0:10:17 > 0:10:20and we'll also need some colourful feathers.

0:10:20 > 0:10:23Now, you can find these in an arts and crafts shop,

0:11:21 > 0:11:24and fold it in half again

0:11:24 > 0:11:26to make a smaller triangle.

0:11:26 > 0:11:28Using these flappy corners,

0:11:28 > 0:11:30we'll fold one over there

0:11:30 > 0:11:33that way and the other over like that.

0:11:33 > 0:11:35Now, our beaky bird is taking shape.

0:11:35 > 0:11:36Let's take some glue,

0:11:36 > 0:11:39we're going to put lots on this side here

0:11:39 > 0:11:41and lots on this side here.

0:11:41 > 0:11:42That will help us

0:11:42 > 0:11:44stick on our paper triangles.

0:11:44 > 0:11:46Let's stick one on that side

0:11:46 > 0:11:48and one on that side.

0:11:48 > 0:11:49Now, we need to make some eyes

0:11:49 > 0:11:51and some nostrils.

0:11:51 > 0:11:52We're going to do that

0:11:52 > 0:11:53using some stickers.

0:11:53 > 0:11:55A white sticker there,

0:11:55 > 0:11:57like that, and one there.

0:11:57 > 0:11:59We can use these black stickers

0:11:59 > 0:12:01to make the pupils in the middle.

0:12:01 > 0:12:02And then these nostrils

0:12:02 > 0:12:04we'll stick on there as well.

0:12:04 > 0:12:06The last thing we need to do

0:12:06 > 0:12:08is stick on our feathers.

0:12:08 > 0:12:11Let's put plenty of glue on the back

0:12:11 > 0:12:13and grab a clump of feathers

0:12:13 > 0:12:14and stick them down,

0:12:14 > 0:12:16and we've made our beaky bird!

0:12:24 > 0:12:26you could try all sorts of ideas.

0:12:26 > 0:12:32Like this tropical toucan with a colourful stripy beak.

0:12:32 > 0:12:36Or how about this cheeky chicken, with a sunny yellow beak

0:12:36 > 0:12:38and a bright red crest?

0:12:38 > 0:12:40Or you could even create

0:12:40 > 0:12:42a terrific pterodactyl,

0:12:42 > 0:12:44made from bright green card

0:12:44 > 0:12:45with triangle teeth.

0:12:45 > 0:12:49Right, you try and make one of those ideas in just one minute.

0:12:49 > 0:12:52Here's a reminder of how to do it.

0:12:52 > 0:12:56Let's go back to the beginning and take another look.

0:12:56 > 0:12:59Fold a square of thin card in half to make a triangle.

0:12:59 > 0:13:02Then in half again to make a smaller triangle.

0:13:02 > 0:13:06Fold over the two flappy corners like this.

0:13:08 > 0:13:13Then open it out. Glue on some different coloured triangles.

0:13:13 > 0:13:16Add stickers for eyes and nostrils.

0:13:16 > 0:13:18Stick feathers to the back with a glue stick

0:13:18 > 0:13:21and your bird is finished.

0:16:25 > 0:16:29It looks great, and it's incredibly useful.

0:16:29 > 0:16:34You will need a box and some card, paint and paint brushes,

0:16:34 > 0:16:38a ruler, stickers, and a black pen,

0:16:38 > 0:16:42a glue stick, and some sticky tape.

0:16:42 > 0:16:48First, take a long, thin box and make sure one end is stuck down

0:16:48 > 0:16:50and the other end is left open.

0:16:50 > 0:16:54This is where you'll be able to store your pens and pencils.

0:16:54 > 0:16:58Give the box a coat of paint. Leave it to dry.

0:17:01 > 0:17:06Next, take a piece of card and use a ruler to help you fold it like this.

0:17:08 > 0:17:12And then tape it to the box to make the lid.

0:17:18 > 0:17:22Now, use stickers to make different coloured paints

0:17:22 > 0:17:24on your art box palette.

0:17:27 > 0:17:30Then, add some detail with a black pen.

0:17:33 > 0:17:38Lastly, stick an old paintbrush to your paintbox like this.
