0:00:56 > 0:01:00and we show you how to make a brilliant bug in a jar.
0:01:00 > 0:01:05Find out how to make a paper plate hat in under a minute.
0:01:05 > 0:01:09But first, we make some jolly jellyfish Down Under.
0:01:13 > 0:01:17Oh, brilliant! We're in Australia!
0:01:17 > 0:01:22And look, there's an aquarium. How exciting!
0:01:22 > 0:01:26It will be full of lots of creatures that live under the sea.
0:01:26 > 0:01:27Let's have a look.
0:01:38 > 0:01:40Look! Look at all the jellyfish!
0:01:40 > 0:01:44Wibbly and wobbly and wonderful.
0:01:44 > 0:01:48And they've just given me a great idea.
0:01:48 > 0:01:50Let's try something.
0:01:50 > 0:01:55Try making this delightfully drippy jellyfish family.
0:01:56 > 0:01:58Let's make it!
0:02:00 > 0:02:04Oh, lovely! Now, we'll need a Mini Maker to help us.
0:02:04 > 0:02:07Let's see if there's one nearby.
0:02:07 > 0:02:09Hello, Mini Makers.
0:02:09 > 0:02:11Now, who's going to help me today?

0:02:20 > 0:02:25Oh, great! Chloe is on her way to help us make our picture.
0:02:25 > 0:02:28But first, we need somewhere to make it.
0:02:34 > 0:02:36Fantastic!
0:02:36 > 0:02:40The Marvellous Maker Case has become a Marvellous Making Table.
0:02:40 > 0:02:45Now we can make our picture by using these arty things.
0:02:45 > 0:02:47Some paper or card...
0:02:50 > 0:02:51..some paint...
0:02:54 > 0:02:56..some water...
0:02:59 > 0:03:01..some plastic pots...
0:03:04 > 0:03:06..some brushes, a pen...
0:03:08 > 0:03:10..and last but not least,
0:03:10 > 0:03:12my polka-dot pants.
0:03:12 > 0:03:16My polka-dot pants? Wait a minute!
0:03:16 > 0:03:18Scrappz! How did you get here?
0:03:18 > 0:03:20SCRAPPZ SQUEAKS
0:03:20 > 0:03:24Oh, dear. We don't need my polka-dot pants at the moment,
0:03:24 > 0:03:27but we do need some stickers.
0:03:27 > 0:03:29So you take these back.
0:03:30 > 0:03:34Oh, well done, Scrappz! Thank you very much.
0:03:36 > 0:03:38We've got some stickers.
0:03:40 > 0:03:44Great! We should have everything we need.
0:03:44 > 0:03:48Except, it feels like something is missing. Hmm.
0:03:48 > 0:03:49Do you know what it is?
0:03:51 > 0:03:53I'm here, Mister Maker.
0:03:53 > 0:03:57Chloe, of course! Well done. Thank you so much for coming.
0:03:57 > 0:04:02Now, you're just in time to make our picture, like this one here.
0:04:02 > 0:04:06It's a drippy jellyfish family.
0:04:06 > 0:04:10Now, this can get a little bit messy, so it's a good idea
0:04:10 > 0:04:14to put down some newspaper or some old paper first,
0:04:14 > 0:04:17and actually, I think we should put some aprons on,
0:04:17 > 0:04:19so you lead the way!
0:04:20 > 0:04:24- We look great. Now, Chloe, are you ready?- Yeah.
0:04:24 > 0:04:26Are you ready?
0:04:26 > 0:04:28Brilliant! Let's get making.
0:04:28 > 0:04:30Now, to start, we're going to make
0:04:30 > 0:04:33a very special painty mixture.
0:04:33 > 0:04:35Can I have a cup, please? That's it.
0:04:35 > 0:04:39Our painty mixture is going to be made up of half paint...
0:04:44 > 0:04:45..and half water.
0:04:49 > 0:04:52Now we need to take a brush and mix it all together.
0:04:52 > 0:04:56Then do the same with your other paint colours.
0:05:05 > 0:05:07Now take a splodge of your first colour
0:05:07 > 0:05:10and splat it onto a large piece of paper.
0:05:14 > 0:05:16That looks good.
0:05:16 > 0:05:20And now it's time to do a second splodge in a different colour.
0:05:20 > 0:05:23Chloe, why don't you grab the yellow there,
0:05:23 > 0:05:24and why don't you do
0:05:24 > 0:05:26a yellow splodge about there?
0:05:30 > 0:05:34Keep going until you've got a few splodges in different colours.
0:05:34 > 0:05:38And you can paint as many jellyfish as you like.
0:05:42 > 0:05:45Now for the really exciting part.
0:05:45 > 0:05:47While the paint is still wet,
0:05:47 > 0:05:51we're going to gently lift up the paper and let the paint drip.
0:05:52 > 0:05:57It doesn't matter if the different colours all drip into each other
0:05:57 > 0:05:59because that all adds to the effect.
0:06:00 > 0:06:04When you're happy, leave it to dry.
0:06:04 > 0:06:07And now, we're going to draw around all of the jellyfish
0:06:07 > 0:06:10to make sure they really stand out.
0:06:16 > 0:06:20And you can even add extra details like a wiggly smile.
0:06:20 > 0:06:23- Now, they're missing something, Chloe. What is it?- Eyes.
0:06:23 > 0:06:26That's right! Let's make some jellyfish eyes.
0:06:26 > 0:06:29If you grab those stickers,
0:06:29 > 0:06:33can you draw some black dots in the middle of those stickers, please?
0:06:35 > 0:06:38- Finished!- Brilliant!
0:06:38 > 0:06:39Thank you very much, Chloe.
0:06:39 > 0:06:41We've got our eyes,
0:06:41 > 0:06:43and now we can stick them on.
0:06:52 > 0:06:54We've finished our picture, Chloe.
0:06:54 > 0:06:57It's a funny family of drippy jellyfish.
0:06:57 > 0:07:01And if you enjoyed that, why not try these other ideas too?
0:07:01 > 0:07:04What about a giant drippy octopus
0:07:04 > 0:07:07with coloured stickers on its tentacles?
0:07:07 > 0:07:11Or you could even try some drippy seahorses
0:07:11 > 0:07:14with drippy manes and curly tails.
0:07:14 > 0:07:18Why don't you have fun today splodging and dripping paint?
0:07:18 > 0:07:20Thank you very much, Chloe.
0:07:20 > 0:07:21BOTH: We made it!

0:07:58 > 0:08:01- # I am a shape - La-la-la-la
0:08:03 > 0:08:05# I am a circle

0:11:19 > 0:11:21is fold the paper plate in half
0:11:21 > 0:11:24and then we'll take our scissors
0:11:24 > 0:11:26and very carefully cut around
0:11:26 > 0:11:27this rounded edge here.
0:11:27 > 0:11:31We're not going to cut all the way around.
0:11:31 > 0:11:34We're just going to go to about here
0:11:34 > 0:11:37and then cut along this section
0:11:37 > 0:11:38and that will make
0:11:38 > 0:11:42a sort of cut-out smiley face like that.
0:11:42 > 0:11:44Let's open up this and we can see
0:11:44 > 0:11:48that if we cut along the fold here,

0:12:06 > 0:12:08Here comes one sticky dot.
0:12:08 > 0:12:10Stick one sticky dot on there

0:12:28 > 0:12:30make a snip here.
0:12:30 > 0:12:31That's it, like that.
