:00:00. > :00:00.Good afternoon - Ricky here with your Saturday

:00:00. > :00:26.First up, one of sport's greatest superstars

:00:27. > :00:29.Muhammed Ali has died - he was 74.

:00:30. > :00:32.The boxer was famous around the world, but not

:00:33. > :00:38.We've been taking a look back at his life.

:00:39. > :00:42.I want everyone out there to know this, I am the greatest.

:00:43. > :00:45.Muhammad Ali, the world's most famous boxer.

:00:46. > :00:49.Born with a different name, Cassius Clay,

:00:50. > :00:56.He first achieved fame when he won gold

:00:57. > :01:03.He was famous for the way he talked and the things he said.

:01:04. > :01:11.He won his first world heavyweight title at the

:01:12. > :01:17.But Muhammad Ali was more than just a boxer.

:01:18. > :01:19.He campaigned for civil rights at a

:01:20. > :01:23.time when black people in America were treated differently.

:01:24. > :01:26.The boxer converted to Islam and changed

:01:27. > :01:30.He spoke out about racism and the world

:01:31. > :01:35.One of his most famous fight was nicknamed the Rumble in

:01:36. > :01:42.It took place in 1974 against George Foreman.

:01:43. > :01:46.If you think that, wait until I get George Foreman.

:01:47. > :01:50.He is ugly and I am the true champion.

:01:51. > :02:01.He was so tired he just fell on the ropes.

:02:02. > :02:03.I said, man, this is the

:02:04. > :02:16.It made life difficult for the boxer but he

:02:17. > :02:21.In 1999, Muhammad Ali won the BBC Sports Personality

:02:22. > :02:28.He got more votes than the rest of the contenders put

:02:29. > :02:38.He is known all over the world and will

:02:39. > :02:41.be remembered for being the greatest.

:02:42. > :02:48.Next, is there life beyond our planet?

:02:49. > :02:51.That's what scientists are aiming to find out with the Square

:02:52. > :02:57.It's a huge radio telescope which will be able to search further

:02:58. > :03:30.Aliens. Are they really out there? If so, are we ever going to find

:03:31. > :03:36.them? The universe is vast. The solar system is just one of the

:03:37. > :03:39.solar systems around the sun which is one star amongst millions of

:03:40. > :03:43.stars in the galaxy and our galaxy is one among the millions of

:03:44. > :03:46.galaxies in the universe, so why not? Maybe there is light somewhere

:03:47. > :03:52.in another solar system in another galaxy. That's what scientists are

:03:53. > :03:58.trying to find out with the help of these. This is the Square Kilometre

:03:59. > :04:02.Array project. When it is finished, it will be the world most powerful

:04:03. > :04:07.audio telescope, so sensitive that it will be able to detect a signal

:04:08. > :04:11.from a planet that is tens of light years away. These telescopes are

:04:12. > :04:15.listening for intelligent life and that is why they have decided to

:04:16. > :04:20.build them here. What makes this place in South Africa perfect is

:04:21. > :04:25.that there are no radio waves around to mess up the signal. No

:04:26. > :04:29.microwaves, no mobile phones. I have had to turn mine. Every day these

:04:30. > :04:34.dishes are collecting massive amounts of data. That will

:04:35. > :04:42.eventually be processed by a supercomputer in the UK. And experts

:04:43. > :04:46.will look for any signs of life. How do you go about looking for alien

:04:47. > :04:51.signals? You got bigger telescopes like that and they can listen in the

:04:52. > :04:54.universe and listen for radio signals from other planets where we

:04:55. > :04:58.hope they also have radio signals and maybe we can detect some of

:04:59. > :05:02.these signals. How would we know that aliens have tried to contact

:05:03. > :05:07.us? We are looking for intelligent signals, not from nature but made by

:05:08. > :05:13.intelligent creatures. Will we ever be able to find an Indian? Certainly

:05:14. > :05:18.hope so. I hope to find them once in my lifetime but it could take a long

:05:19. > :05:22.time and also it can take long to communicate with them because the

:05:23. > :05:26.signals take maybe years to go to the civilisation and also years to

:05:27. > :05:33.come back so one simple question and answer could take 40 years. Of

:05:34. > :05:36.course there is no guarantee that other civilisations exist beyond our

:05:37. > :05:38.world but if they do, it might not be long before Square Kilometre

:05:39. > :05:41.Array finds them. Last up, Andy Murray

:05:42. > :05:43.is through to the final He beat Stan Wawrinka

:05:44. > :05:46.in three sets and faces If he wins he'll be

:05:47. > :05:51.the first British man to win We're back right here just

:05:52. > :05:57.before 2 - see you then.
