0:00:04 > 0:00:05Hi, guys!
0:00:05 > 0:00:07It's Naz here with Saturday's Newsround.
0:00:07 > 0:00:08Here's what's coming up.
0:00:08 > 0:00:11The kids taking on plastic pollution!
0:00:11 > 0:00:19And we take a ride on the world's longest zipwire!
0:00:25 > 0:00:28First up, it's a massive weekend for rugby fans -
0:00:28 > 0:00:30the Six Nations begins - let's start with a round up.
0:00:30 > 0:00:37According to injured Wales captain Sam Warburton,
0:00:37 > 0:00:39it's going to be the closest Six Nations ever.
0:00:39 > 0:00:42Scotland will be hoping to get off to a good start against Wales.
0:00:42 > 0:00:45The Scots are one of the favourites after playing really exciting rugby
0:00:45 > 0:00:46in their last matches.
0:00:46 > 0:00:48The other team some experts think have a big chance
0:00:48 > 0:00:51of winning, are Ireland.
0:00:51 > 0:00:52They play France in Paris.
0:00:52 > 0:00:57England play Italy tomorrow.
0:00:57 > 0:00:59The women's Six Nations kicked off last night with Wales
0:00:59 > 0:01:02beating Scotland 18-17.
0:01:02 > 0:01:05Wales were 18-5 up.
0:01:05 > 0:01:08But two tries in the second half got Scotland within a point.
0:01:08 > 0:01:10But Wales held on - just!
0:01:10 > 0:01:13And don't forget to head over to Newsround online to check
0:01:13 > 0:01:15out our guide to the Six Nations.
0:01:15 > 0:01:18And for six things to look out for in this year's men's
0:01:18 > 0:01:24and women's tournaments.
0:01:24 > 0:01:26Now Lady Gaga has cancelled her UK tour.
0:01:26 > 0:01:27It's because of illness.
0:01:27 > 0:01:30She was going to perform in London tomorrow and Manchester this week.
0:01:30 > 0:01:32If you've got a ticket you can get a refund.
0:01:32 > 0:01:36She says she's really sorry and sad she can't perform.
0:01:36 > 0:01:39Get well soon, Gaga!
0:01:39 > 0:01:44Millions of tonnes of plastic end up in the world's oceans each
0:01:44 > 0:01:47year - the Government recently announced big plans to cut
0:01:47 > 0:01:48all avoidable plastic waste by 2042.
0:01:48 > 0:01:49But that's over 20 years away!
0:01:49 > 0:01:51So what's being done now?
0:01:51 > 0:01:53Martin's been to meet some plastic-savvy kids.
0:01:53 > 0:01:56We already pay 5p for plastic carrier bags.
0:01:56 > 0:01:59Some places are swapping plastic straws for paper ones.
0:01:59 > 0:02:03And certain shops are promising to change their packaging.
0:02:03 > 0:02:06The aim is to help cut down the amount of plastic
0:02:06 > 0:02:08we use and throw away.
0:02:08 > 0:02:10But experts think there is still so much more we can do.
0:02:10 > 0:02:13Plastic bottles are a biggie because around half of them
0:02:13 > 0:02:16still aren't recycled.
0:02:16 > 0:02:19And that's why I've come to this school in Dorset to speak to some
0:02:19 > 0:02:23kids who have come up with a plan.
0:02:23 > 0:02:24Meet the Eco Crew.
0:02:24 > 0:02:26We care about our planet.
0:02:26 > 0:02:33So we've come up with an idea.
0:02:33 > 0:02:36To stop pollution we want our school to become a plastic free school.
0:02:36 > 0:02:39If people put more and more plastic into the ocean it will be
0:02:39 > 0:02:42there for a very long time and more plastic will go into fish bodies
0:02:42 > 0:02:45and we won't be able to have any fish any more.
0:02:45 > 0:02:47What's the main goal of the eco-club?
0:02:47 > 0:02:51To see all of our coastlines with no litter at all and to see animals
0:02:51 > 0:02:55being able to swim freely.
0:02:55 > 0:02:58We're off to see one of their ideas.
0:02:58 > 0:03:01Look, a label up there, that means that I can refill my bottle.
0:03:01 > 0:03:04They've asked local shops to let people fill up their own
0:03:04 > 0:03:05water bottles for free.
0:03:05 > 0:03:11Can we fill up our bottles?
0:03:11 > 0:03:13It should mean fewer people buy a plastic bottle which might
0:03:13 > 0:03:15just get thrown away.
0:03:15 > 0:03:16Thank you.
0:03:16 > 0:03:18They've already got 20 places signed up so far.
0:03:18 > 0:03:22Great work, guys!
0:03:22 > 0:03:24If you're eating your lunch whilst watching this,
0:03:24 > 0:03:26you might want to put your fork down for a bit.
0:03:26 > 0:03:28Seriously, this week's Big Question
0:03:28 > 0:03:29is all about sick.
0:03:29 > 0:03:32Yep, you heard me.
0:03:32 > 0:03:37So the big question this week is...
0:03:37 > 0:03:39Why does sick smell?
0:03:39 > 0:03:44Well, Zaynab, that's quite a question.
0:03:44 > 0:03:45Vomit smells because it has something
0:03:45 > 0:03:47called butyric acid in it.
0:03:47 > 0:03:50That's butyric - bew-ter-ric.
0:03:50 > 0:03:53This is an acid made from your gut to help you digest
0:03:53 > 0:03:54food.
0:03:54 > 0:03:58But when it isn't there, it smells really, really bad.
0:03:58 > 0:04:02If you wondered why humans are so good at
0:04:02 > 0:04:04picking this smell out, well, it's really, really bad.
0:04:04 > 0:04:06I mean, really strong.
0:04:06 > 0:04:09Humans have learned that the smell means you probably
0:04:09 > 0:04:12don't want to touch or eat the things that make the smell.
0:04:12 > 0:04:14The smell makes humans stay safe.
0:04:14 > 0:04:16And we went to find out how bad it really
0:04:16 > 0:04:18smells.
0:04:18 > 0:04:20Here is a nice lunch.
0:04:20 > 0:04:22Here it is after you've eaten it.
0:04:22 > 0:04:23Sort of.
0:04:23 > 0:04:26How does it smell?
0:04:26 > 0:04:28Well, sort of like all that food blended up,
0:04:28 > 0:04:30really.
0:04:30 > 0:04:33Now, let's add some butyric acid to it.
0:04:33 > 0:04:36And see what it's like when it's gone into your stomach and
0:04:36 > 0:04:38it comes back up!
0:04:38 > 0:04:39Oh, wow.
0:04:39 > 0:04:43That's awful.
0:04:43 > 0:04:46So the reason why your vomit smells really, really bad is because
0:04:46 > 0:04:49it's got something called butyric acid added to it by your body when
0:04:49 > 0:04:54it digests it.
0:04:54 > 0:04:59Next - this one may get you feeling a little dizzy!
0:04:59 > 0:05:02It's the longest zip wire in the world...check it out!
0:05:02 > 0:05:03Ready, steady...
0:05:03 > 0:05:11Go!
0:05:11 > 0:05:14This zip wire is in the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East -
0:05:14 > 0:05:17on top of a Mountain right above the sea.
0:05:17 > 0:05:18You can go super fast at 93 mph.
0:05:18 > 0:05:20It's 2.8km long -
0:05:20 > 0:05:28that's more than 28 football pitches.
0:05:28 > 0:05:30No wonder it's been given the Guinness World Record
0:05:30 > 0:05:32for the longest zip wire in the world.
0:05:32 > 0:05:33That was amazing.
0:05:33 > 0:05:41I've never felt this way before.
0:05:44 > 0:05:46It takes around three minutes to get to the end.
0:05:46 > 0:05:48Plenty time to enjoy this great view...if you're
0:05:48 > 0:05:54not scared, that is!
0:05:54 > 0:06:02That's it from me - Newsround's back at ten past one.
