0:02:00 > 0:02:03Matthew, let's get making!
0:02:03 > 0:02:07Oh, great! Matthew is on his way to help us make our picture.
0:02:07 > 0:02:11But first, we'll need somewhere to make it.
0:02:15 > 0:02:18Oh, wonderful!
0:02:18 > 0:02:23The Marvellous Maker Case has become a marvellous making table.
0:02:23 > 0:02:26Now we just need some arty things to make our picture.
0:02:26 > 0:02:30We'll need some cardboard-box card...
0:02:33 > 0:02:35..some paint...
0:02:39 > 0:02:43..some gloopy PVA glue and some kitchen foil...
0:02:47 > 0:02:50..some sticky tape, and some paintbrushes,
0:02:50 > 0:02:53and, of course, we need one more thing.
0:02:53 > 0:02:56That's right, some maracas!
0:02:56 > 0:02:59MARACAS SHAKE, SCRAPPZ HUMS
0:02:59 > 0:03:02Wait a minute... We don't need maracas!
0:03:02 > 0:03:05Scrappz, it's you! How did you get here?
0:03:05 > 0:03:08- SCRAPPZ SQUEAKS - Oh, I see.
0:03:08 > 0:03:11Scrappz, open up, please. See if you can find a pen.
0:03:11 > 0:03:13Go on, off you go.
0:03:13 > 0:03:15Oh, there we go.
0:03:15 > 0:03:19Thank you, Scrappz. Just what we need.

0:03:24 > 0:03:27Great, we've got everything we need.
0:03:27 > 0:03:31Although, it does feel like something's missing.
0:03:31 > 0:03:34Do you know what it is? Erm...
0:03:34 > 0:03:37Hi, Mister Maker.
0:03:37 > 0:03:39Of course! Matthew, it's you, my friend!
0:03:39 > 0:03:41Thank you very much for coming.
0:03:41 > 0:03:44You're just in time to help us make a picture.
0:03:44 > 0:03:48Look at that, it's a silver-lined picture
0:03:48 > 0:03:51of a brilliant boat in a wavy sea.
0:03:51 > 0:03:54- Now, Matthew, are you ready?- Yes.
0:03:54 > 0:03:56Good! Are you ready?
0:03:56 > 0:03:59Fantastic! Let's get making!
0:03:59 > 0:04:00Now, the first thing we need
0:04:00 > 0:04:04is a sheet of cardboard-box card, like this.
0:04:04 > 0:04:07We're going to draw something on it.
0:04:07 > 0:04:09You can draw whatever you like,
0:04:09 > 0:04:13but today we're going to draw a boat bobbing on the water,
0:04:13 > 0:04:15with a chimney, a flag,
0:04:15 > 0:04:18and floats along the side.
0:04:18 > 0:04:21Let's get drawing!
0:04:25 > 0:04:29When you've drawn your picture, you'll need some gloopy glue.
0:04:29 > 0:04:33Matthew, can you find some gloopy glue, please? Thank you.
0:04:33 > 0:04:35Watch this, Matthew.
0:04:36 > 0:04:41Just squeeze gloopy glue all over the lines you've drawn.
0:04:45 > 0:04:48When you've covered all the lines in your picture,
0:04:48 > 0:04:53and left the glue to dry hard and bumpy, it'll look like this.
0:04:53 > 0:04:57Now we need to cover this in a large sheet of kitchen foil.
0:04:57 > 0:05:00I think you've got some, Matthew. Can you pass it over?
0:05:00 > 0:05:02Ooh, it's a bit windy!
0:05:02 > 0:05:05Now fold the foil over the edges of the cardboard.
0:05:10 > 0:05:14And fix it in place with sticky tape and then turn it over.
0:05:14 > 0:05:18And when you've done that, you'll need this - your finger.
0:05:18 > 0:05:20Fingers at the ready.
0:05:20 > 0:05:24We need to take our fingers and we're going to very carefully rub
0:05:24 > 0:05:28the foil to make the bumps and the glue lines stand out.
0:05:30 > 0:05:33And your picture should reappear where you have rubbed.
0:05:36 > 0:05:41Now we're ready to colour in our picture inside the bumpy lines
0:05:41 > 0:05:44with a very special painty mixture.
0:05:44 > 0:05:50Now, Matthew, can you grab that big bottle of gloopy glue, please?
0:05:50 > 0:05:53Add a big squirt to each colour of paint and start mixing.
0:05:56 > 0:05:57Done.
0:05:57 > 0:06:00Thank you very much, Matthew. Good mixing.
0:06:00 > 0:06:04Now, the reason we've used gloopy glue in our mixture
0:06:04 > 0:06:07is so that the paint sticks to the foil.
0:06:07 > 0:06:11Let's start with some orange paint
0:06:11 > 0:06:15and we can paint the main part of our boat.
0:06:15 > 0:06:17Paint as carefully as you can...
0:06:18 > 0:06:23..making sure that you don't get any paint on the bumpy silver lines.
0:06:25 > 0:06:28Matthew, look, we've finished our picture.
0:06:28 > 0:06:32And by not painting on the silver bumpy lines,
0:06:32 > 0:06:34the boat really stands out.
0:06:34 > 0:06:40And we've even left some parts of the picture to add to the effect.
0:06:40 > 0:06:44And if you enjoyed that, why not try these other ideas, too?
0:06:44 > 0:06:48You could try a silver-lined car with go-faster stripes
0:06:48 > 0:06:50and a shiny silver window.
0:06:51 > 0:06:56Or how about a silver-lined rocket flying past silver stars?
0:06:58 > 0:07:02Or you could even try a silver-lined robot with a silver robot dog.
0:07:02 > 0:07:05Why don't you try one of those ideas today?
0:07:05 > 0:07:08Thank you so much for helping me, Matthew.
0:07:08 > 0:07:11- BOTH:- We made it! - High-five.
0:07:12 > 0:07:15What a great idea. Well done, Matthew.

0:07:21 > 0:07:23and have a drink of water.
0:07:23 > 0:07:25SQUEAKING
0:07:27 > 0:07:28What's that noise?
0:07:28 > 0:07:33It's coming from the Marvellous Maker Case. Can you hear that?

0:16:44 > 0:16:47so that it stands up like this.
0:16:47 > 0:16:50When you've done that, push the other piece of clay on top
0:16:50 > 0:16:54as this will become your flamingo's body.
0:16:55 > 0:16:56Next, take some paper
0:16:56 > 0:17:00and draw two wiggly lines that join up at each end.
