:01:00. > :01:04.their skin colour could have a negative effect when it comes to

:01:05. > :01:09.So I went to discuss this with two talented and successful people who

:01:10. > :01:13.didn't let anything stand in the way of them achieving their ambitions -

:01:14. > :01:17.singer Alesha Dixon and former England footballer Sol Campbell.

:01:18. > :01:26.They say everyone should have the chance to succeed like they did.

:01:27. > :01:29.Alesha Dixon has made her mark, first in music, then as a judge

:01:30. > :01:36.Now you'll probably know her from Britain's Got talent

:01:37. > :01:41.And this is Sol Campbell, the former Tottenham,

:01:42. > :01:47.They're both from black backgrounds, both very well-known,

:01:48. > :01:51.and both say they worked hard to get where they are today.

:01:52. > :01:53.In our Newsround survey, two of the more popular job choices

:01:54. > :02:01.Black boys wanted to be footballers more than any other ethnic group.

:02:02. > :02:03.Sol Campbell says that there are loads of successful black

:02:04. > :02:08.footballers and in football your background doesn't come into it.

:02:09. > :02:11.If you're a black footballer growing up and you're aspiring to play

:02:12. > :02:18.for the first team of your club, the beautiful thing about sport is

:02:19. > :02:25.Alesha Dixon started her career in the music industry before becoming

:02:26. > :02:30.But being well known can have a down side,

:02:31. > :02:33.and Alesha feels she was treated unfairly by some people in the media

:02:34. > :02:44.I think being a woman of colour made me a very easy target.

:02:45. > :02:48.But I knew that staying true to who I am, knowing that I can do

:02:49. > :02:57.Alesha and Sol say things need to change.

:02:58. > :03:00.I want people to be sitting at home, looking at the TV

:03:01. > :03:08.I think it is very important to look at the United Kingdom as

:03:09. > :03:13.multicultural and make sure that across all forms of media that we

:03:14. > :03:16.are all represented. It is not fair. You want to feel like you are part

:03:17. > :03:21.of this country and sometimes people do not feel up. I think a mentality

:03:22. > :03:28.has to change. I think the more we talk about it in a positive way and

:03:29. > :03:31.honest way, I think people will start to slowly see and believe that

:03:32. > :03:37.it will change and it must change. Alesha and Sol say they want

:03:38. > :03:39.children from all backgrounds to feel confident they have role models

:03:40. > :03:42.to look up to and the opportunities Now to the biggest shock of

:03:43. > :03:47.Wimbledon so far - world number one The Spaniard was beaten by wildcard

:03:48. > :03:51.Nick Kyrgios from Australia. He played this, what's been

:03:52. > :03:55.described as "shot of the year," The teenager is ranked just 144th
