0:12:50 > 0:12:52DRAMATIC MUSICAL STING

0:12:53 > 0:12:58All you need to get started is a square scarf and some hair grips.

0:12:59 > 0:13:00Right, let's get styling.

0:13:04 > 0:13:07I think that folding your scarf properly is the key to getting

0:13:07 > 0:13:10a perfect look. I start by laying the scarf out flat.

0:13:10 > 0:13:13I take one corner and fold it into the middle.

0:13:13 > 0:13:16Then you do the same with the other corner

0:13:16 > 0:13:18and fold it again into the middle.

0:13:20 > 0:13:24I find that if you do this, you don't get bits poking out of the end.

0:13:24 > 0:13:25TROMBONE "WAH"

0:13:29 > 0:13:32Once you've folded your scarf, bring it up

0:13:32 > 0:13:34and make sure it's all scrunched up.

0:13:34 > 0:13:38Then place it at the back of your head and bring it to the front.

0:13:38 > 0:13:41Twist the scarf round each other so it looks like a knot.

0:13:45 > 0:13:48The next step is to take the two sides and place them

0:13:48 > 0:13:50round the back, tying them in a knot.

0:13:52 > 0:13:53Another tip of mine...

0:13:53 > 0:13:56I like to put a grip in, so it doesn't slip off during the day.

0:13:58 > 0:14:02There you have it, a quick and easy stylish way of tying a headscarf.

0:14:02 > 0:14:04If you missed any of that, here's quick recap.

0:14:06 > 0:14:10Take a square scarf and fold the two opposite corners into the middle,

0:14:10 > 0:14:12and then each side together.

0:14:15 > 0:14:17Twist the scarf around itself.

0:14:17 > 0:14:19Place at the back of your head,

0:14:19 > 0:14:23pull the two ends towards the front and twist around each other once.

0:14:24 > 0:14:27Pull the ends to the back of your head and knot the ends together.

0:14:27 > 0:14:28Secure with grips.

0:14:29 > 0:14:31There's only one thing for it.

0:14:31 > 0:14:34Let's hit the streets to see what you lot think.

0:14:34 > 0:14:35You going to come?

0:14:40 > 0:14:44- Hi!- Hi!- Do you like my headscarf? - Looks amazing. Can I try it on?

0:14:44 > 0:14:49- Course! You tie it round like this. Can you see?- Yeah.

0:14:49 > 0:14:53And then bring it round the back, and then tie it. There you go.

0:14:53 > 0:14:55- Do you like it?- Yeah. - What do you think of it?

0:14:55 > 0:14:58It's different, and it's really, really cool at the same time.

0:14:58 > 0:15:00Thank you.

0:15:01 > 0:15:05- Hi, guys!- Hello! - Do you like my head scarf?- Yeah.

0:15:05 > 0:15:08- It's really quick and easy. Do you want a go?- Yes, please.

0:15:08 > 0:15:11So, you tie it here. It's very easy, actually.

0:15:11 > 0:15:16Twist it round the front like this. I can tie it at the back.

0:15:16 > 0:15:19- How do you think you look?- I think it's very nice!

0:15:19 > 0:15:23- Do you think your sister looks nice? - Yeah.- How do you think you look?

0:15:23 > 0:15:24Yeah, I think it suits me.

0:15:24 > 0:15:26- Do you want to have a go?- No way!

0:15:33 > 0:15:35Seems like my head scarf's been a hit.

0:15:35 > 0:15:38It's quick and easy and gives any outfit a vintage feel.

0:15:38 > 0:15:41That's Style Download complete.

0:15:41 > 0:15:42# Oh, oh, oh

0:15:42 > 0:15:45- # Oh, oh - What's Up Download. #

0:15:45 > 0:15:48It is now time for a download called What's Up Download.

0:15:48 > 0:15:51Each week, three of us will be talking about a problem that you have

0:15:51 > 0:15:54sent us via the CBBC website, and we've had loads in,

0:15:54 > 0:15:56so thank you very much for getting in touch.

0:15:56 > 0:15:58It's been a great start to a new Download.

0:15:58 > 0:16:00Yep, so if you've fallen out with a friend,

0:16:00 > 0:16:02you're nervous about starting a new school,

0:16:02 > 0:16:05or your parents are arguing all the time, hopefully we can help you.

0:16:05 > 0:16:08So, there's no worry too big or too small for us to tackle.

0:16:08 > 0:16:10So, I have this first one here from Karla.

0:16:31 > 0:16:35- So, well, we've all got brothers and sisters, haven't we?- We do indeed.

0:16:35 > 0:16:38So, let's see if we can help Karla out with this one.

0:16:38 > 0:16:41OK, Karla, well, first of all, I think anyone with siblings was

0:16:41 > 0:16:44able to relate to that way you feel, like you're always hard done to.

0:16:44 > 0:16:48- I've got a younger brother, Keith. He's two years younger than me.- Cute!

0:16:48 > 0:16:50There he is, the little cutie pie.

0:16:50 > 0:16:52We're exactly the same.

0:16:52 > 0:16:55When we argue, I always feel like it's his fault and he always feels

0:16:55 > 0:16:57like it's my fault, and then he'll go tell my mum

0:16:57 > 0:17:01and it looks like it's my fault, but sometimes you've got to take

0:17:01 > 0:17:03a step out of the situation. It's more like, probably,

0:17:03 > 0:17:05I'm annoying him as much as he annoys me, really.

0:17:05 > 0:17:07See, I see it from the other end of the spectrum,

0:17:07 > 0:17:11- because my sisters are both older than me, so I'm the youngest.- Aw!

0:17:11 > 0:17:16Look at us. Alana and Alex. Alana's eldest and then Alex in the middle.

0:17:16 > 0:17:19I've got two younger sisters as well, Kitty and Ruby.

0:17:19 > 0:17:22- There we are on the train.- A little selfie.- Yeah, a little selfie.

0:17:22 > 0:17:24But at the moment, it is really annoying,

0:17:24 > 0:17:28cos I'm trying to revise for my GCSEs, and Ruby's next door

0:17:28 > 0:17:32playing her music so loud, and it just gets on my nerves so much.

0:17:32 > 0:17:35- She's pretty annoying at the moment. - How do you deal with that?

0:17:35 > 0:17:38Well, usually, I'll try and block it out, but if I can't,

0:17:38 > 0:17:41- I just get up banging the door and just tell her to shut up.- OK.

0:17:41 > 0:17:44- I like that.- The direct approach. - Yeah. The direct approach.

0:17:44 > 0:17:46It's not just us that argue with our brothers and sisters.

0:17:46 > 0:17:50In fact, Zayn Malik, his sister, she's called Waliyha.

0:17:50 > 0:17:53# And I'll be gone, gone tonight

0:17:53 > 0:17:57# The ground beneath my feet is open wide... #

0:17:57 > 0:18:00Apparently, they argue quite a lot, but they're still really close,

0:18:00 > 0:18:02so, you know, everybody argues with their brothers

0:18:02 > 0:18:04and sisters, no matter who you are.

0:18:04 > 0:18:06And talking about stars, we've actually got some star advice

0:18:06 > 0:18:11from Foxes, who gives us a great tip on dealing with your siblings.

0:18:11 > 0:18:15So, I have a big sister too, and like you, I argue a lot with her.

0:18:15 > 0:18:17I usually find if you leave the room,

0:18:17 > 0:18:20you calm down, you take a minute to relax

0:18:20 > 0:18:23and remember how much you love them, and then go back in, give them

0:18:23 > 0:18:29a big hug and try and make up, and then everything should be better.

0:18:29 > 0:18:31Thanks for that, Foxes, that's some really great advice,

0:18:31 > 0:18:33and we'll see you on the show next week.

0:18:33 > 0:18:36Elle Fanning, who is starring in the upcoming film Maleficent,

0:18:36 > 0:18:41sister of celebrity Dakota Fanning, she has some advice for us here.

0:18:41 > 0:18:46I have a sister, so I know how that is, and we're four years apart.

0:18:46 > 0:18:52When you're little, it's...you know, and that age gap is so huge,

0:18:52 > 0:18:56so you're always arguing and fighting.

0:18:56 > 0:19:01Now we're getting older, so just know that it's not always

0:19:01 > 0:19:04going to be like that, because you're soon...

0:19:04 > 0:19:07You're still going to be sisters, but you're going to become friends

0:19:07 > 0:19:10when you get older, cos when you're 20 and 24,

0:19:10 > 0:19:12that's not a huge age gap at all,

0:19:12 > 0:19:17that's pretty small, and then you guys won't be fighting any more.

0:19:17 > 0:19:18You'll just be friends.

0:19:18 > 0:19:22So, I was probably a bit naughty sometimes when I was younger,

0:19:22 > 0:19:24and then I would get my sisters in trouble.

0:19:24 > 0:19:26Sounds like my older sister.

0:19:26 > 0:19:28And then they'd get shouted out and be like,

0:19:28 > 0:19:31- "Oh, you're older, you should know better."- I know your type.

0:19:31 > 0:19:34Well, you know, but now we've all grown up, all three of us,

0:19:34 > 0:19:36we get on really well now.

0:19:36 > 0:19:39It feels better that we get on more and we've all got a bit more mature.

0:19:39 > 0:19:42So, some of you guys have been writing into the CBBC message board

0:19:42 > 0:19:46and coming up with a few solutions, so we've got some here.

0:19:46 > 0:19:50ApricotPancakeKangaroo - "Say something funny

0:19:50 > 0:19:52"if you're starting to argue, because no-one can fight

0:19:52 > 0:19:54- "when you're being funny." - That's true!

0:19:54 > 0:19:56That would diffuse the tension, wouldn't it?

0:19:56 > 0:19:59That would diffuse the tension, but I'm just thinking,

0:19:59 > 0:20:01would it annoy them even more?

0:20:01 > 0:20:04- Possibly.- It could go one way or the other.- Yeah.

0:20:04 > 0:20:07And finally, one from Diamond Hilarious Hippo.

0:20:07 > 0:20:11Stay quiet and give a blank look and don't talk back

0:20:11 > 0:20:12until they get tired of arguing.

0:20:12 > 0:20:15Well, a massive thank you for getting involved with

0:20:15 > 0:20:17What's Up Download, for sending in your problems

0:20:17 > 0:20:20and also giving us your solutions - they've been absolutely fantastic.

0:20:20 > 0:20:21And Karla, we hope we've helped.

0:20:21 > 0:20:24We've really enjoyed looking at your e-mails, letters and videos

0:20:24 > 0:20:27and helping solve your problems, so keep them coming in

0:20:27 > 0:20:30on the CBBC website, because we want to help you in What's Up Download.

0:20:30 > 0:20:32That's What's Up Download complete.

0:20:48 > 0:20:51a giant monster known as Godzilla.

0:21:16 > 0:21:20Hi, Friday Download, the best way to survive a Godzilla attack

0:21:20 > 0:21:25is just run really, really fast the opposite direction.

0:21:43 > 0:21:45who falls out of the sky.

0:22:23 > 0:22:24between the future and the past

0:22:24 > 0:22:28in order to save mutants who are on the verge of extinction.

0:22:28 > 0:22:30Are we destined to destroy each other

0:22:30 > 0:22:36or can we change who we are and unite?

0:22:36 > 0:22:38Is the future truly set?

0:26:41 > 0:26:43And the third potential forfeit is...

0:40:09 > 0:40:12Things could get a bit messy now, cos we're going to use our egg,

0:40:12 > 0:40:14but don't worry, because I've got a top tip for you.

0:40:14 > 0:40:17We're going to take the egg and crack it gently on the side,

0:40:17 > 0:40:20not too hard, because we don't want to shatter the egg...like so.

0:40:20 > 0:40:24Put your two thumbs in the middle, separate the egg

0:40:24 > 0:40:27and let the egg white and the yolk fall out.

0:40:27 > 0:40:29We're going to need to add...

0:40:31 > 0:40:34So, once you've got the golden syrup in there,

0:40:34 > 0:40:36we're going to beat it lightly with our whisk.

0:40:36 > 0:40:38# You know you're only in it cos it's hot right now

0:40:38 > 0:40:40# Hot right now Turn it up right now. #

0:40:45 > 0:40:47Now we've got all this mixed up,

0:40:47 > 0:40:50we're going to add it to our other mix, like so.

0:40:50 > 0:40:54Now it's time to get stuck in again, get a bit messy.

0:40:54 > 0:40:56It's actually starting to smell really nice.

0:40:56 > 0:41:01Right, so when it starts to get a bit all stuck together, a bit sticky

0:41:01 > 0:41:04like it is now, we're going to tip this out and knead it briefly.

0:41:09 > 0:41:11So, once it's all kneaded, we're going to wrap it in some

0:41:11 > 0:41:14clingfilm and leave it in the fridge to chill for 15 minutes.

0:41:14 > 0:41:17Unfortunately, I don't really have 15 minutes,

0:41:17 > 0:41:20so I did get some pre-chilled before.

0:41:20 > 0:41:22Thank you very much, random hand.

0:41:22 > 0:41:26There we go. So, this is what it should look like now.

0:41:29 > 0:41:31Now we're going to let our gingerbread men take shape,

0:41:31 > 0:41:34and to do this, we're going to take the dough,

0:41:34 > 0:41:38which I've got right here, and roll it out to about half a centimetre.

0:41:38 > 0:41:42We're going to do that by using a rolling pin.

0:41:42 > 0:41:44Just quickly roll it out.

0:41:46 > 0:41:49So, now that we've got it all rolled out, we're going to take

0:41:49 > 0:41:52our gingerbread men-shaped cutter and cut out five gingerbread men.

0:41:52 > 0:41:55Just give it a bit of a wiggle.

0:41:57 > 0:42:00Right, so now we've got them on our baking tray,

0:42:00 > 0:42:02we're going to put them in the preheated oven

0:42:02 > 0:42:06for 12-15 minutes or until they turn lovely and golden brown.

0:42:06 > 0:42:09OK, so for this bit, always use oven gloves, and if you're

0:42:09 > 0:42:12one of our younger viewers, definitely get help from an adult.

0:42:12 > 0:42:14Put them in.

0:42:16 > 0:42:18Right, then, what can I do for 15 minutes?

0:42:18 > 0:42:20# It's like gold dust

0:42:20 > 0:42:22# Ya hear me coming through your speakers

0:42:22 > 0:42:25# You see me mashing up your airwaves

0:42:25 > 0:42:27# I know you can't get enough of my sound... #

0:42:27 > 0:42:29ALARM RINGS

0:42:29 > 0:42:31Wow! I'm dizzy!

0:42:31 > 0:42:32OK...

0:42:37 > 0:42:40This is my favourite part - decorating the gingerbread men.

0:42:40 > 0:42:43For this, we're going to use some icing, but you can literally use

0:42:43 > 0:42:46anything you want, chocolate, icing, sprinkles, as long as it's edible.

0:42:48 > 0:42:51So, I've finished decorating my five gingerbread men

0:42:51 > 0:42:54and I've got to say, they really remind me of someone.

0:42:54 > 0:42:56# And we danced all night

0:42:56 > 0:42:58# To the best song ever... #

0:42:58 > 0:43:01That's Bake It Download complete!

0:43:07 > 0:43:10It is now time for a very special The Vamps Download.

0:43:34 > 0:43:36Well, it's kind of like songwriting,

0:43:36 > 0:43:38but they speak it. So, yeah, we love it!

0:43:38 > 0:43:40Have you seen the part of the show Hot Or Not?

0:43:40 > 0:43:43- Yes.- We pick topics to decide whether they're hot or not.

0:43:43 > 0:43:45Can you make a poem about Hot Or Not?

0:43:45 > 0:43:47OK, this is a challenge, ain't it?

0:43:47 > 0:43:50Hot Or Not is a Friday Download game.

0:43:50 > 0:43:52No two suggestions are ever the same.

0:43:52 > 0:43:56You get to decide by switching sides

0:44:21 > 0:44:23CHEERING

0:44:23 > 0:44:25Loving that!

0:44:25 > 0:44:27It was a good effort. I'd give it seven out of ten.

0:44:27 > 0:44:29I'll take a seven, a solid seven.

0:44:29 > 0:44:31OK, so what's next?

0:44:31 > 0:44:33What else can you offer us?

0:44:33 > 0:44:35- So, we are big fans of the selfie.- OK.

0:44:35 > 0:44:38I reckon we've got that in common with you guys.

0:44:38 > 0:44:40We might like a selfie from time to time.

0:44:40 > 0:44:41THEY LAUGH

0:44:41 > 0:44:44- Talk us through them, bro!- That's a beach selfie, classic beach look,

0:44:44 > 0:44:46- hat on...- Was it hot?

0:44:46 > 0:44:47No, it was freezing!

0:44:47 > 0:44:49- It was in Cornwall. - It's the classic, isn't it?

0:44:49 > 0:44:52- Yeah, yeah.- Thought it was LA for a second.- No, it's Cornwall.

0:44:52 > 0:44:55That is James, and I think James is the king of the selfie,

0:44:55 > 0:44:57and that's his look me and Trist were trying to master.

0:44:57 > 0:45:00OK, making you think as presenters here.

0:45:00 > 0:45:03OK, right, so I reckon if we go up to the camera and you give us

0:45:03 > 0:45:05- a motion...- OK.

0:45:05 > 0:45:07..we'll have to portray it in a selfie.

0:45:09 > 0:45:11Connor?

0:45:11 > 0:45:14Have we got a suggestion from the audience? Any emotion?

0:45:14 > 0:45:16- Angry.- Anger.

0:45:16 > 0:45:18Just to this little one there.

0:45:22 > 0:45:23You look very angry!

0:45:23 > 0:45:26I like that. I saw the cheeks shaking as well.

0:45:26 > 0:45:29- They were. They actually were. - OK, another emotion, anyone?

0:45:29 > 0:45:30- Excitement.- Excitement.

0:45:30 > 0:45:33- OK.- He was ready for that.

0:45:33 > 0:45:35HE SCREAMS SOFTLY

0:45:42 > 0:45:44- Go on, Tristan.- Ah, boys.

0:46:04 > 0:46:07- Anything you want.- Well, if I was to conveniently step out here...

0:46:14 > 0:46:16- I mean, can you work with this? - I'll work with it.

0:46:16 > 0:46:18Give the drummer bit of space.

0:47:35 > 0:47:39- I think shouting would be quite funny.- Yeah.

0:47:54 > 0:47:57(I think whispering can be quite rude.)

0:47:57 > 0:48:01I'd probably rather shout, because everyone would know that I was there.

0:48:01 > 0:48:04(I would rather whisper all the time, because I think

0:48:04 > 0:48:07(if I was shouting, it would get on people's nerves.)

0:50:38 > 0:50:41Joining us is Harvey and two of The Vamps!

0:50:42 > 0:50:46So, James, Tristan and Harvey, let me explain how this works.

0:50:46 > 0:50:49Basically, in Hot Or Not, we bring up topics and we discuss

0:50:49 > 0:50:51whether things are hot or not, and if you think it's hot,

0:50:51 > 0:50:53you're going to go and sit on this side,

0:50:53 > 0:50:56and if you think it's not then you'll sit on that side over there.

0:50:56 > 0:50:58So, Harvey, why don't you kick us off?

0:50:58 > 0:51:03OK, so, my Hot Or Not is giving your pet a human name.

0:51:03 > 0:51:05Oh, yeah. Oh, yes.

0:51:05 > 0:51:08Yes. Yes.

0:51:09 > 0:51:10Am I the only one on...

0:51:10 > 0:51:12Tell us why.

0:51:12 > 0:51:14- I'm not hot.- Tell us why.

0:51:14 > 0:51:16So, imagine you have a pet.

0:51:16 > 0:51:19I have three pets, by the way. One's called Barney, TJ, and Teddy.

0:51:19 > 0:51:20Barney's a human name.

0:51:20 > 0:51:23They're kind of human names but, like, imagine you had a dog

0:51:23 > 0:51:25and you were, like... Would you rather...

0:51:25 > 0:51:28"Come on, David," or, "Come on, Scruffles"? What sounds better?

0:51:28 > 0:51:30- Who thinks Scruffles? - I don't know about Scuffles.

0:51:30 > 0:51:32I think I'd stay with David.

0:51:32 > 0:51:34So, yeah, I'm on the not hot side.

0:51:34 > 0:51:37See, like, I have a dog, and he's called Coggy,

0:51:37 > 0:51:40which isn't a human name... Mm? No, it's not.

0:51:40 > 0:51:43But I would love... I'd love to call...

0:51:43 > 0:51:46Like, if I got another dog, I'd call it something like...

0:51:46 > 0:51:49- George. I'd call it George. - Would you?- Yes.- What, after me?

0:51:49 > 0:51:52- Yeah! - You want to be called after a dog?

0:51:52 > 0:51:55If you got another dog, would you call it Harvey?

0:51:55 > 0:51:58Yes! That was my second name on the list, after George.

0:51:58 > 0:52:01- And then it was Richard, and Cel, and then...- Sweet.

0:52:01 > 0:52:03It went on like that.

0:52:03 > 0:52:07- Do you have any pets, boys?- I have a cat called Mickey.- Called?- Mickey.

0:52:07 > 0:52:11- Nice.- Like Mickey Mouse, but he's a cat.

0:52:11 > 0:52:14- What about you?- My sister has, like, rabbits.- OK.- Do they have names?

0:52:14 > 0:52:16Sniffles and...

0:52:16 > 0:52:20- Russell.- Russell. Russell the rabbit.- Close to Sniffles.

0:52:20 > 0:52:21Russell and Sniffles.

0:52:21 > 0:52:24- So, that's hot, hot, hot. - It's me next.- OK.

0:52:24 > 0:52:29- Are you ready for this?- Yes, we're ready.- Flavoured...popcorn.

0:52:29 > 0:52:32So, you've got salt, and you've got sweet, but then we've got...

0:52:32 > 0:52:35- I don't know what this one is. - It looks really weird.

0:52:35 > 0:52:37This one's really spicy.

0:52:37 > 0:52:39- And then we've got that one. - I can't even touch that one.

0:52:39 > 0:52:42Are we talking just sweet and salt, or just others in general?

0:52:42 > 0:52:45Oh, I'm going to have to move over to the other side.

0:52:45 > 0:52:49THEY ALL TALK OVER EACH OTHER

0:52:49 > 0:52:52Seriously, Cel. It's cheese.

0:52:52 > 0:52:55No, take that over there! No, no.

0:52:55 > 0:52:58- Take it over there!- I'm not hot. - I want to try it.

0:52:58 > 0:53:01THEY TALK OVER EACH OTHER

0:53:01 > 0:53:03Someone come and sit here, quick time.
