:00:32. > :00:36.World leaders are meeting in London today to try to do more for children

:00:37. > :00:54.More than 4 million people, over half of them children, have had to

:00:55. > :00:58.leave their homes and everything they owned to escape the war in

:00:59. > :01:01.Syria. Many families run two countries nearby like Lebanon and

:01:02. > :01:05.Jordan where they live in special camps, but these camps do not have

:01:06. > :01:09.enough school places for all the children living there to many miss

:01:10. > :01:15.out on an education. In Lebanon, 138 thousand children out of 338

:01:16. > :01:21.thousand children do not go to school. In Jordan, 77,000 are out of

:01:22. > :01:26.school. Syrian children in countries like Iraq and Turkey are also

:01:27. > :01:30.affected. Ahmed is 13 years old and from Syria. He left his home in

:01:31. > :01:36.2014, leaving his belongings behind. He is lucky he now has a school

:01:37. > :01:40.place. TRANSLATION: This year I went to school, I am glad I go to school.

:01:41. > :01:44.My first day we played in the playground, went to class and

:01:45. > :01:49.started studying. I did not like that the books were in English. UK

:01:55. > :01:57.school and as promised to take 20,000 refugees from refugee camps

:01:58. > :02:01.over the next four years, but many campaigners, charities and

:02:16. > :02:21.four years ago and is in Lebanon now. TRANSLATION: I felt shy at

:02:22. > :02:25.first and it took a month to make friends. That is a long time. I'm

:02:26. > :02:29.having my headteacher enrolled me in the school and I can now continue my

:02:30. > :02:33.education. I am very happy because I have made friends at school and

:02:34. > :02:38.outside school, and I have a lot of fun. If you want to know more about

:02:39. > :02:45.what is happening in Syria, head to our website.

:02:56. > :02:59.using special cameras to investigate how they communicate,

:03:00. > :03:01.their energy and how clever they are.

:03:02. > :03:13.Dogs because you can play with them and they are more fun. Dogs, you can

:03:14. > :03:20.take them on walks but can stay inside. Cats because they are cute

:03:21. > :03:23.and sometimes friendly! I like dogs because you can take them out to the

:03:24. > :03:28.park and play with them Tom but I don't really like cats because they

:03:29. > :03:33.weren't going outside and play with you. Cats are peaceful and a pair

:03:34. > :03:41.and you can give them a trouble and they go off and do what they want.

:03:42. > :03:48.If you are blind, dogs can blind -- guide you, and cats cannot.

:04:36. > :04:38.It took conservationists three years to get

:04:39. > :04:41.these shots because it took so long to track the big cat down

:04:42. > :04:46.He's one of only four or five jaguars that's been spotted
