0:01:33 > 0:01:38- How can I help you today?- Can you show me how to make a sea picture?

0:01:38 > 0:01:40That's a great idea.

0:01:40 > 0:01:44I, Mister Maker, will make a super sea picture by using

0:01:44 > 0:01:48the first thing that comes out of my jacket pocket.

0:01:48 > 0:01:50Which is...

0:01:50 > 0:01:52A comb! Ha, ha!

0:01:52 > 0:01:55A comb?! I don't know how that got in there.

0:01:55 > 0:02:00Honestly, I don't. Let's try again. I, Mister Maker,

0:02:00 > 0:02:04will make a super sea picture by using the first thing

0:02:04 > 0:02:08that comes out of my other jacket pocket. Which is...

0:02:08 > 0:02:12some washing up sponges, and these sponges

0:02:12 > 0:02:15have just given me a great idea.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18Let's try something.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21Try using the things you wash up with

0:02:21 > 0:02:25to make a picture of a boat on a wavy sea.

0:02:25 > 0:02:27BOTH: Let's make it!

0:02:27 > 0:02:32But first, we'll need somewhere to make it.

0:02:32 > 0:02:36And we'll also need some things from the Doodle Drawers.

0:02:36 > 0:02:40Hold those, please. Thank you.

0:02:42 > 0:02:45A glue stick and some coloured card...

0:02:48 > 0:02:52Some more sponges, a pen and some scissors.

0:02:55 > 0:02:58And some paint.

0:03:00 > 0:03:03We also need a washing-up brush.

0:03:03 > 0:03:06I wonder if Scraps has got one.

0:03:06 > 0:03:09- SCRAPS MUMBLES - Oh, hello, Scraps.

0:03:09 > 0:03:12Have you got a brush in there, please.

0:03:12 > 0:03:16There he goes. Hee, hee!

0:03:16 > 0:03:19Sorry, Scraps. This is actually a hairbrush.

0:03:19 > 0:03:22It's quite useful...

0:03:22 > 0:03:25but it's not what we need. So can I give you that back, please?

0:03:28 > 0:03:33Oh, that's it! Well done, Scraps. A washing-up brush. Thank you.

0:03:33 > 0:03:38- SCRAPS MUMBLES - Ha, ha! Bye!

0:03:38 > 0:03:40All right then, Fin,

0:03:40 > 0:03:45let's make a wavy, washing-up picture like this one here...

0:03:45 > 0:03:49of a super sailboat sailing on a wavy sea.

0:03:49 > 0:03:53- All right then, Fin, are you ready? - Yeah.

0:03:53 > 0:03:57Brilliant! Are you ready? Great! Let's get making.

0:03:57 > 0:04:03The first thing we'll do is bring in a nice blue sheet of coloured card.

0:04:03 > 0:04:08Now, we're going to make our sea using blue, green and white paint.

0:04:08 > 0:04:14Start by squeezing dark blue paint across the card, like this.

0:04:14 > 0:04:17Then green...

0:04:17 > 0:04:20Then light blue...

0:04:20 > 0:04:24It looks good if you put two lines of white paint at the top.

0:04:24 > 0:04:28Now it's time to pick up our washing-up brush,

0:04:28 > 0:04:31which we'll dip into the lines of paint

0:04:31 > 0:04:35and move across the page to make big wave shapes.

0:04:38 > 0:04:40Ha, ha! There we go!

0:04:50 > 0:04:53Now, we can hold the picture up...

0:04:53 > 0:04:55like this

0:04:55 > 0:04:58and let the paint

0:04:58 > 0:05:01slide down the page.

0:05:01 > 0:05:03Can you see it?

0:05:03 > 0:05:05It's a bit messy and a bit drippy,

0:05:05 > 0:05:09but we can put our picture down again now.

0:05:09 > 0:05:15Then take the brush and mix the paint together to make extra waves.

0:05:15 > 0:05:18Ha, ha! Mix it all together.

0:05:18 > 0:05:23And when you've finished, leave it to dry.

0:05:23 > 0:05:28Our wavy sea is looking good already, but it's missing something.

0:05:28 > 0:05:34- What's that, Fin?- The boat, the sun and the clouds.- That's right!

0:05:34 > 0:05:38We can make those things by using sponges and cloths.

0:05:38 > 0:05:41Let's start with a piece of yellow cloth.

0:05:41 > 0:05:46And why don't you draw a circle on there to make our sun, Fin?

0:05:46 > 0:05:49And I'm going to draw a cloud.

0:05:52 > 0:05:56Carry on drawing until you've drawn all your shapes.

0:05:56 > 0:06:01- Then we can cut them out. Will you help me, Fin?- Yes.- Brilliant.

0:06:01 > 0:06:05- Careful with scissors because they are...- Sharp.

0:06:05 > 0:06:11That's right. Be very careful, my friend. There's some scissors.

0:06:11 > 0:06:15Now our shapes are ready to glue on to the picture.

0:06:15 > 0:06:20Can you put glue on there for me? I'll bring back our wavy sea...

0:06:20 > 0:06:23and then we can stick everything down!

0:06:27 > 0:06:31All finished! A wonderful, wavy washing-up picture.

0:06:31 > 0:06:36You can use sponges and cloths to make all sorts of pictures.

0:06:36 > 0:06:40You could make someone swimming through the waves

0:06:40 > 0:06:43with a spotty swimming cap and goggles.

0:06:43 > 0:06:46You could put waves across the top of the page,

0:06:46 > 0:06:49to make a beach with a crab and shells.

0:06:49 > 0:06:53Wavy washing-up pictures. Try one today!

0:06:53 > 0:06:55- What do you think, Fin?- Great.

0:06:55 > 0:06:58I think you're great as well. We made it!

0:07:47 > 0:07:49I am a triangle.

0:07:52 > 0:07:54I am a square.

0:07:57 > 0:08:00I am a rectangle.

0:08:04 > 0:08:07I am a shape.
