0:00:12 > 0:00:13Hi, guys.

0:00:13 > 0:00:14It's Newsround on CBBC.

0:00:14 > 0:00:17I'm Leah.

0:00:17 > 0:00:20First up, British tennis number one Johanna Konta says she wants to get

0:00:20 > 0:00:21to world number one.

0:00:21 > 0:00:24It's after she won the biggest match of her career,

0:00:24 > 0:00:25winning the Miami Open.

0:00:25 > 0:00:28She beat former world number one Caroline Wozniaki.

0:00:28 > 0:00:30It'll lift Konta up to seventh in the world,

0:00:30 > 0:00:35her highest-ever ranking.

0:00:35 > 0:00:35It is an incredible accomplishment, not just for myself,

0:00:37 > 0:00:40but also for my team and my family back home.

0:00:40 > 0:00:43It is always nice to get these sorts of, I guess,

0:00:43 > 0:00:47moments in your career where it gets...

0:00:47 > 0:00:51What's the word?

0:00:51 > 0:00:54A bit of a pat on the back for the hard work that

0:00:54 > 0:00:55you are putting in, continuously putting in.

0:00:55 > 0:01:02It motivates you more to keep working hard and keep enjoying it.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05Let's have a round up of some of the day's

0:01:05 > 0:01:07other sport stories.

0:01:07 > 0:01:09The big football match is Arsenal taking on

0:01:09 > 0:01:10Manchester City this afternoon.

0:01:10 > 0:01:13Manchester City have only won once in the last 19 times they've

0:01:13 > 0:01:15visited the Gunners.

0:01:15 > 0:01:17Yesterday, there was a surprise defeat for Premier League leaders

0:01:17 > 0:01:20Chelsea - they lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace,

0:01:20 > 0:01:26despite scoring first.

0:01:26 > 0:01:29Zaha equalled things up for Crystal Palace,

0:01:29 > 0:01:32then Christian Benteke scored the winner to take all three points.

0:01:32 > 0:01:35And the University Boat Race, one of the UK's oldest sporting events,

0:01:35 > 0:01:38will go ahead after police removed an unexploded bomb from

0:01:38 > 0:01:42World War Two that was found in the River Thames.

0:01:42 > 0:01:44It's the 163rd time the annual rowing race between Oxford

0:01:44 > 0:01:49and Cambridge has taken place.

0:01:49 > 0:01:53Next to South America where rescue teams are trying to help people

0:01:53 > 0:01:56in the country of Colombia after big mudslides there.

0:01:56 > 0:01:59Heavy rain flooded towns and villages in the country's

0:01:59 > 0:02:01south-west, with mud and rocks forcing residents

0:02:01 > 0:02:03to flee their homes.

0:02:03 > 0:02:07Sadly, some people have died.

0:02:07 > 0:02:10We all know his drawings so well from books by authors

0:02:10 > 0:02:13like Roald Dahl, David Walliams and Michael Rosen.

0:02:13 > 0:02:16And now illustrator Quentin Blake is letting people find out more

0:02:16 > 0:02:19about his best-loved creations in a new exhibition

0:02:19 > 0:02:22in West Yorkshire.

0:02:22 > 0:02:28Technology's moved on since he first started drawing

0:02:28 > 0:02:29but most of the time, he still just

0:02:29 > 0:02:32uses a pen and paper, and it comes pretty naturally.

0:02:32 > 0:02:34I just feel I am doing it and that's...

0:02:34 > 0:02:36It comes like that.

0:02:36 > 0:02:38And then you are also very conscious of...

0:02:38 > 0:02:42I like scratchy nibs, I like things where you can feel

0:02:42 > 0:02:52the marks on the paper, so you are getting that as well.

0:02:53 > 0:02:57These guys are the last three acts in the final of The Voice tonight.

0:02:57 > 0:03:00Michelle was the first act voted off, despite singing a duet

0:03:00 > 0:03:01with mentor will.i.am.

0:03:01 > 0:03:03Jamie, Into the Ark, and Mo will battle it

0:03:03 > 0:03:05out to be crowned this year's champion tonight.

0:03:05 > 0:03:08Next, it's time to meet a music lover called Ruweyda.

0:03:08 > 0:03:09Even though she is seven, Ruweyda only recently

0:03:09 > 0:03:11said her first words at school.

0:03:11 > 0:03:12Martin's got this.

0:03:12 > 0:03:13Meet Ruweyda.

0:03:13 > 0:03:16She is seven years old and has something called selective mutism

0:03:16 > 0:03:18which is a very strong type of anxiety that

0:03:18 > 0:03:22means she cannot speak in certain situations.

0:03:22 > 0:03:26Until recently, Ruweyda did not say a word at school.

0:03:26 > 0:03:28That is until she started taking some special music classes.

0:03:28 > 0:03:30# Twinkle, twinkle, little star

0:03:30 > 0:03:37# How I wonder...#

0:03:37 > 0:03:39I guess Ruweyda presented quite typically as a child

0:03:39 > 0:03:40with selective mutism.

0:03:40 > 0:03:41Very quiet within school.

0:03:41 > 0:03:43Not speaking within school at all.

0:03:43 > 0:03:47And then she came to music therapy and she was very shy

0:03:47 > 0:03:50in the first session, took a little while to warm up,

0:03:50 > 0:03:54but then, actually, responded really well, really quickly.

0:03:54 > 0:03:56I think it was after the second session when she

0:03:56 > 0:04:00spoke her first word.

0:04:00 > 0:04:03Some of the kids actually came in and said, "Ruweyda's speaking!

0:04:03 > 0:04:04We thought she couldn't speak."

0:04:04 > 0:04:06She can speak, she is just shy.

0:04:06 > 0:04:10Do you enjoy school more now?

0:04:10 > 0:04:11Yes.

0:04:11 > 0:04:12Great.

0:04:12 > 0:04:14Why?

0:04:14 > 0:04:17Because I have friends.

0:04:17 > 0:04:20Around 1% of children are thought to have selective mutism,

0:04:20 > 0:04:24like Ruweyda, but there is not a lot of research into how

0:04:24 > 0:04:28to help people with it, so people like Ruweyda's music

0:04:28 > 0:04:34teacher are working hard to try different ways to help.

0:04:34 > 0:04:37Now, there's just time left for a robot coffee machine,

0:04:37 > 0:04:39some rare tigers, and the craziest ski jump you've ever seen.

0:04:39 > 0:04:41Here's Strange.

0:04:41 > 0:04:45First up, tigers in Thailand.

0:04:45 > 0:04:48These Indochinese tigers are really rare and no one expected to find

0:04:48 > 0:04:55them in a national park in eastern Thailand.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58A small group, with at least six cubs, have made it their home.

0:04:58 > 0:05:01We can see them because of special cameras hidden in the jungle.

0:05:01 > 0:05:02Pretty cool, hey?

0:05:02 > 0:05:05Next to a robot in America.

0:05:05 > 0:05:09Would you like to be served drinks and snacks like this?

0:05:09 > 0:05:12A new shop has opened in a shopping mall in San Francisco.

0:05:12 > 0:05:18Instead of telling a person your drinks order or getting snacks

0:05:18 > 0:05:20from a vending machine, a robot barista, or coffee bot,

0:05:20 > 0:05:21does everything for you.

0:05:21 > 0:05:22Sweet.

0:05:22 > 0:05:24I will take a hot chocolate, please.

0:05:24 > 0:05:25Oh, OK.

0:05:25 > 0:05:29It doesn't deliver.

0:05:29 > 0:05:34Coming up is 18-year-old Swiss skier Andre.

0:05:34 > 0:05:36He completed this crazy stunt, the first-ever

0:05:36 > 0:05:38quard cork 1,800 trick.

0:05:38 > 0:05:40What does that even mean?!

0:05:40 > 0:05:43Well, check it out.

0:05:43 > 0:05:46He spun around five times and backflipped four times over

0:05:46 > 0:05:48a 35-metre ski jump in Italy.

0:05:48 > 0:05:51Wow, let's see that again.

0:05:55 > 0:05:57That's all from me.

0:05:57 > 0:05:58Newsround's back at 7.40am tomorrow morning.
