0:00:28 > 0:00:31Millions of people have had to flee their homes and live

0:00:31 > 0:00:34in refugee camps in nearby countries.

0:00:34 > 0:00:34But life there can be tough too.

0:00:36 > 0:00:38Many children have had to find ways to help themselves

0:00:38 > 0:00:41and their families.

0:00:42 > 0:00:46Meet eight-year-old Batul and ten-year-old Mohammed.

0:00:46 > 0:00:49TRANSLATION: We saw that our parents were in need of some money

0:00:49 > 0:00:51so we began to work like all our friends.

0:00:51 > 0:00:54We have to walk a lot every day but we earn good money.

0:00:54 > 0:00:57We work for about four hours a day.

0:00:57 > 0:01:00They used to live in Syria, but when the Civil War broke out

0:01:00 > 0:01:03there five years ago, they couldn't stay any longer

0:01:03 > 0:01:05so they left with their family.

0:01:05 > 0:01:10They are now in nearby Lebanon living in this camp.

0:01:10 > 0:01:13In Lebanon, everything is expensive and families are struggling to live.

0:01:13 > 0:01:15They are struggling to get the basics.

0:01:15 > 0:01:19They are struggling to get the food and that's why most of them

0:01:19 > 0:01:22are having no choice but to send their children to work.

0:01:22 > 0:01:25Every child has a right to an education.

0:01:25 > 0:01:29But for children in camps around Syria, it's not always possible.

0:01:29 > 0:01:32Their father has a disability and their mother needs to take care

0:01:32 > 0:01:34of their baby brother.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37So Batul and Mohammed go out to work.

0:01:37 > 0:01:40They earn about two pounds a day selling chocolate bars.

0:01:40 > 0:01:44This is enough to buy the things that they need like milk and bread

0:01:44 > 0:01:47and their father's medicines.

0:01:47 > 0:01:49TRANSLATION: If I hadn't been working, I would have loved

0:01:49 > 0:01:54being in school but I want to have my father.

0:01:54 > 0:01:57being in school but I want to help my father.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01Batul goes to school from time to time but Mohammed had

0:02:01 > 0:02:02to drop out.

0:02:02 > 0:02:05It would cost ?3.50 a month for both of them to travel to school,

0:03:20 > 0:03:26It's called Bigelow Expandable Activity Module or Beam.

0:03:26 > 0:03:31Designed by NASA and Bigelow Aerospace, it launches into space

0:03:32 > 0:03:38It will be attached to the International Space Station.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41Made of aluminium and soft fabric, it's lightweight and takes up

0:03:41 > 0:03:45minimal space on a rocket.

0:03:48 > 0:03:52and NASA thinks this technology could help create homes on Mars
