:02:37. > :02:40.whether all kids feel like they could get top jobs in the future

:02:41. > :02:43.regardless of their background. Politicians make decisions that

:02:44. > :02:45.affect the whole country, but at the moment only

:02:46. > :02:48.a small number of them in the UK are Ayshea took Newsrounders Mariama

:03:38. > :03:44.different, but we have got some way to go. Within our community we have

:03:45. > :03:49.got to have people who want to say I want to make a difference and I am

:03:50. > :03:53.going to do it through the political process. Our survey suggests

:03:54. > :03:59.children from all backgrounds are least likely to admire politicians.

:04:00. > :04:08.So can David and Sam in dash interest Mariama and Ronald? I want

:04:09. > :04:11.to be a footballer when I am older. Politics is so much better because

:04:12. > :04:16.you can meet interesting people across the country and the world. If

:04:17. > :04:22.you care about the world around you and you see things are unhappy about

:04:23. > :04:27.and you can bring that change about if you become a politician, do it.

:04:28. > :04:34.Following the last general election in 2010, 27 MPs were from an ethnic

:04:35. > :04:40.minority background and it is thought this trend will continue.

:04:41. > :04:44.Both David and Sam hope people from different communities will be
