0:16:24 > 0:16:27- Oh, cool.- Seeing the tank would have been one thing,
0:16:27 > 0:16:30but a pink tank, obviously, that takes some doing.
0:16:31 > 0:16:33Getting up on the tank, with my high-heeled shoes on,
0:16:33 > 0:16:35was very tricky.
0:16:35 > 0:16:38I did manage it. I'd to get some help but, obviously, in the
0:16:38 > 0:16:41wedding dress as well, it was a little bit tricky.
0:16:45 > 0:16:46I totally enjoyed the entrance.
0:16:46 > 0:16:49I felt quite regal, sort of waving to everyone
0:16:49 > 0:16:50from the top of the tank.
0:16:50 > 0:16:53For me, it felt like a perfect entrance to the wedding,

0:18:17 > 0:18:20and see what you put your poor mum and dad through.
0:18:20 > 0:18:24I was really happy that we won this award because it was kind of like
0:18:24 > 0:18:28revenge for mum being so embarrassing.
0:18:28 > 0:18:32So we thought, well, let's make her go and swim with crocodiles.

0:19:15 > 0:19:17The self-preservation is important,
0:19:17 > 0:19:19and so I was just looking after myself.

0:19:21 > 0:19:24- You just went for the highest one... - Absolutely.- ..and left her to get

0:19:50 > 0:19:52One of the things we like to encourage on Marrying Mum and Dad
0:19:52 > 0:19:55is letting our planners' imaginations run wild.
0:19:55 > 0:19:58Whether that's an entrance to a wedding by going down a rabbit hole
0:19:58 > 0:20:02or organising a Stone Age car to transport the bride and groom to the
0:20:02 > 0:20:04wedding, it's all about the kids taking over.
0:20:04 > 0:20:08And there's no better way of getting creative than with the outfits.
0:20:08 > 0:20:13So, the award for the most terrific transformation goes to...
0:20:13 > 0:20:15DRUMROLL
0:20:19 > 0:20:20Who else?

0:20:48 > 0:20:55We planned to make her look, as a lizard, completely extraordinary.
0:20:56 > 0:20:59I think I thought it was going to be a werewolf theme, because I remember
0:20:59 > 0:21:01them gluing something to my ears,
0:21:01 > 0:21:03so I knew it wasn't just a bit of blusher and lipstick.
0:21:03 > 0:21:05There was obviously something afoot.
0:21:05 > 0:21:09When I first saw Mum, I was like, "Wow, what have we done?"
0:21:09 > 0:21:11I was speechless.
0:21:11 > 0:21:13And my mouth was just like...
0:21:13 > 0:21:16- ALL:- Three, two, one...
0:21:17 > 0:21:18Oh, my...!

0:21:26 > 0:21:29It was just so bizarre but so funny.
0:21:29 > 0:21:32I really liked kissing people because I had a tiny bit of alien

0:21:41 > 0:21:46It looked like slimy...and, like, realistic...like, gross.
0:21:49 > 0:21:51When many of the guests saw Julie for the first time, everyone was,
0:21:51 > 0:21:54like, really quiet, and, like, there was a fair few people who just
0:21:54 > 0:21:56started gasping and stuff.
0:21:56 > 0:22:00Marrying an alien, yeah, it was crazy because every time I
0:22:00 > 0:22:02looked at her I kept saying, "I wonder where Julie is?"
0:22:02 > 0:22:05I didn't recognise you at all. I kept looking for her.
0:22:05 > 0:22:07And there she was...next to me.
0:22:08 > 0:22:11It was so funny. I drove all the way from where the wedding was,
0:22:11 > 0:22:14all the way to where we live, stopping at traffic lights,
0:22:14 > 0:22:16waving at people.
