0:00:24 > 0:00:27But it's not for our health - it's to help the environment.

0:00:27 > 0:00:29It's claimed forests are being cut down to make space

0:00:29 > 0:00:33for farm animals to graze and to grow crops to feed them.

0:00:33 > 0:00:37This deforestation raises levels of carbon in the atmosphere,

0:00:37 > 0:00:41but also, burps from the animals add methane gas, too.

0:00:41 > 0:00:44These gases are speeding up the rate the planet's climate is

0:00:44 > 0:00:48changing, says the report in the Nature Climate Change journal.

0:00:48 > 0:00:52Footy fans will be glued to tablets, smart phones and TV screens today

0:00:52 > 0:00:55because it's transfer deadline day, the last chance managers have to

0:00:55 > 0:00:59try and secure the signings they need for the rest of the season.

0:00:59 > 0:01:02And here's the big name being talked about this morning -

0:01:02 > 0:01:04Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

0:01:04 > 0:01:08He's been offered to Arsenal, Man City and United, too.

0:01:08 > 0:01:14But with a price tag of ?35 MILLION, who will want to splash that cash?

0:01:14 > 0:01:20Next, one of 30 gold bars buried on a beach in Kent has been found.

0:01:20 > 0:01:23Kevin and his partner Kirsty discovered it after just one hour

0:01:23 > 0:01:23of digging.

0:01:23 > 0:01:26It might look small, but it is estimated to be worth ?500.

0:01:26 > 0:01:28Artist Michael Sailstorfer has buried ?10,000 worth of gold

0:01:28 > 0:01:30as part of an arts festival.

0:01:30 > 0:01:32Hundreds of people have flocked to the beach in Folkestone

0:01:32 > 0:01:34for a chance to find treasure.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37Here's Kirsty and Kevin talking about the moment they struck gold.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39I just came across it, really.

0:01:39 > 0:01:41I lifted the spade up and it was there.

0:01:41 > 0:01:42I wasn't expecting to see it.

0:01:42 > 0:01:44I ran over to Kirsty and showed her.

0:01:44 > 0:01:48I was shaking a little bit because I was quite nervous about finding it,

0:01:48 > 0:01:51but just really happy.

0:01:51 > 0:01:55Next up, extraordinary new footage has been released

0:01:55 > 0:01:58by the US space agency NASA showing a series of powerful solar flares.

0:01:58 > 0:02:00There have been a number of eruptions on the surface

0:02:00 > 0:02:02of the sun in the last week.

0:02:02 > 0:02:05Solar flares can cause disruption to satellites and scientists will be

0:02:05 > 0:02:10keeping a close eye on the activity.

0:02:10 > 0:02:12Next to Cambridge, where some tourists enjoying the sights

0:02:12 > 0:02:15from the River Cam have come face to face with a rather naughty swan.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18The feathered menace is called Asboy and he's been pictured attacking

0:02:18 > 0:02:19anything in his path.

0:02:19 > 0:02:22But he's not the first swan to leave his mark on the river.

0:02:22 > 0:02:24We sent our bravest reporter, Ricky, to investigate.

0:02:26 > 0:02:29Swans, what delicate creatures.

0:02:29 > 0:02:33Sailing through these tranquil waters without a care in the world.

0:02:33 > 0:02:36They are quite simply majestic, elegant and...pretty

0:02:36 > 0:02:42bad tempered.

0:02:42 > 0:02:45At least this chap is.

0:02:45 > 0:02:47Meet Asboy the swan.

0:02:47 > 0:02:49He's been caught on camera causing terror

0:02:49 > 0:02:52on the River Cam in Cambridge.

0:02:52 > 0:02:56Reports from eyewitnesses say they've seen this swan pecking

0:02:56 > 0:02:58at people on punts, attacking canoeists and even flying

0:02:58 > 0:03:06directly into visiting families.

0:03:06 > 0:03:08Have any of you seen Asboy the swan?

0:03:08 > 0:03:08Sorry.

0:03:08 > 0:03:10Have you heard about him?

0:03:10 > 0:03:11I'd rather not say.

0:03:11 > 0:03:11Where was it?

0:03:11 > 0:03:12Over there.

0:03:12 > 0:03:15Can I ask you if you've seen the swan?

0:03:15 > 0:03:19It could be watching us right now.

0:03:19 > 0:03:23I've not encountered the bird in question just yet,

0:03:23 > 0:03:26but with the help of Jed Ramsey, who manages the river here, we're

0:03:26 > 0:03:30going to try and track him down.

0:03:30 > 0:03:32Have you seen Asboy the swan?

0:03:32 > 0:03:34That way.

0:03:34 > 0:03:36This swan seems to be OK.

0:03:36 > 0:03:38Are you Asboy?

0:03:38 > 0:03:42He's coming closer, though.

0:03:42 > 0:03:45I think it might be a bit of a myth, we've not been able to track

0:03:45 > 0:03:48down a particular swan who is causing a problem.

0:03:48 > 0:03:50You think it might be a couple of swans?

0:03:50 > 0:03:50I think so.

0:03:50 > 0:03:53Through the summer swans can get protective

0:03:53 > 0:03:56of their nests or their young.

0:03:56 > 0:04:01We had one particularly crazy swan a couple of years ago who we've moved.

0:04:01 > 0:04:06We can usually find them, but we haven't tracked this one.

0:04:06 > 0:04:08Did he try to nibble at your boat?

0:04:08 > 0:04:09Yeah.

0:04:09 > 0:04:12Nibbling the boat or trying to eat bread?

0:04:12 > 0:04:16We can't be sure this is the bird in question.

0:04:16 > 0:04:19Luckily we haven't come across Asboy the swan today - he's out there

0:04:19 > 0:04:22somewhere, but we don't know where.

0:04:22 > 0:04:25So the people of Cambridge are safe for now.

0:04:25 > 0:04:27Hang on a minute, he's behind you!

0:04:27 > 0:04:27Look!

0:04:42 > 0:04:43on the website what you think.

0:04:57 > 0:05:00That's all from me, Newsround's back right here in about half an hour.
