:01:27. > :01:29.switching to hammer. Why did you do that?
:01:30. > :01:34.I used to do a bit of ballet and I think it helped me get to where I am
:01:35. > :01:40.today. I did other sports at school like hockey and netball and
:01:41. > :01:45.transitioned into athletics because of my parents.
:01:46. > :01:49.How does ballet and your background in that help you with hammer
:01:50. > :02:00.throwing? Balance and posture. You learn them
:02:01. > :02:05.from a young age so that helps. What about the future? I know you're
:02:06. > :02:11.grounded is your biggest fan. He is. You will probably be watching
:02:12. > :02:18.at home. Tell me about Tokyo.
:02:19. > :02:21.We get back into training then we have the World Championships in
:02:22. > :02:25.London next year and then onwards to Tokyo.

:02:28. > :02:29.Robot Wars reached its epic conclusion on Sunday night.
:02:30. > :02:32.40 robots entered the competition and, after six weeks of battles,
:02:33. > :02:37.We went to find out what makes a winner.
:02:38. > :02:45.This is Apollo and we are the champions of Robot Wars.
:02:46. > :02:49.There is no perfect combination or design to win Robot Wars
:02:50. > :02:54.but there are four main key features when building a robot.
:02:55. > :02:57.There is no point going into the arena if you haven't
:02:58. > :02:59.got a weapon because you're not going to do anything
:03:00. > :03:02.You're going to be fighting flippers, spinners,
:03:03. > :03:06.We said, right, were going to have the most powerful flipper
:03:07. > :03:09.there is and build the rest of the robot around that.
:03:10. > :03:12.It is really important to make sure the armour is
:03:13. > :03:15.strong and everything is safe and secure for all the more
:03:16. > :03:20.In fact, one of the robots that we saw in Robot Wars was
:03:21. > :03:25.In fact, it smashed all over the arena.
:03:26. > :03:28.Apollo is one of the bigger robots in the competition.
:03:29. > :03:31.It makes it hard for other robots to grab hold of it
:03:32. > :03:35.and push us around the arena so we can keep control of the fights.
:03:36. > :03:38.No matter how big your weapons were, how strong your armour is or
:03:39. > :03:42.how heavy your robot is, the most important thing for us was to have
:03:43. > :03:48.We then work out what the best our robot could do
:03:49. > :03:52.The tactic was to hit them straight on, headfirst, and
:03:53. > :03:57.It is a massive achievement for us to win Robot Wars and Apollo,
:03:58. > :04:07.Onto footy and record amount has been spent by British
:04:08. > :04:09.football clubs this summer - over one BILLION quid!
:04:10. > :04:12.Last night the transfer window closed with the big last-minute
:04:13. > :04:15.moves being David Luiz coming back to Chelsea after they sold him to
:04:16. > :04:20.Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has moved
