0:02:34 > 0:02:39A sheet of paper or card, a paintbrush and a pen...

0:02:42 > 0:02:47..a sheet of wrapping paper, a glue stick and some gloopy PVA glue...

0:02:51 > 0:02:54..a bowl and some water...

0:03:43 > 0:03:48OK, Gracie, let's make a terrific teatime picture

0:03:48 > 0:03:52using scrunched-up kitchen foil like this one here.

0:03:52 > 0:03:55- All right, Gracie, are you ready?- Yes!

0:03:55 > 0:03:58Brilliant! Are you ready?

0:03:58 > 0:04:01Fantastic. Let's get making.

0:04:01 > 0:04:05The first thing we're going to do is stick a strip of wrapping paper

0:04:05 > 0:04:09onto the bottom of a sheet of paper.

0:04:09 > 0:04:12Gracie, can you put some glue on there?

0:04:16 > 0:04:20That's it, well done, Gracie, thank you very much.

0:04:20 > 0:04:26We can stick this down and we can see this is our tablecloth.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29Let's make the rest of our picture.

0:04:29 > 0:04:33We can see that our cake has got tasty looking layers

0:04:33 > 0:04:35and a strawberry on top.

0:04:35 > 0:04:37Let's take some kitchen foil

0:04:37 > 0:04:41and we'll scrunch it into the shape of our cake.

0:04:41 > 0:04:45Use three pieces of foil to make three layers of cake

0:04:45 > 0:04:47that are all the same size.

0:04:47 > 0:04:49You also need to make a plate,

0:04:49 > 0:04:53and why not make a strawberry shape to go on top?

0:04:53 > 0:04:56Now we need to make a very special mixture in a bowl

0:04:56 > 0:04:59of half gloopy glue...

0:05:03 > 0:05:05..and half water.

0:05:07 > 0:05:13Gracie, can you give that a stir for me, please, with the paintbrush?

0:05:13 > 0:05:17Now let's brush this mixture over our kitchen-foil shapes.

0:05:28 > 0:05:32There! Our pieces are all covered in the gloopy mixture.

0:05:32 > 0:05:36Now we can cover them in pieces of torn-up tissue paper.

0:05:36 > 0:05:40You can use whatever colour tissue paper you like.

0:05:40 > 0:05:46Gracie, can you tear up this tissue paper into small pieces, please?

0:05:48 > 0:05:51Oh, good one! Excellent.

0:05:51 > 0:05:54This brown colour is for the sponge.

0:05:54 > 0:05:58We'll need to use different colours for the filling,

0:05:58 > 0:06:00the plate and the strawberry.

0:06:00 > 0:06:07Our pieces are now dry and we've got two layers of sponge,

0:06:07 > 0:06:13a red strawberry, a green plate and a lovely creamy jam filling

0:06:13 > 0:06:16and we use red and white tissue paper for this.

0:06:16 > 0:06:19Now I'm going to pass these over to you, Gracie

0:06:19 > 0:06:23because we're going to stick them onto our table cloth.

0:06:23 > 0:06:25So can you put some glue on them, please?

0:06:28 > 0:06:31That's it.

0:06:31 > 0:06:35Let's stick our plate on, then stick the rest of our cake layers down

0:06:35 > 0:06:41and don't forget the strawberry on top. There!

0:06:41 > 0:06:46We can now add some details with a black pen to finish off our cake.

0:10:21 > 0:10:24And here's what we need.

0:10:24 > 0:10:29Some netting. Now, this is the type that fruit normally comes in.

0:10:29 > 0:10:32We'll also need googly eyes and some air-drying clay.

0:10:32 > 0:10:37You can find these things in a craft shop. I'll be back soon.

0:10:44 > 0:10:51I've got them! Here are our googly eyes, so let's put those down first.

0:10:53 > 0:10:59And also, in here, we've got some air-drying clay.

0:11:47 > 0:11:53Press down like this and we can peel it away

0:11:53 > 0:11:57to show that the marks from the netting

0:11:57 > 0:12:00have left marks on the clay.

0:12:00 > 0:12:03And it looks a bit like the scales on a snake.

0:12:03 > 0:12:08Now start to shape this into the shape of a snake.

0:12:08 > 0:12:13Let's bend his head and bend the neck like that.
