:00:00. > :00:09.Keep watching as we've got plenty coming up.

:00:10. > :00:13.The Strictly celebs have got their dancing partners -

:00:14. > :00:28.And Quentin Blake on illustrating the new Beatrix Potter story.

:00:29. > :00:32.First, thousands of people have come together in Vatican City, in Italy,

:00:33. > :00:35.to see the Pope officially name the world famous nun,

:00:36. > :00:43.spent her life helping poor people in the slums in India.

:00:44. > :00:47.Being named a saint is seen as being a religious honour given

:00:48. > :00:54.She's become "St Theresa of Calcutta" in a special ceremony.

:00:55. > :00:55.There's a busy couple of days of international

:00:56. > :00:57.football coming up, with the four home nations

:00:58. > :01:01.in their first 2018 World Cup qualifying matches.

:01:02. > :01:06.and Northern Ireland play the Czech Republic.

:01:07. > :01:10.But the first game is England versus Slovakia -

:01:11. > :01:13.a team they drew 0-0 with in the Euros.

:01:14. > :01:16.It will be Sam Allardyce's first game as manager -

:01:17. > :01:25.If you look at their record, generally, in games like this,

:01:26. > :01:31.And we have to try and be the team that gets that advantage.

:01:32. > :01:34.There's some other international sporting action to look forward

:01:35. > :01:38.The Rio Paralympics opening ceremony is in just three days.

:01:39. > :01:43.hopefuls is wheelchair tennis player and Wimbledon champion Gordon Reid.

:01:44. > :02:05.You represent your country, you're part of this Paralympics GB team. I

:02:06. > :02:12.always feel awe inspired and a bit more motivated wearing the GB shirt.

:02:13. > :02:19.Hopefully I can get on top of that podium with the national anthem. One

:02:20. > :02:23.of the things I love most about the sport is that it translates really

:02:24. > :02:27.easily from somebody playing on their feet to somebody playing in a

:02:28. > :02:33.chair. You play on the same court, the same sized net, the same scoring

:02:34. > :02:37.system. The only difference is I get two bounces of the ball, so it's

:02:38. > :02:42.very easy to play with somebody on their feet, your family or your

:02:43. > :02:48.mates. You have had such a successful year, Wimbledon,

:02:49. > :02:53.Melbourne... It was always a name to play at Wimbledon, so to go there

:02:54. > :02:58.after years of playing doubles there was special. To be the first ever

:02:59. > :03:02.win on home soil, and the support of my friends and family, I think it

:03:03. > :03:06.was heard all around the ground, not just on our court. I have heard a

:03:07. > :03:10.few stories about some of the guys who were at the Olympics about some

:03:11. > :03:15.of the conditions and the organisation. They were not run

:03:16. > :03:21.perfectly, but they still staged a pretty successful event, in my

:03:22. > :03:24.opinion. Some pretty amazing moments, and some great

:03:25. > :03:28.performances, especially from Team GB. So it is trying to go out there

:03:29. > :03:33.and trying to focus on myself, as the athlete. I think there are six

:03:34. > :03:39.or seven players in this division who can win gold. My aim is to win

:03:40. > :03:44.two goals, singles and doubles. If you win, will you cry? I probably

:03:45. > :03:47.will. I cried when it was Andy Murray, never mind myself!

:03:48. > :03:49.From Peter Rabbit to Jemima Puddleduck,

:03:50. > :03:51.author Beatrix Potter created some much-loved characters.

:03:52. > :03:54.But there was one story that never made it on to bookshelves -

:03:55. > :03:57.The Tale of Kitty-In-Boots has been discovered 100 years

:03:58. > :03:59.after it was written - and it's Roald Dahl

:04:00. > :04:06.illustrator Quentin Blake who's done the pictures.

:04:07. > :04:08.It is the most extraordinary thing, because I have

:04:09. > :04:12.always been an admirer of Beatrix Potter.

:04:13. > :04:15.If you're interested in illustration at all, you are.

:04:16. > :04:21.But that there should be this other story is extraordinary.

:04:22. > :04:25.There are two characters, Mrs Tiggywinkle, the hedgehog who does

:04:26. > :04:30.the laundry, and Mr Tod, who is that very sinister fox.

:04:31. > :04:40.I copied them from Beatrix's drawings!

:04:41. > :04:45.There is no very developed picture of the cat who is the heroine of it.

:04:46. > :04:51.It's as though I could invent her without worrying too

:04:52. > :04:55.much about what Beatrix would think about it.

:04:56. > :04:58.She decides she's not going to go poaching any longer because it

:04:59. > :05:00.doesn't work and she throws the gun away.

:05:01. > :05:03.And she throws away this Norfolk jacket.

:05:04. > :05:09.And then she goes back to having tea with other respectable cats.

:05:10. > :05:13.But she still goes on catching rats and mice in the yard.

:05:14. > :05:17.It was so nice to draw a picture of her in a long dress,

:05:18. > :05:25.And the fight to be Strictly champ officially kicked off last night,

:05:26. > :05:27.with the 15 celebs getting paired up with their professional partners,

:05:28. > :05:29.before showing off their moves in a group dance.

:05:30. > :05:32.The stars now have three weeks to practise before

:05:33. > :05:40.We wanted to know who your fave is, and plenty of you have got in touch.

:05:41. > :05:42.Beth says Claudia and AJ should win because they're both

:05:43. > :05:44.brilliant at dancing and they look amazing together.

:05:45. > :05:50.While Jim thinks that Judge Rinder will win because he is funny!

:05:51. > :05:54.Newsround's back tomorrow morning at 7:40.
