0:03:36 > 0:03:40because I saw a demonstration at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
0:03:40 > 0:03:44I'd been looking for a different sport cos I tried basketball,
0:03:44 > 0:03:48I tried table tennis and none of them really took my fancy
0:03:48 > 0:03:52and then I saw wheelchair tennis and it was brilliant!
0:03:53 > 0:03:57Daddy Peter is very good at wheelchair tennis.
0:03:57 > 0:04:01He's played in many tournaments all around the world.
0:04:05 > 0:04:07He's won lots of gold medals.
0:04:07 > 0:04:11Some of these gold medals were from the Paralympic Games.
0:04:11 > 0:04:15This is a big competition for people with all kinds of disabilities,
0:04:15 > 0:04:20including lots of competitors who play their sport in wheelchairs.

0:04:34 > 0:04:37Do you know, when I was first in a wheelchair,
0:04:37 > 0:04:41I had a really heavy chair and I could barely push it.
0:04:41 > 0:04:44I could just about lift it and get it into my car.
0:04:44 > 0:04:49But now we have really fast, lightweight chairs, like this one,
0:04:49 > 0:04:52and this is the one I play tennis in.
0:04:52 > 0:04:56We could go and play tennis and I can play tennis

0:05:13 > 0:05:16So there are lots of different types of wheelchairs.

0:05:19 > 0:05:22There are basketball wheelchairs
0:05:22 > 0:05:25and then there are racing bikes, hand bikes.
0:05:27 > 0:05:31And here, this is where we fix wheelchairs as well.

0:05:34 > 0:05:37we can take it into the workshop and we fix it.
