0:01:13 > 0:01:16# I got, got, got what it takes now

0:01:16 > 0:01:18# Oh, oh

0:01:18 > 0:01:22# I got, got, got what it takes now. #

0:01:24 > 0:01:27It's the halfway point in the Music Mansion,

0:01:27 > 0:01:30and there is still everything to play for.

0:01:30 > 0:01:32Jeremiah, you won the last Sing-Off. How did that feel?

0:01:32 > 0:01:35I'm really happy because it was my song and I won it,

0:01:35 > 0:01:37so I'm proud of myself and my auntie.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39Emilly, you've still yet to be in a Sing-Off.

0:01:39 > 0:01:42Today might be your day. How are you feeling?

0:01:42 > 0:01:44Going to work as hard as I can to get into this one.

0:01:44 > 0:01:46Are you guys ready to find out what your song is?

0:01:46 > 0:01:48- ALL:- Yeah. - Let's go.

0:01:48 > 0:01:50# Got, got, got what it takes now... #

0:01:50 > 0:01:52The competition is really, really heating up.

0:01:52 > 0:01:55We've got one girl who hasn't been in a Sing-Off yet.

0:01:55 > 0:01:58And I think that's a lot of pressure for her.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01Each episode, there are only three end-of-show Sing-Off spots,

0:02:01 > 0:02:05and those performance places can be won in a series of challenges.

0:02:06 > 0:02:09But first, our musical director David Tench

0:02:09 > 0:02:12will be teaching the whole group the new song.

0:02:12 > 0:02:15So David, this song is completely different

0:02:15 > 0:02:16to the last three songs we've had.

0:02:16 > 0:02:18It's more of a rock and roll song, isn't it?

0:02:18 > 0:02:20What do you think the kids are going to struggle with

0:02:20 > 0:02:21when it comes to this song?

0:02:21 > 0:02:24I think it's just going to be "How are they going to own it?"

0:02:24 > 0:02:27and "How are they going to make it interesting for the judges

0:02:27 > 0:02:28"at the Sing-Off?"

0:02:28 > 0:02:31- Should we get them in? - Yeah, let's do it.

0:02:31 > 0:02:34So guys, this song is a very, very cool song.

0:02:34 > 0:02:38I don't know if you will all know it very well, but your next song is...

0:02:43 > 0:02:45..Wonderwall by Oasis.

0:02:47 > 0:02:52# Because maybe...#

0:02:52 > 0:02:56Wonderwall is the iconic anthem by British rock gods Oasis.

0:02:56 > 0:02:59Fronted by the bickering brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher,

0:02:59 > 0:03:03the group racked up eight number ones in the 1990s,

0:03:03 > 0:03:07and this triple platinum track was one of their most popular songs.

0:03:07 > 0:03:10- Is it Wonderwall or is it actually Wanda...?- It's Wonderwall.

0:03:10 > 0:03:14Cos I thought it was about a girl, maybe Wanda... Like Wanda...

0:03:14 > 0:03:16What are you going on about?

0:03:16 > 0:03:17No-one knows what it's about, OK?

0:03:17 > 0:03:20Absolutely no idea what it means, I'm not going to lie.

0:03:20 > 0:03:21Is it wander as in walking?

0:03:21 > 0:03:25I think a girl called Wanda climbs on a wall.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27Thinking on a wall?

0:03:27 > 0:03:28I don't know. Wondering?

0:03:30 > 0:03:32Emilly, I'm assuming you're really happy that it's the song

0:03:32 > 0:03:34- that you chose.- I'm really nervous.

0:03:34 > 0:03:36You're really nervous? Why are you nervous?

0:03:36 > 0:03:38Cos I really want to be in the Sing-Off.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41# Today is going to be the day

0:03:41 > 0:03:44# That they're gonna throw it back to you... #

0:03:44 > 0:03:47I'm not the biggest fan on this song, cos I don't know it as well.

0:03:47 > 0:03:51# But I don't know how... #

0:03:51 > 0:03:54I mean, it's a really good song. I've sung it a few times before.

0:03:54 > 0:03:57# You're my wonderwall... #

0:03:58 > 0:04:01I actually really like the song cos it's quite a simple song.

0:04:01 > 0:04:07# You're gonna be the one that saves me. #

0:04:09 > 0:04:11APPLAUSE

0:04:11 > 0:04:13Thank you, guys.

0:04:14 > 0:04:16So I'll see three of you in the Sing-Off.

0:04:16 > 0:04:18Good luck, work hard and I'll see you later.

0:04:18 > 0:04:20- ALL:- Bye!

0:04:20 > 0:04:23All right, groovers. You ready to give this a go?

0:04:23 > 0:04:25Today's track is a chance for our eight to take on

0:04:25 > 0:04:27a completely different style.

0:04:27 > 0:04:29This is an opportunity for our singers to sort of

0:04:29 > 0:04:32get their teeth into being a front man, you know,

0:04:32 > 0:04:33rather than singing ballads.

0:04:33 > 0:04:36And it's just what one of the group has been waiting for.

0:04:36 > 0:04:39This is your song choice, right? Do you want to sing it for us?

0:04:39 > 0:04:40Can we hear your version?

0:04:40 > 0:04:41I'm really happy that it's my song,

0:04:41 > 0:04:44and I'm going to be gutted if I don't get into the Sing-Off.

0:04:45 > 0:04:47Can you all not look at me, please?

0:04:47 > 0:04:49- OK.- Thank you very much.- OK.

0:04:49 > 0:04:53It's unorthodox for a gig situation, but OK.

0:04:53 > 0:04:55If she wins this thing, and performs at Big Weekend,

0:04:55 > 0:04:59she's not going to be able to ask them to turn away.

0:04:59 > 0:05:01# Backbeat, the word is on the street

0:05:01 > 0:05:03# That the fire in your heart is out... #

0:05:03 > 0:05:08Her version of the song is so great. She's got such a unique sound.

0:05:08 > 0:05:12# You're my wonderwall. #

0:05:13 > 0:05:16- APPLAUSE - Woo!

0:05:16 > 0:05:18Yeah!

0:05:18 > 0:05:21That was really great. Well done, Emilly.

0:05:21 > 0:05:23Now that you've sung it in front of us,

0:05:23 > 0:05:25how are you feeling about maybe singing it at the Sing-Off

0:05:25 > 0:05:27- in front of the judges? - I really want to do it.

0:05:27 > 0:05:29I'm just putting pressure on myself

0:05:29 > 0:05:32because I think I can do a lot better than I've been doing lately.

0:05:33 > 0:05:37Emilly is a 14-year-old indie kid who lives and breathes music.

0:05:37 > 0:05:41# Staying up and waking up with you... #

0:05:41 > 0:05:45When I sing to people, I can, like, get a message across.

0:05:45 > 0:05:47It's like a superpower.

0:05:47 > 0:05:49She moved to South London seven years ago,

0:05:49 > 0:05:53but was born nearly 6,000 miles away in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

0:05:53 > 0:05:56Growing up in Brazil was completely different to growing up here.

0:05:56 > 0:05:58British kids aren't really pushed as much as we are, like.

0:05:58 > 0:06:02Because I want them to have a different life of me.

0:06:02 > 0:06:06Like, our parents want us to have a better life than what they had.

0:06:06 > 0:06:10But being pushed in her music has worked out well for Emilly.

0:06:10 > 0:06:14I play guitar, trumpet, French horn, piano.

0:06:14 > 0:06:17I am so hard-working, all parts of my life.

0:06:17 > 0:06:21But she has one weakness she wants to work on in the Music Mansion.

0:06:21 > 0:06:23I don't have a massive personality,

0:06:23 > 0:06:26so it's really difficult to have amazing stage presence.

0:06:26 > 0:06:29I need to be more comfortable on stage.

0:06:29 > 0:06:32It's the halfway point in the competition,

0:06:32 > 0:06:35and back in the lesson, David wants to remind the group what's at stake.

0:06:35 > 0:06:39So the prize is mega. It can be nerve-racking, I mean,

0:06:39 > 0:06:41but it can also be a fantastic opportunity.

0:06:41 > 0:06:43To perform in the Radio 1 Big Weekend,

0:06:43 > 0:06:46that would give me a reassurance for myself, like,

0:06:46 > 0:06:49"Yeah, I CAN do this and I CAN pursue my music dream."

0:06:49 > 0:06:53I literally can't even imagine it cos it would just be phenomenal.

0:06:53 > 0:06:55My dad is like my idol,

0:06:55 > 0:06:58and for him to see me performing on that stage,

0:06:58 > 0:07:01I can just be like, "Dad, I've done it."

0:07:01 > 0:07:03Just to make my dad proud.

0:07:03 > 0:07:06- That's really nice. - Going to make me cry...- I know!

0:07:06 > 0:07:09This prize means a lot to all of the singers.

0:07:09 > 0:07:13They have genuine reasons for wanting to sing at Big Weekend.

0:07:13 > 0:07:16And with the importance of the opportunity hitting home,

0:07:16 > 0:07:18all eyes are now on the frontrunners.

0:07:18 > 0:07:26# I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now... #

0:07:27 > 0:07:29I think there's definitely pressure to keep up with Rio,

0:07:29 > 0:07:31because she's been in the most Sing-Offs.

0:07:31 > 0:07:34I didn't want to give too much away, cos you never know.

0:07:34 > 0:07:37It's a competition, so they could steal ideas.

0:07:37 > 0:07:39I mean, I'm not saying they would, but they could.

0:07:39 > 0:07:42And one of the group is feeling the pressure more than most.

0:07:42 > 0:07:44I'm really worried now.

0:07:44 > 0:07:46Why are you worried, Shaun?

0:07:46 > 0:07:50It's just hard when you're up against so many good people.

0:07:50 > 0:07:55He's always got his eye on the other singers, and that, for me,

0:07:55 > 0:07:57is something that's going to hold him back.

0:07:57 > 0:08:00You just have to be individual. You just have to do your thing.

0:08:00 > 0:08:03Whatever it is, believe in it and stick to it,

0:08:03 > 0:08:06and don't be too swayed by other people's sound.

0:08:06 > 0:08:07Just do your thing.

0:08:07 > 0:08:11# I got, got, got what it takes now. #

0:08:13 > 0:08:14Hello, we're Bastille

0:08:14 > 0:08:16and you are watching Got What It Takes?

0:08:16 > 0:08:19A bit like anything, you know, just practise.

0:08:19 > 0:08:22Practice generally makes you a bit better.

0:08:22 > 0:08:24And practise what you're bad at, not what you're good at,

0:08:24 > 0:08:28- that's what I would say. - That's nice.- Oh, that's nice.

0:08:28 > 0:08:31Each episode, two of the end-of-show Sing-Off spots can be won

0:08:31 > 0:08:35in a music industry challenge, and it's time for today's.

0:08:35 > 0:08:37If you're lucky enough to become a music megastar,

0:08:37 > 0:08:40your fans will soon want to know everything about you,

0:08:40 > 0:08:42from your favourite cereal to your celebrity crush.

0:08:42 > 0:08:45WHISPERS: Mine's Justin Bieber.

0:08:45 > 0:08:48So in today's challenge, we're sending you over to Radio 1

0:08:48 > 0:08:51to be interviewed by a DJ who's used to asking tricky questions.

0:09:25 > 0:09:27- JINGLE:- Radio 1.

0:09:27 > 0:09:30Today I am hoping to meet somebody who's got the makings of being

0:09:30 > 0:09:33a true artist - somebody who isn't afraid to be themselves,

0:09:33 > 0:09:35that's what I'm looking for.

0:09:35 > 0:09:39But first, the singers are heading into the world-famous Live Lounge

0:09:39 > 0:09:43to get some advice from Radio 1 producer Nadia Dunn.

0:09:43 > 0:09:47You're standing where so many big celebrities have

0:09:47 > 0:09:49stood and sung, like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift.

0:09:49 > 0:09:52And, as you can see, on air at the moment

0:09:52 > 0:09:56we've got Greg James in this studio and then Scott is just finishing.

0:09:56 > 0:09:58He's just behind you, Scott Mills.

0:09:58 > 0:10:01So, as you know, your challenge today is an interview with

0:10:01 > 0:10:03Clara Amfo, one of our DJs.

0:10:03 > 0:10:06You need to be yourselves as much as possible.

0:10:06 > 0:10:08Try and add a little bit of humour in there,

0:10:08 > 0:10:11have a bit of a laugh with her. That always comes across quite well.

0:10:11 > 0:10:15And, finally, you might get asked some tricky questions.

0:10:15 > 0:10:16And the key is,

0:10:16 > 0:10:19if you don't want to answer it, then you can always move it on.

0:10:19 > 0:10:22- Right, are you ready for your interviews?- ALL:- Yes.- Let's go.

0:10:24 > 0:10:28- Jeremiah.- Hi.- Take a seat. It's lovely to meet you.- You too.

0:10:31 > 0:10:33- the singers individually... - Henry!- Hello.

0:10:33 > 0:10:36..as if they were live on her show.

0:10:36 > 0:10:38Emilly with the two Ls.

0:10:38 > 0:10:39Emilly with the two Ls. Hello.

0:10:39 > 0:10:42The two who most impress her and Nadia

0:10:44 > 0:10:48- You've met Justin Bieber. - I sure have. I've been in his house.

0:10:48 > 0:10:51- It was an experience, put it that way.- M-hm!

0:10:51 > 0:10:54First, can the singers get their personalities across

0:10:54 > 0:10:55whilst under a little pressure?

0:10:55 > 0:10:59How would you describe yourself as an artist in three words?

0:10:59 > 0:11:02Three words, erm... Let's see...

0:11:02 > 0:11:05- I'm more of an R&B person. - In three words.

0:11:05 > 0:11:07Oh!

0:11:07 > 0:11:10- Sassy...- A little bit different.

0:11:10 > 0:11:12- Three words strictly!- Different.

0:11:12 > 0:11:14- Energetic...- Right.

0:11:14 > 0:11:16I'd say I'm quite humorous.

0:11:16 > 0:11:18And talented.

0:11:18 > 0:11:21Next, Clara wants to see if any of the group has a funny side.

0:11:21 > 0:11:23You've got 20 seconds to make me laugh.

0:11:23 > 0:11:24I'm looking at the clock now...

0:11:24 > 0:11:26- Are you being serious?- Oh, yeah!

0:11:26 > 0:11:29- Buck-buck-buck-buck! - SHE LAUGHS

0:11:29 > 0:11:31I did it!

0:11:31 > 0:11:34- I was at home with my mum and... - 12 seconds.

0:11:34 > 0:11:36- 12 seconds? - You're running out of time, mate.

0:11:36 > 0:11:38You've 12 seconds to make me laugh.

0:11:38 > 0:11:40Erm...

0:11:40 > 0:11:42Oh, erm...

0:11:46 > 0:11:48I don't know what to do!

0:11:50 > 0:11:51Oh!

0:11:51 > 0:11:53- Two...- You look very nice today. I don't know.

0:11:53 > 0:11:56- That's not supposed to be funny! - I don't know!- Shaun!

0:11:56 > 0:11:58If I'm tired and I just want some space,

0:11:58 > 0:12:01I go to the toilet just to sit there.

0:12:01 > 0:12:03I find it really relaxing to be by myself in the toilet.

0:12:03 > 0:12:06Do you know what I mean?

0:12:06 > 0:12:10Finally, the group are going to face some tricky questions.

0:12:10 > 0:12:12And these ones have come from one of the other singers.

0:12:12 > 0:12:14Emilly has a question for you.

0:12:14 > 0:12:17She says, do you think your music is meaningful?

0:12:17 > 0:12:19I think that it's quite meaningful.

0:12:19 > 0:12:21I try to perform with as much passion as possible.

0:12:21 > 0:12:23This is from your mate Rio.

0:12:23 > 0:12:27She says, do you think you are a better singer than the rest of us?

0:12:27 > 0:12:29Can't really pick out a better singer.

0:12:29 > 0:12:32We've all got different styles and strengths and weaknesses

0:12:32 > 0:12:34when it comes to our voices.

0:12:34 > 0:12:36It's Jeremiah who's asked this question.

0:12:36 > 0:12:38He says, there are rumours that you have got

0:12:38 > 0:12:42a crush on somebody in the group. Are those rumours true?

0:12:42 > 0:12:43100% not!

0:12:43 > 0:12:46Categorically saying today you do not have a crush on someone?

0:12:46 > 0:12:49100% not. I love them all like family.

0:12:49 > 0:12:52Henry has asked, Annie, if you could go out

0:12:52 > 0:12:55with one person in the Mansion, who would it be and why?

0:12:55 > 0:12:57Probably be Henry because he's a nice guy.

0:13:02 > 0:13:03Noted.

0:13:03 > 0:13:04Being put under the spotlight

0:13:04 > 0:13:07has been a tricky experience for the singers.

0:13:07 > 0:13:09But does it get any easier once you've made it?

0:13:09 > 0:13:11You'll start reading opinions about what other people think

0:13:11 > 0:13:14and I think it's just important to stay true to yourself.

0:13:14 > 0:13:15It's constant.

0:13:15 > 0:13:18You have people looking at you, having to do that kind of thing.

0:13:18 > 0:13:22Although it's amazing, I personally struggled a little bit with that.

0:13:22 > 0:13:23There's nothing you have to say.

0:13:23 > 0:13:26There's nothing you don't have to stay. Try and be yourself.

0:13:27 > 0:13:29It's decision time.

0:13:32 > 0:13:34with their interviews.

0:13:34 > 0:13:36I don't know if mine went good or not.

0:13:36 > 0:13:38No, neither do I. I'm a bit scared.

0:13:38 > 0:13:41This is going to be a very hard decision.

0:13:41 > 0:13:43I did a chicken impression to make her laugh. Why did I do that?

0:13:43 > 0:13:45Super bubbly. Super confident.

0:13:45 > 0:13:48I have no idea what just happened.

0:13:48 > 0:13:51It'll be really hard to pick two from this eight. But got to do it...

0:13:51 > 0:13:53- Wow. This has been quite difficult, this.- Really tough.

0:13:54 > 0:13:59The first winner is...

0:14:01 > 0:14:02..Shaun!

0:14:05 > 0:14:06Thank you so much.

0:14:28 > 0:14:31and nobody in that second group is the same as the next person

0:14:31 > 0:14:32and I really liked that.

0:14:32 > 0:14:34Yeah, I'm a little bit gutted.

0:14:34 > 0:14:36I haven't been in any Sing-Offs

0:14:36 > 0:14:39So, it would really mean the world if my mum did win tomorrow.

0:14:39 > 0:14:42# I got, got, got what it takes now! #

0:14:42 > 0:14:46So that's Shaun and Nataya into the Sing-Off.

0:14:46 > 0:14:48I'm winner number one.

0:14:48 > 0:14:49I'm winner number two.

0:14:50 > 0:14:53It's good news for Shelly and Kelsey.

0:14:53 > 0:14:56And for the singers, it's a long drive home,

0:15:20 > 0:15:24Kelsey has volunteered to step in and try and win the spot for Jada.

0:15:24 > 0:15:26As a new artist on the music scene,

0:15:26 > 0:15:29it's important to make as many contacts as possible.

0:15:29 > 0:15:31The people you meet have the power to

0:15:31 > 0:15:34accelerate your career in a big way.

0:15:34 > 0:15:37But one bad impression could put the brakes on everything.

0:15:37 > 0:15:41Which is a bit like today's challenge, Celebrity Circuit.

0:15:41 > 0:15:45This one is literally going to drive you round the bend.

0:18:27 > 0:18:30You have 40 seconds, starting from now.

0:18:30 > 0:18:32David Guetta, Tom Jones, Calvin Harris,...

0:18:32 > 0:18:33My mind just went blank

0:19:37 > 0:19:40who is about to face her very first challenge.

0:19:41 > 0:19:44I think when you have a genuine fear,

0:20:44 > 0:20:46But Irene has done one better.

0:20:46 > 0:20:49Her calm approach has brought her level with Marie on nine.

0:20:49 > 0:20:52This could go to a tie-break,

0:20:52 > 0:20:56- which means only Annie's mum Liz can steal victory.- OK, Liz.

0:20:56 > 0:20:59- You've got a bit of a smile there, I like that.- I know.

0:20:59 > 0:21:04- Well, I'm in it now.- You ready? - Yeah.- Three, two, one, go!

0:21:07 > 0:21:11Rita Ora. Emeli Sande, Adele.

0:21:11 > 0:21:13Jess Glynne. Craig David.

0:21:13 > 0:21:16- Please slow down.- Liz is smiling

0:21:16 > 0:21:18and normally, on a challenge, she's not smiling, so I think

0:21:18 > 0:21:20she could have this in the bag.

0:21:20 > 0:21:22Slow down, please!

0:21:23 > 0:21:25Come on, Liz!

0:21:28 > 0:21:30Three, two, one. Go, Liz!

0:21:30 > 0:21:33Harry Styles, Robbie Williams, Rita Ora, Adele...

0:21:41 > 0:21:42What was the worst bit?

0:21:42 > 0:21:45I kept telling him to slow down.

0:21:47 > 0:21:50So, that's it. All six mums have raced

0:21:50 > 0:21:53but has Liz scored higher than nine to beat Marie and Irene?

0:21:54 > 0:21:56I really, really need to win today.

0:21:56 > 0:21:59Because she said yesterday,

0:21:59 > 0:22:02if she doesn't win yesterday and not win today,

0:22:02 > 0:22:05she's going to go home.

0:22:05 > 0:22:06Back at the Mansion,

0:22:23 > 0:22:24I'm so happy.

0:22:24 > 0:22:27Oh, my God, that means it's your second Sing-Off, my second Sing-Off

0:22:27 > 0:22:29and your Sing-Off.

0:22:29 > 0:22:32But, once again, Emilly won't get to take to the stage.

0:22:32 > 0:22:34I'm the only one who hasn't been in the Sing-Off

0:22:34 > 0:22:37so I'm, kind of, at a disadvantage.

0:22:37 > 0:22:39- Oh, group cuddle.- OK.

0:22:39 > 0:22:41Oh, yes!

0:22:41 > 0:22:43# I got, got, got what it takes now. #

0:22:45 > 0:22:47So it's Annie that will be joining Shaun

0:22:47 > 0:22:50and Nataya in the fourth Sing-Off.

0:22:50 > 0:22:55They'll all be performing their own version of Wonderwall by Oasis.

0:22:55 > 0:22:58And they haven't got long to work on their performances

0:22:58 > 0:23:00with our music maestro David Tench.

0:23:00 > 0:23:02- Welcome to the Sing-Off again.- Yeah!

0:23:02 > 0:23:06- Your second time.- Yes. - I'm happy to dive straight in...

0:23:06 > 0:23:09# Today is going to be the day

0:23:09 > 0:23:11# That they're going to throw it back to you... #

0:23:11 > 0:23:13It's always a pleasure working with her musically

0:23:13 > 0:23:15because she does things so differently.

0:23:15 > 0:23:18And the best part is this high note in the middle.

0:23:18 > 0:23:22SHE SINGS HIGH PIERCING NOTE

0:23:22 > 0:23:25- Do you like that or do you think it's a bit screechy?- This high note?

0:23:25 > 0:23:29- Yeah.- I love it.- OK.- Do you? - I don't know. I'm just worried.

0:23:29 > 0:23:33Nataya brought in so much confidence and then,

0:23:33 > 0:23:36after she hit that high note, she immediately apologised for it.

0:23:36 > 0:23:40You've got it, Nataya. That note is really cool. It's a feature.

0:23:40 > 0:23:43It's nice in an arrangement to have a high point like that

0:23:43 > 0:23:45and then bring it back down.

0:23:45 > 0:23:47- Hello.- How are you doing, Shaun?

0:23:47 > 0:23:50- Welcome to your second Sing-Off. - Yeah.

0:23:50 > 0:23:53- How are you feeling about that? - Good. I want to win this one, though.

0:23:53 > 0:23:57Shaun came in today to work on the song looking, again, worried.

0:23:57 > 0:24:00That's the thing about Shaun. He's an over-thinker.

0:24:00 > 0:24:01Taken a knock to my confidence.

0:24:01 > 0:24:03And it's even harder

0:24:03 > 0:24:06because sometimes we all do forget that it is a competition.

0:24:08 > 0:24:1214-year-old Shaun is a soulful singer from Luton.

0:24:12 > 0:24:13# Always thought you'd come back... #

0:24:13 > 0:24:17I like the reaction on other people's faces when I sing.

0:24:17 > 0:24:21And this young singer puts everything into his performances.

0:24:21 > 0:24:25# And, baby, my heart... #

0:24:25 > 0:24:28When I'm singing, I, kind of, base it on past experiences.

0:24:28 > 0:24:33Over the last year, I've lost quite a lot of people.

0:24:33 > 0:24:36My auntie has died, my nan died.

0:24:36 > 0:24:40I want people to feel what I'm feeling when I'm singing my music.

0:24:40 > 0:24:42But Shaun is bringing more than just emotional

0:24:42 > 0:24:44performances to the competition.

0:24:45 > 0:24:49My mum is my secret weapon because she's fierce.

0:24:49 > 0:24:50I'm cool.

0:24:50 > 0:24:53You think you're cool but it's just embarrassing.

0:24:53 > 0:24:55Don't smile at me.

0:24:55 > 0:24:59If I'm doing something wrong, she'll tell me about it and she is harsh.

0:24:59 > 0:25:00Sing from your diaphragm.

0:25:00 > 0:25:02And sometimes you sing too fast.

0:25:02 > 0:25:04You sing quite nasally.

0:25:05 > 0:25:07- NASAL:- Thank you.- All right.

0:25:07 > 0:25:11# I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do... #

0:25:11 > 0:25:14Wicked!

0:25:14 > 0:25:16Mate, that's really good, Shaun.

0:28:51 > 0:28:53He's nervous against all the other singers,

0:28:53 > 0:28:55even though they're his friends,

0:28:55 > 0:28:57he doesn't like the fact that it's competition.

0:29:07 > 0:29:13# By now you should've somehow realised what you gotta do

0:29:13 > 0:29:19# And all the roads we have to walk are winding

0:29:19 > 0:29:25# And all the lights that lead the way are blinding

0:29:25 > 0:29:31# There are many things that I would like to say to you

0:29:31 > 0:29:35# But I don't know how

0:30:32 > 0:30:36What he did well was getting the emotion across in the song.

0:30:36 > 0:30:37Mum's comments were amazing

0:30:37 > 0:30:43and that's why I started crying and it was all just so emotional.

0:30:43 > 0:30:45And last up, we've got Annie.

0:30:45 > 0:30:48Annie is the first singer ever to invite one of her competition

0:31:05 > 0:31:08# About you now

0:31:10 > 0:31:14# And all the roads we have to walk are winding

0:31:56 > 0:32:00- Annie, well done, that was such a wicked performance.- Thank you.

0:32:00 > 0:32:02A bit gutted that I lost the lyrics for a bit

0:32:02 > 0:32:04but I think I was just getting so into it

0:32:04 > 0:32:06I just didn't really know what I was saying.

0:32:06 > 0:32:09You recovered so well and I think you've got such a lovely tone

0:32:21 > 0:32:23She had a little stumble, forgot a couple of words

0:32:23 > 0:32:24but it didn't last long.

0:32:24 > 0:32:26It went well but it didn't go as well as the rehearsal

0:32:26 > 0:32:28cos I lost, like, a few words.

0:32:28 > 0:32:31I think Annie did absolutely amazing.

0:32:31 > 0:32:34So, we've had three very, very different performances

0:32:34 > 0:32:36but now it's down to you guys to vote.

0:32:37 > 0:32:41The mums must now choose who they think gave the best performance.

0:32:41 > 0:32:44It was really exciting to see Shaun, Annie and Nataya

0:32:44 > 0:32:47all tackle it in their own individual way.

0:32:47 > 0:32:49There can only be one winner.

0:33:03 > 0:33:05Absolutely over the moon.

0:33:05 > 0:33:07I'm still a bit shocked, like...

0:33:07 > 0:33:10I just don't know what to say, I'm that happy.

0:33:12 > 0:33:14I think he felt a lot of pressure

0:33:23 > 0:33:24We're halfway through,

0:33:24 > 0:33:28everyone's starting to realise that they've not got long left.

0:33:28 > 0:33:31It's getting harder to get that guaranteed place in the final,

0:33:31 > 0:33:35so people have to focus on their strengths and play to them.

0:33:35 > 0:33:40I'm equally in the lead with Annie, Rio and J now, so...

0:33:40 > 0:33:42- The game's on.- Yeah.

0:33:43 > 0:33:45Next time...

0:33:45 > 0:33:47# Got a... lover... #

0:33:52 > 0:33:54Off you go, guys.

0:33:54 > 0:33:56This is actually really difficult.
