:00:00. > :00:07.Hi, guys - Ayshah here with news of the kids getting coding advice from

:00:08. > :00:19.Mr Moshi. Plus... Hello, Newsround, from the

:00:20. > :00:22.red carpet at the Oscars. But first, Ukraine's stand-in

:00:23. > :00:26.president has warned the country is "on the verge of disaster" as he

:00:27. > :00:29.orders troops to get ready to defend against the Russian army. He has

:00:30. > :00:31.asked America and Britain for help following Russian President Vladimir

:00:32. > :00:35.Putin's decision to send his troops over the border into Crimea in the

:00:36. > :00:39.south of Ukraine. That despite a phone call from Barack Obama warning

:00:40. > :00:42.him not to. Obama says that goes against international law, but Putin

:00:43. > :00:47.insists Russia has a right to defend Russians living there. NATO - a

:00:48. > :00:50.group of western countries - is holding an emergency meeting right

:00:51. > :00:55.now and says Russia's actions are unacceptable.

:00:56. > :00:58.Next - football manager Alan Pardew has been heavily criticised for the

:00:59. > :01:01.example he has set to players and young fans after appearing to

:01:02. > :01:05.head-butt an opposition player during a match. Pardew says he is

:01:06. > :01:09.really sorry about the incident, which happened during Newcastle's

:01:10. > :01:15.game with Hull yesterday. The club has fined him ?100,000 and the FA

:01:16. > :01:22.are investigating. This was the reaction from the Match of the Day

:01:23. > :01:29.pundits. Have you ever seen anything like that from a coach or manager?

:01:30. > :01:32.That is inexcusable. There is outrage, and understandably. I think

:01:33. > :01:40.it is terribly sad to see those pictures, for the game, for kids

:01:41. > :01:43.watching the programme. As a player, if you see your manager

:01:44. > :01:46.doing that, how can he discipline you?

:01:47. > :01:50.Next up - we've told you before about government plans to make

:01:51. > :01:53.computer coding a bigger part of school lessons. But now the founder

:01:54. > :01:56.of Moshi Monsters has backed a special scheme to get kids more

:01:57. > :02:04.excited about it. Budding reporters from the BBC's School Report went to

:02:05. > :02:08.meet him to find out more. Have you ever thought about what is

:02:09. > :02:16.behind the latest application you have downloaded? Today, we have come

:02:17. > :02:22.to see the company who have created one of the biggest games, Moshi

:02:23. > :02:28.Monsters. What is the code and what is it about? It is a scheme to get

:02:29. > :02:34.people interested in coding it is an interesting skill and one of the

:02:35. > :02:38.most important. Everything involves computer technology, will this code

:02:39. > :02:46.help kids get jobs? Not just to get jobs, I hope some of the kids will

:02:47. > :02:51.start being operators. I speak to kids with amazing ideas. If you have

:02:52. > :02:58.the ability, you can take those ideas and make them happen. Young

:02:59. > :03:07.students got a personal taster of the code with Mr Moshi himself. You

:03:08. > :03:11.guys are really good. Some people think this is really complex and

:03:12. > :03:17.that it is for expert, but if you take the first step, it becomes much

:03:18. > :03:22.easier. Coding was really enjoyable because I learned that it does not

:03:23. > :03:27.have to be boring and just something that computer geeks do. The best bit

:03:28. > :03:43.was that he inspired us to do coding. And he loves to play free

:03:44. > :03:46.games! The first -- the first cup final of the season kicks off. But

:03:47. > :03:52.it is not the only event this weekend. The world's biggest movie

:03:53. > :03:55.awards - the Oscars - take place in Los Angeles tonight and the BBC's

:03:56. > :03:59.Colin Patterson been behind the scenes to give you a sneak peak.

:04:00. > :04:05.Watch out for the flashes. Hello, Newsround, from the red

:04:06. > :04:09.carpet at the Oscars. This is where the biggest Newby -- movie stars in

:04:10. > :04:20.the world will be watching. Nominees like Sandra Bullock and lay in order

:04:21. > :04:27.to background -- Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jennifer Lawrence. Also singers,

:04:28. > :04:36.like Pink. I will take you backstage, to show that -- where

:04:37. > :04:43.they come in. This is the red carpet. It is 150 metres long. At

:04:44. > :04:48.the moment, it is raining so you see there is tarpaulin covering it.

:04:49. > :04:52.There is even a roof. At the moment, there are lots of TV crews filming

:04:53. > :05:00.for their morning shows. Where you from? Toronto. In Canada. Say hello

:05:01. > :05:07.to newsround. Hello, Newsround. Lots and lots of newsround 's -- lots and

:05:08. > :05:13.lots of news crews. And here's where the actual show takes place. Those

:05:14. > :05:19.pillars host the names of previous films which have won Oscars. And

:05:20. > :05:25.after a final farewell to the press, they go in and find out if they are

:05:26. > :05:31.Oscar winners. Tune in to newsround on Monday to find out who won Best

:05:32. > :05:35.picture, who won Best animation, who is holding those gold men in their

:05:36. > :05:38.hands. Goodbye from Hollywood! We've been asking you for your

:05:39. > :05:56.favourite film of the year over on the Newsround website.
