0:00:07 > 0:00:09Welcome to Lifebabble.

0:00:09 > 0:00:11Today we're talking about siblings.

0:00:11 > 0:00:14The best and the worst things about brothers and sisters.

0:00:14 > 0:00:17Whether they drive you crazy, you love them to bits,

0:00:17 > 0:00:19or you're happy to be on your own,

0:00:19 > 0:00:21we'll be checking out siblings with the Lifebabble team.

0:00:23 > 0:00:26Some siblings are really alike in the way they look,

0:00:26 > 0:00:28their personalities...

0:00:28 > 0:00:31Some, on the other hand, are total opposites.

0:00:32 > 0:00:34There are older ones, younger ones,

0:00:34 > 0:00:36new ones, step-siblings,

0:00:36 > 0:00:39half-siblings, twins, triplets,

0:00:39 > 0:00:40people who are close to you

0:00:40 > 0:00:42who are just like a sibling...

0:00:42 > 0:00:44Or maybe it's just you.

0:00:44 > 0:00:47Whoever they are, chances are they can be pretty amazing,

0:00:47 > 0:00:48or pretty annoying.

0:00:51 > 0:00:54My brother annoys me SO incredibly much.

0:00:54 > 0:00:57But, he's always got my back.

0:00:57 > 0:01:00When you argue, I always get away with it because I'm the youngest.

0:01:00 > 0:01:02Whereas the oldest always gets told off.

0:01:02 > 0:01:06The worst thing about my sisters? They like to steal my stuff!

0:01:09 > 0:01:11I am an only child, but I still

0:01:11 > 0:01:13always wanted a brother or sister.

0:01:13 > 0:01:15My mum kept persuading me out of it by telling me

0:01:15 > 0:01:17that I'd have to share everything.

0:01:17 > 0:01:19I kind of get everything I want.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22I find my younger brother so annoying,

0:01:22 > 0:01:24because he sticks out his tongue

0:01:24 > 0:01:25and eats like a monster

0:01:25 > 0:01:27at the dinner table.

0:01:28 > 0:01:30Sometimes they can actually be really thoughtful.

0:01:30 > 0:01:33And they even come to me for advice, which is pretty cool.

0:01:33 > 0:01:35My sister helps me out when I'm down.

0:01:35 > 0:01:37When I can't talk to my parents about something,

0:01:37 > 0:01:39I can speak to her about stuff instead.

0:01:39 > 0:01:41I have an older stepsister

0:01:41 > 0:01:44who I absolutely love.

0:01:44 > 0:01:46We always do loads of stuff together

0:01:46 > 0:01:47like watching films and reading.

0:01:47 > 0:01:49Not long ago

0:01:49 > 0:01:51we have designed our own bedroom.

0:01:54 > 0:01:56Having a sibling CAN be brilliant,

0:01:56 > 0:01:59but it can also be really hard sometimes.

0:01:59 > 0:02:01It's normal to squabble with your brothers and sisters.

0:02:01 > 0:02:05But at least by TRYING to get on you can make life better for everyone.

0:02:05 > 0:02:06Give each other some space.

0:02:06 > 0:02:09That means that the time that you DO spend with each other

0:02:09 > 0:02:11will be more enjoyable for both of you.

0:02:11 > 0:02:13Keep talking, keep communicating.

0:02:13 > 0:02:15It sounds really simple but it'll do

0:02:15 > 0:02:17your relationship a world of good.

0:02:17 > 0:02:20Sometimes the squabbling turns into something more serious,

0:02:20 > 0:02:22and you may find that you're not able to handle that on your own.

0:02:22 > 0:02:25If the fighting with your sibling is making you really scared

0:02:25 > 0:02:30or upset, it's really important that you talk to someone that you trust.

0:02:32 > 0:02:35OK. So we all know that I'm the world's greatest sister.

0:02:35 > 0:02:36Erm - I don't think so,

0:02:36 > 0:02:38I think you'll find I'M the world's greatest sister.

0:02:38 > 0:02:40- Er, I don't think so. - Er, I DO think so.

0:02:40 > 0:02:43- Excuse me!- What?

0:02:43 > 0:02:47OK, so seeing as we're both the world's greatest sisters, here is...

0:02:50 > 0:02:52- BOTH:- Super-sibling!

0:02:52 > 0:02:55Make your sibling laugh every day.

0:02:55 > 0:02:58Easy to do when you have a razor-sharp wit like mine.

0:02:58 > 0:03:00Hilarious(!)

0:03:02 > 0:03:04Get them into your favourite music.

0:03:04 > 0:03:06Or you might be able to learn something new from them.

0:03:06 > 0:03:08Yeah, it's our differences which keep it interesting.

0:03:12 > 0:03:15# Do, do-do, do-do-do do-do-do. #

0:03:15 > 0:03:18OK - maybe not ACTUAL T-shirts.

0:03:18 > 0:03:21But you can be very different people and still be on the same team.

0:03:21 > 0:03:24Yeah, and when you work together you can take on just about anything.

0:03:24 > 0:03:26And now you know how to be a super-sibling.

0:03:26 > 0:03:29You should go reward yourself for being so fantastic.

0:03:29 > 0:03:33# Go pat yourself on the back for being so fantastic. #
