0:04:35 > 0:04:38Fantastic. Let's get making.

0:04:38 > 0:04:42Now, the first thing we're going to do is squeeze a big blob of paint

0:04:42 > 0:04:46in the middle of a big piece of paper. Or card.

0:04:46 > 0:04:50Chelsea, can you find a big piece of paper or card over there?

0:04:50 > 0:04:52Thank you very much.

0:04:52 > 0:04:54Then take some orange paint

0:04:54 > 0:04:57and squeeze a big blob in the middle here.

0:04:57 > 0:04:59SPLURT!

0:04:59 > 0:05:01Nice big blob.

0:05:01 > 0:05:06Now, use a brush to gently flick the paint out like this

0:05:06 > 0:05:09into a fuzzy, furry circle.

0:05:14 > 0:05:17- That's a good start, but which colour next?- Yellow!

0:05:17 > 0:05:24OK, then, let's squeeze another blob in the middle of our orange circle.

0:05:24 > 0:05:27A slightly smaller blob of paint this time,

0:05:27 > 0:05:31and then use a clean brush to flick out the yellow paint.

0:05:33 > 0:05:36When you've finished, leave it to dry.

0:05:36 > 0:05:41You can put it to one side, because now it's time to make some circles.

0:05:41 > 0:05:46Chelsea, how about you draw around this sticky tape roll

0:05:46 > 0:05:49onto some yellow paper?

0:05:54 > 0:05:57Good work! Well done, Chelsea.

0:05:57 > 0:06:00We also need some smaller circles, and to do that,

0:06:00 > 0:06:02you can use a paper cup like this.

0:06:08 > 0:06:11Excellent! We need to cut these circles out.

0:06:11 > 0:06:14- We must be careful, because scissors are...- Sharp!

0:06:14 > 0:06:17That's right!

0:06:17 > 0:06:20Here you are, Chelsea. Start cutting there.

0:06:20 > 0:06:22And I'll start cutting here.

0:06:24 > 0:06:28So now, there are two small circles for the lion's ears

0:06:28 > 0:06:31and a big circle for his face.

0:06:31 > 0:06:35Next, it's time to bring back in our dry painting that we did earlier.

0:06:37 > 0:06:39To finish the lion's face...

0:06:41 > 0:06:44..tuck the ears behind the face

0:06:44 > 0:06:46and stick them down. Brilliant!

0:06:46 > 0:06:51Our lion has a face and two ears, but what else is missing?

0:06:51 > 0:06:53Eyes, nose and mouth.

0:06:53 > 0:06:57Why don't you draw some dots inside those white circles there?

0:07:02 > 0:07:05Thank you. Right, let's stick down the eyes.

0:07:07 > 0:07:10And a triangle sticker for the nose.

0:07:10 > 0:07:13And then add some extra details with a black pen.

0:07:18 > 0:07:20Wow! Look at that, Chelsea.

0:07:20 > 0:07:26Our lion looks great, but now we can make him walk through the grass.

0:07:26 > 0:07:30Splodge a line of green paint along the bottom.

0:07:31 > 0:07:33Then flick it up.

0:07:38 > 0:07:39We've finished!

0:07:39 > 0:07:43It's a flicky paint picture of an African lion,

0:07:43 > 0:07:47and if you enjoyed that, why don't you try these other ideas too?

0:07:47 > 0:07:51How about this cute hedgehog with brown painted fur

0:07:51 > 0:07:54and ears and paws made from scrap paper?

0:07:56 > 0:08:00Or this colourful bird, with fuzzy feathers and a yellow beak?

0:08:02 > 0:08:05Or you could try a purple spider,

0:08:05 > 0:08:07with ferocious fangs and a white web.
