Come on!

0:08:17 > 0:08:21- Finished!- Wow! That seems pretty quick, guys.

0:08:21 > 0:08:22Well done.

0:08:24 > 0:08:27Sting, lead by a determined Jeremy,

0:08:27 > 0:08:30may have mastered the fortune hunter's puzzle.

0:08:30 > 0:08:34Now, she must lead her team through to the next stage.

0:08:39 > 0:08:42The symbol ring has been placed on the code wheel.

0:08:42 > 0:08:45Each symbol relates to a letter of the alphabet.

0:08:47 > 0:08:50The fortune hunter has left a coded message on the board.

0:08:50 > 0:08:55It's a sentence that reveals a five-letter word.

0:08:55 > 0:08:59There are four parts of the sentence to decode and, for each part,

0:08:59 > 0:09:03a letter must be locked with a symbol to decipher the message.

0:09:03 > 0:09:06If Sting can identify the word correctly,

0:09:06 > 0:09:09they will earn the right to open the fortune hunter's old rusty

0:09:09 > 0:09:13filing cabinet and win his island challenge advantage.

0:09:13 > 0:09:17Khadie and Jeremy, welcome to the fortune hunter's code-cracker wheel.

0:09:17 > 0:09:22- Are you ready?- Yeah. - Your five minutes starts now.

0:09:22 > 0:09:24OK. Tell me the code.

0:09:24 > 0:09:29The message is in four parts and first Jeremy must lock the G

0:09:29 > 0:09:32with the triangle symbol to uncover the first section.

0:09:32 > 0:09:35Cactus. T.

0:09:39 > 0:09:43- That fish thing!- Yeah, fish. Keep it still, keep it still.

0:09:43 > 0:09:46Move it back to T, move it back to T, move it back to T.

0:09:46 > 0:09:48And the fish is O.

0:09:50 > 0:09:53Line and then semi-circle on top of it.

0:09:53 > 0:09:56- This one, this one. - No, the... Next to the shell!

0:09:56 > 0:10:00- You mean this one?!- Yeah.- That's W.

0:10:00 > 0:10:02Is it on the right? Snake, snake.

0:10:04 > 0:10:05This one... It's I.

0:10:07 > 0:10:09The cloud... Oh, it's N.

0:10:10 > 0:10:13OK, S=F.

0:10:13 > 0:10:17- There's a sign here. - Khadie has moved onto the next part,

0:10:17 > 0:10:21but first Jeremy must lock the Zigzag symbol to the letter F.

0:10:21 > 0:10:26OK, the triangle with the circle on top of it.

0:10:29 > 0:10:31- This one?- Yes.- W.

0:10:32 > 0:10:34OK, swap with me.

0:10:34 > 0:10:36- Lightning is R.- Yeah.

0:10:39 > 0:10:40The symbol thing!

0:10:40 > 0:10:44The cactus is I.

0:10:46 > 0:10:48No, it's T!

0:10:48 > 0:10:50No, we're on a different one.

0:10:50 > 0:10:57The pyramid is T. The black square is E.

0:10:58 > 0:11:00Jeremy moves onto the next section.

0:11:00 > 0:11:05The monkey symbol must lock to the letter K.

0:11:05 > 0:11:07Right-angled triangle.

0:11:10 > 0:11:14- R.- Black square.- A.

0:11:16 > 0:11:19This lip with a small line in the middle.

0:11:24 > 0:11:27- Come on, Khadie, we're nearly finished.- C! D! D!- D?!

0:11:29 > 0:11:31D, wait.

0:11:32 > 0:11:34- Come on, Khadie. - Yeah, it's D, D.

0:11:34 > 0:11:38- And the black square again is A? - Yeah!

0:11:38 > 0:11:43Radar and right-angled triangle... Ah!

0:11:43 > 0:11:47Radar! Then this shell equals U.

0:11:47 > 0:11:52Now the spiral shell symbol must lock to the letter U.

0:11:52 > 0:11:56- That's S!- No, horizon!

0:11:56 > 0:12:01- T.- Sun!- Sun!- O.

0:12:02 > 0:12:07- Right-angled triangle.- D!

0:12:07 > 0:12:11Oh, no. Instead of a D, Jeremy has written a P.

0:12:11 > 0:12:15OK. That was A.

0:12:15 > 0:12:21- A! Horn!- Pardon?- The horn! Look!- U!

0:12:22 > 0:12:26But they have got the last letter wrong, as we know

0:12:26 > 0:12:28the spiral shell symbol is a U.

0:12:29 > 0:12:33No, no wait that one is...

0:12:33 > 0:12:35That one is a Y.

0:12:38 > 0:12:41They have got the fortune hunter's message,

0:12:41 > 0:12:44but the seconds are fading fast. Will they get the word

0:12:44 > 0:12:48needed to win the fortune hunter's advantage?

0:12:49 > 0:12:56To win today, write radar. Radar.

0:12:57 > 0:12:59Sting have done it, with an impressive

0:12:59 > 0:13:01one minute and 32 seconds to spare.

0:13:02 > 0:13:05Congratulations, guys, you've got it. Radar, that's right.

0:13:05 > 0:13:10I was a little worried because at first it was "to win topay"

0:13:10 > 0:13:13- "Topay"?- I was like, "what?" And then I did "today".

0:13:13 > 0:13:16I got P from Khadie and I didn't understand it.

0:13:16 > 0:13:18Khadie, I heard you definitely say D, didn't you?

0:13:18 > 0:13:21- Yeah.- Oh, sorry, I might have heard P.- Must have misheard.

0:13:21 > 0:13:25But you have won today's code cracker challenge. Well done!

0:13:28 > 0:13:31Sting and Claw go back to their camps,

0:13:31 > 0:13:34and Jeremy wants to cement Sting's lead.

0:13:35 > 0:13:39I know we're doing really well, but we've got to make sure

0:13:39 > 0:13:42we win the next island challenge, cos if we do

0:13:42 > 0:13:45we're kind of three ahead, and that would be good.

0:13:45 > 0:13:50Because we have four and they only have two, and there's five left,

0:13:50 > 0:13:56if we win two more, that will put us to six, there will be three left,

0:13:56 > 0:14:00and if they only have two, if they win them, they'll still have five,

0:14:00 > 0:14:01and we'll still have won.

0:14:01 > 0:14:05Over in Claw, Eleanor thinks Jeremy has a more personal motivation.

0:14:05 > 0:14:08Jeremy is going to be really determined to win,

0:14:08 > 0:14:10because she's the only one in the team

0:14:10 > 0:14:12who doesn't have an island treasure.

0:14:12 > 0:14:14And so she really wants to win one.

0:14:14 > 0:14:17Now, Claw know what they need to do.

0:14:17 > 0:14:21If we lose today, it'll be five-two.

0:14:21 > 0:14:24Then we've only got four chances left.

0:14:24 > 0:14:27So we have to win every single one, otherwise.

0:14:27 > 0:14:29So we really have to win today.

0:14:29 > 0:14:31We've only got one chance to lose.

0:14:31 > 0:14:32Yeah.

0:14:32 > 0:14:34Sting are feeling confident.

0:14:34 > 0:14:39I think at the moment Team Claw aren't going too well.

0:14:39 > 0:14:42- As a team.- They're not working very effectively at all.

0:14:42 > 0:14:48I think that Team Claw is kind of jealous - not too jealous,

0:14:48 > 0:14:51because they're trying to find out...

0:14:51 > 0:14:54They're still learning how to communicate with each other,

0:14:54 > 0:14:57and we just got it straight away.

0:14:57 > 0:15:00Eleanor and Jeremy are about to take each other on in the first

0:15:00 > 0:15:04round of the island challenge, Double Crossing.

0:15:04 > 0:15:06This is a game of strength and balance,

0:15:06 > 0:15:10as they will each have to gather as many rusty cogs as possible

0:15:10 > 0:15:14at one end of a precarious runway, whilst the opposition will attempt

0:15:14 > 0:15:17to knock them off with huge boulders.

0:15:19 > 0:15:22But first, Team Sting are about

0:15:22 > 0:15:25to find out what their island challenge advantage is

0:15:25 > 0:15:27from the fortune hunter.

0:15:29 > 0:15:32The filing cabinet is one of the fortune hunter's relics.

0:15:32 > 0:15:36It materialises when a team has deciphered its code, and Sting's

0:15:36 > 0:15:40winning word, "radar", from the code cracker earlier, has unlocked it.

0:15:45 > 0:15:50"Congratulations for winning my island challenge advantage.

0:15:50 > 0:15:52"I want you to defeat the island.

0:15:52 > 0:15:55"Your team rival must start the challenge with nothing

0:15:55 > 0:15:58"and you will start with one rusty cog.

0:15:58 > 0:16:01"All will be revealed later."

0:16:01 > 0:16:04You have got the advantage, but will that make all the difference?

0:16:04 > 0:16:08We will find out in today's island challenge - Double Crossing.

0:16:09 > 0:16:14And in Double Crossing, Eleanor in Team Claw

0:16:14 > 0:16:17will be on a mission to win today's treasure for her team,

0:16:17 > 0:16:20because Sting are in the lead, with four treasures.

0:16:20 > 0:16:23Claw only have two.

0:16:23 > 0:16:27Sting and Claw want the island treasure because the more

0:16:27 > 0:16:30their team is awarded, the greater the advantage they will gain

0:16:30 > 0:16:34in the final race to release the fortune hunter's spirit,

0:16:34 > 0:16:37and escape.

0:16:37 > 0:16:40The seventh island treasure to be won is the Venus Fly Trap.

0:16:43 > 0:16:46Beautiful, but deadly.

0:16:46 > 0:16:49The Venus Fly Trap represents the manipulative island

0:16:49 > 0:16:53employing trickery at every turn.

0:16:56 > 0:17:00In round one, the island makes the teams' captains go head to head

0:17:00 > 0:17:03to try to win the advantage for their team mates

0:17:03 > 0:17:07when they compete for the latest island treasure in round two.

0:17:08 > 0:17:12So Claw's captain, Eleanor, is going to be battling

0:17:12 > 0:17:14Sting's captain, Jeremy.

0:17:14 > 0:17:17This is the first time they will be representing their new teams,

0:17:17 > 0:17:20but we have seen them giving it their all

0:17:20 > 0:17:22in the boys versus girls challenges.

0:17:22 > 0:17:26Eleanor was the girl's motivational power house,

0:17:26 > 0:17:29driving her team mates on in the toughest of conditions.

0:17:29 > 0:17:33Yes, Lizzie, you are doing amazing. Lizzie, you are brilliant.

0:17:33 > 0:17:35Can she push herself onto victory?

0:17:37 > 0:17:42Jeremy has already taken on her fear of water and come out on top.

0:17:42 > 0:17:46Come on, guys, faster, go, go, go.

0:17:46 > 0:17:50But today is going to be the greatest test of her bravery yet.

0:17:50 > 0:17:53Can she rise above her fears here?

0:17:54 > 0:17:56So these are two ultra-determined captains,

0:17:56 > 0:18:00and this will be a hard-fought challenge, because both

0:18:00 > 0:18:04really want their team to have the advantage in round two.

0:18:06 > 0:18:11And to win it for them, this is what the captains will have to take on.

0:18:11 > 0:18:14This is Double Crossing.

0:18:14 > 0:18:17Two parallel tracks stretched across

0:18:17 > 0:18:20one of the iciest lakes on the island.

0:18:22 > 0:18:25One is a super-slippery runway

0:18:25 > 0:18:28and one captain will be on it collecting cogs,

0:18:28 > 0:18:31delivering them and tying them onto the cable at the far end,

0:18:31 > 0:18:34which would all be fine if these cogs didn't start off attached

0:18:34 > 0:18:37to the giant boulders that the other captain is swinging

0:18:37 > 0:18:41right at her opponent from the more stable crossing.

0:18:41 > 0:18:45Jeremy and Eleanor will both take turns in delivering the cogs

0:18:45 > 0:18:48and swinging the boulders, and whoever manages to get more cogs

0:18:48 > 0:18:52tied on before the six minute clock runs out, wins.

0:18:55 > 0:18:58If a cog goes in the water before it reaches the end of the runway,

0:18:58 > 0:19:01it's out of play. And if a captain slips or is knocked in,

0:19:01 > 0:19:04then she has to swim back to the start of the runway,

0:19:04 > 0:19:07which will really waste precious seconds.

0:19:08 > 0:19:12Because Sting won the code cracker, Jeremy has the advantage here.

0:19:12 > 0:19:16She starts her delivery turn with an extra cog already tied on,

0:19:16 > 0:19:19meaning she has the potential to score more than Eleanor.

0:19:19 > 0:19:22But she is going to have to move ultra-fast

0:19:22 > 0:19:24to get all eight delivered in time.

0:19:24 > 0:19:29At stake here is an advantage for the victorious captain's side

0:19:29 > 0:19:32in round two, when the teams battle it out for the latest

0:19:32 > 0:19:35all-important island treasure.

0:19:35 > 0:19:39And you know that these great rivals are absolutely going to throw

0:19:39 > 0:19:41themselves into trying to win it.

0:19:42 > 0:19:45So, girls, you're going to be up against each other. How are you?

0:19:45 > 0:19:47- Great!- Excited.

0:19:47 > 0:19:50Last night I could feel the tensions rising.

0:19:50 > 0:19:52How do you think you'll do?

0:19:52 > 0:19:56I think I'll do OK. If Sting win this challenge,

0:19:56 > 0:20:00we'll make it harder for Claw, and we want to make it as hard as we can.

0:20:00 > 0:20:04But yesterday you had the advantage and we still won.

0:20:04 > 0:20:07- The first part, but who won the second part?- OK, OK.

0:20:07 > 0:20:10Guys, it goes without saying there is competition

0:20:10 > 0:20:14between Sting and Claw as teams, but you two - there's extra competition!

0:20:14 > 0:20:16Where does it come from?

0:20:16 > 0:20:19I know it sounds a bit mean, but I like to beat friends.

0:20:19 > 0:20:22I just like chucking them into water and hearing them scream.

0:20:22 > 0:20:24Jeremy, from a friend?

0:20:24 > 0:20:27A friend? I like beating a friend as well.

0:20:27 > 0:20:31It's like letting them know they can't get the upper hand on you.

0:20:31 > 0:20:33But you guys are meant to be friends!

0:20:33 > 0:20:36- Yeah, we're still friends. - "Meant" to be!

0:20:36 > 0:20:40- After the challenge... - Yeah, when it's down to business.

0:20:40 > 0:20:42Girls, best of luck, I'm going to go take cover

0:20:42 > 0:20:45from what's possibly the most competitive challenge

0:20:45 > 0:20:47and fighters we've ever had.

0:20:47 > 0:20:50It's time now to play Double Crossing.

0:20:53 > 0:20:56So, first up delivering cogs is Eleanor for Claw,

0:20:56 > 0:20:59while Jeremy swings the boulders for Sting.

0:20:59 > 0:21:03- Girls are you ready?- Ready!

0:21:03 > 0:21:05This is going to be interesting.

0:21:05 > 0:21:09Three, two, one, go!

0:21:09 > 0:21:12And they're off and Jeremy is unknotting the boulder while

0:21:12 > 0:21:16Eleanor is getting some terrific encouragement from her team mates.

0:21:16 > 0:21:19Oh, no, a miss! Eleanor's crawling works for her here

0:21:19 > 0:21:22but could it prove too time consuming a tactic?

0:21:22 > 0:21:26Every second is precious here and as the cogs here are tied

0:21:26 > 0:21:29to the boulders, she can't afford to dodge to far out of the way, either.

0:21:32 > 0:21:35Eleanor's got it and she is untying the first cog.

0:21:35 > 0:21:38But she's got to take it to the other end of the pontoon

0:21:38 > 0:21:42and tie it on before it counts, so it's not safe yet.

0:21:42 > 0:21:45Go, go, go, go, quickly!

0:21:45 > 0:21:48Jeremy is wrestling another boulder free.

0:21:48 > 0:21:49Oh, no.

0:21:49 > 0:21:51Duck down!

0:21:53 > 0:21:55Sounds like good advice from James

0:21:55 > 0:21:58but Eleanor's choosing to block the boulders with her...oh,

0:21:58 > 0:22:02she caught it and that means she can grab the cog off this one.

0:22:02 > 0:22:05- Great stuff. - Come on, Jeremy!

0:22:05 > 0:22:09This must be so frustrating for Jeremy.

0:22:09 > 0:22:12Yes, she has tied it on, that's her second cog on.

0:22:12 > 0:22:14TEAM CHEERS HER ON

0:22:14 > 0:22:17Great encouragement from the rest of her team.

0:22:17 > 0:22:20There is a lot to play for. Claw need to win this challenge.

0:22:20 > 0:22:23Eleanor is moving so quickly here, they could just do it.

0:22:23 > 0:22:25She has already taken hold of another boulder.

0:22:25 > 0:22:28Oh, Jeremy has gone on the attack.

0:22:28 > 0:22:31That was a good hit and it has definitely delayed Eleanor,

0:22:31 > 0:22:34but what she needs is to knock the cog out of her hands.

0:22:34 > 0:22:36THEY CHEER

0:22:36 > 0:22:38She is zipping back with the cog.

0:22:38 > 0:22:41Can Jeremy do anything here to stop her?

0:22:41 > 0:22:44Extreme determination from both Eleanor and Jeremy.

0:22:44 > 0:22:50- But that's cog three on. - Don't rush, Jeremy.- Come on, Jeremy!

0:22:50 > 0:22:52She is going for another boulder strike

0:22:52 > 0:22:54but Eleanor looks ready for it.

0:22:54 > 0:23:00- Oh, a simple catch.- You are doing amazing, you are doing really well.

0:23:00 > 0:23:05She is doing well. Oh, what a duck she is making great pace here.

0:23:05 > 0:23:09She hurled that across with huge force, but missed a strike.

0:23:09 > 0:23:13With just over two minutes in, Eleanor is back with a fourth cog.

0:23:13 > 0:23:16Oh, Eleanor does well not to lose the cog here.

0:23:16 > 0:23:21That was a massive smash, but she has tied it on.

0:23:24 > 0:23:26Jeremy is going for another boulder swing.

0:23:26 > 0:23:29Oh, Eleanor has caught this one, too.

0:23:29 > 0:23:33She is keeping so well balanced and it must be so irritating for Jeremy.

0:23:33 > 0:23:38Come on, Jeremy! Go get her.

0:23:38 > 0:23:40These girls mean business.

0:23:40 > 0:23:44Yes, they do, Myleene, and just over halfway through her time,

0:23:44 > 0:23:48Eleanor has tied on a fifth cog. This is really quick work.

0:23:48 > 0:23:52Jeremy needs to do something to slow her down. Oh, no!

0:23:55 > 0:23:57Jeremy has got to put more force into her throws

0:23:57 > 0:24:00if she is going to knock Eleanor in.

0:24:00 > 0:24:03Oh, but she has got to keep aiming well, too.

0:24:03 > 0:24:05She is swinging the boulders wildly now

0:24:05 > 0:24:08but they are just ricocheting around.

0:24:08 > 0:24:10She needs to focus more on her targeting.

0:24:10 > 0:24:16Go! Eleanor! Eleanor! Eleanor! Eleanor!

0:24:16 > 0:24:20Yes, at more than four minutes in that was her sixth cog on

0:24:20 > 0:24:22and so she has only got one left now.

0:24:22 > 0:24:27No, guys, guys, they are just putting pressure on her.

0:24:27 > 0:24:29She'll bend under pressure.

0:24:29 > 0:24:33Is Natty right? Will she bend under pressure?

0:24:33 > 0:24:36No, another terrific boulder catch.

0:24:41 > 0:24:43Oh, there is the last cog

0:24:43 > 0:24:46and a really good duck from Eleanor just at the last second.

0:24:48 > 0:24:50That's it, game over.

0:24:52 > 0:24:56Jeremy looks alarmed and that was a terrific turn from Eleanor.

0:24:56 > 0:24:59She moved along the runway really quickly

0:24:59 > 0:25:02and stopped boulder after boulder after boulder, with apparent ease.

0:25:04 > 0:25:07Jeremy did put great effort into trying to knock her in,

0:25:07 > 0:25:11but never managed to achieve the combination of power and aim.

0:25:11 > 0:25:15It meant that Eleanor tied on her seventh and final cog

0:25:15 > 0:25:17at four minutes and nine seconds.

0:25:17 > 0:25:20It's an impressively fast time, but at the halfway stage,

0:25:20 > 0:25:24who do they think is going to come out on top here?

0:25:24 > 0:25:27BOTH: Me, me, me, me!

0:25:27 > 0:25:31Me, me, me, me, me, me!

0:25:31 > 0:25:33- Strong!- No, it's going to be me.

0:25:33 > 0:25:38Well, they both sound really confident,

0:25:38 > 0:25:41but now they're back for the second leg of the game

0:25:41 > 0:25:43and, of course they've swapped places,

0:25:43 > 0:25:46so Jeremy is under much greater threat of ending up in the water.

0:25:46 > 0:25:49Could the fear affect her performance?

0:25:50 > 0:25:54- OK, girls are we ready? - Ready!

0:25:54 > 0:25:57In three, two, one, go!

0:25:57 > 0:26:01- And they're off. - THEY SHOUT ENCOURAGEMENT

0:26:02 > 0:26:06Eleanor ready with the first boulder. No hesitation.

0:26:06 > 0:26:09Is Jeremy trying to go quicker by standing up?

0:26:09 > 0:26:12Well, Eleanor is swinging again.

0:26:14 > 0:26:16Jeremy has ducked down. Oh, she has grabbed it.

0:26:16 > 0:26:19Well, caught from Jeremy.

0:26:19 > 0:26:22CHEERING

0:26:22 > 0:26:26She has untied it, but of course she has to deliver it on the runway

0:26:26 > 0:26:29and Eleanor is not going to make that easy for her.

0:26:29 > 0:26:33Eleanor means business with those boulders.

0:26:33 > 0:26:37Oh, Eleanor smacks this boulder right at Jeremy's head,

0:26:37 > 0:26:42but, impressively, she manages to keep balanced on the runway

0:26:42 > 0:26:46and doesn't drop the cog, but if Eleanor can keep this

0:26:46 > 0:26:49onslaught up, surely she can cause Jeremy some real problems.

0:26:49 > 0:26:54- THEY SHOUT ENCOURAGEMENT - Brilliant backing from the teams.

0:26:57 > 0:27:00They all clearly want their captain to triumph here.

0:27:00 > 0:27:03THEY CHEER

0:27:03 > 0:27:07While she has crawled out to the end and she is starting to...whoa!

0:27:07 > 0:27:09Oh, well ducked from Jeremy.

0:27:09 > 0:27:12And she is tying the cog on next to the one that is already

0:27:12 > 0:27:15there as her advantage. Yes, she is on two now and, oh!

0:27:16 > 0:27:17Well caught.

0:27:17 > 0:27:20Now she just needs to get the cog off as quickly as possible.

0:27:20 > 0:27:24Oh dear, she seems to be having trouble, so she is a sitting duck.

0:27:24 > 0:27:28Oh, no, the boulder ricocheted and Jeremy dodged it,

0:27:28 > 0:27:30so she is clean away again.

0:27:30 > 0:27:34Well, Sting are cheering her on and it might just be helping,

0:27:34 > 0:27:38as under two minutes in, that's her third cog on.

0:27:41 > 0:27:43Go on, Eleanor, you can do it!

0:27:43 > 0:27:46Claw are giving huge support to Eleanor, too.

0:27:46 > 0:27:50They are desperate to make these boulders really count. Oh!

0:27:50 > 0:27:51CHEERING

0:27:51 > 0:27:55Jeremy is making this look very easy and, believe me, it's not.

0:27:55 > 0:27:58Well, she got that cog away very quickly.

0:27:58 > 0:28:03Nowhere near, but Eleanor's racing down to try and head her off.

0:28:03 > 0:28:07Jeremy almost slipped and, remember, she does not like the water.

0:28:07 > 0:28:09Plus, of course, she would have lost the cog

0:28:09 > 0:28:13and absolutely wasted her advantage.

0:28:21 > 0:28:25Eleanor's doing everything she can to put pressure on Jeremy here,

0:28:25 > 0:28:28but the boulder just isn't connecting.

0:28:28 > 0:28:31So Jeremy has tied a fourth cog on, but it took her slightly longer

0:28:31 > 0:28:35than Eleanor to get her fourth on. So she needs to pick up the pace.

0:28:38 > 0:28:39She's caught another boulder.

0:28:39 > 0:28:42Now she needs to get the cog off - and fast.

0:28:43 > 0:28:46Oh, she is standing up to reach it and that means she is

0:28:46 > 0:28:50so vulnerable, can Eleanor make the most of this opportunity?

0:28:50 > 0:28:52CHEERING

0:28:52 > 0:28:57Oh, Eleanor smacked that boulder right into Jeremy's head,

0:28:57 > 0:28:59but she showed amazing balance.

0:28:59 > 0:29:03She wobbled, but she didn't fall in or even drop the cog.

0:29:06 > 0:29:08So Jeremy is scuttling along.

0:29:08 > 0:29:10Can Eleanor do anything here?

0:29:10 > 0:29:13Oh, she's struggling to reach that boulder

0:29:13 > 0:29:16and now Jeremy has made it to the end of the runway again.

0:29:16 > 0:29:19So can she tie it on or will Eleanor be able to make another

0:29:19 > 0:29:22even more successful strike?

0:29:22 > 0:29:23No, it's on.

0:29:23 > 0:29:27Oh, another good duck there, but she needs to speed up,

0:29:27 > 0:29:30because she has used well over half her time now

0:29:30 > 0:29:32and she is still being slower than Eleanor.

0:29:34 > 0:29:36Oh, but that was an excellent catch.

0:29:36 > 0:29:40Can she get this cog off quicker and take the advantage of the fact

0:29:40 > 0:29:42Eleanor is struggling to release her next boulder?

0:29:42 > 0:29:47Jeremy is racing along the runway to try and get that next cog attached.

0:29:47 > 0:29:48And she's there.

0:29:48 > 0:29:51Go, Eleanor!

0:29:51 > 0:29:53A great swing, but Jeremy is

0:29:53 > 0:29:57so low to the deck that there is nothing Eleanor could do.

0:29:57 > 0:30:00- That's cog six tied on. - SHOUTS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

0:30:01 > 0:30:05Well, it was a great catch, but actually this challenge is not

0:30:05 > 0:30:07going Jeremy's way overall. By this point, in Eleanor's turn,

0:30:07 > 0:30:10she had got all seven cogs tied on.

0:30:10 > 0:30:13That's Jeremy's seventh one going on now.

0:30:13 > 0:30:16Thanks to the advantage, she does have one left, but there is only

0:30:16 > 0:30:18a minute remaining,

0:30:18 > 0:30:20so she needs to move ultra-fast here.

0:30:22 > 0:30:26SHOUTS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

0:30:28 > 0:30:32Eleanor is going for a massive... Oh, no!

0:30:32 > 0:30:34CHEERING

0:30:37 > 0:30:39Oh, Jeremy has got the eighth cog.

0:30:39 > 0:30:43The seconds are ticking. Can Eleanor keep delaying her here?

0:30:43 > 0:30:46No! She's at the end!

0:30:46 > 0:30:49Eleanor's only chance here is knocking it out of her hands.

0:30:49 > 0:30:52No! There it is with eight cogs on, Jeremy has won!

0:30:52 > 0:30:56- CHEERING - That's it! Game over!

0:30:58 > 0:31:02What a conclusion to such a thrillingly close

0:31:02 > 0:31:04captain verses captain challenge.

0:31:04 > 0:31:09Eleanor and Jeremy both pulled off some terrific boulder swings

0:31:09 > 0:31:12and both of them opted to crawl along the runway, too.

0:31:12 > 0:31:14A safe tactic, but a slow one.

0:31:14 > 0:31:18And in the end, Double Crossing did become all about the clock.

0:31:18 > 0:31:23Eleanor had delivered all seven of her cogs quicker than Jeremy,

0:31:23 > 0:31:26had tied her seventh on, so the only way Jeremy could win

0:31:26 > 0:31:29was by attaching the extra one she had as an advantage,

0:31:29 > 0:31:32thanks to Sting having won the code cracker.

0:31:32 > 0:31:35It seemed sure she would run out of time before she could manage it,

0:31:35 > 0:31:38especially as Eleanor never gave up hurling the boulders.

0:31:38 > 0:31:41But with seconds to go, she did it.

0:31:41 > 0:31:44So, girls, well done in your challenge, Double Crossing -

0:31:44 > 0:31:48- how did you find the first round? - It was really good fun,

0:31:48 > 0:31:52but you should know, once someone crawls, it's hard to knock them off.

0:31:52 > 0:31:54I thought that was really good fun,

0:31:54 > 0:31:57but unfortunately we didn't knock each other off.

0:31:57 > 0:32:00- So how do you think you did? - Really good.- Quite confident.

0:32:00 > 0:32:04- Really good, quite confident. - Really confident!- Really confident!

0:32:04 > 0:32:07- Really, really confident! - OK, I think enough of that!

0:32:07 > 0:32:10Now's the time to put you both out of your misery.

0:32:10 > 0:32:14The winner of the first round of Double Crossing...

0:32:14 > 0:32:16and of the advantage...

0:32:16 > 0:32:19is team...

0:32:21 > 0:32:23- ..Sting! - CHEERING

0:32:26 > 0:32:29And so Sting will have the advantage when the teams battle

0:32:29 > 0:32:33for the latest island treasure, the silver Venus Fly Trap in round two.

0:32:35 > 0:32:38Still to come, the battle intensifies,

0:32:38 > 0:32:42as Claw know they must beat Sting

0:32:42 > 0:32:43to win the island treasure.

0:32:46 > 0:32:49We all need to work as a team together and do our best.

0:32:49 > 0:32:53Sting may have won the advantage, but there's still another

0:32:53 > 0:32:55fiendish round to go.

0:32:55 > 0:32:58And Jeremy and Eleanor's rivalry boils over.

0:32:58 > 0:33:01I just said that we had better team work and communication.

0:33:01 > 0:33:02How do you know?

0:33:02 > 0:33:05Because we're winning all the challenges!

0:33:05 > 0:33:08I'd really like to win an island challenge and treasure for my team.

0:33:08 > 0:33:12But only one captain will ultimately lead their team to victory.

0:33:12 > 0:33:17The winner of today's island challenge is...

0:33:19 > 0:33:23Team Sting have won the advantage for the second round.

0:33:23 > 0:33:27But, before they play, Claw have returned back to river camp

0:33:27 > 0:33:33to take stock, as they're now so far behind the pressure is really on.

0:33:33 > 0:33:36- If we don't win today we are really in big trouble.- Yeah.

0:33:36 > 0:33:42We've got to win every single one after that if we really want to...

0:33:42 > 0:33:47If we win today, that's it, we've got really close

0:33:47 > 0:33:51it's only one away and we've got plenty of time to catch up.

0:33:51 > 0:33:53We've got four then after if we win today.

0:33:53 > 0:33:55Time to catch up just one.

0:33:55 > 0:33:59If we don't win today, well, we're kind of stuffed.

0:33:59 > 0:34:03Over the past few days, Jeremy's been making me quite annoyed

0:34:03 > 0:34:05cos at the start we were friends.

0:34:05 > 0:34:08We still are but she's been going, "Sting's best".

0:34:08 > 0:34:12I'm going to lead them to victory, not Claw, obviously.

0:34:12 > 0:34:15She's not thinking, cos all she cares about is winning

0:34:15 > 0:34:18but I'd quite like to win

0:34:18 > 0:34:22to tell her that she might not win in the end.

0:34:22 > 0:34:27We all need to work as a team together and do our best.

0:34:27 > 0:34:31I think I'd really like to wipe the smiles off Sting's faces

0:34:31 > 0:34:33because they were being a bit,

0:34:33 > 0:34:36"Oh, we're going to win. Oh, yeah, go Sting!"

0:34:36 > 0:34:39So I want to beat them and would like to do that.

0:34:39 > 0:34:42I think the whole of Sting are being a bit over-competitive.

0:34:42 > 0:34:47Eleanor wants to bring her team back from the brink.

0:34:47 > 0:34:50I'd really like to win an Island Treasure for my team

0:34:50 > 0:34:53and I'd also like to my team to award me

0:34:53 > 0:34:56the Most Valuable Adventurer because I'd really enjoy that.

0:34:56 > 0:34:59I like everybody on my team

0:34:59 > 0:35:01and wanted to be on Team Claw, so I'm happy.

0:35:01 > 0:35:05And Eleanor knows just how to invigorate Claw.

0:35:05 > 0:35:08I think we should make up a team chant.

0:35:08 > 0:35:11We haven't thought of one and it would help us.

0:35:11 > 0:35:13So, has anyone got any ideas?

0:35:13 > 0:35:17Yeah, I've got ideas I thought of last night.

0:35:17 > 0:35:20It was...

0:35:20 > 0:35:23We are Team Claw, give us some more,

0:35:23 > 0:35:26we're going to win and chuck Sting in the bin.

0:35:26 > 0:35:30- I really like that!- I think it'll help if we do our chant,

0:35:30 > 0:35:33we're feeling down because we've lost and need to win.

0:35:33 > 0:35:37- James!- Dilhan!- Zach!- Eleanor! - Lizzie!

0:35:37 > 0:35:40ALL: Team Claw!

0:35:40 > 0:35:42ALL: We're Team Claw,

0:35:42 > 0:35:44give us some more.

0:35:44 > 0:35:46We're going to win

0:35:46 > 0:35:48and put Sting in the bin!

0:35:48 > 0:35:50CHEERING

0:35:54 > 0:35:59In round two, the island is setting Sting and Claw against each other

0:35:59 > 0:36:02as teams to try to win the latest Island Treasure.

0:36:02 > 0:36:07As it stands, Sting have four treasures, while Claw have just two.

0:36:07 > 0:36:12The more treasures you have, the more advantage in the race to escape

0:36:12 > 0:36:16and that means both teams will be doing everything to win here

0:36:16 > 0:36:20and add the Silver Venus Fly Trap to their Treasure Trove.

0:36:20 > 0:36:22So, round two of Double Crossing

0:36:22 > 0:36:26is going to be incredibly closely contested...

0:36:26 > 0:36:30as the island told them everyone was going to play.

0:36:31 > 0:36:36Sting's Khadie, Peter, Natty and Jordan will be taking on Claw's

0:36:36 > 0:36:38Zack, Lizzie, James and Dilhan

0:36:38 > 0:36:43but, because their captain won round one, Sting will have the advantage

0:36:43 > 0:36:46and Jeremy's about to find out it's unusual.

0:36:46 > 0:36:49She'll choose whether she wants her team

0:36:49 > 0:36:51to deliver the cogs along the runway

0:36:51 > 0:36:53or to swing the boulders.

0:36:53 > 0:36:56What will she go for?

0:36:56 > 0:36:57It's a big decision

0:36:57 > 0:37:01and one which can have a massive impact on the game.

0:37:01 > 0:37:05Jeremy, you got the advantage for your team.

0:37:05 > 0:37:08You now need to choose which side you want your team to be on.

0:37:08 > 0:37:10Do you want to be collecting cogs?

0:37:10 > 0:37:12Or pushing the boulders?

0:37:12 > 0:37:14Runway.

0:37:14 > 0:37:16You want to do the runway.

0:37:16 > 0:37:19Sting are on the runway, you'll be pushing boulders.

0:37:19 > 0:37:20That's good.

0:37:20 > 0:37:23- Can you do it?- Definitely.

0:37:23 > 0:37:27You seem happy. I thought you'd be disappointed not to be on the runway

0:37:27 > 0:37:29but you want to push boulders.

0:37:29 > 0:37:32- Yeah, they look so light.- Great.

0:37:32 > 0:37:35You both seem happy. Is that the end of the rivalry?

0:37:35 > 0:37:36ALL: No!

0:37:36 > 0:37:39Everyone knows Claw is the best.

0:37:39 > 0:37:42- Is it still on?- ALL: Yes.

0:37:42 > 0:37:45I thought it might be.

0:37:45 > 0:37:49Here's how round two of Double Crossing works.

0:37:49 > 0:37:53Sting's four competitors start with ten huge cogs

0:37:53 > 0:37:56and one at a time, they'll cross a slippery runway

0:37:56 > 0:38:00to deliver these cogs to the cable at the other end.

0:38:00 > 0:38:03They receive one point for every cog they tie on

0:38:03 > 0:38:06and this time crawling is not allowed.

0:38:06 > 0:38:09Claw's competitors will be across the sturdier track

0:38:09 > 0:38:13and will each have two giant boulders

0:38:13 > 0:38:15to try and swing at Sting to bash the cogs

0:38:15 > 0:38:18out of their hands or smack them into the water.

0:38:18 > 0:38:21They will earn three points every time

0:38:21 > 0:38:24they knock one of Sting in the drink.

0:38:24 > 0:38:27If a cog goes in the water before the end of the runway

0:38:27 > 0:38:30it's out of play and the game finishes

0:38:30 > 0:38:33once all ten cogs are lost or delivered.

0:38:33 > 0:38:37And of course the team with the highest final score wins.

0:38:41 > 0:38:43So they're set for the game.

0:38:43 > 0:38:46Sting are ready to get on the runway

0:38:46 > 0:38:49and Claw are raring to get going with the boulders.

0:38:49 > 0:38:52Guys, are you ready?

0:38:52 > 0:38:54ALL: Yeah!

0:38:54 > 0:38:58Three, two, one, go!

0:38:58 > 0:39:01And they're off and Natty's first,

0:39:01 > 0:39:04but will the hype prove a help or a hindrance?

0:39:04 > 0:39:06James is going for it. No!

0:39:06 > 0:39:09Ooh, first boulder.

0:39:09 > 0:39:11She's racing along the runway.

0:39:11 > 0:39:13A brilliant shot from Lizzie!

0:39:13 > 0:39:16Oh, but she's made it to the end.

0:39:16 > 0:39:18Great deflection work from Natty.

0:39:18 > 0:39:22You're right. She coped with the boulders amazingly well.

0:39:22 > 0:39:24Her fast pace limited the number of shots

0:39:24 > 0:39:28Claw could get in but they did hit her with a couple of

0:39:28 > 0:39:31full-on strikes and yet Natty managed to fend them away

0:39:31 > 0:39:35and deliver a cog to take Sting 1-0 up.

0:39:35 > 0:39:39Jeremy is still celebrating and Peter's going for it.

0:39:39 > 0:39:42Whoa! He's down, he's in the water.

0:39:42 > 0:39:47What a fantastic boulder throw from Dilhan.

0:39:47 > 0:39:51Peter gets off to a fast start but is not steady enough to stay on

0:39:51 > 0:39:54when a huge shot from Dilhan bashes into him.

0:39:54 > 0:39:57As each knock in earns three points, Claw is in the lead.

0:39:57 > 0:40:02It's 3-1 to them now and that puts real pressure on Sting.

0:40:02 > 0:40:05Next up, it's Khadie,

0:40:05 > 0:40:08and she seems to be struggling even to get onto the runway.

0:40:08 > 0:40:11No, she's OK for now.

0:40:11 > 0:40:14Whoa, she looks sure to be going in there.

0:40:14 > 0:40:17She's managed to regain her balance.

0:40:17 > 0:40:19The smacks keep coming.

0:40:19 > 0:40:22A really powerful shot from Lizzie!

0:40:22 > 0:40:26Somehow Khadie manages to stay on and keep going.

0:40:26 > 0:40:28Well done. Khadie's got her cog to the end.

0:40:28 > 0:40:32After a seemingly uncertain start,

0:40:32 > 0:40:35Khadie shows her mettle by ploughing on

0:40:35 > 0:40:39to deliver her cog and nab a hard-earned point for Sting.

0:40:39 > 0:40:41It's 3-2 to Claw.

0:40:46 > 0:40:48Natty's back up on the runway.

0:40:48 > 0:40:51After one run, this gets draining.

0:40:51 > 0:40:55But she works quickly and Claw aren't having much effect.

0:40:55 > 0:40:57So she's all the way across.

0:41:01 > 0:41:04This was a thoroughly efficient turn from Natty.

0:41:04 > 0:41:07She zipped past Claw's boulders

0:41:07 > 0:41:12and her cog was the equaliser. It's 3-3.

0:41:12 > 0:41:16- Next to run, it's Jordan. - Get back!

0:41:16 > 0:41:19The boulders are coming thick and fast now

0:41:19 > 0:41:22but Jordan's managing to survive... Oh!

0:41:22 > 0:41:24Whoa! Oh, no!

0:41:24 > 0:41:29Jordan does well to cope with the brutal bouldering from Claw

0:41:29 > 0:41:34and is unlucky Zach catches him with such a cracking shot,

0:41:34 > 0:41:36bagging another three points for Claw.

0:41:36 > 0:41:41They're back in the lead now, 6-3. Oh, and in the heat of the moment,

0:41:41 > 0:41:45Jordan ties his cog on anyway but of course, it does not count.

0:41:45 > 0:41:47Come on, guys!

0:41:47 > 0:41:49Peter's next, looking exhausted.

0:41:49 > 0:41:51You're doing well!

0:41:52 > 0:41:55He's hit but he's powering on with a smile.

0:41:55 > 0:41:58Oh, and that ricochet was a bit of luck for him.

0:41:58 > 0:42:02- 'He's there and took it in his stride.'- Well done!

0:42:02 > 0:42:06Peter seemed to enjoy this run.

0:42:06 > 0:42:09As Claw couldn't get enough force

0:42:09 > 0:42:14with their boulders to really delay him at all, you can understand why.

0:42:14 > 0:42:18Plus, his cog delivery pulled things back a little for Sting.

0:42:18 > 0:42:22It's 6-4 but this challenge is on a knife edge

0:42:22 > 0:42:26because another knock-in would take Claw to nine points,

0:42:26 > 0:42:29and Sting couldn't score any more than eight.

0:42:29 > 0:42:33So Sting have got to be unbelievably careful now.

0:42:38 > 0:42:41Khadie's back on now and she is shattered.

0:42:41 > 0:42:46James is going for the throw. No - she batted it back at him.

0:42:46 > 0:42:48Oh, and it's blocked his next shot.

0:42:48 > 0:42:50She's... Oh, a ricochet!

0:42:50 > 0:42:55Oh, and another. And yes, she's made it.

0:42:55 > 0:42:59After a strong strike from James, Claw became chaotic,

0:42:59 > 0:43:04launching boulders at each other, rather than at Khadie.

0:43:04 > 0:43:10She made it across to tie a cog on for another much-needed point.

0:43:10 > 0:43:12It's 6-5 now. Sting are coming back,

0:43:12 > 0:43:16but anything could still happen.

0:43:18 > 0:43:20Now it's Natty again.

0:43:20 > 0:43:25She's so tired, really struggling to get up on the runway.

0:43:25 > 0:43:29James' first boulder. No - she bats it away.

0:43:29 > 0:43:33Oh, a huge hit! And another!

0:43:33 > 0:43:35Wow! She's across.

0:43:36 > 0:43:39Great effort from Natty, who copes with big hits

0:43:39 > 0:43:42from a refocused Claw

0:43:42 > 0:43:45and brings the scores level again at 6-6.

0:43:46 > 0:43:52Sting have got three cogs left and a knock-in scores three for Claw.

0:43:52 > 0:43:54This is going down to the wire.

0:43:57 > 0:43:58Come on! Let's go!

0:43:58 > 0:44:00Next, it's Peter again.

0:44:00 > 0:44:03Come on! Get him! Get him!

0:44:03 > 0:44:06They're trying but... Oh, no!

0:44:06 > 0:44:10Peter is tearing along, so determined to get to the end.

0:44:10 > 0:44:12And he's done it!

0:44:12 > 0:44:17Peter proves it's not size but determination that gets results.

0:44:17 > 0:44:22He races and dodges and you can see his confidence shining out.

0:44:22 > 0:44:25His cog delivery takes Sting back in the lead.

0:44:25 > 0:44:29It's 7-6 now but this could all still go either way.

0:44:32 > 0:44:37Jordan again and James chucks his first boulder - far too early.

0:44:37 > 0:44:39And so's that one!

0:44:39 > 0:44:41Go on, knock it away!

0:44:41 > 0:44:45Oh... No, he's OK and he's there.

0:44:45 > 0:44:51Powerful boulder-swinging from Claw made this hard for Jordan

0:44:51 > 0:44:56but, though he was hit and looked like he'd lose his balance,

0:44:56 > 0:45:01he got his cog across to take Sting further into the lead. It's 8-6 now.

0:45:01 > 0:45:04But there is only one cog left

0:45:04 > 0:45:08and so it's all come down to this very last run.

0:45:08 > 0:45:12If Claw can get a knock-in, they'll be on nine points

0:45:12 > 0:45:15and will win, but if Sting deliver the cog

0:45:15 > 0:45:19THEY'LL be on nine points and THEY'LL be the winners.

0:45:19 > 0:45:24Extraordinary! This is so close. Now bring it on!

0:45:26 > 0:45:29So it's Khadie who's got the unenviable task

0:45:29 > 0:45:32of getting Sting's last cog across.

0:45:32 > 0:45:34James is going for it straightaway.

0:45:34 > 0:45:37Still too early - brushed away.

0:45:37 > 0:45:41and she has tried that one now, oh! Good shot from Lizzie.

0:45:41 > 0:45:44That's slowed her down. Now, can Zac do anything...?

0:45:44 > 0:45:47No, it's too late Khadie has made it across

0:45:47 > 0:45:48and so Sting have won.

0:45:50 > 0:45:53OK, guys, that's it! Game over!

0:45:54 > 0:45:59After an extreme challenge, Team Claw feel they may have lost.

0:46:01 > 0:46:04I'm still gutted and downhearted at the moment.

0:46:04 > 0:46:06I'm really annoyed.

0:46:06 > 0:46:10I'm quite gutted because we lost the challenge.

0:46:10 > 0:46:13I hope Scorpion Island's got something up its sleeve

0:46:13 > 0:46:15otherwise we will lose all the way.

0:46:15 > 0:46:17But Team Sting are elated.

0:46:17 > 0:46:21I'm feeling very proud of myself because I didn't fall off,

0:46:21 > 0:46:23I dodged every one

0:46:23 > 0:46:26and I got all my cogs, three, to the other side.

0:46:26 > 0:46:27I think I'm a natural.

0:46:27 > 0:46:29We work together well.

0:46:29 > 0:46:34and even though Jeremy was on the sidelines, she was encouraging us

0:46:34 > 0:46:40a lot and I think that was my motivation to power us on as a team.

0:46:40 > 0:46:41I think we did really well.

0:46:41 > 0:46:45Half the time they were out of time so they didn't knock us at all.

0:46:45 > 0:46:49So as soon as you're running, you've got to the other end

0:46:49 > 0:46:51before you know it. You just have to get down

0:46:51 > 0:46:54and then stick those cogs onto the rope.

0:46:54 > 0:46:57If we have won that would just be the best thing ever,

0:46:57 > 0:47:00to have won that game. Fingers crossed at the Island Fire tonight.

0:47:00 > 0:47:05Well, Natty, this was a thoroughly action packed challenge

0:47:05 > 0:47:09and, at points, both teams looked on course for victory.

0:47:09 > 0:47:14As Jeremy had won round one, Sting had the choice of roles

0:47:14 > 0:47:17and opted to deliver the cogs rather than hurl the boulders.

0:47:17 > 0:47:20It was a decision which paid off but it did also mean

0:47:20 > 0:47:23they faced the more physically demanding side of the game,

0:47:23 > 0:47:25so as they dodged and defended their way

0:47:25 > 0:47:28through run after run, you could see

0:47:28 > 0:47:31just how unbelievably tired they were becoming.

0:47:32 > 0:47:37All four of Claw's competitors made some properly forceful impacts

0:47:37 > 0:47:40with their boulders and both Dilhan and Zach achieved

0:47:40 > 0:47:43impressive knock-ins too, sending Peter and Jordan splashing down.

0:47:43 > 0:47:46A third knock-in would have been enough to win it for Claw

0:47:46 > 0:47:49but, try as they might, they just couldn't manage it.

0:47:50 > 0:47:54So, with nine points to Claw's six, Sting were the winners here

0:47:54 > 0:47:57and they will have the latest island treasure,

0:47:57 > 0:47:58the Silver Venus Flytrap.

0:48:00 > 0:48:02So, teams, how was that?

0:48:02 > 0:48:04It was fun, really fun.

0:48:04 > 0:48:06It was absolutely fun.

0:48:06 > 0:48:09Well done with the running. Hands up, who got pushed in?

0:48:09 > 0:48:11Who went in?

0:48:11 > 0:48:13THEY LAUGH

0:48:13 > 0:48:17You were all super-zippy. Was it hard on that runway? A bit wobbly?

0:48:17 > 0:48:19It wasn't after you'd got a good pace.

0:48:19 > 0:48:22After you got up, yeah, it was, and you started running...

0:48:22 > 0:48:26What was annoying was that when we went up there, you swim up,

0:48:26 > 0:48:30and then by the time you got back, it's your turn again.

0:48:30 > 0:48:31What about you guys?

0:48:31 > 0:48:34- Did you enjoy hurling those boulders?- Yeah, it was fun.

0:48:34 > 0:48:38Sting and Claw, I guess you're both dying to know who today's winner is.

0:48:38 > 0:48:42I can now tell you...all will be revealed tonight at the Island Fire.

0:48:42 > 0:48:46Only the island knows for sure. I know, sorry!

0:48:53 > 0:48:55The island challenge is over

0:48:55 > 0:48:59and Jeremy reflects on an extremely competitive day.

0:48:59 > 0:49:01You really want to do it well

0:49:01 > 0:49:04because you want the rest of your team to believe in you and say

0:49:04 > 0:49:06that you can do well in the challenges

0:49:06 > 0:49:10and you want to do well for them and you want to do it for yourself.

0:49:10 > 0:49:13You want to do it for the team

0:49:13 > 0:49:16and it kind of puts a lot of pressure on you.

0:49:16 > 0:49:21And the rivalry between her and Eleanor comes to a head.

0:49:21 > 0:49:24Claw sticks together more and even though we are losing

0:49:24 > 0:49:28quite a lot it doesn't matter because we don't always

0:49:28 > 0:49:32pick one person for the challenge, and we give everybody a go

0:49:32 > 0:49:35and we just want everyone to have a really good, fun time.

0:49:35 > 0:49:37We stick together more

0:49:37 > 0:49:40and we don't just choose one person to do the memory trial all the time.

0:49:40 > 0:49:45Like they do. They leave everyone else out and choose one person.

0:49:45 > 0:49:50Just so you know, Sting, as a team, don't make any decisions

0:49:50 > 0:49:53without all its team members agreeing on it.

0:49:53 > 0:49:58So therefore everybody agreed on Khadie and me playing it safe.

0:49:58 > 0:50:01And we were sticking together. We all took advice.

0:50:01 > 0:50:04And that's what a team is and that's how you win.

0:50:04 > 0:50:09Teamwork and communication is what matters

0:50:09 > 0:50:11and if they had that, they would win by now.

0:50:11 > 0:50:14- Do you have communication and teamwork?- Yes, we do.

0:50:14 > 0:50:17- We do.- Do you?- Yes.

0:50:17 > 0:50:19Eleanor decided she wanted to be in Claw

0:50:19 > 0:50:22and I was a definite for Sting. We just wanted the team

0:50:22 > 0:50:26that we're on to do so well and we try to stick up for them and fight

0:50:26 > 0:50:29their battles and say that Claw have always won

0:50:29 > 0:50:32and they say Sting could win this time.

0:50:32 > 0:50:35But the island has the captains exactly where it wants them

0:50:35 > 0:50:40and the more they disagree, the more the island wins.

0:50:40 > 0:50:41TALKING OVER ONE ANOTHER

0:50:41 > 0:50:44Jeremy, that does not mean we do not have any.

0:50:44 > 0:50:46- I know! I never said you didn't have any.- You just did.

0:50:46 > 0:50:49I said we had better teamwork and communication.

0:50:49 > 0:50:50How do you know you have better?

0:50:50 > 0:50:53- Because we're winning all the challenges.- And?

0:50:53 > 0:50:57Cos...to win challenges you obviously need a team and communication.

0:50:57 > 0:51:00I've got a team, and communication, because I can talk.

0:51:00 > 0:51:03- Have you got communication, really? - Yes. I can talk.

0:51:03 > 0:51:04So is that why you're failing?

0:51:06 > 0:51:10It's just got into something a little bit bigger and then...

0:51:10 > 0:51:13We decided to stop because it was so silly.

0:51:15 > 0:51:19It's the end of an intense day of rivalry on Scorpion Island...

0:51:21 > 0:51:26For Claw, the dawning realisation that they have lost is setting in.

0:51:28 > 0:51:30When I came off the island challenge today

0:51:30 > 0:51:33I was feeling quite down because I thought, well,

0:51:33 > 0:51:36that was one of the last times to get like to catch up.

0:51:39 > 0:51:43When I lose, I tend to take it all on me.

0:51:43 > 0:51:46Like I just think it's just me who's done really bad

0:51:46 > 0:51:48when normally it is a team effort

0:51:48 > 0:51:51and it's a team effort that didn't go to plan

0:51:51 > 0:51:52and we unfortunately lost.

0:51:52 > 0:51:55But James thinks he knows where they're going wrong.

0:51:55 > 0:51:57I think everything went wrong today.

0:51:57 > 0:52:01First of all we started with the code cracker

0:52:01 > 0:52:06and we lost that, which then gave a cog then to Team Sting and

0:52:06 > 0:52:10then they got to choose what to do and they chose the easiest,

0:52:10 > 0:52:14which was running up and down, we had the throwing of the balls.

0:52:14 > 0:52:16I think what's going wrong generally for our team

0:52:16 > 0:52:20is that we are not winning the beginning, the code cracker,

0:52:20 > 0:52:24so they're getting the advantages and winning.

0:52:24 > 0:52:27That's where we're really losing all of our points.

0:52:27 > 0:52:30Claw captain Eleanor is blaming herself.

0:52:30 > 0:52:33Even though everyone did well and tried their hardest,

0:52:33 > 0:52:36we didn't win and I am quite upset about that because I wanted

0:52:36 > 0:52:39to win as captain as I think it will be my last chance.

0:52:39 > 0:52:41Go, go, go!

0:52:41 > 0:52:45I think it was all about time, because we both got the same

0:52:45 > 0:52:48amount of cogs, I'm sure, so I'm a bit annoyed with myself.

0:52:48 > 0:52:52Eleanor thinks Jeremy has not only been the most successful

0:52:52 > 0:52:55captain, but the Island Treasure will be awarded to her too.

0:52:55 > 0:52:59Jeremy's going to get it today because she was captain

0:52:59 > 0:53:03and she is the only one in Team Sting who has no Island Treasure.

0:53:03 > 0:53:05So now they're all going to have Island Treasures

0:53:05 > 0:53:08and only two people will have one which I am jealous about

0:53:08 > 0:53:11because I want to win an Island Treasure for my team.

0:53:15 > 0:53:18Everyone's like, "We are going to lose, we are going to lose,"

0:53:18 > 0:53:21which I don't think because we're a fantastic team

0:53:21 > 0:53:24and we are better than Sting even though we are doing well.

0:53:24 > 0:53:28Slow and steady wins the race so I think that Claw can do

0:53:28 > 0:53:29really well in this.

0:53:29 > 0:53:31Natty, a former team mate of Eleanor's

0:53:31 > 0:53:33has a word of advice for Claw.

0:53:33 > 0:53:37My advice to them would be communication is the key

0:53:37 > 0:53:39and listening to your other team mates,

0:53:39 > 0:53:42because their communication isn't good at the moment, and I suppose

0:53:42 > 0:53:46when you're losing like that team morale sort of goes down a lot.

0:53:48 > 0:53:50Another full moon rises

0:53:50 > 0:53:54and the island is ready to announce the winners of today's challenge.

0:53:54 > 0:53:58Both Sting and Claw have been summoned to the Island Fire.

0:54:02 > 0:54:04Welcome, teams, to the Island Fire.

0:54:04 > 0:54:07This is where all will be revealed about your mission here

0:54:07 > 0:54:11and, more importantly, where the island communicates with you.

0:54:11 > 0:54:14Team Sting, how did you find Double Crossing?

0:54:14 > 0:54:17- Fine.- Great, amazing.- Excellent.

0:54:17 > 0:54:20Why so excellent? You seem very pleased with yourselves.

0:54:20 > 0:54:24Because I managed to get an advantage for my team.

0:54:24 > 0:54:27And also going across it was so fun.

0:54:27 > 0:54:32- Running, and...- Only one of us - Peter - fell over.

0:54:32 > 0:54:36OK! Team Claw, how did you find it today? The island challenge?

0:54:36 > 0:54:39I was fun, even though we didn't do as well as expected.

0:54:39 > 0:54:40It was just fun.

0:54:40 > 0:54:44He liked knocking people!

0:54:44 > 0:54:47James, I was there. You were really good.

0:54:47 > 0:54:51OK, well done, guys. I thought you were all excellent today.

0:54:51 > 0:54:55However, I'm guessing you're all itching to find out

0:54:55 > 0:54:58what the results of the island challenge are. Yeah?

0:54:58 > 0:55:00- Yes!- OK.

0:55:01 > 0:55:04The winner of today's island challenge is...

0:55:15 > 0:55:17..Team Sting!

0:55:17 > 0:55:18CHEERING

0:55:18 > 0:55:20Congratulations!

0:55:20 > 0:55:23Team Sting, you won the island challenge

0:55:23 > 0:55:25and also the seventh Island Treasure -

0:55:25 > 0:55:27the Venus Fly Trap. Congratulations.

0:55:30 > 0:55:33Every night at the Island Fire, only one adventurer

0:55:33 > 0:55:36from the winning team can be awarded the treasure,

0:55:36 > 0:55:40but what is the true significance of these treasures?

0:55:40 > 0:55:44The island knows but will not let on just yet.

0:55:44 > 0:55:48So then, who are you going to award your island treasure to?

0:55:48 > 0:55:51Who was your most valuable player? Talk amongst yourselves.

0:55:53 > 0:55:55- All very well... - It's got to be Jeremy, yeah.

0:55:55 > 0:55:57She got us an advantage.

0:55:57 > 0:56:00And she was a great captain as well.

0:56:00 > 0:56:01Thank, guys.

0:56:01 > 0:56:06So, guys, you've had time to talk. Who is your most valued adventurer?

0:56:06 > 0:56:07ALL: Jeremy.

0:56:07 > 0:56:09Jeremy!

0:56:09 > 0:56:12Congratulations. Tell me why you voted for Jeremy.

0:56:12 > 0:56:14She got us that advantage.

0:56:14 > 0:56:18And she was a good captain. And now we all have an Island Treasure.

0:56:18 > 0:56:21Well done. Congratulations, Jeremy.

0:56:21 > 0:56:23You've been awarded most valuable adventurer

0:56:23 > 0:56:27and you've won the seventh Island Treasure, the Venus Fly Trap.

0:56:28 > 0:56:33Not only is this very beautiful to look at but it also represents

0:56:33 > 0:56:37the trickery that the island plays on you every single day.

0:56:37 > 0:56:39So well done - it's yours.

0:56:39 > 0:56:41Round of applause for Jeremy, everyone.

0:56:41 > 0:56:43Take it back to your team. Well done.

0:56:54 > 0:56:58Another round of applause for Jeremy, then, guys, and Team Sting.

0:57:00 > 0:57:06So, Sting have won their fifth Island Treasure. Claw only have two.

0:57:06 > 0:57:08You can catch all the action online.

0:57:08 > 0:57:11We will see you next time on Escape From Scorpion Island.

0:57:11 > 0:57:12BOTH: Bye.

0:57:14 > 0:57:16Next time on Scorpion Island,

0:57:16 > 0:57:21Peter and Lizzie must lead their teams into the arena of competition.

0:57:21 > 0:57:25Claw captain Lizzie has the intense pressure of whittling down

0:57:25 > 0:57:27Sting's Island Treasure lead.

0:57:27 > 0:57:30SHOUTING

0:57:30 > 0:57:32While Sting captain Peter has the extra burden

0:57:32 > 0:57:36of keeping his team on top and ahead.

0:57:36 > 0:57:38Come on, guys. Think about it.

0:57:38 > 0:57:41But no-one said leading a team would be an easy ride.

0:57:41 > 0:57:43You need to really be bossy.

0:57:43 > 0:57:46I don't like being bossy.
