:00:17. > :00:23.Today, police are out protecting the streets of London.

:00:24. > :00:26.Late last night, a white van drove into people on London Bridge

:00:27. > :00:32.The area where it happened has been sealed off,

:00:33. > :00:39.They say they're treating what happened as a terror attack.

:00:40. > :00:45.Three men ran from the van, and attacked

:00:46. > :00:52.Seven people died, and many more were injured.

:00:53. > :00:54.Police were there within a few minutes, and the three

:00:55. > :00:59.Emergency services also arrived within minutes to help

:01:00. > :01:05.The prime minister, Theresa May, wanted to thank emergency teams

:01:06. > :01:11.She's been speaking this morning, after holding

:01:12. > :01:24.And united, we will take on and defeat our enemies.

:01:25. > :01:26.London mayor Sadiq Khan says the police will

:01:27. > :01:31.The police and experts and all of us are finding

:01:32. > :01:34.Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over

:01:35. > :01:40.the course of the next few days, no reason to be alarmed.

:01:41. > :01:43.One of the things the police and all of us need to do

:01:44. > :01:46.is make sure we're as safe as we possibly can be.

:01:47. > :01:48.And people are being told to stay away from the area,

:01:49. > :01:56.so the police can carry on their investigation safely.

:01:57. > :01:59.If you're upset by news like this, it's important to know that

:02:00. > :02:02.you are not the only one and it's OK to feel sad or anxious.

:02:03. > :02:05.When things like this happen, it's totally normal

:02:06. > :02:09.To think things like "Why did this happen?"

:02:10. > :02:16."Could this happen to my family and my friends?"

:02:17. > :02:19.What's important to remember is that although events

:02:20. > :02:23.like this are very sad, they are also rare.

:02:24. > :02:26.Worrying stories are often in the news because they don't

:02:27. > :02:32.So what should you do if you're feeling sad or anxious?

:02:33. > :02:38.You can speak to your parents, a teacher or an adult you can trust.

:02:39. > :02:42.They can reassure you, and help you feel better.

:02:43. > :02:44.And remember, when things like this happen, most

:03:44. > :03:48.be held in memory of the victims of the Manchester Arena attacks that

:03:49. > :03:54.happened at just under two weeks ago. It's expected that around

:03:55. > :03:56.50,000 people will be packed in at that stadium tonight, and that

:03:57. > :04:04.includes some of the original people but were there two weeks ago at the

:04:05. > :04:08.mem arena. It is Ariana Grande's first performance such that -- since

:04:09. > :04:16.that concert, and on Friday she went to visit some of the victims. She

:04:17. > :04:20.chatted to them and gave them hugs. The atmosphere here, you can see

:04:21. > :04:28.that something is actually building. Earlier on I walk round people who

:04:29. > :04:33.were already sitting waiting, and I heard that last night people camped

:04:34. > :04:38.out just to be here in time. I also got to hear some of the sound checks

:04:39. > :04:44.of some of the stars who will be performing tonight, and I had Niall

:04:45. > :04:45.Horan. That's pretty cool. At about quarter past two I will give you an
