0:03:51 > 0:03:53I'm 13 years old and I ride WCMX.
0:03:53 > 0:03:55WCMX stands for wheelchair motocross and it
0:03:55 > 0:03:58involves riding your wheelchair at a skate park.
0:03:58 > 0:04:01You ride your wheelchair like a BMXer would ride a BMX,
0:04:01 > 0:04:04or a skateboarder would ride a skateboard or a scooter
0:04:04 > 0:04:05would ride a scooter.
0:04:05 > 0:04:09I started riding in early March and we stayed on a few banks,
0:04:09 > 0:04:13which are basically like small hills going up and down.
0:04:13 > 0:04:20As my confidence increased, I started to try bigger ramps
0:04:20 > 0:04:22and I eventually did a small quarter pipe, like, 2ft.
0:04:22 > 0:04:24I felt so happy when I did that.
0:04:24 > 0:04:27Now looking back on that, I am like that is nothing
0:04:27 > 0:04:28to what I am doing now.
0:04:28 > 0:04:31The backflip wasn't really a target.
0:04:31 > 0:04:33We arrived at the skate park and I was like,
0:04:33 > 0:04:34I want to try a backflip.
0:04:34 > 0:04:38I practised into a foam pit first.
0:04:38 > 0:04:41It is a big ramp going up into a pit of foam, basically.
0:04:41 > 0:04:42It kind of describes itself.
0:04:42 > 0:04:52I moved onto a resi ramp which is a normal ramp.
0:04:52 > 0:04:54Once I landed it, I was really happy.
0:04:54 > 0:04:55I was ecstatic and I screamed.
0:04:55 > 0:04:58It is different to what other people are doing.
0:04:58 > 0:05:00I pull up to a skate park and people are like,
0:05:00 > 0:05:02why is there a wheelchair here?
0:05:02 > 0:05:05I put my helmet on and do one of the ramps and they
0:05:05 > 0:05:06are like, Oh, my God.
0:05:06 > 0:05:09I'd like to try a front flip now that I have done a backflip.
0:05:09 > 0:05:12Nobody has ever done a front flip so I would be
0:05:12 > 0:05:14the first one to do that.
0:05:14 > 0:05:15Skateboarding is going into the Olympics next year
0:05:15 > 0:05:18and I hope WCMX can go into the Paralympics as well.
0:05:18 > 0:05:21I want to inspire others and show people that you can
0:05:21 > 0:05:24do what ever you want, you just have to put
0:05:24 > 0:05:30your mind to it.
