:00:51. > :00:52.Well, maybe they didn't reinvent the phone, but they certainly

:00:58. > :01:00.It helped to teach people to use things like touchscreens,

:01:01. > :01:04.and using mobile-phone cameras really got huge.

:01:05. > :01:08.So what will we be using in ten years' time?

:01:18. > :01:21.We won't be using smartphones or tablets or even smart glasses.

:01:22. > :01:25.We will all be wearing digital contact lenses.

:01:30. > :01:32.But also, we'll be living in a world of driverless cars,

:01:33. > :01:35.and many of those will also be flying in the air,

:01:39. > :01:41.Printers might not sound very interesting, but in the future

:01:42. > :01:46.we're going to have 3D food printers that will print and cook our food.

:01:47. > :01:51.They'll never get dirty, never need washing,

:01:52. > :01:54.and if you get a rip, that will repair itself.

:01:55. > :02:11.Last night's Doctor Who wasn't just the end of the series,

:02:12. > :02:14.it was also the end of Peter Capaldi's time as the 12th Doctor.

:02:15. > :02:16.With a huge cliffhanger like that, you've been telling us

:03:43. > :03:45.Her year has been a bit like Andy Murray's year -

:03:46. > :03:49.she hasn't had a great deal of success since becoming

:03:50. > :03:52.the world number one, but she was in the final in 2016

:03:53. > :03:58.here at Wimbledon, and she definitely has the game

:03:59. > :04:00.to become champion for the first time.

:04:01. > :04:02.Roger Federer is another name that lots of people

:04:03. > :04:06.He's won the Wimbledon title seven times.

:04:07. > :04:09.He's had a bit of a break recently, but that did him no harm

:04:10. > :04:12.at all at the Australian Open - he'd not been on court

:04:13. > :04:15.for six months before that, and he won the Australian Open

:04:16. > :04:22.There are high hopes of Britain's Johanna Konta -

:04:23. > :04:24.she's performed very, very well in the big tournaments

:04:25. > :04:27.in the last couple of years and will be the sixth seed

:04:28. > :04:33.She did have a nasty fall at Eastbourne and seemed

:04:34. > :04:40.to hit her head and back very, very hard on the grass,

:04:41. > :04:44.but as we saw with the way she played there,

:04:45. > :04:46.beating the world number one and the reigning French Open

:04:47. > :04:50.champion on the same day, she is definitely a contender.

:04:51. > :04:52.Rafa Nadal is the French Open champion -

:04:53. > :04:54.he won the title in Paris just three weeks ago.

:04:55. > :04:57.He has won Wimbledon twice in the past but historically

:04:58. > :04:58.has suffered knee problems here at Wimbledon.

:04:59. > :05:01.The ball bounces lower, and therefore Nadal's knees

:05:02. > :05:05.have to bend more to get down to the ball,

:05:06. > :05:17.Venus is now 37, a five-time Wimbledon champion, but she has been

:05:18. > :05:20.playing wonderfully well over past couple of years,

:05:21. > :05:33.and her chances are not to be entirely written off at all.

:05:34. > :05:39.Canada celebrated its 150th anniversary as a country yesterday.

:05:40. > :05:42.Loads of events took place to mark it, including this one in Winnipeg,

:05:43. > :05:45.where thousands of people made the largest living maple leaf,

:05:46. > :05:47.the country's emblem. That is pretty cool.
