0:00:39 > 0:00:40Here's what's coming up.
0:00:40 > 0:00:43A certain Mr Rooney broke Sir Bobby Charlton's scoring
0:00:43 > 0:00:44record last weekend.
0:00:44 > 0:00:47We'll bring you Wazza's top five goals.
0:00:47 > 0:00:53Have you ever wondered what happens when footballers get bad injuries?
0:00:53 > 0:00:55We meet the surgeon who rebuilds knees - ouch!
0:00:55 > 0:00:58- and gets pros back on the pitch.
0:00:58 > 0:01:00And who's the best dancer at Manchester City?
0:01:00 > 0:01:02Find out with our exclusive interview with superstar
0:01:02 > 0:01:06defender John Stones.
0:01:06 > 0:01:09All that to come and, of course, we'll be giving you the lowdown
0:01:09 > 0:01:12on this weekend's FA Cup fourth round fixtures.
0:01:12 > 0:01:15There have been some cracking goals so far in this year's competition
0:01:15 > 0:01:19but if you're looking for the best FA Cup goal ever, you could do a lot
0:01:19 > 0:01:21worse than this scorcher.
0:01:27 > 0:01:30In a dream five-a-side team, Trev would obviously be supplying
0:01:30 > 0:01:32the spectacular volleys but who would he choose
0:01:32 > 0:01:33to pick out the passes?
0:01:33 > 0:01:37Here's the man himself to tell us, only with a bit less hair!
0:01:39 > 0:01:41My all-time five-a-side team would be, in net,
0:01:41 > 0:01:45Fabien Barthez says.
0:01:45 > 0:01:46I like him a lot.
0:01:46 > 0:01:49I feel he had everything it takes to be a goalkeeper.
0:01:49 > 0:01:50Very crazy.
0:01:50 > 0:01:53A lot of charisma and won a World Cup.
0:01:55 > 0:01:56Cafu.
0:01:56 > 0:01:59Still play against him now in certain testimonials.
0:01:59 > 0:02:00He's an absolute machine.
0:02:00 > 0:02:03He's probably ten years older than me and still fit as a fiddle.
0:02:03 > 0:02:06Never makes a mistake and, obviously, won the World Cup
0:02:06 > 0:02:07a couple of times.
0:02:07 > 0:02:10Horrible to play against so I'd like him in my team now, please.
0:02:12 > 0:02:16I'm going to go in midfield because that's a necessity for this team.
0:02:16 > 0:02:18I'm going to go alongside the great number seven wearer
0:02:18 > 0:02:19of Manchester United, George Best.
0:02:19 > 0:02:22I watched him a lot growing up and, obviously, the story
0:02:22 > 0:02:23behind him and what he did...
0:02:23 > 0:02:24It comes to Best.
0:02:24 > 0:02:27Beautiful!
0:02:27 > 0:02:29Either Lionel Messi or Ronaldo.
0:02:29 > 0:02:32I'd go for Lionel Messi.
0:02:32 > 0:02:35One, it's a five-a-side team.
0:02:35 > 0:02:37Two because he is absolutely incredible,
0:02:37 > 0:02:39and three, I want to know if he's actually a human
0:02:39 > 0:02:41or if he's an alien.
0:02:41 > 0:02:49That's my team and I hope you enjoyed it.
0:02:49 > 0:02:50Great stuff!
0:02:50 > 0:02:54Thanks, Trevor.
0:02:54 > 0:02:57But you know, you're not the only one with some tricks in your locker.
0:02:57 > 0:02:59Check these out!
0:03:09 > 0:03:10First up, it's Jadyn.
0:03:10 > 0:03:12She curls in a corner and in it comes.
0:03:12 > 0:03:13Oh, no!
0:03:13 > 0:03:14Yes, it's gone in!
0:03:14 > 0:03:15What a goal.
0:03:15 > 0:03:16And what's James up to here?
0:03:16 > 0:03:18Oh, it's straight in the bin.
0:03:18 > 0:03:19Have that one!
0:03:19 > 0:03:21Surely George can't be thinking of scoring from there?
0:03:21 > 0:03:22Oh, yes, he can.
0:03:22 > 0:03:23It's gone in!
0:03:23 > 0:03:28Not satisfied with one stunner in a game, it's George
0:03:28 > 0:03:29with an outrageous long ranger.
0:03:29 > 0:03:31Pick that out!
0:03:31 > 0:03:33And finally, here's Christian with some very nimble
0:03:33 > 0:03:34and very nifty footwork.
0:03:34 > 0:03:36Yes, keep up those drills and skills, Christian.
0:03:36 > 0:03:39Great stuff.
0:03:44 > 0:03:45Amazing stuff!
0:03:45 > 0:03:47Please keep them coming in.
0:03:47 > 0:03:49But now, it's time to catch up on this week's more
0:03:49 > 0:03:56unusual footie stories.
0:03:56 > 0:03:58It's our Headline Hitters.
0:03:58 > 0:04:01When their game against Crawley Town was postponed, last weekend,
0:04:01 > 0:04:04Portsmouth defender Christian Burgess tweeted
0:04:04 > 0:04:08that he was at a loose end, which prompted the enterprising
0:04:08 > 0:04:11coach of a local under 12s' side to jokingly invite him to come along
0:04:11 > 0:04:13and help with training, and guess what - he only
0:04:13 > 0:04:15went and turned up!
0:04:15 > 0:04:19Good on you, Christian!
0:04:21 > 0:04:25I think Scottish club St Johnstone may have just released the best
0:04:25 > 0:04:27football lip-synched video ever.
0:04:27 > 0:04:34Well, OK, the competition isn't that great but check out this impeccable
0:04:34 > 0:04:38mining to an obscure '90s pop song called Blue!
0:04:38 > 0:04:41It's all in the hope of getting fans to turn up to the next game
0:04:41 > 0:04:43against Hamilton Academical in their home colours, which are,
0:04:43 > 0:04:44of course, read the.
0:04:44 > 0:04:45No, I'm only kidding.
0:04:45 > 0:04:46It's blue!
0:04:46 > 0:04:53Someone else who made the headlines this week was Mr Wayne Rooney.
0:04:53 > 0:04:56His last-minute goal at Stoke didn't quite break the net
0:04:56 > 0:04:57but it did break a record.
0:04:57 > 0:04:59Footballing legend Sir Bobby Charlton scored 249 goals
0:04:59 > 0:05:02for Man United throughout his career but our Wazza has just
0:05:02 > 0:05:03scored his 250th!
0:05:03 > 0:05:04Let's take a closer look.
0:05:04 > 0:05:08That mighty right foot of his is his favourite but he's
0:05:08 > 0:05:11also netted 27 off his left peg plus 30 with his head!
0:05:11 > 0:05:13And Wayne can bang them in from anywhere, scoring 213
0:05:13 > 0:05:17inside the box but also 37 outside of it.
0:05:17 > 0:05:20And he's a bit of a dead ball specialist, too,
0:05:20 > 0:05:23with 26 penalties and six direct free kicks, including that stunner
0:05:23 > 0:05:24against Stoke that broke the record.
0:05:24 > 0:05:26Impressive stuff, but let's cut to the chase.
0:05:26 > 0:05:31Of all of those 250, which are his best?
0:05:31 > 0:05:37Here's our choice of the top five.
0:05:40 > 0:05:41Ronaldo, disguised ball to Rooney.
0:05:41 > 0:05:43Lovely combination.
0:05:43 > 0:05:44Here goes Ronaldo.
0:05:44 > 0:05:47Rooney to his left hand side, gets to the right.
0:05:47 > 0:05:48Perfect ball.
0:05:48 > 0:05:50Wayne Rooney for Manchester United.
0:05:50 > 0:05:53What a goal.
0:06:01 > 0:06:02Oh, what a goal.
0:06:02 > 0:06:04Rooney.
0:06:04 > 0:06:05It's back with Wayne Rooney!
0:06:05 > 0:06:09What a goal!
0:06:09 > 0:06:11That is a superb strike.
0:06:20 > 0:06:21He's beaten to it and it's away.
0:06:21 > 0:06:23Here's Rooney with the turn.
0:06:23 > 0:06:24Rooney goes for the extraordinary!
0:06:24 > 0:06:32Oh, and it's an unbelievable goal from Wayne Rooney!
0:06:38 > 0:06:41Ramage's header falls to Rooney.
0:06:43 > 0:06:46It's another one for the gallery of superb Wayne Rooney goals!
0:06:52 > 0:06:58Scholes can keep United moving here.
0:06:58 > 0:07:00Rooney!
0:07:00 > 0:07:03Absolutely fantastic.
0:07:03 > 0:07:07That is very, very special and that is Wayne Rooney.
0:07:12 > 0:07:16Amazing!
0:07:16 > 0:07:20And I'm sure he'll be looking to add to his tally as United take on Wigan
0:07:20 > 0:07:21in the Cup tomorrow.
0:07:21 > 0:07:26Like all footballers, Rooney's had his share of injuries
0:07:26 > 0:07:30over the years but there's one injury players dread most of all.
0:07:30 > 0:07:33We sent Ben to find out what it is and to meet
0:07:33 > 0:07:35a man who can fix it.
0:07:35 > 0:07:37Midfielder Chris Brunt has been a key player for West Brom
0:07:37 > 0:07:39for nearly ten years.
0:07:39 > 0:07:43He also has over 50 caps for his country, Northern Ireland,
0:07:43 > 0:07:48and helped them to qualify for the Euros last summer.
0:07:48 > 0:07:50But just when he was looking forward to his first major international
0:07:50 > 0:07:53tournament, this happened.
0:07:53 > 0:07:55Brunt is in real pain.
0:07:55 > 0:07:58It's the back of his right knee, and he yelped as he went down.
0:07:58 > 0:08:00We were doing OK.
0:08:00 > 0:08:03I think we were 3-0 up at the time and then it was just a loose
0:08:03 > 0:08:07ball and I think I read that he was going to miss it
0:08:07 > 0:08:11and changed direction at the last minute and,
0:08:11 > 0:08:13obviously, it was too much for my knee to take
0:08:13 > 0:08:16and I just went down.
0:08:16 > 0:08:19It was really sore for a couple of minutes and then went numb
0:08:19 > 0:08:22and when you can't feel your leg after five minutes, it's
0:08:22 > 0:08:23probably not a good sign.
0:08:23 > 0:08:26Chris Brunt had torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
0:08:26 > 0:08:28But he's not the only one to have suffered that injury.
0:08:28 > 0:08:31Everton's Yannick Bolasie has just been told he won't play for a whole
0:08:31 > 0:08:34year whilst he recovers from the same thing and,
0:08:34 > 0:08:36if you're a female player, you're even more likely
0:08:36 > 0:08:39to suffer this injury.
0:08:39 > 0:08:40Chelsea's Claire Rafferty has done it twice.
0:08:40 > 0:08:43But what and where is an anterior cruciate ligament, and how do
0:08:43 > 0:08:46you fix it if it's damaged?
0:08:46 > 0:08:56It's time for us to find out.
0:09:03 > 0:09:06Professor Sanj Jari is a top surgeon who has operated
0:09:06 > 0:09:08on lots of sports people over the years, including footballers.
0:09:08 > 0:09:10He's an expert on fixing this kind of injury.
0:09:10 > 0:09:11Hi, Professor.
0:09:11 > 0:09:12Hello.
0:09:12 > 0:09:14Hi, nice to meet you.
0:09:14 > 0:09:15And you.
0:09:15 > 0:09:16Come and have a seat.
0:09:16 > 0:09:17Thank you very much.
0:09:17 > 0:09:19I know that you've treated lots of top professional footballers
0:09:19 > 0:09:20with this serious injury.
0:09:20 > 0:09:23Can you tell me more about the anterior cruciate ligament?
0:09:23 > 0:09:24So, there are two cruciate ligaments.
0:09:24 > 0:09:29This one here is called the anterior cruciate ligament and then
0:09:29 > 0:09:31there is another one at the back of the knee called
0:09:31 > 0:09:32the posterior cruciate ligament.
0:09:32 > 0:09:36The typical thing that will happen is your knee will bend a little bit
0:09:36 > 0:09:39and then your knee rotates and this top part of the knee comes out
0:09:39 > 0:09:41of place and as that happens, the ACL will stretch
0:09:41 > 0:09:42and it will tear.
0:09:42 > 0:09:4525 years ago, it was a career-ending injury.
0:09:45 > 0:09:47If I'd torn my ACL, what would you do to reconstruct my knee?
0:09:47 > 0:09:51To start with, we would do a keyhole operation.
0:09:51 > 0:09:55So we'd make a couple of small cuts on each side
0:09:55 > 0:09:59of the tendon and with that, you can put a camera into your knee,
0:09:59 > 0:10:01and various instruments, so we can have a look around
0:10:01 > 0:10:02the whole of your knee.
0:10:02 > 0:10:06In my case, what I would do is then make this incision a little bit
0:10:06 > 0:10:09bigger and through that incision, I can go into the middle
0:10:09 > 0:10:11of your knee and start to do the actual reconstruction.
0:10:11 > 0:10:14We would take out the middle third of this, which is the same
0:10:14 > 0:10:16as the middle third of that.
0:10:16 > 0:10:21And that would then come out and we would pass it
0:10:21 > 0:10:23through the knee and that would become your new ligament.
0:10:23 > 0:10:26How long would it be before I was back playing football?
0:10:26 > 0:10:28You could get back as quick as six months.
0:10:28 > 0:10:31The average is about six to nine months, anywhere up to 12 months.
0:10:31 > 0:10:34Any injury is bad news and tearing your ACL is definitely
0:10:34 > 0:10:37one of the most serious in the game.
0:10:37 > 0:10:45But thanks to the incredible skills of people like this professor,
0:10:45 > 0:10:48even if the worst happens, our favourite players can soon
0:10:48 > 0:10:48be back to their best.
0:10:50 > 0:10:52Thanks, Ben.
0:10:52 > 0:10:55I know we talk a lot about skills on Kickabout but what about those
0:10:55 > 0:10:58skills from the Professor?
0:10:58 > 0:11:03Awesome!
0:11:03 > 0:11:06Now it's time to build up to the big FA Cup fixtures of the weekend.
0:11:06 > 0:11:08And remember, we want you to get involved.
0:11:08 > 0:11:12Maybe you've got a favourite FA Cup memory or you want to give your
0:11:12 > 0:11:15verdict on a game you're going to or one you've
0:11:15 > 0:11:17watched on the telly.
0:11:17 > 0:11:19Whatever it is, we'd love you to tell us
0:11:19 > 0:11:20about your FA Cup experiences.
0:11:20 > 0:11:23Just upload your photos or videos using the CBBC
0:11:23 > 0:11:24Uploader on the website.
0:11:24 > 0:11:26There are some cracking cup ties in prospect.
0:11:26 > 0:11:28Shortly, all eyes will be on Lincoln City on Saturday.
0:11:28 > 0:11:30Can the non-league team possibly pull off another giant-killing
0:11:30 > 0:11:31against high-flying Brighton?
0:11:31 > 0:11:35It's what cup dreams are made of.
0:11:35 > 0:11:36There's a chance for fellow non-league side Sutton
0:11:36 > 0:11:39United to cause an upset, but that ain't going to happen,
0:11:39 > 0:11:42I'm afraid, as they're playing the best team in the
0:11:42 > 0:11:43universe, Leeds United.
0:11:43 > 0:11:44Anyway, meanwhile, it's all Premier League
0:11:44 > 0:11:46clash at Selhurst Park, where Crystal Palace
0:11:46 > 0:11:54take on Manchester City.
0:11:54 > 0:11:57One man who will be trying to stop Benteke and co
0:11:57 > 0:12:03is superstar defender John Stones.
0:12:03 > 0:12:06He visited a Manchester school this week for the PlayStation Schools Cup
0:12:06 > 0:12:09and we sent two budding reporters to grill him in the classroom.
0:12:09 > 0:12:10Barnsley were your first club.
0:12:10 > 0:12:13Who did you score your only goal for them against?
0:12:13 > 0:12:13Rochdale.
0:12:13 > 0:12:16I know these, cos I didn't score many goals!
0:12:16 > 0:12:18Who did you make your Everton debut against?
0:12:18 > 0:12:19Stevenage.
0:12:19 > 0:12:24Who did you make your England debut against?
0:12:24 > 0:12:26Oh, I think it was Peru.
0:12:26 > 0:12:27Yeah.
0:12:27 > 0:12:29Who did you replace as a substitute that day?
0:12:29 > 0:12:30Leighton Baines.
0:12:30 > 0:12:32Who was your only Premier League goal for Everton against?
0:12:32 > 0:12:35Manchester United.
0:12:35 > 0:12:37Flicks onto the front post and in.
0:12:37 > 0:12:38John Stones!
0:12:38 > 0:12:41Can you remember the final score?
0:12:41 > 0:12:423-1, I think.
0:12:42 > 0:12:47Is that right?
0:12:47 > 0:12:513-0?
0:12:51 > 0:12:53Can you remember who scored the other goals?
0:12:53 > 0:12:55James McCarthy and...
0:12:55 > 0:12:57You're going to have to help me out.
0:12:57 > 0:12:58Kevin Mirallas.
0:12:58 > 0:13:01If you weren't a footballer, what would you like to be?
0:13:01 > 0:13:02Difficult question.
0:13:02 > 0:13:04I would have been something in sport.
0:13:04 > 0:13:05I don't know exactly what.
0:13:05 > 0:13:10If you could time travel, would you rather go back in history
0:13:10 > 0:13:11or visit the future?
0:13:11 > 0:13:14I think I'd visit the future because it's the unknown, isn't it?
0:13:14 > 0:13:16If you had to play another professional
0:13:16 > 0:13:17sport, what would it be?
0:13:17 > 0:13:19I played rugby as a kid.
0:13:19 > 0:13:20I quite liked rugby.
0:13:20 > 0:13:23But I think I'd like to play golf.
0:13:23 > 0:13:25Have you ever worn a disguise so you don't get recognised?
0:13:25 > 0:13:26I haven't, no.
0:13:26 > 0:13:31I wear a hat sometimes but never a full disguise.
0:13:31 > 0:13:35Who were your heroes in football?
0:13:35 > 0:13:42Pele was a great player.
0:13:42 > 0:13:44More my generation, when I was growing up,
0:13:44 > 0:13:47I used to love watching Beckham, how he kicked a ball.
0:13:47 > 0:13:48That's Beckham.
0:13:48 > 0:13:49Oh, it's in!
0:13:49 > 0:13:52Who was the best striker you have ever faced as a defender?
0:13:52 > 0:13:53Lionel Messi, without a doubt.
0:13:53 > 0:13:56I'm a big fan of his and got the chance to
