:00:23. > :00:27.Hi there. I'm Nel. And I'm Joe. And you're with us for nine minutes
:00:27. > :00:36.stuffed with newsy goodness. What girls and boys think about PE
:00:36. > :00:39.lessons? And remember Dirk the stolen penguin? We've got an update.
:00:39. > :00:41.But first, the papers should have been celebrating the fact that
:00:41. > :00:45.England have finally got a new football manager. Instead, The Sun
:00:45. > :00:48.is coming in for some serious criticism because of this. The
:00:48. > :00:53.headline on today's paper next to a picture of the new England boss,
:00:53. > :01:03.Roy Hodgson. They're making fun of the way he pronounces his Rs. Lets
:01:03. > :01:04.
:01:04. > :01:07.have a listen to him. I will do my very best to make sure the team is
:01:07. > :01:10.as well prepared as possible for the task that lies ahead. I'm
:01:10. > :01:20.grateful for the chance to be the manager of England and I'm looking
:01:20. > :01:23.
:01:23. > :01:26.forward to it. It's not just The Sun. The Daily have also printed
:01:26. > :01:28.this cartoon about him. One of the UK's leading children's speech
:01:28. > :01:31.charities, I Can, have told Newsround. We know that children
:01:31. > :01:33.with communication difficulties are often at risk of bullying.
:01:33. > :01:36.Therefore it is disappointing to see that Roy Hodgson's speech has
:01:36. > :01:40.been singled out in the mainstream media for entertainment value. And
:01:40. > :01:43.big names in sport have been writing about it on Twitter.
:01:43. > :01:46.Everton captain Phil Neville has tweeted, have you seen the front
:01:46. > :01:49.page of The Sun this morning? Disgraceful journalism - what
:01:49. > :01:54.chance have we got! Jake Humphrey agrees, I think today's headline in
:01:54. > :01:59.The Sun is offensive. We asked The Sun for a comment, but they didn't
:01:59. > :02:01.want to talk to us. But we've just heard from the FA. They say they're
:02:01. > :02:04.not making an official complaint but say, we're disappointed with
:02:05. > :02:09.the headline in The Sun, which we consider is in poor taste and
:02:09. > :02:11.disrespectful. We're joined by Fiona Taylor. She's a speech and
:02:11. > :02:18.language therapist and helps children who have communication
:02:18. > :02:23.difficulties. What do you make of this headline? It's really
:02:23. > :02:28.disappointing about the way that someone says his sounds. They
:02:28. > :02:31.should be focusing on what he says, not how he says it. Will the fact
:02:31. > :02:38.that this is in the papers today mean that children with the same
:02:38. > :02:42.problem will be teased more too? would hope that doesn't happen but
:02:42. > :02:47.sometimes it does. The key thing is to tell children and young people
:02:47. > :02:52.to go to their parents and teachers, they can access support from a
:02:52. > :02:56.speech therapy services. The Sun say he's affectionately known as
:02:56. > :03:05."Woy" and that's why they did it, but does that make it OK to poke
:03:05. > :03:10.fun at him? I think that's really wrong. It has not stopped him, he's
:03:10. > :03:15.achieved a lot in his life. He's extremely successful man, he speaks
:03:15. > :03:20.five languages and is just got an amazing job. What would you say to
:03:20. > :03:23.some kids who might face bullying or get teased for this at school?
:03:23. > :03:27.Hang in there, you can get support in the right places and you can
:03:27. > :03:37.achieve success. He should be held up as a role model for children and
:03:37. > :03:45.
:03:45. > :03:49.young people to aspire to. Results show that year for boys and girls
:03:49. > :03:52.are doing similar amounts of exercise, but by the time they get
:03:52. > :04:02.to you nine, girls are doing far less sport, which can lead to
:04:02. > :04:04.
:04:04. > :04:09.When I was at school, PE was one of my favourite subject - basketball,
:04:09. > :04:13.tennis, football, you name it, I played it. I really enjoyed sports
:04:13. > :04:16.at school but that can't be said for a lot of you. A recent report
:04:17. > :04:22.said that more than half of girls out there don't enjoy exercise
:04:22. > :04:27.because of their experience at school. Nice one! Or it's going on
:04:27. > :04:33.then? One of the big reason is because some kids find PE lessons
:04:33. > :04:38.boring and old-fashioned. Sometimes you want to look nice and you don't
:04:38. > :04:44.want to run about and get sweaty. We love it but some girls don't
:04:44. > :04:50.like getting messy. They are mostly lazy and just want to keep nice and
:04:50. > :04:55.pretty. If I go running around and just going to get sweaty. You don't
:04:55. > :04:58.like that? No. This school is actually quite good, they are
:04:58. > :05:03.playing dodge ball, which is unusual, and they do street dance
:05:03. > :05:07.as well. It's these kind of non competitive sports that the report
:05:07. > :05:11.wants schools to introduce. I think it's a lot to do with image and
:05:11. > :05:16.peer pressure. I think it's really important that we encourage girls
:05:16. > :05:20.to get involved. It's more schools follow the lead of this one, it's
:05:20. > :05:25.hoped a lot more girls will carry on exercising after school to stay
:05:25. > :05:35.fit, healthy and active in later life. Moving on, and just two
:05:35. > :06:06.
:06:06. > :06:09.Fabrice Muamba will be back in a They're probably the biggest movie
:06:09. > :06:12.superhero team, but now they could also be the most successful. The
:06:12. > :06:16.Avengers have been smashing their way to the top of the UK box office
:06:16. > :06:20.- taking nearly 16 million in its first week. It's doing better the
:06:20. > :06:30.last Batman Film. We'll have to see if Gotham's finest gets his revenge
:06:30. > :06:32.
:06:32. > :06:35.this summer, when The Dark Knight Rises is released. This is the
:06:35. > :06:38.British Rally Championship, they are in full swing. Changes to the
:06:38. > :06:42.types of cars that can enter means there's even more transport speed
:06:42. > :06:48.demons to take part. Ricky has been to meet the Lewis Hamilton of the
:06:48. > :06:51.rally world. And also have a go himself.
:06:51. > :06:59.When you think of rising fast cars you'd be forgiven for picturing
:06:59. > :07:03.this. What you probably wouldn't imagine is this. But you won't find
:07:03. > :07:10.any peace and quiet here in this forest in Cumbria because Today
:07:10. > :07:12.these rally cars are taking over. It's the third stage of this year's
:07:12. > :07:18.British Rally Championship. Drivers from all over the world have come
:07:18. > :07:22.to do battle once again. It is 95 miles of forest terrain. That
:07:22. > :07:28.includes some mega hills, rocks to dodge and sharp corners - and that
:07:28. > :07:33.is all at speeds of up to 120 mph. Talk us through what it is like to
:07:33. > :07:38.be inside one of these cars? It's pretty exciting. Still question of
:07:38. > :07:43.yes, you are concentrating on the job. You find you are at your best
:07:43. > :07:47.when everything is happening. has the difference been between
:07:47. > :07:51.Formula One and rally driving? the Formula One you are on a
:07:51. > :07:55.racetrack, it's a controlled environment. With rally, you leave
:07:55. > :08:05.at the service area and you are by yourself. Just the driver and co-
:08:05. > :08:16.
:08:16. > :08:20.driver. That's enough talk, now That was absolutely unreal. I think
:08:20. > :08:30.I've caught the bug for this. I'm going to leave you guys to it. We
:08:30. > :08:33.
:08:33. > :08:36.are going to maybe do this again. Hold the phones, guys! We have Dirk
:08:36. > :08:39.the penguin news! The culprits who stole the little guy from his tank
:08:39. > :08:41.in Australia last month have been fined. The two British tourists
