:00:12. > :00:14.Morning guys, I'm Ricky and this is your Friday Newsround.

:00:15. > :00:17.First up, it's the end of the summer holidays.

:00:18. > :00:20.Some of you will already be back at school, some of you will be

:00:21. > :00:25.But there's one thing that many of you may have encountered

:00:26. > :00:27.The back to school uniform photograph.

:00:28. > :00:40.Some of your parents just love to take that photo on your first day

:00:41. > :00:43.back and many share it on their social media.

:00:44. > :00:46.We went to a school in Scotland to find out just what some parents

:00:47. > :00:50.are up to and what you really think about it.

:00:51. > :00:53.My mum posted a picture on Facebook of me in my school uniform

:00:54. > :00:58.on the first day of school and I didn't mind that

:00:59. > :01:01.because I think it shows that she's proud of me.

:01:02. > :01:07.I know my mum's account is private, but I still worry about it

:01:08. > :01:09.because I don't know who her friends are.

:01:10. > :01:11.My mum and dad care about their privacy,

:01:12. > :01:13.about the privacy of us, so they don't really post

:01:14. > :01:15.pictures of me and my little brother on Facebook,

:01:16. > :01:21.My parents don't post pictures, but my auntie does and I don't

:01:22. > :01:23.like it cos I don't know who her friends are.

:01:24. > :01:27.So some parents do post this photo, some don't.

:01:28. > :01:30.But the big question is, should they have to ask your permission?

:01:31. > :01:32.I think they do have to ask for our permission

:01:33. > :01:36.because if they put a picture on that you don't like,

:01:37. > :01:38.then it's not really fair on you that you've got a picture

:01:39. > :01:43.I think on a safety aspect if there's other

:01:44. > :01:46.children in the picture, their parents should be notified

:01:47. > :01:52.before the children get tagged in it.

:01:53. > :01:55.If it's a good picture, they can just post without asking.

:01:56. > :01:59.I don't think they need to ask permission because it's your parents

:02:00. > :02:04.and they're the boss of you, so they can do what they want.

:02:05. > :02:07.I do think they should ask at times if it's, like,

:02:08. > :02:11.So there's mixed opinions about this, but what advice

:02:12. > :02:14.would you give to parents who want to take and share

:02:15. > :02:20.Make sure you ask your child before you post a photo on social media.

:02:21. > :02:22.I think you should ask a kid's permission before

:02:23. > :02:27.All parents should let their children choose the picture

:02:28. > :02:34.Let me see the picture before you post it.

:02:35. > :02:37.Make sure you think about your privacy settings before you post.

:02:38. > :02:41.Think about how you would feel if your parents did it to you.

:02:42. > :02:44.You know us well enough to know you should ask.

:02:45. > :02:46.And we want to hear from you on this one.

:02:47. > :02:49.How do you feel about your parents sharing that first day

:02:50. > :02:52.Maybe you love it, maybe you hate it!

:02:53. > :03:01.Next up, a little question for you - who won The X Factor last year?

:03:02. > :03:04.It was Matt Terry - how soon we forget!

:03:05. > :03:07.So what changes can we expect to the new series when it

:03:08. > :03:19.The favourites are back for 2017 - Sharon, Louis, Nicole and Simon.

:03:20. > :03:23.BGT's Alesha Dixon is said to make a couple of appearances as a guest

:03:24. > :03:29.Acts will perform more original songs and joke acts

:03:30. > :03:35.Live weekend shows are cut from ten to six.

:03:36. > :03:38.Acts will be voted off on both Saturdays and Sundays.

:03:39. > :03:41.Simon Cowell has said that the jukebox feature

:03:42. > :03:47.is gone and the six-chair challenge has returned.

:03:48. > :03:50.The X Factor finale has moved so that it will not

:03:51. > :03:52.clash with Strictly, but the rest of the shows

:03:53. > :03:58.We'll find out in the coming months which changes creator

:03:59. > :04:11.In Houston, Texas, people are still dealing with the huge

:04:12. > :04:15.As well as people, pets need help, too, and Newsround has been to see

:04:16. > :04:18.what's being done to help animals who've lost their homes or been

:04:19. > :04:25.Hey, it's not just people sheltering here at the convention centre,

:04:26. > :04:27.it's their four-legged friends as well.

:04:28. > :04:34.He is a dog in Houston who tried to ride out

:04:35. > :04:39.But then on Monday the water started to come all the way into his house

:04:40. > :04:43.His friend Doctor Kitty right here at the convention centre

:04:44. > :04:45.has a picture of him in the local paper escaping.

:04:46. > :04:48.When dogs like Skip come here, what sort of services do they get?

:04:49. > :04:51.They get the same care that their owners get,

:04:52. > :04:52.food, water, shelter, medical care, vaccines

:04:53. > :05:01.They are allowed to stay with their owners.

:05:02. > :05:03.We give them crates and leashes so they are not taken

:05:04. > :05:05.away from their owners when they get here.

:05:06. > :05:09.We have people come and help them be walked.

:05:10. > :05:11.Make sure they are getting fed, all that stuff.

:05:12. > :05:15.One of the interesting things I have read is there is now a priority

:05:16. > :05:18.placed on getting pets out of these disaster zones with their owners.

:05:19. > :05:22.It has been amazing to see the efforts placed on getting

:05:23. > :05:25.animals out with their people and we know that we have saved

:05:26. > :05:27.probably countless lives, not just the animals but the people.

:05:28. > :05:30.Because for many of these people here this is their only family.

:05:31. > :05:34.Their four-legged friends are there only family and they are not going

:05:35. > :05:37.to abandon them. We have saved hundreds of people's lives as well

:05:38. > :05:42.as animals and made sure they are led to come with them and stay with

:05:43. > :05:46.them. We talked to his owner and they are going to try to go back

:05:47. > :05:48.tomorrow. In the meantime he is happy to be here in a warm place to

:05:49. > :06:05.stay and a meal treats. # Dibby, dibby, dibby, dibby,
