0:04:27 > 0:04:28Here they are.
0:04:28 > 0:04:32Your grandad did all of these drawings and he had to think a lot

0:05:16 > 0:05:19He had to be very clever because he was designing a house
0:05:19 > 0:05:24that had to fit in a very small space between two other houses.
0:05:24 > 0:05:29Another thing he had to think about was what the house would look like,
0:05:29 > 0:05:32because it had to fit in with the other old houses on the street.
0:05:32 > 0:05:36And here's a photo of Grandad Martin holding Daddy Mark
0:05:36 > 0:05:38when he was a baby.

0:06:42 > 0:06:45Boys, boys, come over here, come over here.
0:06:45 > 0:06:47This is the House for an Art Lover.
0:06:47 > 0:06:51And it's a really special place to your mum and dad
0:06:51 > 0:06:53because this is where we got married.
0:06:53 > 0:06:58Now, this house was designed by a famous Scottish architect
0:06:58 > 0:07:01called Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
0:07:01 > 0:07:03And he loved nature and used to go for walks
0:07:03 > 0:07:06and draw all the things that he saw.
0:07:06 > 0:07:10He started to use these things in his buildings,
0:07:10 > 0:07:13things like birds and flowers and seeds.
0:07:13 > 0:07:16And I thought maybe we could have a look around

0:07:56 > 0:07:59He designed houses and also schools.
0:07:59 > 0:08:03He really liked to use colours like pink, purple, white and black.
0:08:03 > 0:08:08Look at all the tables and chairs and lights he's created too.
0:08:22 > 0:08:24Look at the beautiful red roses.

0:10:09 > 0:10:10What colour was it going to be?
0:10:10 > 0:10:14And even where do the stairs go and where do people's cars go?
0:10:17 > 0:10:21- Look, there's a cone on his head. - Oh, my goodness!
0:10:25 > 0:10:29A long, long time ago, people used to live in small houses like this.

0:11:48 > 0:11:51It is, it is a bit like waves. Why do you think that is?
