:00:11. > :00:14.final Newsround update. But don't be sad. There's all this still to come.

:00:14. > :00:20.We find out about the truth about Tom Daley's micro pigs. And find out

:00:20. > :00:24.how this paddle boarder made history. More than 70,000 cyclists

:00:24. > :00:29.are taking to the streets of London today as part of a weekend festival

:00:29. > :00:32.of the sport. The highlight will be a 100-mile race tomorrow but the

:00:32. > :00:35.event started with an eight-mile ride through central London this

:00:35. > :00:38.morning. Later there'll be a women's criterium which sees professional

:00:38. > :00:41.women cyclists do a city-centre loop, and Olympic Gold medalist

:00:42. > :00:51.Laura Trott says she hopes the event will get more people out on their

:00:52. > :00:52.

:00:52. > :00:57.bikes. It has been growing and growing. They wanted to keep the

:00:57. > :01:02.legacy going so having this on the weekend that would have been the

:01:02. > :01:09.games, is amazing. If it can be an annual event, that is exactly what I

:01:09. > :01:17.want to be part of. Mine is the London right crampy and is a 1.3

:01:17. > :01:19.mile loop. It is for an hour around the city. It was the track when it

:01:19. > :01:24.was the Olympics that is nice becoming and riding around the

:01:24. > :01:34.famous landmark. And over on the website we want to know if you'll be

:01:34. > :01:45.

:01:45. > :01:48.heading out for a peddle this Some cricket now, and England

:01:48. > :01:53.suffered a big blow just before lunch today as captain Alistair Cook

:01:53. > :01:56.was caught out for 62 runs. It's not been a good morning for the home

:01:56. > :01:59.side, who need to score at least 328 to avoid having to bat again

:01:59. > :02:06.straightaway. Yesterday Australia totalled up a massive score of

:02:06. > :02:10.527-7. It's been a year since Tom Daley

:02:10. > :02:13.scooped a bronze at London 2012 and a lot has happened since. There have

:02:13. > :02:17.been passionate fans, micro pigs and television presenting. The diving

:02:17. > :02:20.hasn't stopped either, and on Monday he came sixth in the 10m platform

:02:20. > :02:27.World Championship final, after battling an arm injury. There's just

:02:27. > :02:32.no stopping him! Here's Leah. A lot has changed for Tom Daley

:02:32. > :02:37.since that important day at London 2012. The public liked him before,

:02:37. > :02:43.and after this they loved him, including David Beckham. 12 months

:02:43. > :02:46.on, it seems like things haven't changed. You get stopped in the

:02:46. > :02:49.street a lot wherever you go, you always get asked for photos,

:02:49. > :02:53.pictures, autographs. It's funny when people come up to me and ask

:02:53. > :02:57.about my cats and things like that. I've got cats and they're like, oh,

:02:57. > :03:00.how are your cats? And the fact that they know my cats names and things

:03:01. > :03:04.like that, it's a little bit surreal, but it's nice that people

:03:04. > :03:08.are interested. A moment he'll never forget is this, picking up his

:03:08. > :03:11.medal, but since then he's had to change the way he lives his life

:03:11. > :03:13.because lots more people are watching his every step. And that's

:03:13. > :03:18.something you always have to remember, that there's always

:03:18. > :03:22.someone watching you, you kinda have to always think like that. Some of

:03:22. > :03:25.the times where you want to be just with your friends and you want to

:03:25. > :03:30.just like have fun and chill out, but it's kinda funny seeing some of

:03:30. > :03:33.the things that turn out about my micro pig that I don't have - the

:03:33. > :03:37.ornament that I tweeted a picture with me in and then all the

:03:37. > :03:40.magazines were like saying that I'd bought this micro pig for 250. And

:03:40. > :03:44.I was like, its funny that because I haven't actually bought a micro pig

:03:44. > :03:49.And right after the Olympic glory Tom was back in the pool, but this

:03:49. > :03:53.time for new TV show Splash. But all of that means if Tom heads out at

:03:53. > :03:57.the weekend he gets mobbed. If I go into town on a weekend I get stopped

:03:57. > :04:01.pretty much by every other person and you kind of have to like triple

:04:01. > :04:09.the amount of time to do things. I do the sunglasses thing, keep your

:04:09. > :04:12.head down and walk. Environmental campaigners in the

:04:12. > :04:15.West Sussex village of Balcombe are protesting for the 10th day at a

:04:15. > :04:18.site where an energy company has begun test drilling for oil.

:04:18. > :04:21.Protesters fear the company will start fracking - a technique used

:04:21. > :04:24.get gas and oil from underground. They're worried the process is too

:04:24. > :04:30.dangerous, could pollute local water supplies and even cause minor

:04:30. > :04:33.earthquakes. Energy firm Cuadrilla says it has no plans to do so.

:04:33. > :04:36.Next, there's been high drama recently on the world's highest

:04:36. > :04:41.mountain, Mount Everest. From next year, expeditions on Everest will be

:04:41. > :04:44.more closely monitored. Officials in Nepal say that for the first time, a

:04:44. > :04:47.government team will be placed at the base camp to help climbing

:04:47. > :04:50.teams, plan rescues and protect the environment.

:04:50. > :04:54.A young Afghani woman has become the country's first ever female

:04:54. > :04:57.aeroplane pilot and a hero for women's rights. Nilafor Remani

:04:57. > :05:07.dreamt of being a pilot since she was a child but fought against

:05:07. > :05:09.

:05:09. > :05:16.prejudice to get her job in the Afghan Air Force. It was difficult

:05:16. > :05:21.to beat cars you know the female situation, all the rules for women

:05:21. > :05:31.here. I just wanted to change the culture of the old mines, that we

:05:31. > :05:33.

:05:33. > :05:36.second class citizens, but Lilafor says her appointment is a step in

:05:36. > :05:39.the right direction. A US man has become the first person to

:05:39. > :05:43.paddle-board between Cuba and the US. Ben Friberg completed the

:05:43. > :05:46.111-mile voyage in 28 hours. He stood for most of the trip from Port

:05:46. > :05:50.Hemingway, Cuba, to Key West, Florida and his dad was on hand on a

:05:50. > :05:53.support boat to map read and pass him snacks along the way. And
