0:01:50 > 0:01:53I started dancing when I was ten years old.

0:01:53 > 0:02:01I got into it because our mum was a ballet dancer and started teaching.

0:02:01 > 0:02:04She was teaching our sister Sarah.

0:02:04 > 0:02:07There always needed boys for their shows,

0:02:07 > 0:02:12so myself and a few of my friends got roped into it.

0:02:12 > 0:02:16Jonathan started dancing for fun when he was ten years old,

0:02:16 > 0:02:21but by the time he was 15, he realised that he loved ballet

0:02:21 > 0:02:24and he wanted to become a professional dancer,

0:02:24 > 0:02:27which takes lots and lots of practice every day.

0:02:27 > 0:02:31And that's Jonathan with his sister, Sara Marie,

0:02:31 > 0:02:33who's also a ballet dancer.

0:03:20 > 0:03:24We use this when we're learning new steps to find our balance.

0:03:28 > 0:03:35I've fallen down lots. But you know what the most important thing is?

0:04:46 > 0:04:52Ballet dancing isn't just for girls. Lots of boys love it too.

0:09:29 > 0:09:34Last of all, Sarah puts on lipstick, and Maria now has very red lips.
