0:02:39 > 0:02:43Going to school and learning is a way out of poverty
0:02:43 > 0:02:46for children in the area, but sometimes something incredibly

0:02:49 > 0:02:53Children with bad eyesight are not able to follow lessons at school,
0:02:53 > 0:02:56and because the area is so poor they are unable to get glasses

0:03:02 > 0:03:05Because my eyes hurt when I try to read for more than an hour,

0:03:11 > 0:03:16cannot afford to take the children there.

0:03:19 > 0:03:23A mobile one-stop shop to help children with vision problems.
0:03:23 > 0:03:28They are doing the first ever eye tests at schools in the region.
0:03:28 > 0:03:31The chart they use is so simple, one letter that gets
0:03:31 > 0:03:32smaller and smaller.
0:03:32 > 0:03:35You just have to show which way the letter is pointing,
0:03:35 > 0:03:40so children can take the test even if they can't read yet.

0:03:42 > 0:03:45I felt anxious when I could not read from the chart clearly.
