0:07:44 > 0:07:49Get the red card, draw sloping rectangles that face each other.

0:07:49 > 0:07:52This will be the back of our arrow.

0:08:20 > 0:08:25Then some glue on this side, there we go.

0:08:25 > 0:08:29Now I need some tape, and the hairband.

0:08:44 > 0:08:48Phew! Hilarious hairbands made in a minute.

0:08:48 > 0:08:53If you've got more than a minute you could try different designs.

0:09:01 > 0:09:07Hilarious hairbands made in a minute. Why don't you try it?

0:09:07 > 0:09:10Here's a reminder of how to do it.

0:09:10 > 0:09:14Let's go back to the beginning and take another look.

0:09:14 > 0:09:19Draw two sloping rectangle shapes facing each other on the red card.

0:09:19 > 0:09:23Draw a triangle on the grey card, and cut everything out.

0:09:23 > 0:09:26Glue them to your thin brown strips of card,

0:09:26 > 0:09:30then tape the brown strips to the headband.

0:09:30 > 0:09:32Your funny headband's complete.

0:09:32 > 0:09:36Why don't you try making it in a minute?

0:09:36 > 0:09:42Hello, Mister Maker! Guess what we're making today.

0:09:42 > 0:09:46I don't know. I wonder what they are making today.

0:09:53 > 0:09:55I'm red.

0:09:59 > 0:10:00I am orange.

0:10:03 > 0:10:05I am purple.

0:10:07 > 0:10:10I am pink.

0:10:14 > 0:10:17I'm yellow.

0:10:19 > 0:10:23I'm dark blue.

0:10:27 > 0:10:30ALL: It's a caterpillar!

0:10:30 > 0:10:34Well done, everyone! See you next time.

0:10:34 > 0:10:37Now it's time to Frame It!

0:10:39 > 0:10:41Frame It.

0:10:41 > 0:10:43Frame It!

0:10:43 > 0:10:46Now, take a look at this...

0:10:48 > 0:10:52This fantastic seaside picture looks great, doesn't it?

0:10:52 > 0:10:57It's made without using any brushes, just sponges and paint.

0:10:57 > 0:11:02It's very easy to do and looks so good you'll be able to frame it.

0:11:02 > 0:11:06You need some coloured paint, a pen and some sponge strips

0:11:06 > 0:11:11that have been carefully cut out of kitchen sponge like this.

0:11:11 > 0:11:15To make your seaside picture start off by dipping

0:11:15 > 0:11:19one of the sponge strips into blue paint,

0:11:19 > 0:11:23then drag it along the bottom of the paper like this

0:11:23 > 0:11:27so the paint spreads with the sponge. It's easy, just dip and drag

0:11:27 > 0:11:32and if you run out of paint, just dip it and drag again.

0:11:32 > 0:11:34This is going to be the sea.

0:11:34 > 0:11:39Now let's do the same again with another piece of sponge

0:11:39 > 0:11:41and some green paint.

0:11:41 > 0:11:44It's a good idea to use a clean bit of sponge

0:11:44 > 0:11:49when you use a different colour. This will be the harbour wall.

0:11:49 > 0:11:54Now let's do the seadide cliffs with some brown paint.

0:11:57 > 0:12:01Next, use some nice bright colours for the seaside houses.

0:12:01 > 0:12:06You can drag your paint downwards to make a house shape like this...

0:12:06 > 0:12:11And don't forget to add a roof with some brown paint.

0:12:11 > 0:12:16You can make as many different coloured houses as you want.

0:12:16 > 0:12:20It's starting to look really effective, isn't it?

0:12:20 > 0:12:25We can add some more blue paint above the houses for the sky.

0:12:26 > 0:12:31And now with another piece of sponge let's add some boats.

0:12:31 > 0:12:36Dip your sponge in the paint and drag it round in a curve shape.

0:12:36 > 0:12:42Add brown paint for the boat's mast with the edge of the sponge.

0:12:42 > 0:12:46You can do as many boats as you want.

0:12:48 > 0:12:53All that's left to do is add some details with a black felt tip pen.

0:12:53 > 0:12:57Draw doors and windows on your houses.

0:12:57 > 0:13:00Add some finishing touches to the boats.

0:13:00 > 0:13:05And add some details to your harbour wall so it really stands out.

0:13:05 > 0:13:07A sponge seaside picture,

0:13:07 > 0:13:11and you don't even need a paintbrush to make it!

0:13:11 > 0:13:15What a brilliant picture. Why don't you have a go?

0:13:15 > 0:13:18And then frame it!

0:13:19 > 0:13:24I like making pictures out of all sorts of things. So...

0:13:24 > 0:13:26Let's make a picture out of pegs!

0:13:30 > 0:13:32Wow!

0:13:35 > 0:13:36Wow!

0:13:46 > 0:13:49What are they going to make?

0:13:49 > 0:13:52Wow, they're balloons.

0:13:56 > 0:13:58Oh, there you are!

0:13:58 > 0:14:04I was just sorting out my string. It's all got into a terrible knot.

0:14:04 > 0:14:07Oh! Is my tummy rumbling?

0:14:07 > 0:14:11Yeah. It does that when I get a bit hungry.

0:14:11 > 0:14:14And today, I am hungry!

0:14:15 > 0:14:17It gives me an idea, though.

0:14:18 > 0:14:22On the Mister Maker menu today, a spaghetti dinner

0:14:22 > 0:14:24made with wiggly string!

0:14:24 > 0:14:27Mmm! Looks tasty - let's make it!

0:14:27 > 0:14:31But like all good cooks, we need the right ingredients,

0:14:31 > 0:14:34and they can be found in the Doodle Drawers!

0:14:36 > 0:14:38A paper plate!

0:14:41 > 0:14:45Yellow tissue paper, and a plastic fork.

0:14:48 > 0:14:51Gloopy PVA glue, and some paint!

0:14:53 > 0:14:56A sponge!

0:14:58 > 0:15:02Some scissors and some string! Phew!

0:15:02 > 0:15:04Whoa!

0:15:04 > 0:15:06Now, to make a spaghetti string dinner,

0:15:06 > 0:15:08like this one here,

0:15:08 > 0:15:13you first need to cut your string into spaghetti-length pieces.

0:15:14 > 0:15:17Be careful, though, because scissors are sharp.

0:15:17 > 0:15:19GROWLING

0:15:27 > 0:15:31Now, get a bowl with some gloopy glue in it

0:15:31 > 0:15:33and your paper plate,

0:15:33 > 0:15:36and start to dip your bits of string

0:15:36 > 0:15:38into the gloopy glue.

0:15:38 > 0:15:41There we go. It's gloopy!

0:15:41 > 0:15:44Get plenty on,

0:15:44 > 0:15:48and then squeeze off all the extra glue.

0:15:49 > 0:15:54And then place your string straight on to your plate.

0:15:54 > 0:15:56There we go. Let's do another one.

0:15:58 > 0:16:01There we go, in it goes. Whoa-ho-ho, it's gloopy!

0:16:01 > 0:16:03There it is.

0:16:03 > 0:16:06And squidge the rest off.

0:16:07 > 0:16:10And on it goes, on to the plate.

0:16:10 > 0:16:13Let your string wiggle around

0:16:13 > 0:16:15like real spaghetti.

0:16:15 > 0:16:20And keep going until you've got a lot of spaghetti on your plate!

0:16:24 > 0:16:26There! That's the spaghetti done!

0:16:26 > 0:16:30Now for the sauce - this bit over here.

0:16:30 > 0:16:35For this, carefully snip some small pieces of sponge into a bowl.

0:16:35 > 0:16:38If you find this tricky, get an adult to help you.

0:16:43 > 0:16:47And when you've got a small pile, put them to one side

0:16:47 > 0:16:51and mix some red paint into a cup...

0:16:55 > 0:16:57..with some brown paint!

0:17:00 > 0:17:02Then give it a good stir...

0:17:04 > 0:17:07WHIRRS

0:17:09 > 0:17:11Yeah, that looks good.

0:17:11 > 0:17:13Now, we can pour this

0:17:13 > 0:17:15over our sponge pieces

0:17:15 > 0:17:17and make sure it's all covered.

0:17:19 > 0:17:21Let's give it a good mix round.

0:17:21 > 0:17:23WHIRRS

0:17:25 > 0:17:29When that's done, we can pour our sauce over our spaghetti!

0:17:37 > 0:17:39Whoo-hoo, it's looking tasty!

0:17:39 > 0:17:41And now, for a finishing touch,

0:17:41 > 0:17:44how about some cheese?

0:17:44 > 0:17:46To make our cheese, we simply snip

0:17:46 > 0:17:49some small strips of yellow tissue paper

0:17:49 > 0:17:51and sprinkle them on top.

0:17:55 > 0:17:56There!

0:17:56 > 0:17:59And finally, take a plastic fork,

0:17:59 > 0:18:03and wrap a piece of gloopy string around it...

0:18:05 > 0:18:09..and then glue it to the edge of your plate.

0:18:16 > 0:18:18There! Delicious!

0:18:18 > 0:18:22And there are lots of other meals on the menu too.

0:18:22 > 0:18:25How about string spaghetti on toast?

0:18:25 > 0:18:29It's made by dipping string into orange paint and glue,

0:18:29 > 0:18:32then painting an old sponge like toast.

0:18:32 > 0:18:37Or even sweet and sour noodles, with special fried string rice!

0:18:37 > 0:18:41That's chopped-up string rice with sponge ham and tissue paper peas.

0:18:41 > 0:18:45Very tasty! What a shame we can't eat them!
