:00:16. > :00:26.It has been the international break so we

:00:27. > :00:28.have been away from your screens for two whole weeks.

:00:29. > :00:34.We are making up for it with a jam-packed show this week.

:00:35. > :00:38.We predict the future or at least the future of this weekend's

:00:39. > :00:43.With the help of a football supercomputer.

:00:44. > :00:45.Some young fans are surprised at training when two Man

:00:46. > :00:49.And with it being officially FA girls football week,

:00:50. > :00:51.we take a look at some great goals from the pros.

:00:52. > :00:56.All that and loads more but first, let's quickly catch up on the

:00:57. > :01:06.Since we last saw you, England have a new manager,

:01:07. > :01:08.they have dropped their captain and could only manage a draw in

:01:09. > :01:13.Wales got two draws, one good and one bad, if

:01:14. > :01:16.Austria away was always going to be tough but Georgia

:01:17. > :01:20.at home should really have been a win.

:01:21. > :01:23.Things are not looking good for

:01:24. > :01:25.Scotland either, only a point from their two

:01:26. > :01:31.games has left manager Gordon Strachan's future uncertain.

:01:32. > :01:33.And Northern Ireland had a great win, followed by a defeat

:01:34. > :01:35.to the world champions so, on balance, not all

:01:36. > :01:40.Off the pitch, there has been some fun and games too so time now

:01:41. > :01:46.Notice something weird about the Wales

:01:47. > :01:51.Surely this is a bit of a private joke, don't you think?

:01:52. > :01:54.We all know it is six at the top and five

:01:55. > :02:02.If you look closer, you can just about see the smirk on their faces.

:02:03. > :02:05.Check out this training drill from the Norwich keepers.

:02:06. > :02:07.They call it spike ball and as you can see, it

:02:08. > :02:22.Now, your eyes don't deceive you, a team in Argentina have been

:02:23. > :02:24.ordered to fix their wonky pitch which has been

:02:25. > :02:33.No, it is not April Fools' Day, that pitch is really like that.

:02:34. > :02:35.OK, the Premier League is back this weekend

:02:36. > :02:38.and already, we have a change to our managerial merry-go-round.

:02:39. > :02:42.Yes, Francesco Guidolin has paid the price for Swansea's

:02:43. > :02:45.poor start to the season and in comes the league's first American

:02:46. > :02:50.Oh, I have just seen him, come on, where are you?

:02:51. > :02:59.And I'm sure that won't be the last time I refer to the

:03:00. > :03:01.Anyway, here are today's Premier League

:03:02. > :03:04.Loads of great games, including leaders Man City hosting

:03:05. > :03:15.But there is a real standout one for me and that is

:03:16. > :03:17.Not only is this the mouthwatering match but

:03:18. > :03:20.there are loads of interesting links between these two for a statto

:03:21. > :03:24.Take N'Golo Kante for example, one of the

:03:25. > :03:26.players of last season for Leicester, now of

:03:27. > :03:30.Bridge and playing against his former club for the first time.

:03:31. > :03:33.You all know about Kante bid did you know that Leicester boss Claudio

:03:34. > :03:35.Ranieri used to manage Chelsea over 15 years ago?

:03:36. > :03:40.And he was in his Chelsea squad back them?

:03:41. > :03:44.None other than a very youthful looking Robert Huth.

:03:45. > :03:46.Now, of course, with Ranieri at Leicester, all

:03:47. > :03:48.highly confusing and I couldn't talk Chelsea versus Leicester without

:03:49. > :03:54.watching this amazing strike one more time.

:03:55. > :03:59.Last season, of course, this is at the King Power, he goes one

:04:00. > :04:05.Great goal and it was of course I probably got

:04:06. > :04:07.people thinking that Leicester could be title contenders.

:04:08. > :04:10.Right, you all know how much I like predicting

:04:11. > :04:13.match results here on kickabout and you all know how bad they can be

:04:14. > :04:17.Not today though because I have enlisted the help of a professional

:04:18. > :04:19.who uses a supercomputer to make his predictions.

:04:20. > :04:26.So, this supercomputer done, how does it work?

:04:27. > :04:32.the results of matches and on playing ability of players

:04:33. > :04:35.that we feed into a statistical novel of

:04:36. > :04:38.football matches to try and answer some interesting questions.

:04:39. > :04:40.Companies now collect data on the location

:04:41. > :04:46.events that go on during a football match so the pass origin, the pass

:04:47. > :04:49.destination, for example, is just one of the things that we include so

:04:50. > :04:52.we run these algorithms across Europe, all the top leagues in

:04:53. > :04:55.Europe so we know which players are playing the best at the moment.

:04:56. > :04:57.I know this supercomputer uses algorithms but what exactly are

:04:58. > :05:00.An algorithm is basically another word for equation.

:05:01. > :05:02.We have inputs which, in this occasion, the

:05:03. > :05:05.player ratings and outputs which, on this occasion, are the estimated

:05:06. > :05:09.So an algorithm basically turns input into output that you are

:05:10. > :05:12.Oh, well, don't keep us in suspense, Ian.

:05:13. > :05:15.He will be looking at as the top names, your Messis, your Renaldos?

:05:16. > :05:20.The people you would expect are up there but at the

:05:21. > :05:26.moment, Son of Tottenham is actually play the best football of any

:05:27. > :05:39.The basic task of predicting the results of a football

:05:40. > :05:41.match is to try and estimate the number of goals

:05:42. > :05:47.Well, I'm going to put that to the test now, Ian, because we

:05:48. > :05:49.have asked you to predict some of our games,

:05:50. > :05:50.some of the big games of

:05:51. > :05:52.this weekend and the first one is Chelsea versus Leicester.

:05:53. > :05:54.See you have crunched the numbers, let's see

:05:55. > :06:03.Based on the players that are on each

:06:04. > :06:05.team, we expect them to score about the same

:06:06. > :06:06.number of goals but the

:06:07. > :06:12.I know you have got all this data on everything from every player but

:06:13. > :06:15.does it take into account, let's say, someone has a late night the

:06:16. > :06:19.night before or has a dodgy tummy the next morning or how can you

:06:20. > :06:21.possibly encounter and encompass that in the predictions you make?

:06:22. > :06:25.All we can take into account is how the players

:06:26. > :06:27.have been playing in the recent past.

:06:28. > :06:27.That's very interesting to

:06:28. > :06:30.know, we are going to do it one more time.

:06:31. > :06:32.This game is the big match on

:06:33. > :06:33.Monday night, Liverpool versus Man United.

:06:34. > :06:35.Let's see what the supercomputer thinks to that one.

:06:36. > :06:39.Can you tell us why the supercomputer

:06:40. > :06:45.There we go, perhaps it not controversial to you, then.

:06:46. > :06:47.But the supercomputer is neutral, he's unbiased.

:06:48. > :06:58.Liverpool and United have both got strong

:06:59. > :07:00.attacking lines and Liverpool forcing the three players and do the

:07:01. > :07:03.same side, they are scoring lots of goals and we

:07:04. > :07:05.expect them to carry on

:07:06. > :07:08.scoring lots of goals the way they are playing at the moment.

:07:09. > :07:09.Well, it's absolutely fascinating, Ian.

:07:10. > :07:13.And in the lead up to this game, you will

:07:14. > :07:15.never guess what your manager has been up to.

:07:16. > :07:44.Well, Ian, as great as your supercomputer

:07:45. > :07:47.is, I am just a tad disappointed it couldn't have predicted Jurgen Klopp

:07:48. > :07:50.going bowling, I mean, what a guy though, right?

:07:51. > :07:52.It's more evidence that he is one of the greatest

:07:53. > :07:59.Now, whilst Jurgen was meeting some senior

:08:00. > :08:01.football fans, two Man United players this week decided to

:08:02. > :08:03.surprise some fans of the younger generation.

:08:04. > :08:08.Jenny Buckley was there for Kickabout.

:08:09. > :08:15.When I was at school, PE was one of the highlights

:08:16. > :08:20.of my week and it looks like it is for these girls.

:08:21. > :08:22.What they don't know is that their week is about to

:08:23. > :08:45.What would you say to me if I said we have got

:08:46. > :08:52.two Man United players coming to join yesterday?

:08:53. > :08:59.They are going to come and take you on now.

:09:00. > :09:10.You can join any team you like, boys.

:09:11. > :09:18.We're just going to do some dribbling.

:09:19. > :09:32.Show me what your faces did when you saw them.

:09:33. > :09:40.I never actually thought they would be that massive.

:09:41. > :09:43.It's the first time I have ever seen a player.

:09:44. > :09:46.I just thought we were going to have like a

:09:47. > :09:56.Then for those legends to come in, it was just unbelievable.

:09:57. > :09:57.Young against McNaughton and still Ashley

:09:58. > :10:07.Yes, it was very good, it was nice to the see the girls

:10:08. > :10:09.and I think they were pretty surprised that we

:10:10. > :10:12.had turned up today but it is always nice to see smiling faces.

:10:13. > :10:14.What do you think, you have been having a

:10:15. > :10:16.kickabout with them and watching them?

:10:17. > :10:19.Dribbling around the cones and seeing the different

:10:20. > :10:23.It's all about giving back and coming

:10:24. > :10:24.down to see it first hand is fantastic.

:10:25. > :10:27.To see the girls smiling, happy, being out there.

:10:28. > :10:29.Obviously the weather is not the best but it happens and

:10:30. > :10:33.the girls, they are loving it so it is good to see.

:10:34. > :10:36.It's nice because as you know, is more famous for men and

:10:37. > :10:38.everything but I think in the last four years,

:10:39. > :10:43.getting promoted and the football is getting better so it is nice to see

:10:44. > :10:46.them play and enjoy ourselves as well because I think women can do

:10:47. > :10:51.It's just lovely watching them have a kickabout with

:10:52. > :11:03.It's amazing, you see the faces when they come in as

:11:04. > :11:09.To get an actual professional coming to play with

:11:10. > :11:12.them today, they won't have stopped talking about it forever.

:11:13. > :11:14.Some of the girls, the older girls, they

:11:15. > :11:17.have been with me three, four years and just to give

:11:18. > :11:21.that I had when I was playing and stuff like that, it's

:11:22. > :11:34.Amazing to see two United stars helping celebrate

:11:35. > :11:36.girls' football week, an FA intiative to get more

:11:37. > :11:41.There's certainly inspiration at the top level so let's revel

:11:42. > :12:14.at some of the best goals at this year's women's superleague.

:12:15. > :12:58.Great goals and judging by what we are about to see, there are some big

:12:59. > :13:10.stars of the future in the making as well. First up, here is Isabel.

:13:11. > :13:17.Great goal. Look about celebration. She is loving it. Here is Charlotte

:13:18. > :13:22.and she deserves a pot of gold because that is not one but two

:13:23. > :13:26.rainbow flicks. It is catching because Brooke has done one write to

:13:27. > :13:35.the back of the garden and she should be pleased. Brilliant stuff.

:13:36. > :13:40.Those rainbow flicks also caught the attention of a certain kickabout

:13:41. > :13:43.trickster. Well, Charlotte Lambrook, those rainbow flicks were

:13:44. > :13:49.incredible. I tell you what, because you are so good at that, why did you

:13:50. > :14:03.give this a try? -- why don't you give this a try? OK, I hope you

:14:04. > :14:07.enjoyed about rainbow of the nation. Keep working hard and keep

:14:08. > :14:11.practising. I will see you soon. Only John could tell the brain
