0:00:47 > 0:00:49Hello, nice to see you.

0:00:49 > 0:00:52I'm out and about in my marvellous Makermobile.

0:00:52 > 0:00:55The great thing about my Makermobile

0:00:55 > 0:00:57is that it can go anywhere.

0:00:57 > 0:00:59Wah, Tocky here.

0:00:59 > 0:01:01Mini Maker message...

0:01:01 > 0:01:03Hello, I'm Mimi.

0:01:03 > 0:01:06Hello, Mimi. Can I help you today?

0:01:06 > 0:01:10- Yes, please, Mister Maker. - I'll be right with you.

0:01:27 > 0:01:29This must be the place.

0:01:33 > 0:01:36Hello, Mimi, how can I help you today?

0:01:36 > 0:01:39Can you show me how to make something with wool?

0:01:39 > 0:01:43Actually, I've got some leftover wool that we can use.

0:01:43 > 0:01:45Now, where did I leave that?

0:01:45 > 0:01:47Oh, I know...

0:01:47 > 0:01:49Here it is, ha-ha!

0:01:49 > 0:01:51This is my old scarf.

0:01:51 > 0:01:55I always keep it handy, in case I'm feeling a bit cold.

0:01:55 > 0:01:59Oh, dear, but look, it's falling apart.

0:01:59 > 0:02:03Don't worry, though, Mimi, that's just given me a great idea.

0:02:04 > 0:02:06Let's try something.

0:02:06 > 0:02:10Try making a wiggly wool picture,

0:02:10 > 0:02:14made from an old scarf or jumper that you don't want any more.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16BOTH: Let's make it!

0:02:16 > 0:02:18But first, we need somewhere to make it.

0:02:22 > 0:02:23HE LAUGHS

0:02:23 > 0:02:27And we'll also need some things from the Doodle Drawers.

0:02:27 > 0:02:30Hold on to this, please, Mimi, I'll be back soon.

0:02:33 > 0:02:38Some gloopy PVA glue and a flowerpot.

0:02:42 > 0:02:44A piece of card.

0:02:47 > 0:02:52And we also need some felt. Let's ask Scraps if he can help.

0:02:52 > 0:02:54HONK-HONK

0:02:54 > 0:02:56HE MUMBLES

0:02:56 > 0:03:00Scraps, we need some felt. Can you look in the drawers, please?

0:03:00 > 0:03:02HE MUMBLES

0:03:02 > 0:03:03Thank you.

0:03:03 > 0:03:05RUSTLING

0:03:05 > 0:03:07HE MUMBLES

0:03:07 > 0:03:09You can't see any felt?

0:03:09 > 0:03:14That's because it's on top of your head. Come here, you!

0:03:14 > 0:03:17This is perfect, well done. Thanks, Scraps.

0:03:17 > 0:03:20That's just what I'm looking for.

0:03:20 > 0:03:25So, Mimi, we're nearly ready, but we also need some googly eyes.

0:03:25 > 0:03:28You can find these in an arts and crafts shop.

0:03:28 > 0:03:30I'll be back in...four seconds.

0:03:30 > 0:03:33One...two...

0:03:33 > 0:03:34three...four.

0:03:34 > 0:03:38I'm back. Here we are.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41Here are our googly eyes.

0:03:41 > 0:03:44Excuse me... Brilliant!

0:03:44 > 0:03:46This is what we're going to make, Mimi.

0:03:46 > 0:03:51It's a wonderful wiggly wool picture of a sheep in a field.

0:03:51 > 0:03:53- Baa!- Fantastic!

0:03:53 > 0:03:56- So, are you ready, Mimi?- Yes. - Brilliant.

0:03:56 > 0:03:59Are you ready? Great, let's get making.

0:03:59 > 0:04:04The first thing we'll do is bring in a piece of card for our background.

0:04:04 > 0:04:09We'll stick on some blue felt to our card, using gloopy glue.

0:04:15 > 0:04:18You'll need some green felt for your grass.

0:04:18 > 0:04:22And some scissors. But we must be careful because scissors are...

0:04:22 > 0:04:24- Sharp.- That's right, they are.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27Cut some wiggly edges to make grassy hills.

0:04:27 > 0:04:30Now we're ready to stick down our green grass.

0:04:30 > 0:04:32Can you help me glue it, Mimi?

0:04:33 > 0:04:37Well done. Right, let's glue this piece on first.

0:04:41 > 0:04:43Stick the other piece on top, like this.

0:04:43 > 0:04:47Now we need to cut out our sheep's face and legs.

0:04:47 > 0:04:51Carefully cut out two rectangle shapes for the legs,

0:04:51 > 0:04:54and a circle shape with ears for the face,

0:04:54 > 0:04:58from a different colour of felt. Now it's time to wiggle our wool.

0:04:58 > 0:05:03If, like me, you want to use an old woolly scarf for this picture,

0:05:03 > 0:05:05perhaps one you've just grown out of,

0:05:05 > 0:05:09always remember to ask permission from an adult first.

0:05:09 > 0:05:14So, very carefully, make a snip into the edge of it, here, like this.

0:05:16 > 0:05:19This will help you pull out your wiggly wool.

0:05:19 > 0:05:21Here it comes.

0:05:21 > 0:05:26If you haven't got an old scarf, you can use any old woolly clothes.

0:05:27 > 0:05:30When you've pulled out lots of wiggly wool,

0:05:30 > 0:05:34you can start to wrap it round a large flowerpot.

0:05:41 > 0:05:44We must be careful not to wrap it too tight.

0:05:44 > 0:05:48Cut the end off the wool. Now we can put these to one side,

0:05:48 > 0:05:52cos we're going to put a big splodge of gloopy glue

0:05:52 > 0:05:55in the middle of our picture, where we want our sheep to go.

0:05:55 > 0:06:00Now we can push our rectangle shapes into the glue first.

0:06:00 > 0:06:07Then we carefully slide the wool off the pot and onto the picture...

0:06:09 > 0:06:11..and push it into the glue.

0:06:14 > 0:06:16We can stick on the sheep's face now.

0:06:16 > 0:06:20Can you put some gloopy glue on there, please, Mimi?

0:06:20 > 0:06:22There's the face.

0:06:22 > 0:06:25Now, our sheep needs eyes, so...

0:06:26 > 0:06:30..here are our googly eyes. Can you put some gloopy glue on these?

0:06:30 > 0:06:32Oh, well done.

0:06:32 > 0:06:36There we go, two googly eyes.

0:06:36 > 0:06:38You can even add a circle of yellow felt...

0:06:38 > 0:06:42Can you put some gloopy glue on, please, Mimi?

0:06:42 > 0:06:43Well done.

0:06:43 > 0:06:46And this will be our sun. Fantastic!

0:06:46 > 0:06:48I think we'll call her Baa-bara!

0:06:48 > 0:06:50- Baa!- Oh!

0:06:50 > 0:06:52I like your hair too, Baa-bara.

0:06:52 > 0:06:56If you enjoyed that, there are other ideas you could try too.

0:06:56 > 0:07:01How about a lovely lion in the jungle, with a wiggly wool mane

0:07:01 > 0:07:04- and woolly whiskers? - ROAR!

0:07:04 > 0:07:08Or even a mermaid, with wavy woolly hair, a woolly fish

0:07:08 > 0:07:12and wiggly seaweed. Wiggly wool pictures,

0:07:12 > 0:07:13why don't you try one today?

0:07:13 > 0:07:19We made it. And now your home is where the art is. High five!

0:07:19 > 0:07:23What a wonderful wiggly picture. Well done, Mimi. Bye!

0:07:25 > 0:07:27Ha-ha, lovely!

0:07:27 > 0:07:30It's brilliant being out and about in the Makermobile.

0:07:30 > 0:07:33There's always so much to see and do.

0:07:33 > 0:07:35LAUGHTER

0:07:35 > 0:07:37What's that noise?

0:07:37 > 0:07:40Ho-ho, I know who that is.

0:07:43 > 0:07:46- Whoo-oo!- Hey!

0:07:47 > 0:07:51- # I am a shape- La, la, la, la

0:07:53 > 0:07:55- # I am a shape- La, la, la, la

0:07:57 > 0:07:59# I am a circle

0:08:02 > 0:08:04# I am a triangle

0:08:06 > 0:08:09# I am a square

0:08:12 > 0:08:14# I am a rectangle

0:08:21 > 0:08:23# I am a shape

0:08:26 > 0:08:27# I am a shape

0:08:31 > 0:08:33# I am a shape

0:08:36 > 0:08:37# I am a shape

0:08:43 > 0:08:47# I am a rectangle. #

0:08:48 > 0:08:51What are the rectangles making today?

0:08:53 > 0:08:54Can you guess?

0:08:57 > 0:08:59Any ideas yet?

0:09:02 > 0:09:04What could it be?

0:09:06 > 0:09:09It's a snake.

0:09:09 > 0:09:11Well done, Shapes.

0:09:11 > 0:09:15It's time to get back in the Doodle Drawers.

0:09:18 > 0:09:20HE LAUGHS

0:09:23 > 0:09:27Oh, this is a lovely day for a drive in the Makermobile, isn't it?

0:09:47 > 0:09:49Here I am.

0:09:55 > 0:09:59- It's minute-make time, everyone! - Yay!

0:09:59 > 0:10:04Today we're going to make something brilliant to wear on your head.

0:10:04 > 0:10:07No, it's not a woolly hat. It's one of these.

0:10:07 > 0:10:12Oh...that's better. It's a hilarious hat hair band.

0:10:12 > 0:10:14Great, isn't it?

0:10:14 > 0:10:17To make one of these, you will need...

0:10:17 > 0:10:20a pair of scissors, a glue stick,

0:10:20 > 0:10:22a black pen, some card,

0:10:22 > 0:10:25a plastic hair band and a piece of ribbon.

0:10:25 > 0:10:31Do you think it's possible to make one of these in just one minute?

0:10:31 > 0:10:33ALL: No way!

0:10:33 > 0:10:35Oh, I think I can.

0:10:35 > 0:10:38I'm going to have to be quick but don't worry,

0:10:38 > 0:10:42I'll remind you how to do it at the end. Are you ready?

0:10:42 > 0:10:44Yes!

0:10:44 > 0:10:45Are you ready?

0:10:45 > 0:10:48Great, let's make it in a minute.

0:10:48 > 0:10:51Three, two, one...

0:10:51 > 0:10:52Start the clock.

0:10:52 > 0:10:55First we've got to draw a hat shape.

0:10:55 > 0:10:58We do that by drawing a small, thin rectangle

0:10:58 > 0:11:02and then a larger rectangle on top of that.

0:11:02 > 0:11:04I'm going to cut that shape out.

0:11:04 > 0:11:06I must be careful, because scissors are...

0:11:06 > 0:11:07- ALL: SHARP! - That's right.

0:11:07 > 0:11:11I'm going as quick as I can.

0:11:11 > 0:11:14When you do this, you can be a bit more careful.

0:11:14 > 0:11:17There we go. Across there.

0:11:17 > 0:11:19And then down that side.

0:11:19 > 0:11:23And just a bit over there as well. Move those bits

0:11:23 > 0:11:25to the side. I need to put on some glue,

0:11:26 > 0:11:29here at the side. There and there, like that.

0:11:29 > 0:11:32Then we get our bit of ribbon.

0:11:32 > 0:11:36I put this on top by sticking it at the side there.

0:11:36 > 0:11:37And at the side there.

0:11:37 > 0:11:39That should be perfect.

0:11:39 > 0:11:41There we go. If I turn it over...

0:11:41 > 0:11:44- Quick! Quick!- ..I have a great hat shape.

0:11:44 > 0:11:47Put some glue on the plastic hair band.

0:11:47 > 0:11:50If I stick it on, we've got ourselves

0:11:50 > 0:11:52a hat hair band!

0:11:52 > 0:11:53BELL RINGS

0:11:53 > 0:11:55CHEERING

0:11:55 > 0:11:57And if you've got more than a minute,

0:12:26 > 0:12:31Take a piece of card, draw a hat shape and cut it out.

0:12:31 > 0:12:36Stick a piece of ribbon on the hat above the brim to make a band.

0:12:36 > 0:12:40Glue the hat to the head band and your hat head band is finished!

0:15:06 > 0:15:08Oh, interesting!

0:16:43 > 0:16:48Now stick all the containers on to a coloured paper plate.

0:16:52 > 0:16:57Then paint bricks onto your castle.

0:17:03 > 0:17:07You can even paint a drawbridge to keep everybody out.

0:17:10 > 0:17:13When that's dry, you can decorate the towers

0:17:13 > 0:17:16with paper squares, like this.

0:17:17 > 0:17:19Why not glue window shapes on as well.

0:17:27 > 0:17:31And add some extra detail with a black pen!
