:01:58. > :02:01.And it's all because their tusks are made of ivory.

:02:02. > :02:07.Thousands of shops across China sell ornaments like this,

:02:08. > :02:10.which are made out of ivory. It's big business here, and

:02:11. > :02:14.the items are worth a lot of money. Ivory comes from the tusks

:02:15. > :02:17.of elephants, and in Africa, many of the animals are illegally

:02:18. > :02:25.Pressure has been put on China for years to end its part

:02:26. > :02:30.And today, almost half the factories and shops that sell ivory in China

:02:31. > :02:38.And the rest will be closed by the end of the year.

:02:39. > :02:43.China is the country with the world's largest ivory market.

:02:44. > :02:46.That's where we see the greatest demand.

:02:47. > :02:49.So this change is going make a real difference for African elephants,

:02:50. > :02:52.because if we can reduce that demand, all law abiding citizens

:02:53. > :02:59.This move won't totally end the problem, as lots of ivory

:03:00. > :03:02.is bought and sold illegally, which is much harder to stop.

:03:03. > :03:05.But conservationists are glad that China is closing its ivory shops,

:03:06. > :03:09.and hopes it will mean less is bought and sold in the country,

:03:10. > :03:15.saving the lives of thousands of elephants.

:04:43. > :04:45.Instead, a recording of their final performance will be available

:04:46. > :04:55.Then whoever wins the public vote will head into the studio to work

:04:56. > :05:00.with top producers and release an album a few weeks later.

:05:01. > :05:03.Next to Hong Kong, in Asia, where the 7th International Pillow

:05:04. > :05:05.Fight has been held. People got stuck in,

:05:06. > :05:09.and it seems this minion got rather a lot of attention!

:05:10. > :05:11.The event is held in different cities every year,

:05:12. > :05:14.and the organisers say it's a good way to let off steam and bring

:05:15. > :05:20.And finally, keep your eyes peeled today because you might notice

:05:21. > :05:28.some strange stories, like this one.

:05:29. > :05:36.The past winter, one of the mildest in living memory, has had its effect

:05:37. > :05:39.in other ways as well. Most important of all, it has resulted in

:05:40. > :05:41.an exceptionally heavy spaghetti crop.

:05:42. > :05:43.Back in the 1950s, the BBC ran this story

:05:44. > :05:46.about spaghetti growing on trees - but it was completely made up!

:05:47. > :05:48.It was all a big hoax for April Fool's Day,
