0:00:12 > 0:00:15Hello, I'm Hayley with all today's news including the top sporting

0:00:15 > 0:00:16sction from the weekend.

0:00:16 > 0:00:19First to the Premier League where Manchester United beat Arsenal

0:00:19 > 0:00:203-1 in a thriller last night.

0:00:20 > 0:00:23United's goals came from Antonio Valencia

0:00:23 > 0:00:24and two by Jesse Lingard.

0:00:24 > 0:00:27Arsenal tried to fight back but they were stopped by a string

0:00:27 > 0:00:30of outstanding saves from United goalkeeper David de Gea.

0:00:30 > 0:00:34But it was a bad night for United's Paul Pogba who was sent

0:00:34 > 0:00:40off for this tackle.

0:00:40 > 0:00:45He'll now miss the Manchester City derby next weekend.

0:00:45 > 0:00:48Liverpool beat Brighton 5-1 - Roberto Firmino scored twice -

0:00:48 > 0:00:51sending the reds to fourth in the table.

0:00:51 > 0:00:55Everton won in Sam Allardyce's first match in charge,

0:00:55 > 0:00:58beating Huddersfield 2-0 thanks to goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson

0:00:58 > 0:01:08and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

0:01:09 > 0:01:11Now the last thing you want when you're exploring another

0:01:11 > 0:01:12planet is a flat tyre.

0:01:12 > 0:01:15Well, Nasa has created a new one to help avoid this happening.

0:01:15 > 0:01:17These aren't just any old tyres.

0:01:17 > 0:01:19These are NASA's new airless chainmail ones.

0:01:19 > 0:01:23They look pretty cool and they've been designed to cope better

0:01:23 > 0:01:26with the wonky surfaces of other planets like Mars.

0:01:26 > 0:01:29They're made from a material which has its own memory.

0:01:29 > 0:01:34After it's rolled over something, it can remember its original shape.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37This particular material doesn't deform like conventional materials,

0:01:37 > 0:01:40where in those materials, when we put stress on them,

0:01:40 > 0:01:45we basically are stretching the bonds between the atomic structures.

0:01:45 > 0:01:52This material has a unique characteristic that allows it to do

0:01:52 > 0:01:55an atomic rearrangement, to accommodate deformation.

0:01:55 > 0:02:00We can actually deform this all the way down to the axle

0:02:00 > 0:02:02and have it return to shape.

0:02:02 > 0:02:06Sounds very high-tech and a bit complicated, but essentially,

0:02:06 > 0:02:10what it means is even if the tyre gets really squashed,

0:02:10 > 0:02:12it won't burst or break but will bounce back.

0:02:12 > 0:02:16That'll come in handy when it has to drive over those big space rocks.

0:02:16 > 0:02:26Now that's tyre-rific!

0:02:26 > 0:02:29Next, if you like gymnastics this one's for you.

0:02:29 > 0:02:30Two sporty sisters and their story.

0:02:30 > 0:02:31Hi, I'm Katie.

0:02:31 > 0:02:32And I'm Izzy.

0:02:32 > 0:02:34And you might have guessed, we're twins.

0:02:34 > 0:02:36Izzy's a brilliant gymnast and when we were younger,

0:02:36 > 0:02:40she used to compete at national level on bar and beam.

0:02:40 > 0:02:42But she had a really bad ankle injury a few years ago,

0:02:42 > 0:02:44which stopped her competing.

0:02:44 > 0:02:47So how did it feel when you hurt your ankle, and you thought that

0:02:47 > 0:02:49you wouldn't be able to do gymnastics again?

0:02:49 > 0:02:54Well, I was really disappointed and upset, because gymnastics

0:02:54 > 0:02:57was everything to me and to think that I wouldn't be able to do it

0:02:57 > 0:02:59again just really upset me.

0:02:59 > 0:03:01Was it really hard watching me?

0:03:01 > 0:03:05I mean, it was taking a long time to get better and I knew

0:03:05 > 0:03:08I would get there eventually but when I was waiting to be able

0:03:08 > 0:03:10to do things and join in with any kind of sport

0:03:10 > 0:03:13again, and I was watching you while I was coaching,

0:03:13 > 0:03:16it just made me really frustrated that I couldn't just jump

0:03:16 > 0:03:18and jump onto the floor and join in with you.

0:03:18 > 0:03:21How does it make you feel being able to do gymnastics again?

0:03:21 > 0:03:24It makes me feel really happy and delighted that I can do

0:03:24 > 0:03:30the sport that I love and I'm so thankful that my injury

0:03:30 > 0:03:32didn't stop me from doing gymnastics altogether.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35This weekend, we are heading to the London Festival of gymnastics

0:03:35 > 0:03:38and this will be the first time since we were younger

0:03:38 > 0:03:40that we have performed together.

0:03:40 > 0:03:42How are you feeling about performing at the Festival?

0:03:42 > 0:03:48Really excited because it's my big performance with everybody and a bit

0:03:48 > 0:03:53nervous, but mostly excited and ready to do it.

0:03:53 > 0:04:11It was really fun because I haven't really done

0:04:11 > 0:04:12anything like that before.

0:04:12 > 0:04:20It was actually really exciting.

0:04:20 > 0:04:21Now forget texting, snapchatting

0:04:21 > 0:04:22or instagramming your mates.

0:04:22 > 0:04:25These kids in Kidderminster are going old school...

0:04:32 > 0:04:37Dear dad, and to so much for your very lovely and well-written letter.

0:04:37 > 0:04:42But pen to paper. These guys aren't helped Palace at the local home for

0:04:42 > 0:04:49the elderly. You get to listen to what places they've been to and what

0:04:49 > 0:04:55they've been doing. And stuff they've done. You get to ask them

0:04:55 > 0:05:00all the questions you really want and most the time they answer.

0:05:00 > 0:05:06Without Snapchat or Instagram, they're still having fun. But what

0:05:06 > 0:05:09do their old pine pals think about it?I got a letter from the school

0:05:09 > 0:05:16from one of your pen pals called Tilly. Shall I read it to you? They

0:05:16 > 0:05:23are lovely, those kids. What was your favourite trip?
