:01:20. > :01:29.Their school is only 20 minutes away from nature reserves and loads
:01:30. > :01:30.of incredible animals, including elephants,
:01:31. > :01:38.It's not just the children here who are interested
:01:39. > :01:43.They are popular around the world, including at this school
:01:44. > :01:50.in the UK, who have even named their class after them.
:01:51. > :01:54.And they've got some big questions for the children living
:01:55. > :01:57.What's it like living near elephants?
:01:58. > :01:59.It's nice because you get to see them a lot and you get
:02:00. > :02:04.It's just very nice being around them and you can often hear them
:02:05. > :02:08.Well, it's actually quite cool unless they start to wreck
:02:09. > :02:15.What are the bad things about living around elephants?
:02:16. > :02:18.They often rip up the water pipes, and we have solar panels
:02:19. > :02:20.and they often like to stand on the solar panels.
:02:21. > :02:23.We had a school tour for my class and we were actually
:02:24. > :02:30.Luckily the bus was able to get away.
:02:31. > :02:33.I don't find that they're really bad because it's not their fault
:02:34. > :02:35.that they need food, they need water or want to defend
:02:36. > :02:39.themselves because they feel like you're threatening them.
:02:40. > :02:43.How do elephants show their feelings?
:02:44. > :02:45.It's noises and grumbling but also body language.
:02:46. > :02:51.When an elephant is angry or scared, its tail will go up like this.
:02:52. > :02:54.I'm sad and annoyed about elephants and how they are poached.
:02:55. > :03:04.Mainly disappointed that people would kill the animals for money.
:03:05. > :03:06.I just hate the fact they are getting poached,
:03:07. > :03:13.Poachers, all they really want are their tusks because they use it
:03:14. > :03:15.to make ivory and stuff so you are killing an endangered
:03:16. > :03:19.animal which is part of the big five for no reason.
:03:20. > :03:23.It makes me feel sad but angry at the same time.
:03:24. > :03:29.How would you feel if elephants died out?
:03:30. > :03:32.It would make me feel sad because in the future other people
:03:33. > :03:36.I think if any animal becomes extinct, the world becomes
:03:37. > :03:41.I think all animals have a role in nature.
:03:42. > :03:46.I love how important they are to the environment.
:03:47. > :03:52.They mean a lot to me because they are just so amazing,
:03:53. > :03:59.I like them because they sort of seem very wise,
