0:03:14 > 0:03:18When rapping, you always need to rhyme. Always, first and foremost.
0:03:18 > 0:03:21And if you don't rhyme and if you don't rhyme strongly,
0:03:21 > 0:03:24then people will not come back to your song to listen to you.
0:03:24 > 0:03:26Now, the first thing about rhyming is you always want to rhyme
0:03:26 > 0:03:29the most simplest things. And why I say simple?
0:03:29 > 0:03:32Because it's the first thing that'll ring in people's brain. You feel me?
0:03:32 > 0:03:35And if makes sense, then you'll understand what I'm talking about.
0:03:35 > 0:03:38Now, another thing with rapping is you always want to be different
0:03:38 > 0:03:39from everybody else.
0:03:39 > 0:03:41Everybody will categorise you into one category
0:03:41 > 0:03:43but you don't want that, you don't want that.
0:03:43 > 0:03:45You want to rap fast, you want to rap slow.
0:03:45 > 0:03:48Literally, you want to be different. It's simple as that -
0:03:48 > 0:03:50and if you're not different, everybody will just say
0:03:50 > 0:03:52that you're the same and you don't want that.
0:03:52 > 0:03:54Now, for the rap that I did for Miss Invisible,
0:03:54 > 0:03:56I had to rap a little bit faster.
0:03:56 > 0:03:58The song has a slower tempo to it
0:03:58 > 0:04:00and because it has a slower tempo to it,
0:04:00 > 0:04:02I need to make people be like, "Yo...this guy's moving quick!
0:04:02 > 0:04:04"OK, and now I need to keep up."
0:04:04 > 0:04:07If you got to keep up with me, now you're chasing me.
0:04:07 > 0:04:09Why? Because my music is pulling you.
0:04:09 > 0:04:11And that's pretty much the basics
0:04:11 > 0:04:13or what you always want to keep in mind
0:04:13 > 0:04:16when learning how to rap or when making your own raps.
