0:02:01 > 0:02:03Let's see how Odysseus tells the story

0:02:03 > 0:02:07of how he and his friends got away.

0:02:07 > 0:02:11It all starts as they are hiding in a cave.

0:02:56 > 0:02:58We trembled then,

0:02:58 > 0:03:00and sought the deep recesses

0:03:00 > 0:03:01of the den.

0:03:03 > 0:03:05New driven before him,

0:03:05 > 0:03:07through the arching rock

0:03:12 > 0:03:15and goats of female kind.

0:03:20 > 0:03:22to the cave's mouth he rolled

0:03:22 > 0:03:24and closed the gate.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35His labour done, he fired the pile

0:03:35 > 0:03:37that gave a sudden blaze

0:03:37 > 0:03:39and lighted all the cave.

0:03:41 > 0:03:42We stand discovered

0:04:08 > 0:04:11Luckily, he has a clever plan.

0:04:22 > 0:04:24I then approached him,

0:04:24 > 0:04:26reeking with their gall...

0:04:34 > 0:04:36..and held the brimming goblet

0:04:36 > 0:04:37foaming o'er.

0:04:43 > 0:04:45potent to digest.

0:04:51 > 0:04:54and pouring down his throat

0:05:07 > 0:05:09"that bearest celestial wine."

0:05:26 > 0:05:29to let his sheep and goats out to eat.

0:05:29 > 0:05:33This is the men's chance to escape,
